Yoroi Kaguya

To most, it was another ordinary day in Konohagakure, though that did not apply for a shinobi such as Yoroi. It was a particularly busy day for the members of the protective service division. Not only had Yoroi been assigned a team to help him deal with a possible economical blow to the village, he had also brought a lot of extra work with him when he took down a spy from Kumogakure and locked him up in his private cell beneath his house after breaking the majority of bones in his arms to keep him from trying anything to break out. Dealing with a delicate mission and a spy that had used a status given to him in the past, one that had now been taken from him. Because of all the commotion, Yoroi had finished all of his work in but a few hours, not explaining anything to the rest of the department, figuring that his sister would read and process his reports soon enough. With that thought in mind, he took his things and left the office and the annoying lot of people that had frustrated themselves and the people around them, heading towards the woodlands around the village. As a child, he had studied the land and figured out every corner of the country and how to get there, something he still benefited from as a young adult.

Hoping to find solitude out in the forest, he went looking for a good spot where he could get some shut-eye. Though most of the forest was usually quite calm as a result of Konohagakure's efforts, people were still weary when moving through the treeline, never knowing exactly what they might run into. Yoroi was a strong shinobi, that much was true, though even he could be seriously injured if he let his guard down around a dangerous individual he could not see coming. It was because of this that he had trained his mind and his eyes to become more perceptive, picking up things the untrained eye would not even notice and quickly work out a potent response. Many shinobi had a perceptive mind, though some managed to stand out above all the others, some through hard work, some through a perk gained by their clan. The Uchiha were the ones that had it easy, their Sharingan allowing them to see almost everything within their line of vision to the point where the more powerful members of their clan could even see the movement of the human body and predict their trajectory before they even threw their attack, making them into a very formidable opponent.

They were the kind of people that had an unfair advantage over others because of their eyes, though there were plenty of others that had an advantage over someone else because of their Kekkei Genkai, Yoroi being one of them. His Shikotsumyaku allowed him to defeat any opponent in close quarters, no matter how skilled they might be. In the end, all would fall to the superior might of the Kaguya in a Taijutsu fight, at least that was what he believed. There were other clans he had only heard about, but had never really seen in action. Up until a few months ago, that included the Akimichi, the Yamanaka and the Nagase. Of all the clans he had seen, the Nagase was probably the most peculiar one, for it was Uriko that seemingly had the ability to completely disable his Shikotsumyaku, forcing him to rely on other means of combat in order to keep himself alive. This was not easy for someone that had fallen into the habit of having his own skeletal structure as a back-up weapon in case things got rough. That said, there were other clans in the fire country and Konohagakure that he hoped to see in action sometime.

Finding a nice old tree he had once used as a lookout when hunting for food, it took him less than a second to get to his old spot. Sitting himself down on a flat branch in the center of the tree, the leaves hid him from sight while small gaps in the foliage allowed him to peak down in case his ears picked up on something below him. Leaning against a vertical branch with his back, he let out a deep sigh that seemingly took away all the stress of the day. Breathing in deeply, the fresh outdoor air revitalized his body and mind, making him question living in the village, even though his new home was hardly what one would call "normal". Spending no more time pondering on such things, he closed his eyes and relaxed.

PostSubject: Re: A matter of Perception. [Wind] A matter of Perception. [Wind] EmptyTue 15 Apr 2014, 6:52 pm

The constant din of song birds drifted along the cool forest breeze, the slow sway of the canopy above adding a dappled shade to the floor below.  Insects added to the music of the forest, and riding along on Gizmo’s back just made this morning quite heavenly.  She was out again, far from the city’s walls and basking in the unadulterated splendor which was nature’s finest gift to those of the Land of fire.  Isha was well known for her knack at avoiding the cityscape, so seeing her out and among the undergrowth of the local woods was pretty common; however she only rarely ran into the few others who made this green habitat their home.  As it would turn out, today was one of such days.

Gizmo was the first to notice the subtle scent of a stranger along the wind, and with only a pair of quiet sniffs he froze in his tracks.  Another sniff preceded an obligatory growl, though the noise was just quiet enough to reach Isha’s ears.  Lazily she lifts her head and yawns, having been disturbed from apparently day dreaming in her seat. What is it, Gizmo?  Something out there? she mutters sleepily at the dog.  She lifts her gaze towards the canopy of branches, leaves and moss and gives a sniff of her own.  Oh yeah, I smell it too.  Someone’s out here.  No worries, we can take em, she mutters, and gives the large beast of a dog a reassuring pat on the side.

