| Inuzuka IshaTHE INFO. Name: Inuzuka Isha Nickname: Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: Isha considers herself as fun to look at as she is to be around, but she is prone to overestimating such things. There are two things first noticed by those who lay their senses upon Isha, and at whispering distance the first is not her appearance. Instead it is the aroma of earth which seems to linger upon her, as though a bath was the last thing on her mind. While she does not exactly stink in any offensive manner, she smells distinctly unclean, as though she was rolling about in some earthly depression filled with age old dust and loose dirt. Of course any eyes could have assessed this as well, even from a distance. She is covered from head to toe in smudges of dirt and grass stains both fresh and old and her clothing is in no better condition. From head to toe, however, she was an interesting girl to get a look at.
Her eyes are a brilliant green, the color of summer and life, and matched well with her grass tinted hair. Whether the green is her natural hair color, or a result of actual grass stains is to be debated, however the short and slightly tangled tresses shone with the same green as her eyes. While it gave some likeness to the flora of the forests, the long and red Inuzuka triangles marking under each eye betray her for something much more bestial. She is often mistaken for being younger than she is, with no help remedying this illusion coming from the carefree, whimsical, and outright irresponsible demeanor she carries.
The blue tunic might have been her sole possession for how it was ripped, stitched, and ripped again. It sat upon her like so many tatters of recycled cloth, but it covered her well from shoulders to knees. It was cinched tighter around her waist with a bit of black cord, nothing special but it certainly did the job. Atop it was a simple white cloth, a tabbard with no decoration which served only to add white to her front. As it turned out, white was the real theme behind her appearance, and seeing her without her cape is as rare as seeing her without her hat.
A mask, and not so much a hat, the thing is just worn tucked up on her head more often than not. Attached to the mask is a long and wide patch of thick white fur, which covers her green hair and gives her the same furry appearance as the very large dog which seems to loom near by with great consistency. The mask atop her head bears a pair of polished and fire hardened ears perked up like a jackal's and help to add to her canine facade. Over her shoulders hangs her cape, matched in the same fur as her mane and hanging in thick fur and tough leather just past her knees. It was a short cape, considering the girl's small size, but it did help her match her companion. Mask and cape aside, Isha's appearance is quite distinctive, but dressed as she is she is completely unforgettable.
Her approach to life is no easier to dismiss from mind, and every bit as visual. Isha wears her heart on her sleeve, and her every emotion can seen pouring through in almost any casual situation. Her eyes are always alight with mirth and curiosity, peering through shadows and at strangers with no hint of aggression. Instead she seems much as a puppy might, dirty and adorable, and for the most part harmless. Another illusion, or delusion for those who know Inuzuka mentality. Still, the vibrant zeal with which Isha lives her life gives her a radiance of positive energy. Care free happiness pours off her whenever there is not a fight to win. When there is a fight to win, the care free goes out the window and and only the happiness remains.
There is no doubt why, even a first glance at her smile can spy the sharp inuzuka canines in her mouth. Her hands are obvious as well, her fingernails each an inch long and drawn out naturally to jagged but razor sharp points. If not for soft leather boots even her toenails would seem no less intimidating, but the simple shoes on her feet spare the casual observer from such a sight. Instead they see only her natural weapons, laid paradoxically beside a genuine mirth and endless amount of cheer and excitement. Forehead Protector: Worn on her forehead, though often concealed by her mask.
Personality: Isha is certianly an odd duck when it comes to fitting in with civilized society, however she's not put off by that fact. Instead she seems to revel in her uniqueness, and is more than pleased to explain to anyone who wants to challenge her why the woods are way better than the city. In spite of her persistent lack of manners and protocol and generally talking way to much, Isha still manages to upset some of the more demanding people out there. While she does host an impressive array of character flaws, the general consensus regarding Isha is still quite positive. Her opinion on outsiders leads her to enjoy the company of just about anyone, although sometimes such enjoyment comes at the cost of constantly pestering and testing the temper limitations of angry jounin.
There are a good deal of contradictions at work which define different aspects of Isha's personality. Her positive outlook on life allows her to take absolute pleasure in many of the simplest things in life, among the simplest things she takes advantage of is a good nap. At almost any hour Isha can be found basking on the branches of some tree, well asleep and just living her life in the dream world. Even when there's 'work' to be done, Isha has no qualms about settling down with a yawn and just napping away a few hours. This leads many to see her as lazy, but that is not necessarily true. As often as she can be found napping, she can also be found avoiding her duties just to climb buildings and trees, or run around chasing her dog all over the woods. While this might lead some to believe she is made of boundless energy, that is also not quite true.
In truth, Isha is just a girl of impulse, and does preciously what she wants to do at any given moment of life. This might lead people to believe she is some manner of riotous criminal, but in fact that is also far from the truth. Inuzuka Loyalty runs through her as thick as her canine campanion. Betrayal is something she could never willingly commit, and when it comes to friends and family Isha is willing to dedicate herself to their cause with an endless spirit of enthusiastic fanaticism. Of course, this is because on the inside Isha is just a two legged dog, and this is the single truth which ties her together a bit more. It's her sense of Loyalty which rule over almost every aspect of her life. Isha doesn't really have many motivations of her own, no real ambition. Instead Isha exists only to see her friends get what they want, and to be a major factor in helping them achieve it.
