It was outstanding to have such glorious weather on the opening day of the third examinations. Swarms of people rushed through the entrances of the Chaos Arena of Kirigakure no Sato. Today was the beginning of what everybody was waiting for. The anticipation of this round of the examinations was the largest of all the trials the Genin were undergoing. Mainly because they would be watched under a fine microscope from more than just a proctor, an arena full of people were all here to see the final eight young shinobi battle it out to prove to the three Kages of importance; The Mizukage, The Raikage and The Kazekage. All who were here in Kirigakure to oversee this stage of the exams that would be done in a period of three days, the final eight would fight one against the other for a spot in the Semi Finals, which would consist of four shinobi on the second day, who would repeat this process to have two left for the Grand Finale on the third day. The day was perfect, the sun was not too bright, but provided plenty of shine and plenty of warmth for the prestigious and traditional event. Arashii dressed in his traditional Mizukage outfit as he approached the arena with Ahora, as well as two Jounin escorts. He approached his private booth which was located high up the Arena’s levels but close enough to get a perfect view of the battleground below. There were two matching boxes for both the Raikage and Kazekage and two other boxes that were larger yet slightly less luxurious for other important VIP’s such as the Daimyo’s and Lords of lesser nations as well as famous shinobi and noblemen of other lands. There were stands surrounding the entire Arena, mostly filled with residents of Kirigakure due to it being their home turf, but there was a large array of guests from various nations, including large portions of Sunagakure and Kumogakure residents. Arashii sat in his seat as he began looking over the schedule, only one more shinobi from Kirigakure, surely the boost the home crowd would give him would help him out, but it wasn’t looking good for the hosting village this year with only one competitor left.

The Mizukage looked down to the arena’s surface, happy with its end result in the very centre of the field, which was a twenty-five metre radius with ten metre high stone smooth stone walls surrounding the entire ground area. The terrain was mostly grass but there was a dirty patch right in the centre of the arena that was left there to see give the competitors a different terrain. They had really gone all out with this arena. On the eastern section of the arena sat a small yet deep pool of cleansed water that would be refilled in between each exam if it was used. The water source was approximately five metres wide and was right up against the wall, and was believed to be about ten metres deep. Limited trees were spread out around the arena, only a dozen in total all near arena’s walls, with one or two bushes next to them. The terrain was mostly flat and open but on the north-west section of the arena was a slight sloped area that was half a metre above the rest of the flooring and was about five metres wide, starting right from the wall.

All these different features gave opportunities for all types of shinobi the arena was set, it was time for Arashii to begin this exciting event. Arashii stood from his chair, Ahora remained sitting in the chair next to his as his two escorts stood at the entrance of his private box. Arashii channelled chakra into his voice allowing him to project it all the way through the arena. “The first round of the Third Examination begins now!” The audience began to cheer stridently as Arashii waiting for them to calm down before continuing. “The first match will begin now, the competitors will be Hara, Tsukina of Sunagakure-” The Sunagakure shinobi in the crowd clapped and cheered for the Genin of their hometown as Arashii announced the second competitor. And her opponent, from Kumogakure; Ryuzaki, Kyo” The Kumogakure shinobi mimicked the actions of the Sunagakure shinobi cheering for the Genin that represented their village. Arashii knew of this boy Kyo, he proctored him for the second examination, he did a great job of passing it; he sat back down in his seat excited for the match to begin, as the two competitors entered the field. Tsukina from the north and Kyo from the south, approaching the middle until they were ten metres apart. The bell was rung as the vibrations of the sound hollowed throughout the entire area, the match had begun.

-This exam is on a STRICT 48 hour post requirement, if you fail to post in 48 hours after your opponent you are automatically disqualified.
-You are the only two who are permitted to post here, although people were mentioned that was only for plot and scenario purposes.
-This exam does not have a completition date, as I said, it's a 48 hour post requirement so we expect it done quickly, if it continues due to continuous dodging, I'll proctor it like I'm supposed to and come to a conclusion.
-If you exit the ground floor you will be disqualified, by no means should you harm the audience, you can however use the wall as a weapon or a surface to run on.
-Be elaborate with your jutsu, explain it. Don't confuse your opponent, all jutsu are required to be attached at the bottom of a thread via a quote or a spoiler, it is not to be messy.
-All standard roleplaying rules apply.
-This is the first time you have heard of your opponent, unless you have met them in character before which you shouldn't have you do not know their abilities, so far you will only know they village and their name from my announcement.

