Appearance:
Toyata stands tall at 6’2 with short cut black hair, and pale blue eyes. Most of his face is covered by the slick black mask that he wears at all times, which results in the fact that only his eyes are visible to everyone else. The mask along with his pale, seemingly dead eyes makes deciphering his facial expressions impossible, the only thing seen in his face around dusk and at night is cold darkness across his face.

Toyata wears a simple all-black outfit with pockets visible at his chest, thighs and across his lower back, along with pockets hidden inside of his west. As he relies and prefers using stealth during his mission he has chosen to not wear the typical boots of a shinobi, but do instead use custom made shoes made from sort fur and bamboo fibers which is of cause painted black. He can usually be found carrying a single sword across his back, a katana. As backup he usually uses a wakizashi and a ninjato. And who knows what hidden of other weaponry hidden elsewhere.

Despite being born to an Yuki father, Toyata has, for reasons unknown, received none of the typical clan traits other than the Kekkei Genkai.

Personality:
Highly independent and loner is words often used to describe Toyata, he was taught from an early age that the only person he should completely trust is himself. This was due to the fact that his father came from another hidden village and he feared that members of his old clan might pursue either himself or Toyata, and he wanted Toyata to be safe. Though not a social being Toyata performs excellent when working in teams, and is loyal to his superiors, though not always agreeing with them or trusting them. He always works hard to complete his mission.

Having been schooled at home from an early age, he has developed good analytic skills and through games of go and shogi as well as many lectures from his parents he mostly knows what the best move to make is by instinct. Socially he has some problems as he often spends time to analyze what people tell him to make an assessment as to them being truthful or not, instead of just trusting them. As such he is very cautious telling people anything.

Though being the son of outsider and slightly distrusted because of that, Toyata is very proud of his heritage and believes that any village, however brutal, worthy of being called the Blood Mist, must be respected as that truly says something about their talents and potential.

Combat Style:
Toyata prefers to avoid direct combat with enemies. In Toyatas mind the mission always comes first and the kill comes second. Often a mission’s rate of success is higher if the mission itself is kept hidden and does not draw attention. Thus on many missions Toyata will rely on stealth and cunning, often performing at night to improve his chances of keep hidden. If an enemy is encountered Toyata prefers to sneak up behind him or her and simply slit the throat in extremely close combat rather than engage the enemy head on.

If stealth is not a possibility for Toyata, he will engage the enemy in mid or close range combat. He will use his speed to close the distance to the enemy to get close enough for the use of ninjutsu or even close enough to strike with his sword. A personal favorite of Toyatas is to keep the enemy in close combat and using his sword to keep the enemy occupied, then using his ability to form seals with one hand, he strike the enemy’s back with a ninjutsu attack.

Toyatas biggest weakness is long ranged combat, as he primarily wants to get in and personal with the enemy. His longed abilities are limited to a jutsu or two and the ordinary kunai throw. So he will try to close the distance at all costs.

The Background

History:
The early years:
On a dark winter night in a dark corner of Kumogakure, a former Kumogakure diplomat and Chuunin, Amaya, and her husband, Tsubasa a former Jounin of Kirigakure welcomes a son. The two had met on a diplomatic mission between Kumogakure and Kirigakure and when the negotiations broke down, the two who had fallen in love travelled together back to Kumogakure.

As Tsubasa saw his son for the first time, he wondered and feared for the future of the young child, as the newly-born Toyata inherited his blood, the blood of the Yuki clan, which had long been isolated within the borders of Kirigakure, Toyata might be sought after my members for Tsubasas old village and clan, and he wowed right then and there to train and protect him at all costs.

At the age of four Tsubasa started Toyatas training with intense physical training combined with the foundations of chakra control. But beyond training his body, Tsubasa trained his mind, training his memory and forced his to use his senses more than normally by for instance blindfolding him for a week or two. The mindset and beliefs engraved into Toyata mind, was to be observant at all times and never to let his guard down.

The Academy:
On his sixth birthday Toyata was enrolled in the academy, where he soon found himself slightly alienated by the other students and teachers, as they did not fully trust him as his father was an outsider from the Blood Mist as Kirigakure was called during his stay there.

Surprisingly this didn’t affect Toyata very much, because he had been taught that faith in anyone but family is potential fatal. Even though both he and the other student kept at arm’s length, there were no issues in communication and teamwork, and Toyata continue to evolve at this time. This progress did in his later years at the academy stall, this was mostly due to the fact that he had continued his training with his father and was thus ahead many of the other student in several fields. Especially concerning weaponry was Toyata superior to his fellow students as his father always stressed that it was important to master ones tools.

During his time at the academy he spent more and more time away from the class room and spent this time training by himself or with his father in a small valley outside the village. He returned to the academy a few years later and graduated as one of the top members in his class at age 15. Now the real world awaits and all of his training will be tested… will it be enough?

Roleplay sample:
Toyata sits calmly and watches the complex and beautiful movement and sound of nature, the small sparrows and other small birds chipping in the trees around him, the air dancing in the grass at his feet and the sun reflects the newly fallen raindrops in a seemingly endless different colors. Toyata closed his eyes and enjoys the feeling of the sun on his back, the wind in his hair and the sound of the trees gently swaying in the wind. In his mind an image start forming slowly taking the shape of a young falcon testing its wings, flapping from the nest in the top of an old oak and gently glides downwards towards a large stone, then altering course and lands in a big and lush green bush near the edge of a small lake. Toyata slowly opens his eyes and look towards the lake 50 meters ahead and look at the young falcon continuing to flap the light winds to build up muscle strength in them, so that one day, hopefully soon, it can race through the air like its parents.

Suddenly the wind changes direction and for a brief moment the area turns completely silent then hell breaks loose. Toyata might not have a dog’s sense of smell or a falcon’s eyesight, but he can the large pillar of smoke from the west, and the fire than causes it is coming towards his little safe haven at an alarming speed. Toyata quickly realizes that no natural fire would not move at such a fast rate, an odd sound from the lake now behind him, makes him react instantly. Forcing his body into a crouch spinning around while throwing three kunai at the sound with his left hand and drawing his katana with his right.

From the lake a single filthy bandit jumps up and onto the back with a saber drawn, he is able to block the first kunai and evade the second by swaying to his right, but the third hits his shoulder with a strange wet thump. He flinches in pain. Toyata wasting no time sprints forward making a left – right zig-zag a few meters in front of him, before making a two-handed slash at his throat, which partially decapitates the bandit. As the motionless body hits the ground, a small group of ragtag bandits emerge from the forest a hundred meters away with drawn weapons and sod on their clothes. Toyata quickly turns and dashes toward the village gates to inform the Jounin in charge of the gate that bandits are nearby and that they have started a forest fire as a diversion.