Like some miniature horse of all white fur and savage jaws, the large dog continues along its way, still sniffing the air cautiously.  Young Isha was also on guard, though she seemed much more relaxed about it than her companion.  She peers about through the branches as they move, her moss green eyes making slow sweeps through shadows and thick stands of leaf.  With as quiet as the pair was and how alert the large white husky was, it was pretty common that Isha and her ally made first contact, and it seemed like this time would be no different.  At last her voyage would take her far enough along the forest floor to spot the location of the human scent.  Apparently someone else had taken to napping in the branches.  This, of course, makes Isha smirk with slight amusement.

Heeey she calls out loudly, her voice carrying up to the branches above.  You up there!  Are you asleep?  It was a silly question, of course, with her voice breaking the tranquil forest setting.  Surely anyone who had been sleeping was awake now.  Birds would stop singing for the moment in the area, squirrels and chipmunks would hide and all the small animals which serve as common prey would resort to silencing themselves for fear of being hunted.  For the moment the forest falls still, save the constant brush of leaves moving in the wind, and the soft creak of large branches waving too and fro.  Isha just sits there, awaiting response.

Yoroi Kaguya

Even though he had already expected someone to break the silence he had been searching for, he had no idea that things would have turned out like this. Most shinobi would remain quiet until they figured out what the person they had seen was and where he came from, preparing them for a possible encounter with unfriendly forces. In this case, he could understand her actions because they were so close to the village at the moment. Looking down through the leaves, he could see a girl and a dog, a very, very large dog. If he hadn't known any better, he might have compared it to a dire wolf or even a small bear. Browsing through the pages of the book that was his brain, one of the most logical links he could make when going by someone who took such a large animal into battle while being from the hidden leaf, he could only make an educated guess, tying this person in with the Inuzuka clan. Though he did not know a lot about the abilities they possessed, all he knew was that they had the senses of a hound and also took one with them into battle. How battle oriented these animals were was something he knew nothing about, though he would enjoy seeing it some day. For now though, he would just keep things shallow due to the small chance of him being wrong about her clan.

"Most people I know would not just go around yelling at people that hide up in a tree. It's often the case that these people have something to hide or do not wish to be found for whatever their reason might be. Luckily for you, I am not one of those people.".

No longer seeing the fun in sticking to his resting place, he slipped out of the spot he was in, placing both of his soles on the side of the tree. Focusing just a bit of chakra into them, the young Sennin stepped out of hiding and stood horizontally above the Kunoichi, his feet seemingly attached to the tree he had been sitting in earlier. Though it was but a simple trick for a shinobi, Yoroi had always considered it to be one of the most peculiar things he had ever learned. For someone like Yoroi, that meant a lot when all things were considered, especially the kekkei genkai bestowed upon him by a broken clan of barbarians, the Shikotsumyaku. The ability to sprout bones from the body and control calcium, a little extra he learned about once he started diving deeper into the field of healing and the human body was without a doubt one of the strangest powers in the entire world while being reserved to a select few. As his feet reached the ground below, he stood right beside the tree, looking over the young Kunoichi. It seemed that he was not the only one that had a somewhat peculiar wardrobe. Yoroi was the kind of person that enjoyed individuality in people, and what went to show more individuality than expression through acts of personality or one's own choice of clothing that made them stand out.

"I'm sorry if I seem a bit strange, this week has been rather annoying. Don't worry about it though, I won't bother you with the details. My name is Yoroi, what's yours?".

Figuring this approach would allow him to look into her personality a bit while getting a bit of insight on how she viewed him, it was a textbook approach he had learned from... a textbook on human behavior and psychology. Not many knew that he had been training himself to be more social by reading books except for a few people that had been to the house he shared with Kimiko at the time. Thinking back of those rather simple times, he let out a deep sigh before returning to his starting conversation with the new kid. Wondering what the girl would think about his appearance and his manner of speech, he could only figure that she thought of him to be weird. It was to be expected when one thought about someone that had been close to falling asleep in a tree and later walked down vertically while defying gravity. His physical appearance was also weird to some, though to him and the people close to him it had become completely normal, for all that was worth in a world of shinobi.

PostSubject: Re: A matter of Perception. [Wind] A matter of Perception. [Wind] EmptyWed 23 Apr 2014, 12:55 am

Good, that sounds really boring.  I don’t really care much she replies to his lack of details, a casual wave of her hand dismissing the need for such trivial matters.  She watches him descend without an ounce of awe striking her features.  Instead she simply yawns, her mouth opening wide to show off a pair of sharper canines than usual.  Gizmo seemed less relaxed, the massive dog curling up his lips and growling quietly.  Isha just gives him a pat on the side of his neck to calm him down.

I’m Isha.  Why you sleeping up there?  There’s a glen about a mile from here with a really tall oak in it which is way better for sleeping.  Round this time of the morning the sun hits it just right and it gets all warm, and there’s some forked branches in it which are just great.  Course, that’s my tree, so don’t go sleeping in it, or I’ll have to kick you out.  I like to sleep there sometimes.  You’re not hunting around here are you?  I don’t like to share my territory, there’s only so many animals, ya know?  She continues to peer at the man curiously, rambling on and on as if everyone actually cared what she had to say.  All the while Gizmo continues to stare daggers at the man with rather violent intent in his eyes.