Participant Number One: Ryuzaki Kyo

The morning of the exam was finally here and what does that mean? Why the third round of the Chuunin exams is about to start. Amongst the eight contestants in this round of exams, Ryuzaki Kyo was one of them. He was starting to come downstairs from his room after getting ready for the day. He had on his normal clothing for to go out in ninja duties. This outfit he had on was a black jacket with a fur like substance going around in its collar. The fur like substance was actually part of his hoodie that was placed behind him since he did not have it over his head. He also wore his black fingerless gloves, a signature article of clothing that both he and his brother, Blaize, wore. He also had on his black pants as well as shoes that matched his jacket. Two holster one on each side of the leg and scroll pouches, four on each side of the chest portion of the jacket. Kyo had already thought of ways to take on the next test. He knew that it was going to be a tournament style of round but, he did not know how many participants or how the field would even look like. The whole idea of this was to prepare for any and all situations and show he did, the efforts of it being shown in the living room table. The living room table had all sorts of ninja gear on it. There was an open scroll with some simple seals attached to them, Kunai with wires attached to them, paper bombs, and smokescreen balls. Most of these equipments were brought for the sole purpose of these exams. Some of these items were not items he would chose to go on mission but he liked the fact of something new and it would help in his unknowing terrain of battle.

He started to set up his equipment in the appropriate parts in his ninja gear. He started with his kunai with wires in the holster except for two, one on each side of his arm. The smokescreen bomb was placed in the holster as well as he started to place the last remaining kunai in the holster he started to place a potassium bomb in its circular spot for an extra surprise. The help of getting his new equipment was for the help of his mentor. His mentor got some basic supplies in the local Kiri weapon shop when Kyo was taking the second exam. He had told Kyo that he must be prepared for whatever happened in these exams and you never know when you need these items. He places the paper bombs in his ninja pouch and the rest of the items in various places. He then placed his scrolls on his scroll pouch. He picked up his last scroll and placed it in its pouch as he sighed in relief after the preparations were met. He then started to hear a familiar voice from the kitchen. It was his mentor wanting to speak to him. He walked over to the kitchen but was then stopped by his voice. “Never mind Kyo, I wanted to make sure you had everything that you needed but that isn’t necessary now. Enjoy the exams. I will be there shortly I just have to stop at some places first. Remember this is the last part of your agreement with Kumo you are now allowed to be a full time resident here. The rest of the exams is for your purpose only. Good luck I know you will do well.” He was right. As Kyo left the hotel he started to walk to the arena, while he was walking he started to think about what his mentor had said. In which he started to think to himself. “He was right I did fill those duties and now it is time for me to do this on my own. For the sake of me and my Brother”

The whole deal with Kyo was that he got a temporary residency in the land of lightning after bringing his mentor’s daughter from a neighboring land. After rescuing her from a group of bandits his mentor offered to let Kyo stay as a reward and then let him come to stay as a Kumo resident. As that happened his mentor made every possible request to get Kyo to stay. He was granted permission to stay with only one rule: To participate in the upcoming Chuunin exams. To this day he has done it. He has past the written exam and the exam with the stepping stone. Now he was on the final rounds of the Chuunin exam, with that in mind he now filled the requirement of his agreement and now is a full resident in Kumo. For now he will be representing his country, his new home, in this battle of the Chuunin exams. This was also a test to prove how he will rank up in the systems of the shinobi world. He has heard that His brother was a Chuunin in Suna but that was many months ago. Hopefully there was still time for him to catch up. He was his older brother and had more skill then his brother but in the world of the shinobi, that is a whole different story. The time he took now on memory lane has made him arrive in the arena in the real world. Now that he had entered he waited until the Mizukage had announced the matches. And there they were the first match was his match. His match was between a person from Suna, the same village as his younger brother. Maybe she knew of him, maybe she didn’t. Now all of that has to go in the back of his memory banks for now it was time to focus on the match and the terrain. As he walked to the battle arena’s center he started to look at the terrain and try to make sure he understood the landscape. There were grasslands that mainly overtook the area, with trees around the area with some bushes right next to them. A portion of the battle field was with water and another was a spot of elevated ground that was a bit higher than the rest of the terrain. Then you had what he was standing on dirt, normal ground on the floor. As soon as he placed all of this in his memory he looked at his opponent. He started to try to get her image in his head and her style as well. First impressions make lasting impressions to the other person and he wanted to make sure he could get enough information to help him with this match. It was a match after all and he wanted to make sure he was prepared. He started to take two kunai from his holster, one a normal kunai in his left hand, the other a kunai with wire around its end on his right hand. He then started to speak to his opponent as he gave the formal introductions.

