Kekkei Genkai and Traits: Dark Release (冥遁, Meiton) techniques revolve around absorbing, manipulating, and releasing chakra taken from an opponent. It is not an actual element, nor does it have a true substance; rather, it is a nature that preys upon the chakra of those with the Kento genetics. Members of the clan can use normal chakra, but also have the alternate option to have their darker nature influence the chakra create and thus to use Dark Release. The greatest source of this Kento nature comes from an imprint on each member's left hand palm, appearing as a white diamond that overlaps a black square, being gray where they overlap. Through various studies it has been determined that the diamond mark glows when using the absorption mechanics of this Kekkei Genkai, implying that it is this symbol that controls that ability. The square mark glows when using the release mechanics of the bloodline, and finally the gray area in between glows when using the manipulation mechanics.

Chakra influence by Dark Release changes some distinct qualities of normal chakra, one of the main characteristics being that normal chakra is unseen by the naked eye, yet Dark Release chakra shows as a translucent black energy, with a tendency to squirm and 'flow' like an animate goop. It reacts to the presence of all foreign chakra regardless of nature with one exception; that being other Kento Dark Release. So when using most Dark Release techniques, the Dark Chakra will make attempts to envelop the foreign chakra. Additionally while Dark Release is being used, the user will adopt an aura of this dark chakra, which grows more visible the more Meiton techniques are used.

History:
nobody really knows where the kento came from it's rumored that they came from when the child of a nara and an half uchiha half hyuuga got together. Some time after an older war nobody has record of, that specific person's research and findings on their kekkei genkai was discovered. He claimed the the leader of their village ordered the Sannin to assassinate him, forcing him to leave the village as a missing-nin.

Then he started a family and his children had his kekkei genkai and so on through history. after the person who created the clan died (95 years later) his clan members celebrated his long life. and then started to deside who was going to be the strongest the clan members at first wanted to pick the strongest in their clan but he turned out to be a complete beast and had no control over his kekkei genkai and then they said they would use the smartest one but he was too weak.

After all this was done the clan had to make a decision to either have a strong clan leader or a smart one the clan was seperated into diffrent groups because they each had a diffrent opinion on each candidate and then the weak smart candidate was killed the clan that wanted for him to win was outraged but the opposing clan was angered that nobody knew how he died and the only enemies he had were the people who didn't vote for him. thats when the weak guys people attacked and the other side of the clan was shocked that their peace had ended so the other half of the clan fought back.

It was a war that nobody would end thats when one shinobi proving to be smarter than the candidate and stronger than the other appeared and put an end to the was by using a jutsu he had created called massive inhailing maw he absorbed all the jutsu used in the war and sent it back at them with a huge judgement. the war had ended and what remained of the clan agreed to make him leader and the shinobi agreed.No other Shinobi has ever been able to recreate the Jutsu that that man used since.

Description: In order to use this technique, the user must charge their chakra into the mark on their left hand for two seconds first, causing the white diamond symbol to glow. Then, a large amorphous plume of Dark Chakra will launch out of the symbol without breaking contact with the user, allowing them to control the trajectory of the plume for one full post, at the speed of a thrown projectile. Then after the post ends, the plume returns to the user's hand through the diamond mark. Any equal or lower ranked chakra-based offensive technique that the plume intercepts will be assimilated into and broken down within the Dark Chakra, and then when the plume returns it will be stored, but will not replenish the user's chakra. If this plume strikes an enemy shinobi, it will envelop them for a small duration to absorb an equal amount of chakra from them, and then when the plume returns the user will gain an amount of chakra one rank below the amount absorbed; the rest being lost to entropy.

Description: In order to use this technique, the user must have absorbed a chakra-based jutsu using Inhaling Maw beforehand. Then, they must form two hand seals and charge their chakra into the mark on their left hand for two seconds first, causing the gray area to glow for that duration, and then when finally activated the black square mark will glow. Activation causes the absorbed technique to be launched from the mark as if they had used the original version, with one difference: The released technique will be covered in the dark aura of the Kento Clan.

Description: In order to use this technique, the user must have absorbed a chakra-based jutsu using Inhaling Maw beforehand. Then, they must form two hand seals and charge their chakra into the mark on their left hand for two seconds first, causing the gray area to glow for that duration, and then when finally activated the black square mark will glow. The chakra from the absorbed technique will have been converted by the Dark Release to boost the power of this technique. Light blue flames will be released from the Black Square mark in a large jet, with two times the normal power due to the boost. The cost of this technique is equal to the rank of the absorbed technique.

C-rank= 7 Feet In width.The damage would be first degree burns and several scorches around the touched area(only the part of the body that touches the image can be burned). This jutsu cannot burn through armor above its rank.

B-rank = 20 Feet in width. 2nd degree burns would cover the whole touched area if a limb touches it the limb will catch fire instantly these flames can be put out instantly with water.

A-rank =45 Feet In width. The damage to the touched area would be 3rd degree burns and the limb will catches fire and the skin would be gone showing pure meaty flesh.

S-rank = 60 feet In width. Smaller things like fingers would instantly obliteration and arms would quickly be reduced to bone if the fire isnt put out in a post. after a post the arm could be burnt away.