The large white husky seemed to possess a bad temperament, quiet growls slipping out of his gaping maw even after Isha had told him to calm down.  After the initial pat on his side, Isha was just letting him be himself.  The dog, and by proxy Isha, manage a few steps away from Yoroi as he reaches the ground.  A ridge of hair along his shoulders stands up on end, the same ridge reaching down behind Isha and rising over his back.  Crystal blue eyes stare, watching him and just waiting for him to make the wrong move.  This is a great contrast to the young looking girl on his back.  She was slight, short and apparently lacking in the bulk of muscle most people in her profession and with her chosen skill set typically produce.

She moves with a languid grace, subtly showing off light limbs which ended in claws instead of finger or toe nails.  The fact that she was an Inuzuka was something she never hid.  She saw no point in it.  If the claws and fangs and the massive dog constantly tailing her were not an obvious give away, the twin triangle birthmarks beneath her eyes were typically enough to educate even those who have only minored in the study of famous ninja clans, from even long distances.  While it seems like she’s barely paying attention to the man, her words betray that fact.  With her mask sitting on top of her head like some manner of odd hat it remains plainly visible, so she points at it with a thumb.

“Can’t help but notice you don’t got a headband.  Nothing to tell me your even from Konoha, let alone welcome in the Land of Fire.  So who are you, mister Yoroi?  Am I gonna need to beat you up to make you leave, or do you belong in these woods?”

The site ate my post ._.

Sorry Wind and other people reading it, not much I can do to fill in the hole in the thread's plot with some stupid rambling. So now the best thing I can come up with is simply describing what happened in my post.

1. Yoroi listens to the girl talk about how he was currently on her territory, something he considered to be both funny and a little interest, seeing as she reminded him of his younger self.
2. After hearing her out, he decides to take her up on her offer and claims that barking dogs don't bite. Taking off his shirt and tossing it into a corner, he waits for Isha and her dog to come at him for a spar.

PostSubject: Re: A matter of Perception. [Wind] A matter of Perception. [Wind] EmptyWed 23 Apr 2014, 9:56 pm

Yeah, cause that’s just want to do.  I want to spend my afternoon entertaining some ancient pervert that likes to strip down in front of little girls.  What are you, like 50?  Put your shirt back on, grandpa, no one wants to see your scars.  Isha’s voice is filled with mockery and amusement, her taunting demeanor not disturbed by Yoroi’s challenge.  She flops a wrist casually, once more giving his idea a dismissive wave.  Surely she thought it was beneath her, and though she wasn’t far off from Yoroi’s actual age the simple fact that she looked much younger gave her more room to sling such insults and slander.  She pauses for a moment for a good, loud laugh, even going so far as to wipe away a single tear of glee once she’s stopped.

She seems not the least bit worried, though she does pull the mask down off of her head and over her face.  With the mask in position she seems to be dressed even more oddly, the rings and red circles really looking like no animal in particular.  The pointed ears seem akin to some manner of dog, perhaps even a jackal, but nothing else of the mask looked very canine.  Tell you what, old man.  You can have the tree.  People your age need all the naps they can get.  So you just put your shirt back on, go get some sleep, and I’ll run to town and pick you up some prunes.  Maybe a little beef broth on the side.  I know how you people gotta keep your diet easy to digest.  We wouldn't want you dying from intestinal distress before you have a chance to nap away your twilight years.

Come on, Gizmo. Let's get out of here before this old man takes even more of his clothes off she notes, turning her attention back to her canine companion.  She gives a nudge with her left knee, only the smallest amount of pressure needed to convey her desires to over sized friend.  Gizmo growls again, yips once, then turns and begins wandering away at a slow pace.  Isha resumes laughing once more, loud and boisterous and clearly mocking the very idea that Yoroi posed a threat to her.  Of course, kids would be kids.  Being the runt of her family Isha looked like she might be nine or ten, but she had been wearing a Konoha headband.  Clearly she was old enough to have passed the academy tests and earn her place as a shinobi.

The two continue on their way ever slowly, the dog taking step after step in apparent dismissal of the entire conversation.  Of course Gizmo’s ears were still perked up on end, listening carefully for any sounds of footsteps following them, or the tell tale rush of wind parting for a body in motion.  Isha’s mockery made her no less prepared to act, and should the need present itself she was already prepared to retaliate in kind against anyone foolish enough to launch an assault.  She was, if a single word could capture her, confident.  Arrogant may have served as well, and likewise frustrating seemed to fit in there; but she showed not a single ounce of fear no matter how outclassed she might be.

