Nickname: The Chionodokusa (Glory-of-the-Snow)

Appearance: Seto’s hair is black and silky and its length is past his ears, he cuts it short, but not too short, despite most members of his clan having longer hair. He keeps his bangs long, the ends just passing the irises of his eyes. The back of his hair is tied in a small lazy ponytail that sticks out over the forehead protector he wears around his neck. For shirts he wears a long-sleeve that is black and fits close to the shape of his thin body, over top of that he wears a baggy long-sleeved shirt. His pants are a faded/dark yellow with black stripes on either side, the ends are stuff into black strap boots with yellow lines that seem to continue the black stripe but end with arrows. Just below his eyes are two tattooed yellow dots connected by thin lines. On the subject of eyes, Seto's are yellow which is quite different compared to his clan's dark brown, but they are the eyes he gained from his father. It's easy to miss his Yuki clan traits as they only appear through his silky black hair and his near perfect skin, and of course his ice release, but that doesn't stop him from identifying as a member of the clan.
Aside from clothes, Seto has a scrawny build no matter how hard he tries to build muscles, he figures he'll develop them as he grows up. He stands at 5'5" at this moment and when he wears his boots he gains half an inch. He speaks in a soft and quiet voice which can constantly go unheard if there is a lot of noise in the area or if the listener isn't listening as closely as they should. Posture-wise Seto is quite alright at. He stands and sits straight, and his center of balance is near perfect. His skin is also quite perfect, its pale and clear complexion resemble a porcelain doll. Or ice, whichever one works. Forehead Protector: Seto wears his forehead protector around his neck, completely nulifying its true purpose of protecting foreheads.
Personality: Seto enjoys the smaller things in life. He enjoys sitting outside watching the rain fall on the grass and flowers around him and listening to the birds sing as they fly about in the rain. Some of his favourite pastimes, if napping out in a rainy field isn't an option, include sketching still-life and drinking smooth teas from cups he had collected over time. If there is anything he enjoys more than napping its seeing other people enjoy their lives with their friends and family. Coincidentally, Seto hates it when he sees someone having a bad time and is crying or having a fit over something that hadn't gone their way. When he see these people having a tough time he will stop whatever it is he is doing in an attempt cheer up and on said people, doing so fills him with bliss. However there are times when Seto cannot stop whatever it is he is doing due to ensuing battles or the likes. This fills the calm Seto with slight irritation because if it weren't for the battle causing more chaos he'd be around to create peace and serenity. He hates also being told to leave someone behind or being told to not help anyone, it's incomprehensible to his nature and moral standards.
As he was taught by his father and his cheating, untrustworthy ways, Seto learned to be kindhearted and accept anyone with a smile. He loves helping people with anything he can, be it chasing out bandits or doing the dishes - which by the way he is fantabulous at - he will do it. When approached by a girl, or anyone he likes in an affectionate way, he will become a nervous wreck, unable to word sentences properly and sweating profusely. Just as he is caring he is protective, so protective that he would silently have a mental breakdown if anyone were to step on some rare plant or squash a harmless bee. He is even willing to sit and listen to someone talk when they really need it and is open to offer his shoulder for whoever needs it. On that note, Seto is very quiet and manages to keep a straight face in any circumstance, his emotions only appearing in sweat or determined gaze.
When in battle Seto will go into a defensive stance, not willing to cause harm to his opponent - no matter who it is - until he has tried his hardest to convince said opponent. He will try his best to barter with his opponent, offer them money, his own life, the list goes on, but he will not give another person up to the opponent unless a plan has been predetermined to which he will follow with high hopes and strong trust. Things change though, sometimes people get hurt, sometimes people get killed, and when either of those happen Seto looses his cool in replace of shame and rage. Shame because he failed to protect the person, and rage towards himself and the opponent that had hurt the person. When he becomes enraged he fights head-on, letting loose his all his force and energy towards the opponent in a flurry of attacks, but because of his more supportive role in combat Seto is more likely get hurt than to actually deal any damage. Ultimately, Seto is careless in his rage, but he still holds the determination of revenge. If something were to happen to anyone in his care he would do anything in his power to make things right, if not then he would most likely blame himself and live with the guilt.