Her sense of loyalty is only a piece of her canine mentality, the rest comes with the tree climbing, the running, and the napping. These are the things she does when her friends don't need her, when no one is depending on her getting the job done. Meaningless missions are, unsurprisingly, meaningless to Isha, and when tasked with something unimportant to the village, she tends to just let it pass by the waysides. Many a cat has remained missing when Isha had no personal tie to the owner of the cat, but none of her friends cats remain missing for more than an hour. While it may seem like she might not care about her village, that is also far from the truth. Important missions involving rescuing citizens, or protecting the public bring out Isha's inner beast, and she takes to them with the same glee that she does when battling enemies of her family.
Clan: Inuzuka
Nindo: Survive at all costs, unless a friend is in danger.
THE NINJA. Origin: Fire Country Affiliation: Konoha Rank: Genin Specialities: Taijutsu/Ninjutsu Elemental Affinities: Doton/Fuuton Combat Style: Isha's combat style is as brutal as it needs to be to win, and as subtle as it needs to be to succeed. She has a varied and mixed approach to a fight, but almost always starts off by testing her opponents limitations. She is fearless and will launch rapid but light assaults at her opponent, forcing them to expose some of their fighting style, so that Isha can think up a sure fire assault to finish things. This means in one instant Isha may seem a wild monster attacking haphazardly, but in the next she will fall still and cunning, and bait her enemies into a trap. This predatory instinct for assessing one's prey before bringing them down makes her highly effective in a fight, while her array of fighting tools makes her just as effective in winning them. Highly skilled in the Taijutsu of her family, she uses tooth and nail to devastating effect in tearing through exposed flesh. She is no slouch at a distance, able to manifest her elements in an attempt to batter down opponents with gusts of wind, or crush them beneath crumbling spires of stone and dirt.
When a fight first starts, Isha will almost always keep her mask on for fear of poisons or other dangerous gasses which may assault her senses. Instead of relying directly on the Inuzuka teachings of her past, she uses a kunai to keep her opponents on their toes while she and her canine companion test the waters of her opponents defenses, and offenses. She makes fast probing attacks to her enemies flanks while Gizmo plays the part of distraction, each time together working to wear her opponents down. She fatigues much less slowly than other shinobi, and so a battle of attrition will almost always go in her favor. Like a dog she will pick at her opponents legs and sides before a frontal assault is considered.. but when it is possible Isha strikes hard and fast. Casting aside her kunai, Isha can snap into her Four Legs style in an instant, and turn herself into the savage predator she loves.
Her overwhelming speed can sometimes make her a handful for even higher ranked shinobi. She pairs this speed with her fast moving Inuzuka techniques to strike from unexpected angles and then be far enough away the next instant to mitigate any incoming counter attacks. These strikes, though light in strength, use the sharpness of her claws to tear through her opponents flesh none the less. Her jaws are even more terrifying, capable of tearing mouthfuls of flesh from bone as easily as any true predator might to their prey, though the difficulty in biting someone in combat makes them much less of a threat than her sharp claws. Paired with Gizmo forcing opponents to turn their back on Isha, the Inuzuka approach to combat is never to be underestimated.
It is not flawless, of course, and when it comes to distance Isha is quick to switch things up. Wind and Earth, she thinks, are a perfect combination of elements, one ephemeral and one corporeal. Wind is her favorite for ranged attacks, though those are quite rare. Earth is a much more common choice for her, as it lets her take full advantage of the fact that she can not fly. Instead she swims as needed, and summons her walls when convenient. While these are viable options for her, it is clear in her fighting style that only as a last resort will Isha resort to ranged combat, and she almost always looks for the fastest line into her opponent, for close quarters combat.

THE BACKGROUND. History:
- Spoiler:
Early Childhood: Isha's arrival onto the planet was heralded by no angels trumpets, no fanfare of importance or city wide elation. She came in quietly on a winter's night years ago, after only giving her mother minor difficulties in labor. She was born healthy and hale, and though she was peaceful at first, the moment she started crying seemed to set off a trend which would cause her parents little more than trouble for years to come. Among the Inuzuka clan childhood is not the same as it is for outsiders. Hunting, fighting, playing and getting into trouble are high on the list of activities which tend to consume the majority of most days for the wild children of the Inuzuka, and Isha was no exception to those rules. Instead she was the personification of such ideals, and took to the life of wild and woods like a match to dry tinder, and has spent her life since birth consuming all of nature in her blazing curiocity and drive to explore.
As all who personify so much of their clan's stereotypes, Isha was a standout in her clan. She was a sore thumb when it came to settling down, and when most children were willing to sit still and listen to their elders speak lessons of natural wisdom and predator cunning Isha was little more than a huge distraction. Assaulting her classmates with bites and playful scratches, she was always wanting to play and gain mastery of her small body. Where as most Inuzuka are born to eventually find their ways into fight, with strong muscle, fast reflexes, and enough size to overpower most opponents, Isha was most certainly the runt of her litter. All through her life this had become her nickname, and even to this day Isha resents anyone calling her chibi. While it was a common nickname as a child, few that know her could ever describe her as a runt. Instead she has a become a giant among her clan, and well known for her die hard attitude, and the uncanny ability to force her small body to act as though it were much larger.
