| FERISU, TAI.THE INFO. Name: Ferisu, Tai Nickname: None Age: 14 Gender: Male Appearance:
- Height and Weight- Tai isn't too terribly far from for normal height and weight for his age group. He stand at around five feet and four inches tall and weighs somewhere around one hundred pounds give or take a few. His height and weight ratio are healthy, but he may be a tad bit smaller than some of his peers.
- Build and Skin- Most would describe Tai's build as tone and healthy. He's slim, but not sickeningly so. Also, he isn't bulky or muscular. He has a light build that allows him to be nimble and agile on his feet. Visible under his skin is the very feint, beginning formation of abs and pecs. Most would describe his build as cute, not necessarily sexy. His skin is very tan, but not because of copious amounts of exposure to the sun. He is naturally very tan. Compared to most of his clan members though, his skin is considered relatively light.
- Eyes and Hair- Tai's eyes are unlike most normal eyes. The color is green, but the green is a much brighter shade than normal. It is comparable to the shade of green found on green apples. His pupils are odd as well. They are narrowed, much like a cat. His hair is a bit more normal though. It's solid black and cut short, but not too short. It's cut at a length to keep his bangs out of his eyes.
- Clan Features- Because of the clan he was born in, Tai has several features that distinguish him from the average human. First and foremost is the ears on his head. They are the same color as his hair - black. Next is the tail that extend from a spot on his lower back right above his buttocks. It is black as well. Also his canines are slightly sharper and longer than a normal person's, and his nails are more like claws that are extendable and retractable.
- Typical Attire- Typically, Tai wears clothing that is common among shinobi and suited for combat. Most of his clothing is kept tight or not very loose on his body in order to make it harder for enemies to grab in close combat. Most of the time, he wears dark colors, like black, maroon, navy, grey, etc. He is known for going shirtless at times because it feels more comfortable and more natural. His pants usually have a small, precisely cut hole in the back for his tail to slip through and move about freely. His belt is fitting with slots to fit daggers, like holsters.
- Other- Sometimes, Tai will have a temporary tattoo inked onto his body. The design varies depending on his mood and artistic inspiration. Most of the time, they are clan related, cat related, or something random that he finds cute. Also, he occasionally walks around with a toothpick in his mouth.
Forehead Protector: Most of the time, his forehead protector is fitted as a belt buckle, but he sometimes wears it on his head as well. Personality:
- Positive- For the most part, Tai is a rather positive thinking guy - a glass half full man if you will. He wakes up in the morning with a smile on his face and has a positive outlook on the day ahead. And because of positive attitude, his default mood is generally quite happy. He is kind to strangers and friends alike, and when it isn't time to be serious, he is often in a playful mood. Tai likes to have fun when he isn't working... and sometimes even when he is working. Tai likes playing cards (even though he sucks at it) and often carries a pack or two around with him to keep himself and others entertained. And when there are no cards to play, he likes to play tag. His positive personality is also an influence on his nindō. He foresees making tomorrow less serious than today, which in his mind, means making a better, happier day.
- Cautious- Although he likes to goof off and have fun, Tai knows when he is in a serious situation or in trouble. In those situations, he is more than capable of turning off the playfulness and turning on the cautiousness. Self-preservation is an important to him as well as the preservation of his teammates. When in battle, he forces himself to think before committing to an action. Running into a fight recklessly is not something he's fond of. However, if he has to make a rash move to save someone important to him, he's not afraid to do it.
- Curious- Tai is naturally curious about certain things in the world. In essence, he's a curious kitty. However, his cautiousness prevents him from getting too curious about things. Tai likes exploring, but he's hesitant when he senses impending danger.
- Prankster- Every now and then, Tai likes playing prank on those that are closest to him. Most of the time, he chooses simple tactics, like jumping out of bushes or dumping a bucket of water on a sleeper.
- Team Player- Sometimes, a person has to take one for the team in order to create benefits for more than just one's self. Tai understands this and knows that it can be essential to creating unity among his team or squad members. He expects others to be team players as well and isn't afraid of openly scolding those that are selfish or those that think team is spelled with an I.
