We Are the Parabrahma [OPEN WORLDWIDE EVENT]

Backstory: The Parabrahma as a concept was invented soon after the creation of the First Great Ninja villages. The idea was to shelter society‘s rejects, those that were rejected by their peers for their history, strange bloodlines or because they hosted Bijuu in their bodies. It was an organization that strived to gather such people together and see if their abilities cannot be put to use for something different than revenge and destruction of those that wronged and exiled them.

The Parabrahma has existed all throughout the history, as long as there was human hate, as long as people ran away from home looking for shelter for their rejection the Parabrahma welcomed them within their ranks. They continued to work, put the abilities of those people at use however they never stepped into the light because most leaders of the organization knew that if they would – they would just be rejected again. They were noble people who sacrificed themselves to aid the world that fears and rejects them, the madness that such pitiful existence brings was only quenched by brothers and sisters of similar fate.

Those within the Parabrahma were free to leave at any point of their membership, they were however covered with seals of silence because the other members did not wish for their fate to become known to those that rejected them. And so since the organization reformed, taught many of the society’s rejects how to properly control and use their abilities, gave them new purpose in life, some members returned and successfully reintegrated into their past lives. Many of them have become influential and powerful using the newfound control and influence that the Parabrahma granted them.

Soon Parabrahma had ex-members and even current members within every village of the world, every Country, every institution. They did not abuse that power, however, the Parabrahma had various goals, the organization was ruled with democracy with the councils being moderated by its current leader. Once one leader died, a new one was elected and the organization kept discussing and making new goals to strive for while staying completely in the shade. Usually their goals were small: save people from destroyed villages, shelter children and capture nukenin roaming the countries. That all changed…

Once the current leader whose name is unknown took the wheel of the organization he started voicing his desire to change the world. His voice got lost within the organization’s ranks initially – the democracy kept peace in the world. However the young man was smart, one by one he got all of the organization’s members killed off, whether by waiting until they die of old age or sending them to noble yet impossible missions. Then he started recruiting new rejects, more spiteful and angry, more willing to agree with his goals and like that he shaped the organization and manipulated its democratic nature to fit his goals better.

There was only one member who constantly did not die and oppose the leader’s goals – a head of Konohagakure’s Foundation, who was also a long time member alongside his wife, known in Konohagakure only as “the Lady”. However the man’s life was soon also claimed by old age and the Organization found itself unopposed with their goals. The leader’s desire for ninja supremacy over common folk was now completely unlimited and unleashed. The leader of the Parabrahma shaped a plan to establish a new world order – a world where ninja are the superior beings, those with chakra manipulation are true citizens of this new world whereas those without only live to serve them. They are not people, they are just items for those with the power to mold chakra to use as they see fit.

For this plan to work the organization has to remove the current heads of the Countries. They have to take over every single one of the ninja villages and every Country, to do that they must remain unopposed. The Parabrahma knows that once the Daimyo find out of their existence and plans they will gather and force the Kage to cooperate, the United Shinobi Army would soon defeat them. For that reason they will strike at the Daimyo first, eliminate the heads of the Countries and then while the Kage bicker and point fingers at each other – the Parabrahma will attack and kill them, taking over the entire world, leaving it up to them to shape as they see fit.

The first obstacle in their way was the wife of the deceased member – “Lady”, who spoke with Nakotsumi Mana – a Sennin of Konohagakure with clues, allowing the young woman to figure out what was going on. The young kunoichi soon faced off and defeated a member of the Parabrahma as he tried to interrupt and slaughter everyone at the Genin Tournament which was going on at the time. The young lady managed to gather enough clues from the defeated member to get the full picture. She departed to the Kumogakure soon after in order to gather help to stop the Parabrahma.

Rules:

[*]Any number of ninja can sign up for the missions, this includes nukenin and ninja from each country. The danger at hand is too great to bicker about differences and forces unlikely people to work together – that doesn’t mean you have to like it, but you NEED their help so you must tolerate it.

[*]It doesn’t matter what rank you are of, the number of ninja taking part is not limited, you can even bring your own NPCs. As long as they are approved in accordance to the NPC rules and they follow the NPC combat rules.

[*]This is a dynamic event, meaning that after each mission is completed the next mission will be put up depending on the success of the ninja taking part in the event. If all of the ninja are beaten and no information is gathered the event will be treated as a failure with possible unfortunate consequences in the future. The process of the event depends on how well each mission goes, so do your best!

[*]The event will move around the world, if you're hesitant to travel to another country to take part in it, it will most likely come to your place at some point. It will have missions going on in each of the Countries.

[*]There is no DEATH in this event, the enemy are incredibly powerful but the worst that can happen to your character is a [DEFEATED] state. When your character is supposed to die they will survive their injuries and be brought to the hospital. If that happens you will have to spend 5 OOC days in the Hospital but you are still going to get your reward for taking part so don’t be discouraged. Your character will only die if you wish to kill them off but can’t get the right occasion to do so. That also counts for any backstabs from your “allies”, just to discourage OOC foulplay.

