Death is inevitable. Vide
PostSubject: Death is inevitable. Death is inevitable. EmptyTue 18 Feb 2014, 10:12 pm

This was getting tedious now. Someone clearly hated politicians. Tenshi did not want to be known as the man who only killed people in the world of power, but clearly this was going to be his reputation if he stuck around the water country for much longer. Still, he had come to learn one thing. These people often carried a large sum of money or their persons. In itself, this was a blessing. He could not wait to find out what this one was carrying. Gold from a far off land, a special weapon or just plain old money. Any would be perfect and after all this man was in the world of politics, there was no doubt that he would try and bribe his way out of death. But there would be no point in even accepting this money, his target would die any way. It was going to be hard, he would have to keep up with the man through the mist, then make it back through the gate in the dead of night. He did however have a plan. Go out just behind them claiming to be going on a mission. Then when his target was dead he would run back claiming I forgot some of my equipment’.

According to the clock it was three. The tip off had suggested that he would be leaving at around five in the morning, to prevent questions. All he had to do was get to the front gate before they did, leave and hide in the mist. However he would to do this once he had seen them leave. Since Tenshi had slept through most of the day he was feeling ok. But he had made an especially strong cup of coffee just incase. It had taken quite some force to get it into his system. The taste was horrendous. Since he was already completely ready the Nukenin could only wait. He would rather stay in here than out in the ice cold mist. The only things that he did not currently have were his weapons ready, they were leaning against the wall of his room. His plan was to use Ten no Hoshi and some new jutsu. They would be what killed this politician in particular. In his possession was a brand new war fan, he would have liked to use this but he knew no jutsu that could kill a man for it. Or any jutsu at all for that matter. However he did have jutsu that utilise the Raiton element, which could indeed kill a man. These were what he would be using on this day.

Resting down in a chair in the corner of the room he leant over and picked up his book. It was the same book that he had been reading the night that he met Krima. A history of Kirigakure, but his mind was suddenly on the women. It was a shame that he had not seen her since, he would have loved to. Sometime their paths would cross again, even if it was on the field of battle he would look forward to it. There was something that told him there was more to her than met the idea, he would find out why eventually. As well as this he was certainly glad that she had not recognised him from any bingo books and whatnot. He certainly was a lucky guy in that respect. If she had then he would certainly have been killed by the shinobi of Kirigakure. He had to admit that this idea had some appeal to it. See how many people you can kill before dying. This would have been surprisingly enjoyable. But it certainly would not have been for everyone. Only strange, psychopathic types, such as himself. Finishing his chapter the Nukenin put the book down, it was time.

Clambering out of his chair Tenshi slid in his favourite weapon across his back. This would be the only weapon that he would take today. Others would weigh him down or give him away When he was powerful enough to wield a better sword the man was going to need to get a good one, one that could change length. If this idea was completed then he would be able to essentially shoot someone with a sword. Possibly the best way of assassinating someone ever, he would have to get a weapon that could do this. Or he would find a weapon that was able to absorb attacks. One of these two options, or both of them, would come into his possession. There were so many things that he aspired to, so many people to kill, so many weapons to get. It was going to be hard but by the time that he died the man planned on finishing anything he set out, no matter how large or the task. If it was a Kage or a Genin, no one would escape is wrath, or the wrath of his customer. Because even if there were only two people left in this world someone will want the other person dead. He did not care what they had done but he wanted to get paid for their death. Turning to face the door Tenshi sighed, hopefully he would not be stopped.

Stepping out of the door and making his way down the hall way the man was level headed. He felt nothing. No excitement, no worries, no anything. All he could do was walk onwards. Put one food in front of the other and repeat until he was at the top of a staircase. From here he sped down taking two steps at a time. Such was the custom these days. He was always trying to get to the next floor as soon as he possibly could. On his way down the staircase he passed a black haired beauty, sending a wink and a smirk her way she giggled, pupils dilating. As soon as she was out of the way he went back to his normal, serious face. He hated people. Especially when they thought that he actually cared. Once he reached the floor bellow the Nukenin swiftly strode across the wood beneath his feet. It was too early for a large amount of people to be out. Clearly this woman had just been sneaking out. Hopefully there would be a shop or two open. That way he would be able to purchase cigarettes, just as he had promised himself a day or two ago. When he had met Atsu. It was going to be a fun day, he could feel it. Tenshi could only hope that he actually enjoyed the feeling of the cancerous stick. He had witnessed a number of people smoking and had thought that it looked fun. He could certainly see the appeal. Within a few minutes he would be able to try it out for himself. It was to be a momentous occasion.

