Description: The human brain is specifically keyed to intake enormous amounts of sensory data and process them into a picture of the person's surroundings. Shinkyōkankaku allows Inoshi to compartmentalize his sensory nerves, increasing their ability tenfold. Normally, it takes considerable effort to focus on one sense. A person can sniff the air in a room, but they can still hear, see, and feel the room simultaneously, taking away neural energy from the olfactory cortex and nasal neurons; essentially, the more focus on a single sense, the more potent it'll be. The synesthete can basically prioritize one sense over the others, funneling most of the brain's energy into collecting and processing sensory data for that one sense. For example [with the sense of smell being the soul focus], instead of smelling a chicken dish, Inoshi can smell the fifteen ingredients separately, the freshness of the individual ingredients; a strong acid presence could tell him how much or what kind of citrus sauce is being used.

Description: Upon activation, Inoshi can over-stimulate the pineal gland, causing a drug-like feeling of peace in his victims. Those affected see lights, holy visions, and are thus easier to influence. However, the over stimulation and high release of chemicals from within the target's body is very addictive, and most will find themselves needing to go through a state of withdrawals when left without this jutsu's effect for extended amounts of time.