” Well as you may already herd, my name is Ryuzaki, Kyo. It is nice to meet you. Let’s make this match one that everyone would remember, shall we?” As he said that he took into account of the roar and cheer from each of the members in the audience. He was watched by everyone in each of the villages that were taking part of these exams. These also included his mentor from Kumo and village members of his brother’s and his opponent’s village, Suna. He wondered if his younger brother was there. Or if he even knew that he was in Kumo? If so then he had to make sure he would continue to impress his younger brother, no this was about him to achieve a better understand of himself and the life that he has chosen to life. The battle is now.

♣ Participant Number Two: Hara Tsukina ♣

The current hotel room Tsukina Hara was staying in did not feel like home. She had not awoken from her slumber by one of her loving parents, but instead by an obnoxiously loud banging on her door. Further more, she was not in the comfort of her own bedroom nor the hot and extravagant hometown of Sungakure no Sato. Perhaps the green haired girl was just being a little bit of a sissy? The fact that it was now the day of the third part of the Chuunin Exams set a somewhat uneasy knot within her stomach. She had confidence, but realistically speaking, she hadn't done as well as she had been striving for in the second part of the Chuunin Exams with those ever so devious stepping stones and was beginning to realize she would need more training and improvement in skill. Certainly their was no current time for training now, but she definitely locked the idea away for another and better time. Tsukina wasn't going to allow herself to mull on any passing negative thoughts concerning the exam and left the quaint bed she had been laying on to prepare herself.

She ran her petite fingers over the various clothing articles she had packed for the trip to Kirigakure no Sato and peered down at them with an indecisive expression. The weather was considerably different between Suna and Kiri, in the kunoichi's mind. What was the weather like today in the foreign land? Tsukina groggily rubbed her eyes and pushed back the scratchy quality of the curtains to gaze out her hotel room's window. Beams of sunshine filtered and hit through the windows; leaving the unsuspecting green haired girl rather stunned with it's light. With a few hard blinks, the kunoichi found herself fully awake. "Oo, spiffy!" she stated quite happily. She went back to pulling out clothing to wear. It was simple what she chose; white tank top, khaki cargo shorts, and brown flip flops. She would be comfortable with her attire given the current weather and also move freely; perfect considering she often used Taijutsu. After combing her verdant uneven locks and securely placing her red goggles atop her head; hip pouch supplied with kunai, smoke balls, and items alike; it left one final and quite vital deed to do. Breakfast.

It was true the athletic and adventurous kunoichi was a big eater; breakfast being one of her favorite times to eat. So, you could only imagine the need for her stomach to be full and satisfied, especially before putting up a fight. Tsukina rushed out of the hotel and to the nearest restaurant. She was just so thankful to have enough time to eat a meal. Or rather, the preferred type of meal. Upon entering the restaurant and making herself over to a table; the kunoichi's mouth salivated at the smell of all the scrumptious cooking going on behind the scenes. Boy, the waitress had another thing coming. "I'll have... Two Over Medium Eggs, Two Slices of Ham, Four Bacon Strips, Apple Slices, Glass of Orange Juice, and a piece of toast." she ordered before adding in a 'please' and 'thank you'. The waitress rose her eyebrows in surprise and almost considered questioning the order, but followed through none the less. Upon being served shortly after, Tsukina gobbled up the food one by one. Waitresses occasionally watched on; startled by the girl's large appetite, but remained mute on addressing the topic.