Yoroi Kaguya

"I should have known, all you dogs are loud when you get to bark, though your teeth are too dull to leave a mark even if you got the confidence to actually bite. Besides, if your perceptive skills are as bad as your fighting style, you might end up breaking your own spine trying to perform an academy level technique.".

Sending a mouthful of spite towards the kid, no attempts were made to try and contain himself. To say that Yoroi was very disappointed in the kid went without saying. She sounded confident, though she was the stereotype barking dog that would never bite. In that, she was not like the younger Yoroi at all, for he would at least have taken someone up on the offer to fight if he had put out a threat. The rate at which she jumped from confident to overly confident and loud was proof enough that she was just acting big while being nothing more than a mere child at heart, afraid to actually get her hands dirty. Both confused and repulsed by the behavior the girl was showing now as opposed to the things she said before, he spat on the ground and crossed his arms over his chest while looking down on the young girl. He was certain that she was not that much younger than he was while the markings on her face backed up his beliefs of her being a member of the Inuzuka clan. Though he had never met one of them before, he had heard that they were loyal shinobi and potent fighters, two things he could not see when he looked at the troublesome child standing in front of him. Having already had a bad week, the encounter with the girl was supposed to be fun, though like everything else around him, that much was simply not within his reach.

"One would think that someone like you should be potent at more than just sniffing butts. The difference in age should be no more than five or six years at best, seeing as you're not exactly a child yourself. Had it only been your lack of actual confidence and guts, I might have been able to see you as a semi-potent shinobi, though your lack of perception is severely lacking, even for an academy student. How someone like you can pass the academy is... shocking. Keep your tree and move along, we're done here".

That said, Yoroi had completely lost all of the built up interest in the girl. The rate at which she had managed to drain everything away and leave nothing but disappointment was just as shocking as her inability to perceive what was going on around her. It had been so easy for her to just give up the area she had been calling her territory and her tree when faced against someone that was willing to put up a fight that Yoroi could not help but wonder what the people at the academy were teaching the kids. If they were teaching people to just abandon their post when faced with incoming hostiles, he could understand how this pup had passed. Maybe her ears and nose were like that of a dog, her ocular prowess was obviously lacking, just like how her personality and behavior were conflicting with that of a decent shinobi. If there was but one thing Yoroi loathed more than anything else, it was weakness, making weak people the kind he did not want to waste his time on. Whatever this kid believed herself to be, she was not even worthy of standing within fifty meters of his location. Turning to pick his shirt up from the ground, he wasted very little time to step up against the tree and move up with a subtle jump, landing him back in his original location. Hoping the child and her dog would leave like she said they would, he had not given up hope on catching a few hours of sleep in his spot just yet.

Due to the way things had been going for him lately, getting a few hours of sleep in the middle of the day were more than welcome. Trying to vent some of the aggression that had been building up for over a month, he closed his eyes and allowed it to flow out of his body. Being a Kaguya often made it hard for him to contain his anger once it had been pulled out of him like the girl had done. Together with the things surrounding Kimiko and Toshiro, the disappearance of Viera and the way every important figure in the village seemed to always work against him due to them not trusting him, the pent up anger inside of him had been reaching for critical levels for quite some time now. Right now, the only good things he had going was spending time with Mana, his team and training in the fire temple. In all honesty, those were probably the only things standing between him and a new life as a wandering shinobi that would no doubt get added to the Bingo book as a Nukenin for "betraying" the village that was systematically killing him by refusing to see the good in all of the things he had done for the sake of the country, the village, his family and his friends. If the kid was going to stay around for any longer, he would continue to keep his eye on her, only allowing himself to fall asleep once he knew no one was around. Using his shirt as a pillow, he rested his troubled head while waiting for the nuisance to remove herself.

Isha listens as she rides way at an incredibly slow pace, Yoroi’s words causing her laughter to titter down into a mocking bit of snickering, and then erupt once more into full volume laughter. It seemed to much for the girl, and she was nearly falling off of her dog as she cracked up. She snorts once, snickers, and then manages to calm herself for a moment for a few more words in exchange. Isha doesn’t even look back as she speaks, only adding to the level of disrespect she’s happy to show to anyone she perceives as Jounin or beyond. My perceptive skills? I saw you before you saw me. Let’s try to remember who here has old bones ready to break at a moment’s notice old man. And before you go spouting on and on about who’s so strong and who’s so weak, and how you’d kick my butt up and down the countryside, let’s go ahead and take notice of the fact that you’re threatening a little girl.

You think you’re stronger than me? Seems to me the only thing you do better than me is bully. Picking on little girls, calling them names, trying to fight with them... Yeah, you’re a real role model. I tell you I have a nice sleeping spot, and you tell me you’re gonna steal it. You come strolling down a tree like you’re hot shit, take off your shirt like I’m gonna swoon over your abs, then think to call me weak cause I’m walking away. What else should I do? Want me to bite your bait so you can have a wonderful afternoon of picking on people way smaller than you? Yeah, I don’t think so, loser. Isha laughs again and shakes her head. She speaks a bit quieter, but not to hide her words. Instead she’s just talking to her dog.

