The gentle fist - The Gentle Fist style of combat is based on palm strikes and generally aims to damage the body's Chakra Pathway System, thus creating difficulty by inhibiting an opponent's use of chakra. To do this, the user will forcefully insert a small amount of their own chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. The chakra can then be used to rupture or divert chakra flow, preventing them from using jutsu. Any chakra based substance can be countered/destroyed by using the gentle fist style to force chakra into it. This is done by using the chakra openings in ones hands to shape their own chakra into needles which can cut through chakra itself. It can also be used to attack the opponent's internal organs, to which the chakra pathway system is closely tied. Even the slightest tap from this style can cause major damage, hence the name "gentle fist." Because the chakra pathway system is invisible, the Byakugan is required for this style to be used effectively. Since the Byakugan is unique to the Hyūga clan, it has become their signature style of combat.

Kekkei Genkai:
The Byakugan is a Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai, a genetic trait, that is shared amongst the members of the Hyūga Clan. Those that inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes. It has two different settings, dormant and activated, both of which take a slightly different appearance from the other form. The normal eye for a Hyuuga clan member differs from a normal human eye. The iris and pupil are barely discernable with both appearing a milky white in color. The pupil itself is larger than a typical humans and it is outlined by a black region. The sclera remains normal except the larger size of the pupil reduces ones ability to view it. Once the eye is fully activated, the hidden iris becomes more apparent. Also when providing blood and chakra for the eyes' bloodline vision, veins will bulge lateral to each eye.

The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is having the ability to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person. This is often determined by both rank and skill. At the genin level it can reach up to 100 meters. At Chunin this increases drastically reaching out to 400 meters. At jounin this goes up even more to 800 meters. A Kage level Hyuuga is capable of seeing up to 2km in all directions. However, the third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, as well as the chakra circulation system inside another's body. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. (see Clan Traits above).

The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.

History:

The Hyuuga are one of the oldest and most powerful clans in Konoha, being one of its two great Dojutsu clans. They aided in the founding of the leaf village, though played a much smaller role in its founding then the Senju and Uchiha did. They quickly established a high ranking amongst the ninja squadrons and became well known to all, just the mention of the Byakugan or the name Hyuuga wining an instant air of respect. Their clan is based highly on nobility and even with in itself has its own social structure.

The clan is split into two different families. One being known as the main and the other being the branch. This social division has always been their greatest flaw. The Main family often holds themselves to be higher up and more important then the branch family, and basically the branch is looked down upon like lesser individuals and sometimes even pawns which can be thrown away for the villages sake. To be looked at most appropriately, the Main are the Kings, and the Branch are the peasants. It even goes so far that a destructive seal is placed on the forehead of all Branch family members which can be used to instantly destroy a branch member if they do not follow the orders of the Main family.

In recent times, this wall has begun to get broken down, and the destructive seal is being used less and less. Cooperation is beginning to flourish between the two houses which is leading to prosperous outcomes. It is unknown if this will continue or if it is a momentary laps of peace. It will all come down to the heads of the clan for each generation, and it will be up to them to dictate which path will be taken, segregation, or unity.

Description: Using the Hyuuga clan's fighting style, the user will move chakra to their hand(s) (and/or arms). Once there, they will concentrate it, and upon the will of the user the chakra will be forcebly pushed from the chakra points of the inner or outer appendage.. The force of the chakra being pushed out is quite like heavenly spin technique however it is used for a more suited purpose. The sudden pulse of chakra will send the user spinning around. The greater the area in which the chakra is pushed out the aster the user will be turned. If it's the hand, a simple 90 turn will occur. If the entire arm is used a full 360 turn will be utilized. The speed of this jutsu is quite immense, used mainly for dodging attacks.