Even more surprisingly, the kunoichi found herself eating a relatively steady and speedy manner without suffering any drawbacks. Fifteen minutes went by before she found herself finished, childishly clapping in joy with the scrumptious meal. A waitress promptly arrived by her side with the bill. "That was delicious! I'll definitely be ready for the Chuunin Exams with a full stomach of yummy food!" she cheered while setting out the money and standing up from her table. As if playing a game of telephone, whispering began going down the tables and as well with the waitresses. "Chuunin Exams? You're participating?" Tsukina's current waitress questioned with more disbelief from what was going on. "Sure am! I probably need to get going, now, though!" she answered, receiving nods in agreement. Then she was off.

It didn't take very long before she arrived at the 'Chaos Arena'. Not a very pleasing title, but it was only to be expected. Rows and rows of citizens stretched along with arena, appearing as overly zealous ants. Tsukina's stomach flopped and her cheeks burnt a slight pink shade. Her wandering eyes looked over her fighting grounds; trees, water, patches of grass and dirt all around. Tall stone walls suppressed her and her opponent within as if to demand authority. She had approached from the north; her counter part from the south. He was from Kumogakure and she was from Sungakure. His abilities unknown to her, working vice versa as well. The green haired girl stood just a mere few meters away. She was almost surprised to hear anything from him.

"A pleasure to meet you, as well. Obviously I'm Hara, Tsukina; your opponent. Aha, and I... Couldn't agree more." she replied courteously with a short bow of her head. It was somewhat odd in the kunoichi's opinion, but that was beside the point. She snapped her red goggles over her dark colored eyes. The bell had rung and the match had begun. Without wasting another moment; a small lock of lemony-lime hair was cut from the girl's head with a kunai and quickly sealed in the ground just a mere few inches in front of her. It activated and stretched a ten foot diameter from the seal. It was a simple precaution. Should Ryo step within the ten foot diameter, various strong locks of hair would emerge and attempt to restrain him.

After a great, meet and respectful bow were exchanged as the match was beginning. The crowd was now silent, if not, it was silent to him. The loud roar that echo through the stadium was now nothing more than a dull sound. The audience was ready for the first round to begin. The reasoning was he was focused in this match that he had no intention of paying mind to the rest of the crowd at the moment. This included the Raikage, His mentor, and the possibility that his younger brother might even be there.. He started to take note of his opponent. His opponent was obviously a female with very vivid green hair, it was different to see someone with that type of hair, it shows that she is very bold in her life; he also noticed that she had goggles on as well. He wondered if this was to add on in her ninja combat or just something she likes to wear. In a shinobi everything is a weapon to help in battle and Kyo would have been a fool to try and take to miss something like that. He was about to move as she took out her kunai, as he was prepared to throw his he noticed that she cut off some of her green hair. He started to think to himself as she has done that.

Wait a second, she cut her own hair out. For what? I would think that if she spent enough time getting it green that she would have made her hair sacred to her. As she did so she started to drop it on the ground. Now there was not much time to think it was time to act. He started to move in the direction of the green land and trees. He started to keep his eyes on her and test out how she is in combat. He started to thrown one kunai at her followed by the other. The second Kunai held the wire, as it traveled the wire was inside of his hand and he had a grip on it to use as a counter measure to her reaction to his kunai. He wanted to see how she reacts to them and what her purpose what her hair is. He then thought to himself again. She placed her hair to the ground? There must be a reason for that. She had a perfectly good weapon and instead of using it directly at me she used it to her hair. Could it be that she uses her hair as a ninja tool. If so it would be wise to not go in to a close range combat. This is fine with me I am a midrange fighter anyway. I don’t want to use my KKG yet until I had a feel for her style of fighting. Even though I have gather information in this short time I want to make I am safe than sorry.

