Forehead protector According to his outfit of choice, Mokuzai has three spots that he chooses to wear his headband. He also has the ability to change the plates of said headband to change the symbol upon the metal. The places are as the following:

While wearing his black robes, Mokuzai chooses to place the cloth around the outline of where his lips would be.
Wearing his white coat, Mokuzai places it just above his right temple with the cloth of the protector running down his left arm.
With his new common attire, the vest that he wears underneath his haori has a slit just for the headband specifically. This allows the band to remain stable and out of an area where the fabric usually causes issues.