It wasn't until she was close to her academy days that Isha earned her nickname of Giant, but she was working towards it each day and each night. Never the bottom of her class, Isha took to other children with sadistic mirth, biting, clawing, pushing and shoving the other children as often as they did the same to her. It was no fight, nothing negative, it was just the feral instinct, the inner dog, coming out. When Isha was finally introduced to her so called companions, it did not fare quite as well with her canine friends. Indeed, upon first meeting the younger pups of the new generation of Inuzuka dogs, Isha was far to much for them. With no sense of being gentle, no willful control over her own strength, Isha toppled over the small pups, bit them, and even managed to fling them quite a distance from time to time. This did not quite jive with the older members of the clan, nor the parents of the pups, and Isha was often scolded for her behavior. Needless to say the nay-saying of her elders never prevented her from putting 100% into everything she did, and these sessions of frustrated adults trying to teach the wild child some discipline fell on deaf ears.
Growing up wild, Isha was the last of her family to find their partner; the pup that would be the first to travel with them, and teach them how to interact with canine companions. None of the pups at the time could quite keep up with Isha due her to knack of biting ears, pulling tails, and generally being far to rough with her friends than was reasonable. She was the runt, after all, and she had something to prove! When she was about 7 years old she still did not have her companion, and the adults grew somewhat worried. They found their solution quite simply, and instead of sticking her with one of the younger puppies, they gave Isha a foul tempered brute from a previous generation, which had also posed to aggressive to pair up with a child. One might have expected they'd have matched personalities quite well and made a perfect team, however it did not turn out that way in the beginning.
Instead, the two froze upon meeting each other, and no sooner had Isha bared her teeth and crouched forward to pounce, than the year old dog snarled and leapt much faster. Taken off guard Isha found herself on her back with a massive beast atop her, glistening fangs moving in on her throat quickly. They never found purchase for the watchful Inuzuka elders tore the two away from each other before harm could be done. While this might have seemed an abysmal failure, it was the first time Isha had ever lost to a dog. This gave her a profound amount of respect for the yearling, and she insisted upon further interaction with Gizmo. After debate the adults agreed it wasn't a terrible idea, and the two were brought together once more. Instantly the two locked eyes once again, however things went slightly different.
Gizmo snarled when Isha exposed her teeth, and the adults instantly tensed to intervene again. Isha, however made no attempt attack the dog. Instead she growled a high pitched challenge, and the dog once more leapt for the kill. In a single deft motion Isha crawled forward and pressed herself low to the ground as the dog pounced, and maneuvered quickly beneath it. Coming up she raked the dog with her sharp fingernails, and though she tore through fur the injury to the animal was only superficial. Surprised the dog yelped and spun on its back legs, twisting to snap its massive jaws down at the child, but isha only jumped back. The dog was only off balance for a moment, and Isha sprang forward not to claw, but to slam her lesser weight against the canine. If she was larger the attack might have worked, but instead she hit the dog like some brick wall coated in fur, and almost bounced right off the beast. Gizmo, amused but still aggressive snaped at her again, and managed to catch a flailing arm.
The next moment the fight was ended, and the large Inuzuka dog was pulled forcibly away from Isha. Gizmo's attack had still accomplished all he had wished, and blood had been drawn. This marked the begining of a great friendship between Isha and Gizmo, and though it required adult supervision, it was while being supervised that the elders realized the runt they'd all called tiny, had the heart of a giant. The wild beast had found a partner with another, and gradually both of the opponents stopped trying to kill each other. Violence gave way to play, and the two of them became an inseparable pair, though each for different reasons. Gizmo respected the wild side of Isha, her willingness to wallow in mud, to suffer scrapes and cuts without even noticing them, and to scamper around through thorn bushes and brambles as readily as a dog with an actual fur coat. For Isha it was all about prowess, and in her eyes Gizmo was the strongest dog she'd ever met.
Late Childhood: After being paired up with her canine companion, Isha was at last ready to start the real learning of an Inuzuka. While her previous years helped her hone her beastial instincts and master use of her legs, arms and teeth, it was at about eight and a half years old where Isha began to really learn how to fight. Before even the academy years the Inuzuka must learn the secrets of thier clan's particular technique, and being raised among dogs is a key too it. Having honed her natural instincts to match those of nature's most tenacious of predators, it was a small step to start focusing on chakra and how it acted with the body. She didn't learn much of her elements in these days, however each morning, noon and night seemed to focus on constant supervised play with Gizmo. Instead of keeping them apart, however, the two were able to play rough, without harming each other. Only Gizmo's tough coat kept him safe, though it was enough to deal with Isha's fingernails, though to less effect against her teeth. Gizmo himself, being a dog and loyal to the end, simply held back his aggression and the sharpness of his teeth, and gave her only painful nips and the occasional firm bite. It wasn't anything the Inuzuka were not used too, nor a problem for the medics in the family. Inuzuka are well used to dog bites.
Fighting against the superior strength of her canine proved troublesome when they began their training in earnest. She could not just overpower the large dog, so she was forced into thinking fast, and being very light on her feet. Being still quite the runt in these years, speed did come naturally with her small and light frame. She was agile to begin with, but by the time she was keeping pace with Gizmo she was built of speed and claws. The Four Legs fighting style was introduced over time as she fought with instructors pointing out the movements of the dog she was constantly begin beaten by. The posture came quite naturally to her, and having a low center of gravity already, she excelled in the fast movements of the style. Crawling was just like climbing the ground, and very few could ever hope to match the raw talent Isha showed for climbing everything from trees to walls. Scampering on hands and feet improved both Isha's talent for crawling beneath things, but also improved her pushing ability. Instead of just relying on her weight, positioning and chakra came together to finally allow her to get the better of her companion.