As he continue to go on his path for the grassy areas he tried to back himself even more to get away from the water area. He wanted to get away from it as possible. The water was a double edge sword for him. If the water was used or if she had water as an affinity then his fire style would be weak against it. On the other hand it would power up his Raiton Style but for now he wanted to make sure that he could use both in any particular time not resorting to one because the other one is useless. He started to take out another kunai from his pouch and waited for her results and then would act accordingly. They were more separated in distance now and he did not want to get near her hair. He knew it would be a trap or something but he also did not want to be fully cautious of solely the air. She is a ninja that could not be the only thing in her arsenal that she has to use and the further the way he is to danger the better. Arms at the ready in this third round of the Chuunin exams.

The kunoichi hailing from Sungakure no Sato had made the first move. Not necessarily a direct attack, but it was the first move of the third part of the Chuunin Exams, none the less. She had successfully sealed her lock of unripe hair into the terrain laid out in front of her. It was true Tsukina adored her hair; always grooming it and the like, but that was also because she used it with her somewhat obscure Kekkei Genkai. So you could say that she wasn't incredibly detached from the idea of cutting it. It was something pretty, but a weapon as well; perfect example being the seal she had just used. Now, if only her opponent would so easily waltz within the barrier. It was a childish thought, but hey; let the girl dream. A flash of metal then pierced through the atmosphere. Tsukina promptly raised her kunai; both metal projectiles clashing together to emit a strong 'ding' sound. This seemed to cause quite the affect among the once silent crowd, for a large cheer radiated from the rows and rows of seating. The green haired girl couldn't help but find amusement from it. That was beside the point however, for another projectile went flinging by.

She ducked towards the left; leaving her in a crouched position with the kunai flying by. It had nearly cut her light skin. 'Is that wire attached?' she suddenly questioned; sure that she had seen wire attached to the kunai. 'What purpose would that possibly serve?' she questioned once more. Tsukina let out a small held breath and intently focused on the Kumogakure Genin through her red lensed goggles. He had begun backing away from her, holding onto the wire that was still attached to the kunai number two. With an impulsive desire to throw him off guard, even in the slightest; the Sungakure Genin abruptly stood from her crouched position and gave the wire a mighty tug before letting go. 'He's probably realized by now that move I had done is a trap waiting to spring. Although, he may just be mid-range or far-range fighter. Perhaps he's realized it's a trap and he's just a mid-range or far-range fighter? Tricky. He seems to be going for the more grassy areas, as well; not really approaching the water. Maybe water is a disadvantage for him? Maybe I'm thinking too much about it too soon?' she vigorously speculated whilst lacing an explosive tag along her sole kunai before flinging it at Kyo. It promptly activated. Something that is known as 'plotting' then started to preform rather rapidly in the kunoichi's head.

'If I leave this barrier, it'll still be here. Obviously, he's not going to get very close to me. I'll have to approach him. Perhaps if I were to distract him with a smoke bomb, shunshin closer to him, whip up some clones, and use some good ol' Taijutsu, all the while secretly luring him closer to the barrier which he would perhaps forget about being preoccupied and all; I'd have a good chance at victory?' her plotting rapidly paced around in her head. If she were to try to explain it all in words at the moment aloud, she would probably be speaking so fast, it would make even her own head spin. Having taking a liking to the plan; Tsukina quickly flung a smoke bomb in front of herself. The area was then filled with a deep purple colored smoke. She couldn't help but to think of how much she disliked the color purple. Being masked with smoke; the Sungakure Genin preformed a jutsu and found herself appearing just twelve feet away from Kyo. Another jutsu was then quickly preformed the result of it being four more green haired girls popping up beside Tsukina. The kunoichi held off on any immediate attacks, but was stanced and greatly prepared for the usage of some Taijutsu.