Combat Style: Seto doesn't like fighting, he's somewhat of a pacifist, but he has his exceptions - otherwise why would he be a ninja? Seto always takes a defensive stance, preferring to talk his way out of battles and/or give the opponent a chance to surrender or flee. Should his opponent choose to persist his attack then Seto will focus strictly on defense. He will stand his ground, blocking all attacks thrown at him with either kunai, jutsu, or taijutsu, but if his opponent is much more stronger than his either of those techniques then Seto with use his jutsu in a more offensive way and if that fails he will use his whatever jutsu he can to flee the battle.
Never is Seto seen being on the offensive side until someone innocent is in the mix. If the opponent were to take a hostage Seto will first calmly negotiate with the captor, offering food, money, and/or himself up in replace of the current hostage. In the event that his offers are completely disregarded he will move to acts of buffoonery and pranks in an attempt to lower the guard's guard to spring the hostage from wherever they may be. Of course most captivators aren't fooled by buffoonery and in which case aggression is mandatory. Sometimes the one captivated isn't some stranger, sometimes it's a friend, and if it's someone Seto truly cares about - which is almost anyone who wants to be his friend - he will give up anything to save them, including his life.

Restrictions: - Description: A trait given to ninja who possess an innate talent for the manipulation of clan based techniques and has trained thoroughly to improve their skill. Their power over the the clans abilities has become so considerable that the ninja is now considered a young prodigy by the clan elders. Because of this, the user's clan based attacks cost 20% (rounded up) less chakra to perform, as well as an increased power and size. Special Effect: Possessors of this Special Characteristic can also grant their own spin to their clan techniques, setting them apart and identifying them as Prodigys. Given the diversity of clans and clan abilities, such distinguishing marks are left to the user's imagination.
Name: Art Prodigy Rank: C Type: Social Based Prerequisites: - Training Requirements: A 600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: A ninja's life is never easy, and rarely gives them the opportunity to relax. During one such moment, a possessor of this SC, on a whim, picked up a sketchbook or a paint brush. A few hours of soothing, relaxing creating later, they find they actually have a knack for it. Or at the very least, someone will look at their drawing of a vase and say "Yup, that's a vase" rather than "That's a very absract portrait of the Hokage you have there."
THE BACKGROUND.
History: Seto was born in Kirigakure to a small family. It was just him, his mother, and his father for a while in their small house and their lives weren't perfect but they were comfortable. At this point Seto was quite young and honestly had no memory of this point at all. He did, however, had memories of his father's job of trading information for money, money he only gave a quarter of to the family, bringing in more trouble than it was worth.
One night, when Seto had been pretending to sleep in his room with hopes of seeing his father when he came home the house had been broken into. When the door was shoved open the boy believed that it was his father returning in another one of his drunken stupor, but when he sneaked out of his room and into the eating area where his mother had been reading just before she sent him to bed there was a loud commotion and a muffled scream. He knew his mother was in trouble as he heard many conversations, one of the voices being the quaking, panicked, voice of his mothers, the rest being deep and gruff, unrecognizable. When he heard the commotion he was too scared to do anything, he hadn't even seen what had happened, all the did was quietly return to his room and hid under his blankets.
After this unfortunate event Seto had been inspired to enroll into the academy of the village with high hopes of becoming capable of defending his family, with high hopes of being strong enough to defend his scum of a father and to protect his mother. As he progressed through his academy classes he began to realize that it wasn't just his family that had been suffering from unfortunate events, but every one and he wanted to save them all, he wanted to give them better lives no matter the cost.
More determined to achieve his goal of world peace Seto worked hard and studied for as long as he could. This paid off for Seto when he became able to create intricate flowers out of ice whenever he had free time. He gained the highest grades in his class, much to their disapproval, but it earned him the name of the flowers he loves to create out of ice: Chionodokusa. Yet, despite all of his accomplishments, his mother had taken him away from Kirigakure, across the waters, and to the country of lightning where they moved to Kumogakure - he hadn't seen his father since, not that is discouraged him. It in fact it convinced Seto to continue on the path of shinobi, and he had passed his academy exam in style and grace, despite the differing countries.
Roleplay Sample: Vyssini had been wandering aimlessly through the winding forest, enjoying the evening while it lasted. Yet as she wandered further and further she noticed the silencing air, distant sounds of hooves and carriages reaching her ears with ease. She could feel something was wrong and began speeding her way through the forest. The loud cracking of a falling tree followed by distressed whinnies and ragged howls made her ears twitch at the sudden break of silence, the smell of the dread wolves filled her nose as she drew near but in an instant the intoxicating smell of blood engulfed her senses with hunger. Forest wildlife may have provided a decent amount of blood for her to feed upon but it couldn't compare to the smell of human blood.
With a salivated mouth Vyssini leaped into the trees, bounding from branch to branch with a ferocious hunger. It was when she landed high in a tree bordering the road which a caravan occupied did she stop herself with a tight grip. Her nails dug into the bark of her perch as she watched the occurrences below. She smell the blood she hungered for, she could mark her prey and strike from above, but something kept her from diving onto her awaiting feast.
Watching from above she observed a dark-furred sphinx slay a dread wolf with a curved blade, but just as she was beginning to plan her strike a dark voice whispered loudly in the air. It sent chills through her body, but she kept a diligent eye on the ensuing battle below. The dark magic brought forth more dread wolves and just when Vyssini thought those mangy beasts would steal her meal the sphinx showed an act of authority, calling out to the men in battle to take partners to ensure survival. Even the gargoyle followed the lead of the cat, confirming the order and saying something about a princess.
High-class blood has always been tastier than most, she mused to herself with a crooked smile, her hunger for blood swirling around yet she refused to fall into the fray while the ominous air hovered around. Something was going to happen and she didn't want any part of it, not now anyways, not with so many things occurring at once but as she continued to watch the twenty guards pair up against the horde of wolves she was afraid she'd have to get entangled in the happenings if she were to get her meal. If only she could fight without any of them identifying her as a threat to the 'princess' said to be within the caravan.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Chakra Cost: 1CP per 5 clones
Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Chakra Cost: 1 (per 3 explosive notes)
Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)