The first victory was bliss for Isha, and she did not stop there. She didn't grow lax, Gizmo wouldn't have allowed that. Neither ever had the advantage over each other, and soon instead of fighting each other for improvement the two were brought out into the wilds to hunt down larger things. These things were made of meat, and often covered in furs or scales. They were monsters, each one, but even at a young age a spirited Inuzuka and her companion can fell many foes. Isha flourished in the years in which she spent almost all time wandering the world with elders in her clan, seeking out prime species for game, and bringing home large amounts of meat to feed her human and canine family. Learning her jutsu came naturally, and by the time she was learning the Gatsuga, she and her companion were already stalking and striking as one. While Gizmo harrassed the prey's legs Isha tore for sides, back in lightning fast hit and run strikes. She litteraly ran circles around her prey, assaulting any exposed flank and sinking in with chakra enhanced claws and fangs.
Over and over Isha was brought out on these ranging hunts and each time Isha distinguished herself among other hunters. Even large and dangerous game became something Isha threw herself at with wild abandon, seeking the taste of blood and the feeling of flesh tearing beneath her claws. She wasn't a murderous monster, she simply reveled in her task as predator, and she thrived. As she aged and hunted, she became only slightly less wild, cultivating a kinship with her elders and a great joy for idle chatter and lazing about between hunts. Temperament was being set well as she ranged through countrysides both near and far, and followed along in the trail with a small portion of her family. Three years of this lifestyle built her into a fantastic predator, and as she grew, Gizmo matured into a true beast. Becoming an adult, on two legs Gizmo towered over the still stunted Isha, but both fought with the same ferocity. Isha was well loved by her family, even in spite of her constant testing of their limitations. She was branded a trouble maker, but on the hunt she was pure business.
The last great hunt before she was finally sent back to the city to receive proper training in the Konoha Ninja Academy. The hunt took her family on a three long expedition into the frozen north of the world, well out of the land fire and into a range of mountains as jagged and brutal as dragon's teeth. Deep in those mountains lives one of the largest overland predators in the land, and few ever activly seek out one of the beasts. It was a winterwhite bear of immense size and it would serve as a right of passage for both Isha and Gizmo. Hunting the beast down was not a trial in tracking skills, and not truly one of endurance. Instead this was a pure test of Inuzuka taijutsu, and the ultimate test to prove she was ready to make a ninja of herself.
Gizmo did most of the work, though Isha would never admit that. While the large and savage dog snarled and howled and bit at the great bear's backside, Isha did what she did best, and launched assaults from every other angle, raking through thick fur with little effect, but even less willingness to admit defeat. The beast had been chosen, so she knew the possibility to succeed was within reason, but it was not to be an easy battle. Though they watched from a distance her family never directly intervened. Instead they cheered her on. With the support of her family, and through force of her own ability, Isha and Gizmo found their victory. It was a lengthy contest however in the end Gizmo had all but crippled the great bear by tearing through tendons and muscles in its legs when Isha went in for a terrible lash of her claws through the creature's throat. Blood poured from the monster, and when it slumped over and died the cheering for her only got louder.
For the first time in her life people started looking past her small size and called her a giant, and that night they feasted on roasted bear and celebrated well into the night at the passing of the youngest of their particular generation of Inuzuka. The return trip home was slow as the group stopped by villages to raid inns for booze, to continue their feast with locals and replenish supplies on the way. When they returned back to the Land of Fire, they settled down some, as barbarians around local law might. Finding their way back to Konoha, Isha's parents took her straight to the academy and enrolled her in classes. Of course, Isha thought she had already learned all she could, but it seemed there was more in the world than Inuzuka, after all.
Academy Years... and Beyond?: Her parents had told her tales of other ninja, of other shinobi more proud and more cultured than the Inuzuka. None were ever declared stronger, of course, however some were carefully cautioned to the girl, while spent time trying to bite her classmates, and picked fights with the others around her. She hadn't absorbed much beyond Taijutsu, and at first that didn't change much in the academy. She was a trouble maker, when presented with rules she pressed at their limitations to find their true bounds. Words were less important than actions, though she rarely ever shut up herself. Even to other children who found her annoying she was endlessly social, chatting them up with stories about the wild places and the great animals all around them.
At the same time others complained that she never shut up, and often ridiculed her for her foolish approach to life and obvious vanity. One made the mistake of insulting her size, and in a flash she turned from carefree student to violent beast and layed the boy out with a single well placed punch. Sure it was a complete sucker punch, but it made its point well. Even Gizmo was surprised by the punch, but soon sprung into action all snarls and bared teeth, though it went no further than that. Where as Isha remained wild, the canine partner had learned more respect for the rules. Isha walked away happy, while Gizmo followed in shock and minor amazement. While she became something of an outcast in class, it never really got to her.
