hey everybody, i'm SorinBlack, or just Sorin for short. (no relation to Sorin Markov) i've been looking for a good text based roleplaying site for a while now, and i seem to have finally found one! there is one thing though: i'm not sure how this site in particular works. would someone be willing to mentor me for a little bit until i get my post-legs? that would be awesome. i'm ready to get started on my character as soon as possible.

If you don't mind being mentored by the youngest S rank in history of the Hidden Leaf that also controls snakes and acts like a dick most of the time, my character could fill that role. If it's about Out of Character mentoring, I guess I could help too =P

yes, i had an idea for a clan with a Kekkei Genkai. do i have to get that approved, and where would i do that?

If you want a limited slot, like an Uchiha or a Hyuuga of a Jinchuuriki or something of that sort, you'll need to amass a grand amazing total of 10 posts before you can send a PM (Private Message) to our head butt leader Adam. Welcome to the site btw.

Actually you need 15 posts in order to send a PM.

You can ask an admin also if you want to start at some other rank than Genin, and give some awesome reasoning / rp sampling as basis for your argument about the rank. Smile

Usually it is preferred though that members start out as Genin.

As Viridian also pointed out, that if you want to join one of the limited clans (Uchiha, Hyuuga, Kaguya, Haretsu or Uzumaki) or if you want a Jinchuuriki you have to send an application for that to Adam via PM.

Don't hesitate to send me a PM or any other staff (when you have reached the needed post amount) if you need help with anything.

But all jokes aside, I would not try too hard to make a custom clan of your own, seeing as those don't get approved all too often, while most people that work on it tend to disappear because they got bored of it.

so how do i put a claim on a face? is it done automatically when i create a character, or do i have to submit an application?

Nope.

When you create your character you just say who your picture(s) are of and what they're from and move on with your life. Very Happy

On the app, there is a section about face claims. You'll fill it out. The mod who gives the second approval will add it to the long list of already taken face claims so no one else can come along and steal it. Almost every application you'll have to give info for is the character app.