Name: Hyōton Enchou | Ice Dome Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Element: Hyōton (Ice Release) Description: Hyōton Enchou is a ninjutsu technique used by the members of the Yuki clan. The user can quickly create an ice dome around their allies and themselves to act as a defense. It is strong enough to withstand the assault of many exploding tags at once, remaining almost undamaged. Chakra Cost: 6CP
Name: Hyōton Disuku | Ice Disk Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: Hyōton (Ice Release) Description: Hyōton Disuku is a ninjutsu technique used by the members of the Yuki clan. This jutsu turns the moisture particles in the air into an ice disk. They can be hurled with tremendous force at a target and are hard to dodge because of their transparency. They can also be strung together to spy on areas. They can also be used defensively by being used as a shield to deflect attacks below C-rank and basic thrown weapons. Chakra Cost: 5CP (per disk)
- Suiton Jutsu:
Name: Kokuun no Jutsu - Black Clouds Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Suiton (Water) Description: This jutsu creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil. Chakra Cost: 5 Name: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu - Water Clone Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: Suiton (Water) Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target, but none utilizing chakra. The range of the clone is limited however, it can travel no further than 10 meters from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will revert back into its natural water state. Chakra Cost: 7 Restrictions:
- No weapons, armor, or equipment can be replicated to have above C-rank quality.