Isha was at home in the world, and once back outside of the city she returned easily to a carefree, even lazily relaxed demeanour. She climbed trees, she went home, and every night her parents continued to supliment what the academy instructors had taught her with their own inuzuka laced advice. Like all her learning, it was a slightly slow process constantly inturrupted with playful, if random, fights between herself and Gizmo. Over the time she learned, and she learned well. Her elements were simple, as each of her parents shared one of her elements. Her father was the wind in her life, while her mother was the earth. Each of them took time to instruct her in simple, sometimes well known jutsu, however each of them also taught her something a little special.
Learning wind was an irksome process for Isha, however in gaining its jutsu she learned more persistance in her actions. Her wild lashing with hands and fingers was honed into more precise, even conservative use of chakra, which reminded her much of her first battles with Gizmo. Instead of overpowering her own chakra with the desire to manifest it into its elemental form, she was forced instead to finesse the energy and shape it like sand dunes in a desert wind. She learned control of her own inner power, used it to draw forth gentle breezes, and in time her mother instilled within her a gift. It was a special technique which had been cultivated by her family, not the Inuzuka clan. Unlike the bestial jutsu which all Inuzuka practiced, this one was one of pure element, and no animal at all.
It required many hours of quiet meditation, something which Isha had a terrible time with. Over and over she tried to focus her chakra into Wind release, and then cause movement within the energy. Diverting it out of her body through anywhere but her fingers was difficult, however the all over chakra cover of the Four Legs jutsu aided in developing this technique. Father showed her how to pour chakra from her body and swirl it around her in a great vortex. Even with only a little effort she could bring a breeze to a still summer day, but that was only the beginning. Bringing the wind closer would cause it to compress, cause the movement within it to churn and speed up, and by directing it into a circle around her she could manifest a vortex.
This was her first elemental jutsu, and it was perfect for what it required from her. Unconsciously learning both self control and chakra control, Isha also developed for herself a fine technique to keep her safe from the ranged weapons which often foiled close up fighters such as herself. The vortex, when brought in close, formed a barrier of dense and very fast moving wind which formed a strong defensive wall around her. Anyone unfortunate enough to assault the wall would find themselves cut to pieces by the strong, sharp wind tearing at their flesh. She was cautioned as she learned, not to use the technique unless needed. She was told to keep it secret, but she knew not why.
Her mother took her once she had mastered drawing down the vortex more quickly, and things turned from lectures on the importance of inner peace and stillness and control to something Isha found much more fun. Enjoying the prospect of destruction more than meditation, Isha still found mastering the her Earth release no easier than Wind. Both proved to be about as interesting as learning advanced mathematics at first, however quickly Earth turned much more entertaining. The jutsu her mother had was one she'd touted as unstoppable, as brutally efficient and more devastating than even the Inuzuka's famous fangs. It took some time to manifest her chakra into the earth element.
When at last Isha was able to draw up earth as easily as wind, and as easily as her own inert personal chakra, she moved on to learning a secret technique she had never imagined. Laying her hands to the ground, Isha's mother drew up the dirt itself and encased her hands in a glistening, diamond hard coating. It was beautiful, however it was even more deadly. With her hands encased in the sharp and ultra-hard material she began to slash through trees and ruin boulders with breathtaking ease. She crushed rocks into pebbles in her palm, and tore great troughs into the earth all around her. Isha delighted in the jutsu, however had mixed results for herself.
Merging with the earth itself proved difficult, as pulling each molecule into tight contact with the skin required the utmost of control, and a huge amount of chakra. Each time she grew better than the last. At first she could only draw the dirt up, cover her hand in a loose padding of earth which did make it less painful to punch solid objects, however it also cushioned the blow for the victim of the softened punch. Over time she learned better how to squeeze the bits of pebble and dust tightly, compressing it and binding it tightly to her skin. She never gained the diamond skin of her mother, but she began her path there.
Her new stone claws were amazing, something she was cautioned to use rarely, but to enjoy them when used. They were a trump card, an offensive technique which could tip the scales against her enemies. Paired with her natural claws her hands were weapons few of her enemies could truly be prepared for. Graduating from her Clan's school was much more important than graduating from the academy, but she was none the less delighted when she finally received her headband. The control taught by mother and father made picking up the academy jutsu a cinch, and though she never fit in she did still graduate. She wasn't much loved by her graduating class, however she wasn't hated. For her aggravating approach to constant, and distracting socialization. Those around her were mostly won over by her boundless positivity and zeal for life and pulled into a zone of mostly neutrality when regarding her. Roleplay Sample:

(Taken from another character) The fog catching the early morning sunrise gave a surreal quality to the valley that could only be described as breath taking, a wash of color cutting between the two mountains bordering it drawing the eyes even more than the white peaks on either side. It was beautiful, even Kageru had to admit it, though she’d never be able to voice such words aloud. Patches of green stretched up the mountainsides, reaching out of the thick white clouds as though desperation for sunlight was pulling them from a foamy grave. Verdant fingers seemed to reach for the sun, mottled among the stone cliffs and separated by a single thick river winding its way down jagged ridges and flowing in a dazzling waterfall, one well lost as it vanished into the low lying fog. All of it was beautiful, but it was the rainbow that caught her eyes the most.