[*]Each member taking part in the mission will be rewarded the points they get for an S rank mission (with full rank bonus). Any surviving members will also be awarded 25 extra AF for EACH mission they take part in and any [DEFEATED] members will still be rewarded 10 AF for their effort. Each character will also be immortalized in the Plot Characters page with each of the Parabrahma members’ page having a list of characters who opposed them. Once the event is over, they will also become famous as ninja who fought for the fate of the world so you may reference this event in order to make your character look more badass!

[*]Sign-ups for each mission will be open for 14 days, if there are many people taking part the mission will be split into several battlefields with differing objectives just to keep order in the topics. A 72 hour rule will be enforced just to keep the event going, that does not mean that if you do not post for 72 hours your character will be [DEFEATED] however as there may be many comrades who may have your back. The person will just be skipped with the battle continuing and they can join back in whenever they are able to. This is done to ensure efficient and optimal experience for everyone and proper progression of the plot.

[*]The members involved will have to make travel topics. You can travel with others involved in the mission and will be assumed to be within contact distance of other parties so don’t be afraid to be attacked while traveling – help will be close.

OPEN MISSIONS

Mission Title: Battle of Inari Mountain
Mission Type: Custom
Mission Location: Lightning Country [Ninja from any Country can take part (Nukenin included)]
Shinobi Requirement: at least 1 S-rank Ninja + Any number of ninja
Mission Rank: S
Mission Objective: According to intelligence gathered from a captured member of criminal organization, the said organization intends to kill the Lightning Lord. Due to the surfaced information the Lightning Lord was attempted to be moved to Kumogakure so that in order to kill him the organization would have to siege the village itself. However the Daimyo refused and the consensus was reached to move him to a safe-house in a mountain range of Inari Mountain – a mansion surrounded by mountains from each side making it difficult to siege. The ninja involved are tasked with protection of the Lightning Lord and capture of at least one of the members involved in the attack for interrogation for the location of their next move.

Participants & Objectives:

1. Reports reach the HQ at the Inari Mountain that a single cloaked figure is moving straight at the safe-house. The sensory units confirm that the chakra signature of the said figure is too immense for it to be anything less than the real thing. A two man squad is deployed to scout the situation, identify the figure and, if possible, a quick hit-and-retreat assault trying to either assassinate, incapacitate or disable the target. In order to succeed with the mission: [1] Information on the specific member needs to be reported to the HQ: either his ability or his appearance beyond just his cloak which will let the member be identified. [2] The member is either interrogated, captured or killed. The mission is failed if both members are taken out and no information is conveyed: [Ansatsu Buntai: Hiruzen Uchiha & Jestre]

2. The Sensory division at the safe-house identifies an incredibly large amount of small signatures with strange chakra signals coming off of them. It is highly believed that it is some sort of diversion as the number of the signatures resemble that of a small army however their size suggests that the “Army” is barely alive. A large squad of ninja is sent to investigate and if possible disable the threat. If the army reached the safe-house it would be hard to defend it from all of them and they would prove a worthy distraction for the squads fighting the Parabrahma so it is incredibly important that the army is removed from the picture. 3. An incredibly powerful chakra signature is picked up and the small barricades separating the mansion territory from the mountain range has been destroyed and all the protecting members killed. There is a high possibility of a Parabrahma member being involved so a team of ninja are dispatched to tackle the threat. The objective is to reach the abandoned and destroyed barracks where the guards resided in, where the member is likely located and defeat them. It would be great if interrogation of Parabrahma’s future plans would be done as well however the immediate objective is to stop the threat of the Parabrahma member. 4. Just as the battle looks all planned out and under control reports come of a gigantic monstrous figure the size of a mountain looking over the mountain range. An immediate response team is put together before the threat is identified to be the deceased Parabrahma puppeteer – Kijin, Ishi. He was likely brought back by the Parabrahma to fight their battles, the means of his return are unknown so a large squad is sent to tackle the threat. I know there isn't a limit to the number of people who can participate, but perhaps at this point, we should consider splitting the mission into multiple objectives, with a small group attending each one.

Because of GotG taught us anything, it's that managing a single thread with this many people in it is a nightmare.

Updated the roster. Don't worry, while the number of interested people way surpasses what I expected it to be (at least for the first mission) I will split it up into several topics. Most likely there'll be several "battlefields" to keep things more organized but it will all count as the same mission technically. I will try to take in mind what you left in your notes when making those. I'll try to leave the number of people per topic at about 4-5 so the number of mini-objectives will depend on the total number of people.

I will tell for sure how things will go after the sign up period is complete as well as split people for the objectives having things like allegiances, prefered teammates or specialization in mind.

What about the installation of a squad of sp chuunin or sp jounin for the genin to face as a side mission? Chances are they Wouldn't be tasked with a jounin or s rank anyway

I am currently working on some side missions, there will be one smaller sub event however the role of most genin would most likely be supportive of the higher ranked ninja, there will most likely not be an army of thugs to take on etc...