As the one Kunai was blocked he did thought that she was going to use that for cover. It was something simple but it was different when she ducked for the second one. A change in style seems to be what she was doing but what bad timing. The second one held the wire and was going to work out great for him until her eyes met the kunai’s wire. Kyo clenched his teeth when she gave a tug she knew about what was going on and the trick. It was fine it was not like the whole battle plan was revolving around the wire trap. As she gave the small tug he was going to go about his counter attack until she let go and then started to get something that looked like paper and was being wrapped around the kunai. Was that a paper bomb? Hmm but she knows that I can see that. Ohh well I am not going to let her deceive me. Alright it seems that I have to switch my style. It is alright time to go to phase two. As he thought of his plan the kunai was coming at him. Using his kunai that he had he started to throw it at her towards the kunai, when the two kunai met the clash of metal ringed the area as well as the blast of the bomb. The air started to cloud up from the bombs as the two of them now had their visuals impaired. He started to take this to chance as he started to snap his fingers as some fire chakra was making it way from the wires to the kunai. He wanted his chakra within the kunai so he could use it at a later use. He then started to make some sign signs. There two clones started to appear. One was right in front of Kyo, the second behind him. He started to take out another kunai as the area was now filled with purple smoke as another visual was going to impair their eyes. He started to take this chance and use the tree that he went next to jump onto its branches. He and another clone were taking cover in the branches as the clone that was in front of them was taking their eyes to view the purple smoke. This time he started to take out his sunglasses and put them one, the clone with him started to do the same thing.

In conjunction he was thinking on what was going on. Alright she is obviously trying to hide herself. Probably making more effort with her hair and using them as weapons. Although she must have noticed me moving out of her hair and increase distance. She could be trying to make me pay attention to one end as she actually tries something from somewhere else. Let’s see if I had to be deceived it would have to be in the elements of the ground, the air, or even behind me. Thinking too much is going to cost me the match and I am not ready for that. For now it is time for her to search for me and for me to spring my trap. He said as he was mimicking her last attempt with a kunai and a paper bomb starting to coil up around its edges. He waited in the safety of the trees to see where she was going to come out from. He ordered his clone to look around to see if she had move from the area. Even though he could only see from his perspective he had to make his clone look as if it was really him.

The clone Kyo started to move closer to the wall’s edge and away from the water and her area of smoke. He wanted to make sure he had distance. It was obvious that distance was already gained and that another element into his attack needed to come fourth but she was playing the hide and seeks game with her smoke bombs. He stopped and looked around and then the real Kyo started to sense something. Something that wasn’t there before, something that just appeared. Something from behind that sparked his interest. His eyes widen as he move slightly from the tree to view his clones. “From Behind, no there is no way, could it be?” It was true the sensing was right Not only that because he turned to view a different angle from the tree and his clone was turning around there was a poof of white smoke and copies of her were standing around him. He clenched his teeth. She had successfully made clones of herself and he did not know where the real one was. The only thing he knew for sure that she had to be hidden in the clones because that jutsu must have been made when she was behind him or else of white poof would not have appeared. He looked from the trees, his kunai ready to be thrown the instant his clone would disperses or give away itself. For now he started to wonder how good this girl’s ability was. She is already using every part of the field to her advantage. He thought to himself as his clone held the kunai and took a defensive stance ready to take on all of the clones at once. The cautious has become the captive. Damn it all to hell. I am not going to let her have it her way. Although this does fall to my advantage I have to be careful about this and everything around me. An opening must be there and when there is I will take it. I have to make sure not to go back to the distance that she had her purple smoke. But I have to do something quick or else this whole area will be covered with hair, green vivid hair. Let the flame go ablaze.

By now, the audience of all shapes and sizes had died down their random outburst of excitement and awaited for more like the anxious squirming worms they were. Silence was golden given the situation; focus being a necessity during the fight. Tsukina Hara mentally thanked for peaceful moment. Smoke continued to cloud part of the battle ground.

Some smoke from the explosive tag's blast the other from the smoke bomb. It was true that the green haired girl's red goggles prevented smoke from actually irritating her eyes. However, the fact was, even with the goggles, certain areas within the arena was still vague to her sight. She was sure that the Kumogakure Genin's sight too was currently shrouded.

Well, that had been part of the plan, after all. Tsukina had used it to mask that she had vanished off to a different location; hopefully being able to use the element of surprise. The kunoichi had used one C-Ranked technique, one D-Ranked technique, and two E-Ranked techniques. Weapon wise: one kunai, one smoke bomb, and one explosive tag. She was going pretty well so far, in her opinion. She still had chakra to use as well as weapons, because lord only knew she wasn't going to give up quite that easily. That was unless she was faced with death, but Tsukina was rather keen on the idea of that simply not happening.