It was dazzling on its own, but penetrating the thick white fog it stood as a single band of color amid a blank white canvas of nature’s own splendor. Mornings were always like this, this cold of the allowing the dense fog to form, a mist of large droplets slowly depositing itself on each blade of grass, each leaf, each rocky outcropping with little prejudice against what might be soaked by the coating. From below the world was only a haze of white, but from the peak of Mistclaw Mountian it was a different story. The blue sky, the yellow sun, even the grey of the stone added dashes of color to cause the scene the simply stop the mind with its beauty, and force all who look upon it to pause if only to stare for a few fleeting moments. These moments brought a stillness to Kageru’s mind, a gentle feeling of peace she could find no where else. Beneath all that fog, lost in a jungle like tangle of marsh, trees and vines she knew her clan’s castle stood, the mist dripping in small rivulets down the thick stone walls and straining the eyes of the few clansmen chosen to keep watch through the night. With in those walls adults were torturing children with that they called teaching, and tormenting other adults with what they called progress, and research.
That had been her life, one of suffering, one of torment, one which had molded a once soft child into a rock solid killer. Still, in spite of that she cold not see it now, so it did not appear on her canvas. Only the rainbow held her attention, and only it mattered. The bands of color cut through the blank fog like a spectrum of all her forbidden possibilities. The colors flowed perfectly within each other; an hour spent shading it just right with her pallet and brush. Red was her art, a prominent color, her joy replaced by the blood of her enemies. If not for how often she saw that color it might have been her favorite, just like the stillness and quiet of painting was her favorite now. Red faded away from the top of the arc, a narrow band of orange separating it from the central core of brilliant yellow. Yellow was her parents, not the parents she had but the parents she had always wished for. They were bright, and pleasing to the eye, the same color as the sun from which all life grows. If she had yellow parents her life could have been so much different, but it was not to be the case. No, her parents were black, dark as coal and useless for anything but stoking the flames of rage. The brief thought of her parents brings a tinge of pain to her heart, one which doesn’t register in her eyes even in this sacred private time she works so hard for.
Lower still the spectrum of light fades into soft blues, shades the color the limitless sky, which could have once been her potential. Her potential had been capped, however, if only thanks to a romantic interlude by her parents, and a twist of fate. Someone else could have been born in her place, but they too would just suffer, as all did within the walls of the Death Spider Castle. Why had it been her? This was a question she had no answer for, and one she suspected she would never come to understand. Fate was the simplest solution, and perhaps that was just all there was too it. Someone had to live this life, and why shouldn’t it be her? Beneath the blue the colors bled into aquamarine and purple, finally ending on a violet border as crisp as the red atop. The violet was more beautiful than any flower could hope to be, tinged with subtle shades of green, but overpowered by light blues and darker purples. It was breath taking, but what was it? Possibility? Potential? Was there any of either of those left in her world. She reaches out softly, placing a fingertip against the still drying paint and smudging the violet shade just softly into the white fog which was the rainbow’s home. Without the fog the sun would have no refraction, there would be no violent, no yellow or orange or red. Potential? Possibility? Could someone so beautiful be born from something so bleak? The thought tugged terribly on her cold heart, the emotion choking within her, threatening to mist her cold eyes.
No. It wasn’t to be, for she was no rainbow. She was what her family made her, and to them even this painting was a horrible sin. Its beauty had no place in their world, and its peace was anathema to their very existence. Kageru.. no, Takado closes her eyes to resist the growing tears within them for a moment, and when they reopen she picks her brush up once more. It’d been five hours out here all alone atop a mountain. Five hours she spent pouring her heart into a dazzling display of peace and color, and now she knew she had to sign it. Dipping her brush into a vile of untouched black ink she moves carefully, weaving through the complicated motions required to scribe the only thing that had ever served as a signature for these wondrous works of art. It was a simple rectangle, one she loved and hated, with intricate scrollwork of kanji and flowing script around which not only marked her art, but stole a small amount of her chakra. Her signature was the last thing she ever painted on these, but not so those who see it would know what they were.
Once done she collects her bag, her paints and her brushes and turns her back on the painting. Tears still threaten to fall, but they’d never manifest since the fateful night her mother had scolded her so cruelly. No, now she had no tears, and with her tears her heart had died. She reminded herself of this daily while gazing in a mirror and carefully dragging a finger over her scar. Her finger ended in a sharp and strong fingernail, a human claw, the same sort of which had been at the end of her mother’s finger when that wound was opened, and the scar permitted to mar her for ever. Even as she walks she can feel the rough ridge of tissue crossing her left cheek, and that alone gave her the strength to do what she needed. She closes her eyes again and focuses, removing the rainbow from her mind as she releases some of her chakra, letting it connect and compliment the chakra in her signature. She doesn’t even look back as heat and flame burst out behind her. The explosive seal had been used on every painting she’d ever put to canvas, and even now the ensuing explosion shredded the work of art, engulfing it in splintering force and consuming it in cleansing fire. The sound of the explosion barely registered in her mind, and she simply kept walking. Before long she’d be back in Kumo, and it wouldn’t do to have emotion showing in her eyes or on her lips, in a place where people might see them.