The nerve of these people, huh Gizmo? So high and mighty and wanting to beat up a little girl to prove how strong they are. Mo barks in reply, growls once, and continues trotting off slowly. They were still within earshot in the quiet forest. You said it. What a loser. And he doesn’t even have a headband. He can walk down trees, but even you could do that as a puppy. Isn’t that right, mo? Yes it is right! Yes it is! Isha snickers and scratches the full fur covering the dog’s neck. Here she pauses, the dog stopping to give Isha a chance to look back at the Yoroi as he pretends to nap. She smiles behind her mask, well amused by this exchange of words. She didn’t quite think that Yoroi could keep up with her when it came to taunting, but it was always so much easier for children to taunt adults, than the other way around.

She seemed satisfied to await a response from the man who seemed to be doing his best to pretend to ignore her. That was really the best way to avoid being drawn into the contest of insults Isha had started, but so few managed to contain their anger when a haughty little child was giving them the once over. Still, she had an answer for that as well. A hand moves subtly behind her, most likely unnoticed at such a distance, and slips some fingers around the steel grip of one of her kunai. She drags a fingertip over the wire wrapped grip of the throwing knife, dragging it from the sharp bottom of the blade down to the finger sized ring at the bottom. There a simple wire was tied, about two inches of cable connected from the ring to a paper note. If need be, she was prepared to put the bomb to use.

Yoroi Kaguya

Yoroi had hoped that the kid would quit bothering him if he retreated back to his slumber-spot, though he had been mistaken. Trying to place his hands over his ears, he could still hear the shrieking wails of the Inuzuka youngling. A lot could be said about the kid, but she did have a lot of nerve to keep poking at him. Continuing to speak about him to her dog, all he could do was pick out the massive amount of contradictions from her statements. Shaking his head while listening to the kid below him trying her very best to upset the young Sennin, he figured that there would be no time for him to get any actual rest with the kid constantly yelling at him. After a few minutes, he rose up from his horizontal position and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, the kid still rambling about how he thought he was stronger than her but was in fact only better at bullying. If the kid had actually shown some guts, he would have shown her just how much stronger than her he truly was, though she seemed to be incapable of understanding the situation she was in. She should have known better than to talk about how she would beat him up while putting her tail between her legs and taking back what she said like a frightened pup. It was very unfitting of a shinobi to toss a threat at someone and not follow up on it, it killed one's credibility, just like it had done for the Inuzuka girl.

"Stop talking kid, you're starting to get on my nerves. Your constant self-contradiction makes you seem like a massive idiot anyway, so do yourself a favor and shut up.".

If she knew what he could do to the kid, chances were that she would not be as big a wise-ass and see to it that she got herself home before he no longer felt like restraining himself. He had spent a lot of time already in order to keep himself under control by training with monks, though this kid managed to get to him with her empty words and stupid contradicting statements. Looking down from his seated position, he scratched himself behind his ear while yawning. What he saw when he looked at the girl was the image of an untrained dog that needed some harsh discipline. Yoroi would not mind distributing this discipline, not because he would enjoy putting the brat in her place but because she was in obvious need of it. In truth, he had no idea whether he should go down there to shut her up for a bit by handing her a snack or if he should literally give her a swift kick in the ass. Yoroi was a Sennin, so he had every right to respond the way he wanted and get away with it, though he did not want to use his status for personal reasons. That said, he didn't consider this to be a personal reason as much as it was a possible mistake made by the academy when they passed someone that seemingly lacked everything that was needed if one was to be a good shinobi.

"This is your last chance to get out of my face before I come down there and teach you to respect those above you. Your parents obviously failed to discipline you as a child, so don't make me do to you what your parents couldn't.".

Even though she was not as bad, Satsune had been a lot like this kid when they first met, though he had been capable of bonding with the kid because she had more brain-cells than a rock, which was what set her apart from the Inuzuka. It was truly a pity that she was behaving this way, he could see how a well trained Inuzuka could help the village in more ways than one. Maybe through some good old discipline, she could be brought in line a bit and keep her big mouth before she got herself into trouble.

Isha can not help but snicker once more, a quiet chortle of amusement beneath her breath as the older man continues to threaten her while also trying to sleep.  Talk about contradictions. Well, this one’s got patience, you gotta give him that.  Thick skin too.  Let’s go ahead and escalate this situation and see what happens Isha whispers to her dog.  In a single deft motion she spins around on the dogs back so she can better face the sleeping Kaguya.  She slides her mask up off of her face, because what she had in mind simply wouldn’t work as well if her mouth was covered.  Perhaps a little surprisingly no further dialog continues.  Instead Isha spends a few moments just staring upwards and gauging her opponent.