If needed, the user can cancel the technique in just an instant. Chakra Cost: 8

Name: Reppushou - Gale Wind Palm Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: Fuuton (Wind) Description: Fuuton • Reppushou is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will send a strong gust of wind towards his/her target. When acting in conjunction with another thrown weapon, the wind can increase its power and deadliness. Chakra Cost: 5 Name: Kami Oroshi - Godly Wind from the Mountains Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fuuton (Wind) Description: The user will generate a whirling vortex of wind which he or she can send snaking towards his or her target. This wind can be used to help cause an explosive blaze when used with certain fire and earth techniques. Chakra Cost: 7 (2 per post)
- Village Jutsu:
Name: Kirigakure no Jutsu - Hidden Mist Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0 - 5m), Med (5 - 10m) Element: - Village: Kirigakure Description: This jutsu is developed and trained within Kirigakure as a village specific jutsu. After forming the needed hand seal, the user will place their hand over their head and cause a large amount of mist to gather. This mist is extremely difficult to see through from someone not of Kirigakure, who are used to looking through heavy mists, and are more able to do combat while within said mist. The jutsu involves kneading chakra into the mist, allowing the user to create extremely thick or thin levels of mist. Those with doujutsu or chakra sensing techniques are also able to see through this thick mist but without any aid, then you'll be blind within the mist. A C-Rank Fuuton Jutsu can dispel the mists. Chakra Cost: 4 (2CP)
Name: Kumogakure no Jutsu - Hidden Cloud Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0 - 5m), Med (5 - 10m) Element: - Description: Kumogakure no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilizing no element. A technique that imitates that of the Kirigakure no Jutsu, once the user has performed the required handseals they will be able to call upon a thick and heavy cloud that will appear almost out of nowhere. The cloud will be able to cover a ten metre radius around the user and only the user is able to sense where others lurk within the cloud. Those with doujutsu or chakra sensing techniques are also able to see through this thick cloud but without any aid, then you'll be blind within the cloud. If a C - Rank or above fuuton technique is activated, then the cloud will be blown away. Chakra Cost: 4
- Custom Jutsu:
Name: Kori no Chionodokusa no Hana - Chionodokusa Flowers of Ice Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Mid (5 - 10m), Far (10 - 15m) Element: Hyoton Description: The user creates 6 initial ice flowers that appear as chionodoxas (each flower is 1 inch) and are as sharp as kunai. These flowers are created in the air and when ready are launched toward the opponent controlled by the user's chakra (the aiming isn't exactly precise). When hit the flowers create small flesh wounds (0.5 inches deep), these ice flowers stays in the wound for 1 additional post before melting, causing discomfort and more pain. C-rank katon jutsu can start the melting process earlier, creating a smaller wound while melting in the same post, if katon jutsu is used against the flowers at a far enough distance the flowers can be completely melted before they reach their target. Chakra Cost: 6 (+1 ea. additional flower)
Name: Kori no Ryotei - Ice Path(Itinerary) Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Mid (8m) Element: Hyoton Description: The users, while walking on the surface of water or on damp ground, can send their chakra through the water towards the enemy's feet while creating a thin layer of ice along its path. When the jutsu reaches the opponent it will creat large ice crystals that trap their feet. The user, along with anyone else, can slip on the sheet of ice along the path of the attack. This move is extremely vulnerable to fire, and this move cannot be used against enemies in the air. Chakra Cost: 4 (+2 ea. post)
- Medical:
Name: Shindan Shuhou - Diagnosis Technique Rank: C Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: After performing the needed handseals, the user releases a pulse of chakra through the patient’s body. The pulse then returns through their chakra network back into the user’s palms, giving them a mental image of where the chakra network seems to be flaring or lowering. This can give the user a better idea of the location and injury type that has been inflicted. For use in offense, this technique is capable to present a map of the opponent’s chakra network on contact which can be used to determine chakra natures and levels. Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Kisoku Kuchidashi - Airway Interference Rank: C Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user will focus chakra to their hands and release it to either the throat, in order to loosen the air ways, or the chest, in order to help the lungs expand. This will help the user or the patient breathe easier. A bastardized use of this technique causes the airways to constrict making it much harder for the target to breath. This technique lasts one post without continuous contact. Chakra Cost: 6 [3CP for continuous use]
Name: Shousen no Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique Rank: C-A Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Shousen Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands. If the higher the medical ninja's rank is the quicker they are able to heal more critical and serious injuries. Injuries of equal rank may be healed in 1 post, and completely restored in 2. If choosing to heal a wound higher than the rank of the Shousen used, it requires 2 extra posts per rank. Thus C-rank Shousen healing an A-rank wound would require 5 posts to fully heal, while a B-rank wound would require 3 posts for instance. If healing a lower-ranked wound with a higher-ranked Shousen, the wound is fully healed in one post as opposed to two. Chakra Cost: C: 8CP (2 per post), B: 12CP (4 per post), A: 20CP (6 per post)

| - Your appearance needs to be much longer.
- Origin is the country your character hails from, not the village.
- Your combat style needs to be much longer. Try to make it at least 250 words.
- Your history needs more detail.
- You seem to be missing a lot of the Academy Jutsu.

| Don't worry about that, you are allowed to change your mind as you want.
- I'd like to ask you to expand a bit on your appearance and personality as neither reach even 300 words. For people that apply for clans, I often ask for a little bit more of hard work. I noticed you speak little if at all about his face and eyes in the appearance and that could then easily be used to fix up the word count. As for his personality, then it'd be nice to have a bit more to work with. What makes him rage, what does he like and dislike etc. Could you also separate the paragraphs so that it is easier to read them?