| THE ARSENAL. Jutsu, Weaponry, Items etc. Academy Jutsu:
- Spoiler:
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Chakra Cost: 1CP per 5 clones
Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Chakra Cost: 1 (per 3 explosive notes)
Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Chakra Cost: Cost of Genjutsu + 2CP
Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Inuzuka Jutsu:
- Spoiler:
Name: Gatsuga | Fang Passing Fang Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: - Description: Gatsuga is a taijutsu technique used by the members of the Inuzuma clan. The user and his partner spin at a ferocious speed and deliver many powerful beast-like attacks when contact is made with the target. The force of this attack is strong enough to drill through stone. This attack can be done alone, although it is less effective in supporting the ferocious hit-and-run tactics that the Inuzuka clan are known well for. Chakra Cost: 5CP
Name: Dainamikkumākingu | Dynamic Marking Rank: D Type: Taijjutsu Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Element: - Description: Dainamikkumākingu is a taijutsu technique used by the members of the Inuzuka clan. The users companion urinates on the target, allowing both themselves and their human counterpart to track the target by scent. Because of the speed execution of the technique it is difficult to avoid. In addition, the dogs urine is apparently caustic, which causes a burning sensation for 5 posts. Chakra Cost: 3CP
Name: Jujin Bunshin | Beast Human Clone Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: - Description: Jujin Bunshin is a ninjutsu technique used by the members of the Inuzuma clan. A modified version/mix of a Transformation Technique and a clone technique, this jutsu, unique to the Inuzuka clan, allows a canine-user to transform their animal companion into a perfect copy of themselves. Like any transformation, the jutsu can be broken by identifying and attacking the animal, thus dispelling the transformation Chakra Cost: 3CP (Additional 1CP Per Post)
Name: Shikyaku no Jutsu | Four Legs Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: - Description: Shikyaku no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique used by the members of the Inuzuma clan. This technique grants animal-like accelerated fighting instinct and reflexes. By stretching chakra around one's entire body and moving on all fours, one obtains super-high speed, like that of a wild animal. Taught only to the members of the Inuzuka clan, this technique forms the basis of a Inuzuka clan member's Taijutsu fighting style, and will add even more to their feral-like appearances; their canine teeth and their finger-and-toenails grow to claw-like length, their eyes become more wild. When under the effects of this jutsu, an Inuzuka will display feats of physical strength, speed, and endurance when they are in this state. The form is best suited for using and supporting the ferocious hit-and-run tactics that the Inuzuka clan are known well for. Chakra Cost: 3CP (Additional 1CP Per Post)
Taijutsu:
- Spoiler:
Name: Suton Tsume - Stone Claws Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: Earth Description: After forming a tiger seal the user of this techniques places their hands against the ground and absorbs the earth there. Dirt and stone both stick to the users hands and compress against the skin into a second coating of hardened and very dense stone. While solid and durable, a constant supply of earth chakra keeps the stone hands still able to move, grab, and manipulate objects. Of course this solid coating of stone turns the fingers into blade like extensions, or into five horrifying claws with a jagged and sharp inner edge. Having these knife like extensions encasing her natural claws does make her hands a more lethal weapon, but it also comes with other advantages.
Using only their fingers and palms a user of Suton Tsume is able to defend against sharp weapons of equal or lesser rank to the shinobi without fear of being cut. While highly durable, this defense is only able to cover the user's hands, not their feet, nor other parts of their body, just wrist to fingertips. Of course, this jutsu can be easily countered by attacking it with Raiton chakra, or a Raiton infused weapon. Charka Cost: 6(2)
Non-Elemental Ninjutsu:
- Spoiler:
Name: Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu - Chakra Absorption Technique Rank: C-S Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: After activitating the technique, the user's hand will glow with chakra. When he or she touches his or her palm on his or her opponents body, the user can withdraw the physical and spiritual energy out of them. By reducing their chakra, it greatly increases the user’s advantage over his or her opponent. Chakra Cost: Costs the User: C (5) | Takes From Target: D (4) Costs the User: B (10) | Takes From Target: C (9) Costs the User: A (20) | Takes From Target: B (15) Costs the User: S (35) | Takes From Target: A (25)
Doton Jutsu:
- Spoiler:
Name: Bloody Unheaval Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10m Element: Doton Description: After forming handseals the user will slam their hands into the ground and cause a small earthquake. This will create a crater of cracks through solid earth for 5 meters around the user. While this has little more than an unbalancing effect for foes on the surface within range, those unfortunate enough to be caught underground within 5 meters of the user will find tremendous waves of shock and violence tearing all through them and the ground all around them. This deals a great amount of damage to underground victims, and the churning forces of the earthquake are often enough to push someone right up and onto the surface. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu - Double Suicide Decapitation Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Doton (Earth) Description: Doton • Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will travel through the ground to appear below their target. They will then surprise their target by then pulling them into the ground. Once in the ground their target is thus immobilized. Chakra Cost: 4
Name: Dochuu Senkou - Underground Submarine Voyage Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Doton (Earth) Description: Doton • Dochuu Senkou is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the user can sink below ground and quickly travel through the earth. Chakra Cost: 6 (2 per post)