He seemed eager to fight at first, walking down the tree and showing off like he had something to prove, but once Isha had started to insult the man he’d quickly given up.  Most of the adults Isha had interactions with were quite different.  They’d remain passive at first and lean more towards violence only after started to spout off at the mouth and poke at their temper limitations.   As quiet once more settles over their little portion of the woods the serenity of the surroundings becomes obvious once again.  In the passing moments of calm it dawns on Isha that Yoroi might be one of those weird types that just liked to stare at rivers and meditate.  Priestly types really grated on her nerves with their endless patience, immediate forgiveness and complete lack of an inner fire.  On the other hand, most of that irksome sort didn’t sling insults or threats.

Isha pipes up to let her voice be heard again, though she isn’t exactly yelling.  Well you’re no fun!  Most people wouldn’t take that sort of treatment from some random stranger they met in the forest.

She simply had to be sure just who she was dealing with, so escalation was her obvious choice.  A mischievous little grin creases her lips as she drags her hands up in front of her.  Let it not be said she gave the man no chance to defend.  Indeed, her voice once more fills the forest, this time an energetic and eager shout.  Wind style she yells as she weaves quickly through the few needed hand seals.  Great Breakthrough!  The jutsu is a common one, known well among even the lowest level of those attuned to Fuuton.  She inhales a great breath and then holds it for a brief moment.  With her next heartbeat she exhales not a breath, but a truly fearsome gale of wind, a nearly hurricane force gust which tears upwards from her mouth into the leaves and branches of the trees above her.

The jutsu is not one aimed directly at Yoroi, for that would be uncalled for.  While Isha did value taunting people as a general past time, she never resorted to actually harming others without a reason.  Branches of the trees bend and break as leaves and moss join the windstorm and scatter upwards like some manner of choking green fog.  The tree itself bends with the wind, creaking as all of its branches come alive like a scarecrow caught in a tornado.  While it might have been enough to knock an unprepared person right out of the tree, Isha suspected that her jutsu would accomplish little more than fanning the flames of irritation already smoldering within the man.  While no trees would be killed in the making of the jutsu, there was a good chance the odd squirrel or bird might end up homeless. The little Inuzuka did not care about that, because there was fun to be had.

Yoroi Kaguya

Not getting the kind of response he had hoped for, it seemed that Isha had very different plans and ideas as to how their encounter should meet an end. It was quite funny to hear her say that most people wouldn't just accept this kind of treatment from a total stranger, which was exactly what the problem with the whole situation was. In his eyes, she was a member of the village he served, or at least served in his own opinion, though he had never met her before. In her eyes, he was a stranger and was being treated as such as well. In a way, he could understand that she would treat him this way due to his lack of a head band, though most people somehow knew him without needing it. That said, even if he was a Nukenin trying to make it appear that he was a member of the Hidden Leaf, it was always the best idea to just go with the flow of things and treat them like their plan is a success, getting them to talk about themselves and trying to find out as much as possible about them before springing the trap once enough information had been gathered. The gathering of information was always incredibly important and vital when handling possible threats, meaning it was not smart to jump to conclusions and go head first into battle.

On the subject of gathering information about questionable people, Yoroi had never once taken his eye off of the kid because she had never left him alone as requested. Had he not been paying attention to the girl and her dog, chances were that he would not have noticed her preparations for a ninjutsu until it had been fired straight at him. Rising to his feet, he remained in a squatting position, ready to either stand his ground or move out of the way of whatever might come at him. Hearing the words she spoke, he knew that it was not the kind of technique he could simply withstand by not moving unless he wanted to be sent flying through the air from an already elevated position. The moment she inhaled after forming the seals and inhaling deeply, Yoroi made his own move. Instead of sticking around, Yoroi moved out of the way with a gentle step, he fell down to ground level from where he watched the girl exhale a powerful blast of wind that ripped a large part out of the tree moments after his feet hit the soil. Watching as it blew away the top of the tree with a roaring concussive blast, he could tell that the blast had not been aimed straight at him, deducing that she had merely been trying to provoke him into fighting her. Whether this would be a good idea or not would prove itself soon enough, for now, he would play along.

Before he went on the offensive, he quickly processed what he had seen and worked it into a personal profile for the girl. From the look of things, he now knew that the girl was one of the people that used the elemental nature of wind, one Yoroi had not seen all that often in his life as a shinobi. Though he knew about the majority of wind's power, he also knew that a select few had most likely been capable of creating new techniques that were not just cutting or concussive. That said, a kid of this level most likely stuck to the latter two forms of wind style, making her not much of a threat, though still being interested in seeing which techniques this kid had managed to learn since her academy days. Still, anything he could find out through this encounter would add more information to the mental profile he made of Isha Inuzuka. With his shirt clenched in his right hand, he looked at the kid to see whether she would have another unkind response waiting to be fired at him. It was to be expected of her. Standing ready to engage as soon as the kid made her next move, he figured he'd have one last thing to say to her before they would enter into combat. Though he doubted that it would remotely be a fight, it would at least be fun to see the kid try and dent his defenses.