Background Information

History:

Aoi Hyuuga was born fourteen years ago, in the dead of the night. The hospital, as Aoi was told, was a large building and consisted of various ninja and civilians alike in it's halls and rooms. On the very top floor of this hospital and in a large room a female ninja gave birth to a small child. The skies above the ceiling cracked and sparked with the makings of a storm. Thunder roared and the clouds spurred rain drops of monstrous size and rate. As the tempest above thrashed into life, the child of Hyuuga was born. Bald as a stone and as tiny as one could be, the child did not cry nor thrash about once he left his mothers womb. The Medics on hand were bewildered at this trait. Newborns always cried as they entered the world. For certain there was something wrong with him, there must be. But no matter the tests, the result was he same. The newborn was perfectly healthy; the only trait that proved otherwise was his silence and calm. The newborns mothe and father were both of the same accord as the medics. Fate touched once more, and the raging storm outside lifted and then stopped. The skies calmed, rain halted and wind was silenced. No sooner than the storm was ceased, then the newborn of the Hyuuga started to cry. Deep cries only a child new to the world could make. And at that moment, the questions were answered.

The months that passed proved the point of the newborns family blood. As he started to grow, and fast as babies do, traits about him began to surface. The newborn started to develop traits much like his father. Smooth white skin, dark red hair hair and most of all shining eyes of gray that glinted silver. While most of his looks matched that of Natsu, the newborn had looks that were of his mother as well. The high cheekbones and arched eyebrows. The simple features of structure and being proved that he was infect his mother and fathers son. The boy was named only a few days after his birth, and by his father. Aoi. A name coming from his long ago family that meant in their language, angel. Aoi never did, and to this day, does not know his mother’s name. When he was with her, and to what he can remember, is little to none. What Aoi remembers is nothing more than her presence. A dark, warm, haze of a sort. No voice or soothing tone, just a warm feeling of remembrance. It was suggested that his mother was the one who held the Kaguya traits. Although mystery remains around this assumption.

His father never really told him where his mother went, or why, but Aoi never took this to mind. Hisagi was a perfect father and made better as one parent. Growing up under his father did indeed have its up portions, as well and it's downs. The real highlight of growing up under his father was the traning. Once he hit the age of seven, his father started to train him in the way of the shinobi. He taught him many things about chakra, jutsu and etc. But most of all, and most important, he began Aoi's training with taijutsu. Father and son started with simple moves and the years past. By the time Aoi reached nine, and entered the academy, he was extremely gifted in close combat His chakra wasnt on any account extremely high, but his percise control of it was excelent. Eventually, as the prowess of his bloodline trait began to surface, his ability surfaced even more and increased greatly.

The Academy was a place of shock and surprise for Aoi. As expected, teaching was involved but to the extent that it was taught, made him cringe. The moment he stepped through the door he was hit with challenges of every kind. Jutsu, Chakra, matches. It was left and right of being hit with a test. Aoi was constantly under attack from his teacher’s will and his classmates skill. As expected, Aoi was faster and than the rest. Rather when it came to the ninjutsu where he was weak. One such fellow student was called Toushiro. He was easily the most gifted in terms of ninjutsu. He had mastered the simple jutsu that Aoi still did not have completely down at this time. And that was why, when he was pared with this so student for one of the final academy test. Aoi went all out. Using his speed, stamina and beating the boy was easy enough than he so used to think. Soon Toushio's blood was on the ground, and on Aoi’s hands. He had passed. And with that move he, Aoi Hyuuga of the Cloud, was given a headband and made a Genin.

It was eerily quiet. No sounds echoed in the vacant courtyard that, at this moment, served as the place of momentary break that he so yearned for. He made no sound, the figure whose eyes were closed to the world. His body was pressed against the wall, the smooth stone of gray was of rigid build but he took little notice; his head lay still. He simply continued to lean against the wall. The blonde haired man took a few deep breaths, his chest rising and falling in a repetition manner. Breathing drew to a sluggish pace; his heart rate slowed and as Arashi, Mitsukai drifted between reality and fantasy, he thought of why exactly he was here. Being present at the Academy was none to regular for the Kumogakure Jounin but as of now, thanks to current times and matters, he found himself in this place more than ever. The progressive demand of time was great and its grasp was tight as ever. A new set of soon-to-be students were slowly filling the records of Kumo's Academy. This meant he was up to the call. Teaching was one, of many, issues that demanded constant diligence from every one. From the teacher to the student, each person had to haul their own weight and provide the effort required. Mitsukai was of no exception to this. He positioned himself as a teacher to the young, a provider of knowledge. So why was he here? Awaiting someone, anyone, to step up and ask to be taught? Or perhaps it was to just simply relax in an area where he could be comfortable. Even Mitsukai did not know.