Name: Doro Gaeshi - Mud Overturn Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Doton (Earth) Description: Doton • Doro Gaeshi is a defensive Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After striking the ground with their hands, a large wall of earth will rise into place as defense. The defense is not perfect though, a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Doryuusou - Earthen Rising Spears Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Doton (Earth) Description: This technique lets the user condense mud or stone, from the ground, and shape them into spikes that will protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. The spikes are brittle, and can be broken with a strong blow or tough defense. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Sarutihiko Te – Earth Kami’s Hand Rank: C Type: Doton Range: N/A Element: Doton Description: By charging earth chakra in their hand and pushing their hands against the ground, the user causes a great expansion in the ground below them, or within 10m of them. A hand about 3m wide attached to an arm about 1m wide will rise up very quickly from the ground, to a maximum height of 10m. The arm can be restricted to a lower height at the user of the jutsu’s choice, however once the jutsu ends it can not be cast again to increase the height further. This jutsu is useful for gaining a very quick height advantage. Chakra Cost: 5
Fuuton Jutsu:
- Spoiler:
Name: Kaze kamisoriu~ōru - Wind Razor Wall Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: 5m-7m Element: Fuuton Description: This jutsu requires that the user perform the needed hand seals to focus the chakra for this jutsu, and then end by holding one hand in a tiger seal and lifting the other hand skywards. Completion of the jutsu summons up a strong wind which quickly wraps around the user of the jutsu and forms a visible wall of churning, spinning fuuton chakra. This cyclone of chakra forms a shell around the user extending out in a sphere with a 5m diameter, and while the wind is visible it mostly obscures the shinobi contained within it. This barrier of high pressure, fast moving wind is able to deflect most projectiles aimed at the user, but can also serve to ward off close ranged assaults. Anyone unfortunate enough to try to force their way through the barrier is likely to receive a multitude of tiny cuts all over the portion of their body exposed to the cutting wind barrier. This damage is mostly minor cuts and lacerations, however prolonged exposure to the forces can cause significant damage over time. Chakra Cost: 8(2)
Name: Kami Oroshi - Godly Wind from the Mountains Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fuuton (Wind) Description: The user will generate a whirling vortex of wind which he or she can send snaking towards his or her target. This wind can be used to help cause an explosive blaze when used with certain fire and earth techniques. Chakra Cost: 7 (2 per post)
Name: Daitoppa - Great Breakthrough Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fuuton (Wind) Description: This is a relatively simple technique that creates a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame. Chakra Cost: 9
Name: Fuuton Bunshin no Jutsu - Wind Clone Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fuuton Description: Fuuton Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes wind to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Fuuton Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target, but none utilizing chakra. The range of the clone is limited however, it can travel no further than 10 meters from the original body. If the Fuuton Bunshin is injured, the clone will disperse with a gust of wind. Chakra Cost: 7 (Per clone)
Equipment
- Spoiler:
Name: Baby Bear War Mask Rank: C Type: Equipment Quantity: 1 Description: This mask is made of a wood veneer over a sturdy iron base. It fits close to the face when worn and forms a seal around eyes, nose, and mouth. Strong air filters on the mask allow it to preform as a respirator, filtering out particulates and poisons which may threaten the wearer. While worn the user is protected from C rank air born poisons, and other such attacks. As an unfortunate side effect, while worn the users sense of smell is greatly reduced.
Name: Genin Kit Rank: C Quantity: 1 Contents: 6 Kunai [6], 10 Shuriken [5], 9 Senbon [3], 10 Makibishi [2], 4 Exploding Notes [4], 3 Exploding Pouches [1], 3 Smoke Pellets [1], 12m String [4], 1 Windmill Shuriken [5], 1 File & Scissor [1].
Pet: Gizmo
- Spoiler:
Name: Gizmo
Age: 6
Breed: Husky
Appearance: Gizmo is a horrifying monster when he wants to be, opening his mouth to growl with jaws full of sharp fangs. His eyes are an icy blue and highly reflective, and seem to assess all strangers with little more than barely contained aggression. For all his snarls and anger, however, Gizmo is a majestic and beautiful creature. Standing at almost five feet at his shoulders he is am impressive and imposing monster clad in a thick coat of milk white fur which shines brilliantly in moonlight. A norther breed of the Inuzuka dog, his coat fits perfectly in snow clad surroundings, but stealth isn't really a dog triat. Instead he is made of muscle, stone solid flesh flexing beneath his fur atop a frame of solid bone. He's not made for speed, he's made for agility, power, and above all endurance.
Personality: Gizmo is a wild dog, a husky of such impressive side and ferocity it is hard to think he's a typical dog. In fact he is not, his family lineage bred through the ages to increase their size and power to unthinkable levels, and instill within them a dominance and drive to be more than just a house pet. Even now he doesn't take orders, but is at least willing to admit that he and Isha stand on equal footing in their relationship. The both still test each other in attempts to be the dominate mutt in the pack, however their relative skills contiue to result in only a draw each time. Gizmo is aggressive to other animals and too strangers, to the point of possibly attacking a rude strange with or without Isha's consent. His sharp instincts and even sharper senses make him a formidable sensor and he is always feeding Isha information about their surroundings.

| Nickname: Just have a short description about what the nickname means and how she earnt the title below please.
Nindo: The explanation of your nindo isn't necessary or at least doesn't require placing within the Nindo section itself. I'd suggest moving it above to your Personality.
Special Characteristics: I've been made aware this is a previously approved and roleplayed with character, so the SC starting limit won't need to apply here.
Gizmo: The image for Gizmo seems to be broken, be sure you're linking to the image itself and not the website host. I've noticed you haven't included the Nickname section available for pets, would you like to add this in or are you set on not having one for Gizmo? Lastly, have a specific breed of dog placed within the Species section please. |
