Weekend Excursion

My younger brother turned 11 on the 2nd and is having his birthday party this Saturday, so I'm taking the train down there to visit (he doesn't know I'm coming, I only called to sing Happy B-Day to him and didn't even mention it). Since I'm going by train and will only be there over the weekend (I'll be gone from Friday morning to Monday evening), I won't bother trying to pack up my desktop (lol). The small amount of time I do spend on a computer will be to finish up assignments and such.

I'M HOOOME!!

Fun story: When we got to the house (my mom picked me up from the station), I peeked around the corner into the room my bro was in and he literally jumped up and damn near tackled me, lmao.

MY MOM MADE THREE TYPES OF CUPCAKES FOR THE PARTY:

Lemon Meringue (the cupcakes had lemon flavor, were filled with lemon curd, and had meringue on top)
Strawberry (there were bits of strawberry in the cupcakes and they were topped with a strawberry buttercream, which also had strawberry pieces in it)
Red Velvet (they had a cream cheese frosting type thing on top and it was fucking delicious holy shit)

The night before that, my dad made ribs, and they were so good and so perfectly cooked THE MEAT JUST FELL CLEAN OFF THE BONE
THOSE BONES WERE SO CLEAN IT WAS LIKE SOMEBODY LICKED THEM CLEAN
WOW

The best thing about going home for short visits is you get good food and don't feel overwhelmed by the end of the visit. XD

Anyways now that I'm back I'm going to finish homework and get back into things.
