In an effort to bring about a new image to the glorious army of Konohagakure no Sato, the Godaime Hokage has begun a reshuffle of the teams in order to diversify and specialise the newly assigned squadrons. His critics have called it a simple rebrand of the traditional team system however, Morijin views it as a step forward in further strengthening the power and competence that Konohagakure exerts from outside of its borders. By renaming the squadrons as a whole to Guardians of the Flame, it is intended to embrace the youth of Konohagakure with a new sense of pride and belonging within the village, some calling it a step into further increasing patriotism.

As per every new Hokage installed, the Konohagakure squads are being reworked in order to bring about greater order and activity within the number one village on Ultimate Shinobi. As you may have noticed, I've gone about the squad creation and sign up quite differently than compared to previous examples. The name of the squads has been changed to Guardians of the Flame, with all of you becoming Guardians to the village. I've done so in order for the progression of the village to link nicely back with my character, as one of his nicknames is Guardian of the Flame. The paragraph posted above is all IC knowledge, allowing for your own character to view the team reshuffle and renaming as a good, bad or somewhere in between change.

Teams shall be as they usually are, the standard one Jounin/Chuunin sensei along with three Genin students. Though I'll be trying to match the teams according to everyones areas of expertise, hopefully we'll even have enough for one Medic per team. I'll be trying to push for all teams to continuously be meeting up, training and performing missions to ensure we stay on top as the most active village!

It is a requirement for every Genin, Chuunin, Jounin and Sennin to create a post within this topic, following the template as it is intended. This is going to be considered an activity check within the village and a PM shall be sent out to everyone alerting them of this topic, so I don't want to hear any excuses about not seeing the topic. Any and all Konoha - affiliated members who do not post within here shall have their characters archived. If you yourself do not wish to belong to a Team, then PM myself about this and don't forget to tell me why.

Apologies for the delay on the teams, at last though, I've posted them up and slotted everyone into a squad who wished to be part of one, with the exception of Olan and Aries. Squads are not final and may be subject to change in the future for various reasons, such as inactive characters, character deaths, team reshuffles or promotions in rank.
