Special Characteristic Ideas

Signature Technique
Forgoing casual training practice in the three areas of combat, the shinobi has chosen to focus most of their time and energy into advancing their skill in a single technique which then becomes their most frequently used in battle. This type of specialization grants the ninja increased versatility with the technique, reduces its' cost by 30%, and makes deriving techniques easier to master. As a part of this advantage, the ninja may acquire up to 2 approved variations of the technique without EXP cost.

Chakra Aura
Many people have vibrant, stunning personalities. Others can be colder than a Yuki's heart. Whatever the case, these people have personalities of such extremes, it even influences their chakra. While giving it no particularly special features, morbid individuals may find their chakra to carry a blackened tinge, carefree and happy ones may be surprised to find they emit a yellow glow, and those who are quick to anger might find a red surprise reminiscent of a Bijuu host.

Yukibane
The shinobi has had sufficient encounters with Yuki Clan members to warrant extreme hatred for any and all carriers of the bloodline. They are fixated on their grudge to the point of obsession and will settle for nothing less than absolute extermination of what they see as a hateful existence. In battle, their chakra color instantly becomes dark and filled with thoughts of reveling in hatred and slaughter.

A swift ranged attack where the user swings their leg at a target after coating it in chakra, releasing a blunt crescent of chakra in the arc that the limb was swung. The chakra crescent acts as a non-cutting force that is able to push back and buffet enemies or send them reeling, pending on whether the arc is given a horizontal or vertical motion. While generally ideal for close-range, it has mid-range potential, though the power and speed reduces with travel.

Ninpou; Hachi Shokushu - Four Tentacles
Rank: C
______________________________________This jutsu is developed and trained within Kirigakure as a village specific jutsu. After performing the necessary hand signs the user will manipulate water from a nearby source, causing it to surround their bodies with water and create four tentacles that range up to 3 meters in length. These tentacles are used to defend against small projectiles. Anything bigger than a shuriken/senbon/kunai will go through the tentacles when coming into contact, though their speed will be highly reduced to the point of dropping out of the other end. Keep in mind the tentacles can be used defensively as well as offensively as they can be used in close combat situations to grab the opponent. Though their density will not be able to stop an incoming punch/kick or even a close range weapon, it can be used to greatly decrease the attack's momentum and speed. Each tentacle is about 30 centimeters thick, or about one foot.

Ninpou; Fugu Tate - Puffer Fish Shield

______________________________________This jutsu is developed and trained within Kirigakure as a village specific jutsu. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will cause a fast acting shield of water to be drawn and created from a nearby water source; if there is enough moisture in the air, they will be able to complete it with that alone. The shield can defend numerous people and is very durable. The shield takes the form of a sphere that wraps around those it is protecting. Because of the shield's form, it divvies the weight and force of incoming attacks along the whole surface, thus making it extremely durable. Piercing jutsu are strong against this jutsu, as long as they are of the same rank or higher than this defensive ninjutsu. More blunt forces are highly ineffective. Taijutsu attacks are rendered almost completely useless, unless they are used at a B rank level, and focus their attack to one area, like a piercing attack, such as a punch or kick. Earth ninjutsu are able to break through this shield at the D rank due to elemental weaknesses and strengths.

Ninpou; Mizu Funshutsu - Water Eruption
Rank: BThis jutsu is developed and trained within Kirigakure as a village specific jutsu. After the formation of the needed hand seals, the user will place their palms against the ground in order to send a large amount of chakra into the ground around them. This suiton chakra will  create water that will rise like a huge puddle over a span of ten meters. The puddle is no more than a couple of inches deep, but can be used to more easily pull off water ninjutsu, as well as make the battlefield slippery.

Baku Suishouha - Bursting Water Collision Waves
Rank: BSuiton • Baku Suishouha is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will expel water from his/her gullet. This will then expand into a large volume of water. User is left vulnerable when using this technique, and it requires an entire post to create a pool of water. 3 posts can mimic a lake.