"Is that really all an Inuzuka can do? I thought you'd at least be stronger than this. If you wanted to fight me this badly, you could have just said so without the verbal aggression and the use of Ninjutsu.".

Yoroi was not the kind of guy that was easily mocked into fighting someone, something he had shown when he abandoned the notion of fighting the kid as soon as she started to call him out, finding provocation a low form of combat initiation. What Yoroi told the kid was not a provocation, it was something he had deduced when he watched her behavior and her attack that served solely as a means of drawing him out of his spot, a spot that had been torn apart by breaking winds. Keeping his eyes locked on his acquired targets, he wondered which of the two would act as a diversion. Maintaining his usual cold expression, he would not show that he was in fact quite interested in seeing what a member of the Inuzuka could do first hand. If she, however, went to do the same thing as before and back out yet again, he would not give her a third chance.

Isha remains atop her canine friend, not sitting but standing over his rear legs as though he were her stage.  Gizmo does not seem the least bothered by the her slight form standing there, and just remains still with his ears perked and nose constantly sniffing.  Slipping past his senses, even if he wasn’t looking at you, was a challenge for even the stealthiest ninja.  Isha reaches into a pouch as the wind settles and the forest above ceases in raining down a litter of loose leaves twigs and small sticks.  Out comes a trusty kunai, a well worn piece of sharpened steel with a ring on the back, and looking like it could use a good sharpening.  It looked like it’d seen days, or weeks, of being thrown against a solid wooden plank without resharpening, but the girl wielding it still smiled brightly when it made its appearance.

Of course, no immediate combat would come of the knife’s appearance, instead just more words and laughter.  This time it’s just an amused chuckle at his words, and a shake of her head before speaking.  Oh come on, where would the fun be in that?  Besides, you can learn a lot about someone by picking on them.  You can learn about their courage and their temper, their level of forgiveness, and how soft of a heart they have.  For example, I’ve learned things about you.  You like to fight, but you are not exactly violent.  You are confident, you are most likely very skilled, and above all you’re not going to just try to kill me during some practice just cause I manage to scratch you up some.  These are all important things to know, before you let someone get close to you, but not all I learned.  Isha’s grin grows wider and wider as she speaks, the kunai now resting on her pinky.  With little twitches of muscle she keeps the knife spinning around the finger by the ring on the end of it.

You’re also repetitive, and somewhat predictable in your reactions.  Maybe not as predictable in a brawl, but you respond the way about eighty percent of the villagers do to my taunting and jeering.  Based on the way you prepare to fight I’d have to wager you are most likely a taijutsu user.  I’ll go out on a limb here and say you’re also a ninjutsu user, but I won’t completely ignore the fact that you might be adept with genjutsu, or fuuinjutsu over the previous assumption.  But, there are still some things I haven’t quite learned, which do worry me some.  I don’t know your clan.   You’ve got those things on your shoulders but I don’t know what sort of markings those were. She points a finger at his shoulders, and the typical Kaguya marks now once more covered by his clothing.  At least she was honest when she was clueless.  I don’t know your elements, but I suspect them to be..  hmm..  Water and Earth.  You seem like a water type, all slow and meandering and tranquil.  At the same time, you don’t strike me as the fire type.  You certainly don’t have a wind born personality, and lightning..  I dunno, just doesn’t feel right.  You seem too restrained to be one of the more energetic elemental types.  So, Earth.

Isha nods and takes a step forward, landing easily behind the dog and giving Gizmo freedom to move once more.  In a snap the large white husky spins around to face Yoroi.  Yeah, I know. She mutters at the dog, then looks back up towards Yoroi. You also bathe to much.  You reek of soap and detergents.  Makes you real easy to sniff out in the woods.  You should cover yourself with dirt and moss and grass if you wanna hide out in the woods.  Isha begins walking forward once her little speech is done, the twirling of her kunai ceasing suddenly as she releases it for a moment and lets it flip through the air.  She swings her hand and swipes it easily out of the air and into her traditional point down fighting grip.  Anyway, let’s go ahead and get this started.  Should be fun!