Clan: Ferisu Clan Nindō: "I will do what I can to make tomorrow less serious than today."
THE BACKGROUND. History:
- Early Years- Tai was born a pure blood baby boy and an only child into Ferisu clan of Kaminari no Kuni. We was well taken care of by his parents and he adapted well to life in the clan. As he got older, he began adapting to life outside of the clan as well and he was exposed to the world of shinobi in Kumogakure no Sato. While his mother and father had ordinary jobs, Tai wanted to be a ninja. He wanted to fight for his village and his clan like some of his other clan members were.
- Academy Years- After enrolling into the academy, Tai knew he was in the right place. He loved it. He loved learning about how to become a ninja. He loved learning about the different techniques he could use, and quickly took a preference for taijutsu and weaponry techniques because he had a natural affinity for them. In his early years in the academy though, he had a lot of bullying to deal with. Other students frequently picked on him because of his ears and tail. However, Tai stayed positive. Eventually, he made some friends and managed to ignore the bullies effectively enough to finish his education and successfully graduate.
- Present- As a full fledged genin, Tai showed promise as a talent taijutsu and weapon using ninja. The ability to use his tail in combat came in hand, especially for wielding and throwing smaller weapons. Over time, he earned the respect of some, but not all, of his bullies. In fact, he even made friends with many of them. Tai looks forward to taking on his first missions with new teammates. He can't wait to finally put his abilities to good use in order to make a good name for himself, his clan, and to earn a successful living to make his life easier in the future.
Roleplay Sample:- Spoiler:
Tai walked into the hospital with a subtle smile shaping his lips. It was noon. The sun was at its highest point in the sky and a few clouds were passing by overhead. He wasn't alone as he stepped inside the building. People were moving in and out - hustling about for their own purposes. Briefly, Tai greeted his mother before moving on to a section of the building where patients with minor injuries waited.
Occasionally, Tai volunteered his time at the hospital. Typically, he was told to treat the minor ailments while the doctors and more experience medical ninja worked on the more complicated afflictions.
Tai's first patient stepped up. It was a middle aged man - a farmer. By the looks of it, he had accidentally cut his index finger open by something sharp. It was tightly wrapped in some cloth, so Tai unwrapped it to have a look. Tai focused chakra to his right hand, which began to glow green. Placing his hand on the wound, Tai, held it there for a few minutes, allowing the size of it to shrink down and bleed much more slowly. After a few more minutes passed, the wound was at a more manageable size.
After grabbing some supplies, Tai placed a gauze pad over the young and wrapped it up with some gauze tape. A nurse then stepped in to give the man some preventative shots in case he was cut with something rust. "Next," the genin called out. It was going to be a long day.

- Up Close and Personal- In battle, Tai is primarily a close range fighter. Although he can hold his own at long distances with throwing weapons, the closer ranges are where he succeeds. He tends to get close to his enemy and attempts to overwhelm them with an onslaught of taijutsu and weapon strikes. Even if he doesn't succeed in defeating his opponent, he tries to wear them out. With his two arms, two legs, and the addition of his tail which can hold a and strike with a weapon, he can easily pressure his opponents into defense.
- Hit and Run- When unable to get close to an enemy for long, Tai resorts to hit and run tactics where he takes an opening to move in for a quick attack and then attempts to move out before he can receive retaliation. In these situations, he attempts to use techniques that can potentially be debilitating to the opponent.
- Throw and Approach- Sometimes, Tai starts a battle a fair distance away from an opponent and has to move in to do real damage. In order to aid this, he tends to start throwing his weapons rapidly with the help of his tail until he can get close enough to land punches and kicks. This serves to help put the opponent on the defensive as well as he attempts to overwhelm them before he reaches them.
- Sharp Surprise- After fighting with his fists and feet, Tai will break out a surprise for his opponent - his concealed retractable wrist blades and attempt to sink them into his opponent as quickly as possible. Also, he'll grab a dagger with his tail and give the opponent one more sharp attack to look out for.