Out on the street the cold morning air blew his hair about. It was by his estimate ten past four. The earliest shops opened at five. Still, he could always steal. That was how desperate he was. But he had to stay on target. His idea of smoking must be set aside from the target. Fuck the target. Was the only thing that he could think. Tenshi tried to ignore it but could not. He was going to break into the first shop he found. Grab a packet of death and walk, simple. Mist obscured his vision, but still he walked. Eventually he made it on to the main road. From here it was just a straight walk down to the edge of the village, the gates. Luckily the high street was also home to a number of shops. But it was stupid attempting to break into one of the front stalls. He was going to have to go down a side alley to a place without a good lock. There was no doubt that there would be a number of them. Since he had enough time he might as well grab whatever money he could find as well.

As he got to near the edge of the village Tenshi ducked into a side street. From here it was a straight walk forwards then to the left twice until he came to a block of houses. Next to this was a store that seemed to have nothing but a lock and a wooden door. Taking the sword from his back the Nukenin cracked the door open in three strikes. But he had been loud and had to make sure that he was quick. Turning the light on to make sure no one was around he went onwards. He had all the time in the world. It would just be easier to get there earlier. Even then it would be good to get out as quickly as possible. At the very back of the room there was a selection of confectionary, cigarettes and a box where the money was stored. Picking up a packet of tubes he checked inside. There they were, lined up like soldiers. Pocketing the box he went over to where he assumed the money was stored. A box chained to the wall with a key. It was pointless trying to break the lock. So instead he got the hilt of his blade and brought it down hard on the centre of the box. After two powerful strikes it cracked open. A collection of Ryo notes were bundled up at the bottom, he took only them, leaving the coins. They were almost pointless.

Running to the exit he got outside as quickly as he could and put the door back in as best shape as possible. He went back the way he came and ended up on the main road once more. It had been a miracle that no one had seen him but after all, it was only half four in the morning. Taking out a cancer stick from the box he placed it in his mouth, took out Ace and lit. Breathing in the poisonous smoke he blew out. He felt nothing. It gave him no rush, it made him feel no better, no worse either. Another drag was taken and again their was no change. As he made it down the road he carried on. Still unable to find any enjoyment. It just made him feel dull and dead inside. That did not mean that he would stop. He finished his first one in minutes and swiftly moved onto the next. By the time this one was done he was at the gate.

’Stop, who are you and what business do you have leaving the village?” A voice barked.

Tenshi had been expecting guards. He had already sorted out what he would say in his head. ”I have been sent on a mission by the Mizukage. Sorting out some diplomatic problems over in Kumogakure.”

Now, it was after this that he had been assumed that he would be waved on through. He was wrong. ”I was unaware that anything was wrong. Do you have any papers”

It was at times like this that Tenshi was glad for his spontaneous thinking. ”You were unaware because it has not yet been released to the public. Tell anyone and you will likely be killed. No they never gave me any. Now I demand that you let me through unless you want to face the Mizukage.”

Clearly this threat had worked as a worried expression came over the face of the guard. He was quickly waved through. Fucking idiot. Tenshi thought. As he made his way down the path he quickly ducked behind a bush, a nice hiding place as long as the were no sensory ninja around. Now all he had to do was wait, wait for his target to arrive.

Tenshi was still crouched behind the same bush half an hour later. He was bored. There was nothing to do but wait. So far he had avoided attention by not smoking. Apparently every cigarette you smoked took a day from your life time. But he was going to die eventually, death is inevitable. Screw it. He thought. Taking his third straight out of it’s box he put it in his mouth and lit the end. A warmness spread through his body. The Nukenin made up his mind, he did enjoy it and would certainly carry on. Still he could taste nothing, people would always go on about how bad the fast of tobacco was. But he was unable to feel it in his mouth. Putting his middle and index finger around the base of the tube he took it out of his mouth. He could only pray that that would turn up eventually. It would be deathly boring if they were not her within ten minutes or so. Also, the longer he had to wait the more likely he was to be spotted or found. Especially if they saw the smoke. Taking in a lung flu of tar filled smoke the Nukenin opened his mouth and let it billow up to the heavens.

Finally they were here. Or at least, who he assumed were the correct people. A horse and carriage pulled up next to the gate and a shady looking man was at the front. Tenshi craned his neck in attempt to get close enough to hear.

”This carriage belongs to the politician Matsunaka, Hiroto. I recommend that you let us leave immediately.”

