It sucks to see you leave too, I mean, Amy already left and now you're leaving too. I don't know what happened, but I don't think you should leave the site. You have a nice character going, it's a shame to give up on that.

I am just a noob and my opinion doesn't have any real weight. But I have read a number of your post and thought they were great. Sorry to hear of your departure and maybe you'll reconsider or come back to us in the near future.

I don't know if this has anything to do with Lexi's less than stellar representation of staff or the fact that Forum's Suggestion actually smugly beats down any suggestions you may put up or because the site's rules and mechanics do everything in their power to restrict creativity that I know you are full of, but if that is indeed the case, if that is the actual reason you consider leaving...

I have no right to ask you to not leave, I am honestly nobody for you, just someone who liked your writting and having you around. Know that I supported and still do support your side. That reply was very rude which showed behavior that should not be demonstrated by a Staff member and yes I know that on US even such behavior is pretty much a norm at this point.

All I ask of you is a consideration if your departure is actually worth it, maybe we can still work things out. I felt just the same when Amy left, I just wanted to just follow her and do my own departure topic, Hell, with the Uni year incoming I may be following the departing path. I just want you to know, whatever you decide, that I support your side. Lexi's reply was unfit for a Staff member and if I didn't know any better I'd expect some consideration from Staff that perhaps for a person with her personality to be a part of site's management is not what's best for the site.

Hi, I just wanted to say like Ruka you don't really know me. I do however have something to say on the matter. It's sad to say, but I've seen many people leave sites for many reasons. The worst in my opinion is leaving due to someone being rude or bullying another. To see that hard work someone's put into a character go to waste just because someone's attitude isn't what it should be on mature site. All I can say is that leaving due to someone being rude or cruel isn't the only option. In fact it is one of the worst. You'll be letting all of that dedication go to waste and the good times be tainted so even though you don't really know me I hope you'd reconsider your choice.

Hopefully you'll find a better site soon. And if you do drop me a line so I can give it a once-over. At the rate US is going I'm expecting it to die again in another 12 months and for the same reasons as before too. Mostly staff being their usual circle-jerking ego-stroking selves who have less understanding of the rules than the majority of the members.

And Ruka - get used to it. Behind the smiles the bulk of the staff is like that. And the ones who aren't lack the spine to do what needs to be done to force a change.

Trey and I are doing our best to resolve this situation. We really hope you can afford one or both of us the time soon on skype, failing that at least some PM exchanges. You've been a part of a loyal group on this site that has stuck by us through thick and thin and it would be a shame to lose you over something like this.

In my personal opinion Lexi's post without question showed a lack of professionalism. It honestly annoyed me when I read it, and it wasn't even directed towards me. With that being said is she really operating in a modus different from other staff members? I would say no. There are those staff members who you can ask anything and they will never make you feel bad about asking a question. There are others who will answer your question in one sentence and spend five more telling you why you're incompetent.

However, with that being said Lexi has been very active and responsive as a staff member. Which can't be said for all staff members for various reasons, many of which are valid reasons and others maybe not so much. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. I guess what I am saying is I want Strawbs to stay, but I don't want to see Lexi removed from staff. I hope this comes to a sound resolution were both stay and feel comfortable on US. I appreciate what both of them offer and how they enrich the US experience.

Soooooo I saw this topic and was like ohhhhhhh no and then I realized it was from yesterday and read through to the bottom and was relieved. As far as I can see you're a well-loved member of this site and it would be a terrible loss if you left. With everyone leaving lately it has to suck. Glad to see you at least try and stick through finishing your topics up Smile