After the last words, Isha runs forward with glee.  If there’s one thing to be remarked about, it is her speed.  She seems to be completely lacking.  She’s well below average in her frontal assault, and seems to lack the speed once might expect from her smaller frame.  Unlike most Inuzuka she’s still up on two legs, and her dog is just watching as she runs off.  Gizmo seems uninterested in joining the fight and even goes so far to just sit down and yawn widely.  Isha’s completely unimpressive headlong assault is akin to a beginning academy student’s first attempt at combat, but she’d get there in time.  The fight starts with Isha on the offensive, a single swipe of her kunai aiming towards Yoroi’s chest and following through with enough force to actually twist her body around.  The single swipe is followed up seamlessly with a lifting of her right heel and a sweeping backwards kick towards her opponent’s side just below his ribs.  All of it was so slow, however, and avoiding, blocking, or simply counter attacking would be child’s play.

Yoroi Kaguya

After he had given the first move to the girl, he had not expected that she would first start talking as opposed to simply heading in to keep fighting. In a way, her provocations had riled him into a spar, even though the last one had gotten out of hand. Even though the spar he had taken part in had been a friendly one, he could not help but defend himself against a strike that could have killed him if he had not done what he did. Because of it, he had made a name for himself as the strongest of the Sennin, though Kimiko saw him as nothing more than a child that had something to prove. In a way, it was true that he had something to prove to the man, though he would not have lacerated him in a friendly spar if he had not come at him with the intention of killing him with a sword. Listening closely to what the kid had to say to him, it seemed that she too had been making a bit of a profile for the Sennin. Bringing up a lot of fair points, she proved that Yoroi had not been wrong when he thought about the potential the kid had, the potential she was wasting by behaving like a brat. While she was talking to him, he could not help but think that Kimiko considered him to be just like her in the sense that she had called him a child. No, the two behaved in completely different ways, even though they both made attempts at figuring out the personal traits and skills of the other.

He thought that it was quite funny how she tried to guess what his elemental natures were, picking one he actually had and another he had not seen a whole lot before. Earth and Wind were among the elemental natures he had not been fighting much, though he had the means to effectively counter both. It was interesting that the girl called him a water time, calling him tranquil and slow, two of the things he did not mind being when out of combat due to the fact that it made him look less assertive. When he was angry, that was when he took on aspects of fire, becoming highly destructive and volatile. Yoroi often believed that lightning was the type that hovered between water and fire, being a destructive, yet balanced current. Lightning was his favorite element, finding that it worked perfectly with his Taijutsu and had some interesting mid to long ranged uses that allowed it to be used at almost every range. Once she had stopped talking, it seemed that Isha was finally ready to start the fight she had so eagerly been trying to draw out of him. With an aged kunai in hand, she started rushing towards him at a pace that could easily be outran if he so chose, though he would do no such thing. Remaining in his original location, he made sure to put out a brief statement that would end moments before she got within range.

"You're right, I would refrain from killing people during a spar, even if they deserve to be slain, though some people would claim otherwise. As for my fighting capabilities and elemental natures, you're not entirely wrong, but not quite right either. I'll let you see which are wrong and which are right, if you can make me use them that is.".

Making sure to adjust his own speed to that of the kid, he maintained a speed that was only slightly above her own, letting his own senses pick up as much as he could about the kid. If she accelerated, he would accelerate just enough to make sure that he would be able to outmatch her, effectively staying one step ahead of her at all times. As her attacks started, he quickly established that this kid was fairly capable as a Taijutsu combatant. It was widely known that the Inuzuka relied on Taijutsu that could be synchronized with their pet hound, so that much did not really come as much of a shock to him. To a Taijutsu user like himself, it was not that hard to discern what kind of move she would most likely be trying to pull next, even more so because of the speed at which she was moving. Effortlessly side stepping the kunai she sliced at him, he took several mental notes about her fighting style so that he would not forget about the things she could do, just in case they ever got to go on a mission in the future. That said, he could not help but document everything he saw about his adversary, no matter if they were friend or foe. Information was important, perhaps the most important and vital thing in the world. Without power to act on the information gained, one could only do so much, which was exactly what made Yoroi into a powerful and feared combatant.

His Sennin rank had not come to him as a mere prize, it was something he had earned through years of hard work and a life of struggle. The title of youngest Sennin in the entire world was something he took pride in, both because he had beaten his sister in terms of age and even become one a year before Toshiro himself did. Following up on the kunai strike, the girl made a spin that was a lot like one of Yoroi's own techniques. It was a momentum generating spin that would be followed up by another physical technique that would turn the generated power into a more powerful blow. Raising his knee, he set up a block for the incoming kick before angling it to the side in an attempt to knock her out of balance. Not setting up any follow up attack of his own, he just kept his eyes and ears open to see how she would respond, all the while awaiting a possible secondary attack from the hound. During her attack, Yoroi thought he saw signs shown by people that were not functioning at their full potential, a thing he could see due to the fact that he never really unleashed his own full potential upon others and always held himself back as well. Finding it to be too early to call her out on it, he would see whether or not this was true by observing her just a bit longer.