To this a tired sounding grunt was answered and the cart went on ahead. Trotting at a slow pace. Putting out the cigarette against the side of a tree Tenshi began to creep. He was going to follow them for about a mile or so and then strike. Keeping low the man broke into the fastest run he could possibly do in his current position. Flitting in between the trees that decorated the side of the main road that led away from Kirigakure. After five minutes of keeping in the shadows Tenshi moved closer in on his target. By this time he was just behind the carriage. A whistle came from the front of the vehicle. Whoever the driver was he clearly was focusing only on the road ahead. Now was his chance. Sneaking around to the very back Tenshi sprinted and jumped. Hid fingers dug into the ledge at the top. Pulling himself up the Nukenin crept lightly on the balls of his feet. Along the short he went until he was right above the driver. He was going to have to be careful about this. For all he knew there would be guards inside with his target. His best bet would be to kill the driver and use some sort of jutsu that would sort out the two inside. From there he would leave. Hopefully the horse would manage to fall of a ridge somehow. Or sink into a body of water.

Drawing the sword from his back Tenshi readied it, steadying his breath. Positioning his blade to face where the vertebrae meets the base of your skull. He jumped. The blade went straight through. Cleaving the head from body. It was truly a beautiful sight. A violent lurch sent the decapitated head flying from reach. It bounced over the edge of the seat and rolled away into some trees. An angry shout came from inside the closed space behind him. He had to act fast. Sheathing his sword the Nukenin summoned chakra into his hand. Great Explosion. Opening the small window that allowed the driver to talk to his passengers he hurled the ball through and closed it. A confused shout came from inside this time and then, detonation. Two cries in agony came, one far more higher than the other. So there was two people, at this time they would both ve in intense pain. It was tim to strike.

Climbing from his perch the Nukenin swung around and opened the side door. All the while the horse was still moving at a leisurely pace. Completely oblivious to what was going on. Drawing his blade from his back the Nukenin turned his attention to the bigger of the two men. By the process of deduction he had decided that he was the guard. Mainly that he was the larger of the two but also because of the remains of what he had been wearing. This would have been obvious of course if it was not for his clothes being singed off by the jutsu. Bringing his sword down on the man’s back he repeatedly stabbed. Blood spattered everywhere. The politician still too mesmerised to move. Turning the guard over onto his back Tenshi set about caving in his chest cavity. From here he reached in and using all his force pulled out the first organ he could find. His left lung. From there he made his way over to the cowering man in the corner. His hand dripping with blood. The lung quivering from where the man had taken his last breath.

Tenshi looked down mercilessly at the screaming politician. What a waste of good oxygen, no one that reacted like this in the face of death deserved to be born in the first place. That said, the sight of a man coming at you with a large sword and a lung in his right hand would be quite menacing. Still, in your last few minutes on this earth one should not cry or snivel. Crouching down in front of the man the Nukenin spat in his face. Just as the Politician was about to start up in protest the man dropped his sword, grabbed the man’s jaw and stuffed the Lung his mouth. It was a hilarious sight, especially to a man of his mental disposition. He could not help it, Tenshi cracked up and laughed for a number of seconds. Then his facial expression went deadly serious. It was an effective contrast. He had managed to make the politician shit himself even more. Picking up his sword the ex-Kumo shinobi turned away from his target. Swinging his sword he struck side of the man’s face with the flat part of the sword. His head was sent crashing into the wall of the carriage. A scream was stifled by the lung.

It was now time, time to end it. Tenshi knew this. He had to, then he would make a daring escape, not before sending the horse off to drown in a lake.  Honestly the Nukenin could not be bothered to look for the head of the man that had been completely decapitated. Still, it was best just to get this over with. Laughing at the politician the murderer swung the sword. He loved having the power to end a life. It was an ability that everyone possessed, but only few used it. The man he was attempting to kill raised his arm. Metal slid through the flesh with ease. But it stopped at the bone. A ear splitting scream followed. Drawing the sword across to take it out a splash of blood fell on the floor of the carriage. No doubt that a majority of the veins in the arm had been severed. Still, Tenshi was not taking any chances. Placing the blade agains the man’s neck he pressed in. It was enough to cut it open. The pain was too great, the man passed out, since he would soon die of blood loss the Nukenin jumped out. It was over.

Running next to the horse he whacked it. This sent the beast in to a frenzy as it galloped off in a pace. Hopefully it would get lost in the mist. Or it would end up in a river. He could not care less at this point. It was another mission done, another success. Taking a cigaret from his packet the man clenched it between his teeth. From there he took out his lighter and he set the end of his smoke on fire. A large puff followed. He turned back to the direction of the village. From there he put one foot in front of the other. All he wanted to do now was sleep.