- Sensory Aid- No matter when or where he's fighting, Tai puts his enhanced, cat-like senses to good use. He can use them to aid in tracking an enemy, fight under the cover of darkness, and even to help avoid attacks in the heat of combat.
- Following Orders- All in all, Tai knows that as a team, he is much more likely to accomplish his goals if he is a team player. He is more than willing to listen to the strategies of others and then follow orders he is given.

Restrictions: Ferisu Clan Exclusive Description: Those with this special characteristic have trained themselves to be able to use their tail for more than just balance. They are capable of using it to hold lightweight weapons (such as daggers and other weapons of roughly the same weight and size) as well as use it as an extra limb during combat. Though not very strong, it can often serve as a distraction or aid in disrupting an opponent’s physical attacks.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Chakra Cost: 1CP per 5 clones
Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Chakra Cost: 1 (per 3 explosive notes)
Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Chakra Cost: Cost of Genjutsu + 2CP
Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
- Kumogakure Techniques:
Name: Modoru Kikkā - Back Kicker Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: - Description: Modoru Kikkā is a taijutsu technique. Once the user has gathered enough chakra to their feet, they will try to maneuver themselves behind their opponent so that they can deliver a chakra - enhanced kick to the back. A normal kick would be damaging enough but to have chakra reinforcing it will result in more pain. If a direct hit is made, they'll be able to force their opponent down onto their knees or flat onto their face. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Raitoningu no Kengen - Lightning Manifestation Rank: C Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0 - 5m), Med (5 - 10m), Far (10m+) Element: Raiton Description: Raitoningu no Kengen is a weaponry technique utilizing the lightning element. Using their lightning affinity, the Kumogakure shinobi is able to enhance any weapon they possess and coat it with lightning chakra to give it a more powerful hit. The lightning will be able to numb the area where the weapon strikes and also cause minor burns. Any weapon can be enhanced by this attack, Kunai, Shuriken, Blades or even Arrows. The technique can only be used on weapons though, once the weapon has struck something the lightning will fade away. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Rariatto - Lariat Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: - Description: Rariatto is a taijutsu technique. After gathering enough chakra within their entire body, the user will be able to gain an sudden burst in strength and speed. The user will straighten their dominant arm so that they can form a greater attack. Then using their speed the user will rush towards their target and ram into their upper chest with their strengthened arm, forcing the opponent to the ground. Chakra Cost: 8
- Ferisu Bloodline Techniques:
Name: Shita no Seisou - Cleansing Tongue Rank: D Type: Bloodline Range: - Element: - Description: Cleansing Tongue is a technique used by members of the Ferisu clan. The user is able to speed up the healing process of minor wounds (shallow cuts, grazes, and other such wounds that wouldn’t require professional medical attention) by licking them. It also helps to dull the pain and acts as a sanitizer, helping to prevent infection. Though it is primarily for personal use, it can be used on another consenting party. Chakra Cost: 4

Name: Suraisu an Daisu - Slice ‘N Dice Rank: C - B (C) Type: Taijutsu Range: - Element: - Description: Slice ‘N Dice is a taijutsu technique used by members of the Ferisu clan. It’s a rather simple technique that utilizes the user’s extended claws to slice at the enemy up to five times in rapid succession, causing minor wounds. At higher ranks, the addition of chakra to this technique allows them to slice through thin sheets of metal effortlessly. Chakra Cost: C - 6; B - 11

Name: Kurotchishotto - Crotch Shot Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: - Description: Kurotchishotto is a humiliating taijutsu technique. By appearing in front of the opponent, the user will charge a small amount of chakra towards their dominant leg. Performing an upward kick at the opponents crotch area, they will be able to force them up into the air by a metre where a second attack could take place. If the victim was a male, a great deal of pain will be dealt after the kick has been made. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Kaminari Tenohira - Thunder Palm Rank: D-B (C) Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: Raiton Description: Concentrating lightning chakra into their hand, the user strikes their enemy with a strong, open-palmed strike. Depending on the level of chakra concentrated, the assault can act akin to a taser at D-rank, momentarily stunning the opponent, a more powerful shock at C-rank, momentarily stunning the opponent and numbing the area around the blow for one post, and an even more powerful shock at B-rank, inflicting partial paralysis if struck on a limb, the limb being paralyzed from the shock for one post. A full body strike would only greatly numb the opponent's torso for a single post, afflicting the area of the strike with first degree burns, and inflicting minor internal damage if struck directly over an organ. Name: Youji - Toothpick Rank: E Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: Though the toothpick looks like it might be a quirk of user’s, it actually functions as a weapon in battle. Similar to a senbon, the user can spit the toothpick at his/her opponents to injure them. He/she can also spit it at incoming projectiles to knock them away. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Ayatsuito no Jutsu - String Reeling Technique Rank: D Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a technique utilizing wire. This string can be used in rappeling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent. The properties of the wire also allows the user to guide fire down it with any number of Katon Jutsu. Chakra Cost: 4
Name: Kage Senbon no Jutsu - Shadow Senbon Technique Rank: D Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 1om) Element: N/A Description: This technique seems to be a variation of the Shadow Shuriken Technique, replacing shuriken with senbon. The user throws at the same time a senbon with a distracting item attached to it, and another one without it, so that the opponent will only react to the more obvious projectile and won´t notice the other senbon. However, if the opponent recognises the trick behind it, this technique is easy to evade. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu - Shadow Shuriken Technique Rank: D Type: Weaponry Range: Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: N/A Description: It's an extremely simple technique where two shuriken, like the Fūma Shuriken, are piled one onto another and thrown simultaneously. However, depending on the way it's used, it can prove its absolute efficiency. The trick is to somehow draw the enemy's attention towards the upper shuriken. Then, to deal with the path of the lower shuriken. If the enemy notices both shuriken, the technique ends up losing all of its efficiency. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Supin - Spin Rank: D Type: Weapons Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Taking a throwing weapon, senbon and kunai generally working best, the user throws the weapon with a slight spin to it, akin to a bullet. The spin stabilizes the thrown weapon, increasing it's effective range and power. For example, a kunai thrown at long range would hold accuracy and damage close to that of being thrown at mid-range.
Name: Soto Nise - Fake Out Rank: D Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0-5M) Element: N/A Description: The user will draw their opponent's attention to their blade or blade-wielding handing, telegraphing an eminent attack with it. The user will begin to spin, as if building up momentum for the attack, before surging chakra through their feet to stick to the ground to arrest their momentum before swinging around to strike from the other direction. Alternatively, the user can simply release the original blade, letting it fly at the opponent, while quickly drawing forth another weapon and attacking with that. Chakra Cost: 3

Tai's wrist blades are usually kept secured around his wrists when in battle or on missions and his daggers are usually secured by attachments on his belt.
Name: Retractable Wrist Blade Rank: C Type: Close Range - Gauntlet Quantity: 2 Description: As its name implies, the user equips these retractable wrist blades so that the attach to their forearm without risking exposure. These blades can spring forth when needed to surprise any opponent fought in hand to hand combat.
Name: Dagger Rank: D Type: Close Range - Short Blade Quantity: 2 Description: A dagger is a double-edged blade used for hitting, stabbing or thrusting. Short and small, it is wielded easily in one hand, and is perfect when wishing to perform quick stabbings.
- Medium Scroll:
Tai's scroll is secured on his back with a strap that wraps around his torso.
Name: Medium Scroll Rank: C Type: Supplementary Quantity: - Description: Scrolls are an important asset to any ninja's arsenal, whether they are used for sealing, summoning or simple communication, scrolls have always found their home within a ninja's pouch or pocket. When stood, a medium scroll will measure up to thirty centimetres in height, with the scroll length itself reaching one metre. | 1) Are you sure you want only one element to start with? That could prove to be a huge disadvantage for your guy.
2) You can only start with 1 Special Characteristic. (And I am not counting the Social one into that number).
3) You cannot start with a custom kit. |

2. Enhanced Perception was removed
3. Removed the custom kit and replaced it with the standard genin kit - also updated his typical attire to justify how he travels with his scrolls.