With a sharp exhale of breath, her and her clones looked directly in front of themselves through their red tinted goggles. They were all tense, looking rather alarmed and ready for just about damn near anything. Which was good, because Kyo Ryuzaki was just in front of them; twelve feet away just to be precise. Whether the Kumogakure Genin in front of her was the actual real deal or just a clone he had perhaps conjured was unknown to her, but she was going to take a chance and make the first move once more.

Three of her clones abruptly charged at him for an attack with fists ready to brawl; leaving one clone behind. It didn't take long to close in on space. The real Tsukina then ran just seconds after her three clones also prepared with an attack. The kunoichi's fist; lightning erratically radiating off it; went flying through the air to land a blow on Kyo. "Hah!" a noise she emitted similar to most taijutsu users upon releasing an attack.

Alright it seems that everyone is on the prowl what are you going to do? He said as he watched what she was going to do with the clone that was in front of her. The clones were all in front of the clone Kyo and they were mixed with clones and the real her. At least this is what he thought when he heard the poof quickly after sensing her presence. Even so he had to take the chance of doing something now. She had started to make the moves all through this round and it seems for now she likes to hit things head on without her target stopping her. At least that must have been the whole reason why she set up the smoke bombs for right? She must be a close range fighter or wanting to end the match quickly. He then started to relies that the matches are held consecutively and that the next ones facing him is the one the ones that had the battles next. She could be saving secret moves for the next opponents. Now was not the time to think to much. For now he would trust in his judgments and what he had seen that she was a close range fighter. For that he started to take out three more kunai from his holster and then the action was now.

The was now the time to act. The girl would be attacking him at any moment and he would have to go out on the offensive. The only thing now is how to get at it. Of course he could try to mimic her with an exploding Kunai but all of that is going to do is give in more smoke and both shinobi, as of right now, are being too cautious of the other one. The life of the shinobi takes risks and even though you do not have all the information you need the information you have is what you need to work with. Kyo was going to make sure that he was going to stay true to his word and his ninja way. For now all that needs to be said is to take them all out in one shot to find the real one then go out and target her. The time was now she was reading her attack. The attack went just as he thought the use of her clones mix with the real one now went along to attack him. The clone kyo tried its best to stay away but there was too many of them without the possibility of him getting away. There was a loud yell from the fighter as she went to punch him with some type of light within her hands. This intrigued kyo as he started to take out three kunai out of his weapon’s holster. He thought to himself. “A jutsu? Such chakra must have been put in for a powerful punch no matter my move now” As the clone was hit by the real her and her clone’s help he then started to raise his four kunai in, the one with the paper bombs and the three normal ones, and threw them all in her direction. He then started to make hand signs as the four kunai started to multiple to what seems to be like 20 kunai in total. The meaning of this jutsu was to produce weaponry out of fire so when they would hit her it would seem as if there was a kunai but burns would affect her body not the cuts of real kunai. The second reason from this is to help take out the clones and get the real one out of the bunch. Without the knowledge or the skills to know which is the real one at that point he had no choice but to do what he felt was right. Either way he hoped that the clone Kyo was there long enough to distract her and her clones from the incoming threat. There was one clone down but the element of surprise was there. There would be one more clone on a higher branch waiting for its calling but that would be used for later.

For now he waits and then gets ready to react on her behavior for now he starts to snap his hands and then his hands and legs were started to get engulfed in flame like chakra. The reason for this is that it was time to show his skill as she has already done. There would be just a few moments until she realizes what element he possess and now it is his turn to use his element to this match. For now he would not make any more hand signs as the time to wait now lingers the battlefield. Phase two now in effect.

With the sudden attack and rather loud yell, the crowd once more rose to a chorus of cheering; completely excited for how the first round was going so far. It was short however, for they quickly died down mere moments after to an eerie silence. Tsukina and her clones had successfully landed a blow. Although her clones didn't actually cause harm to her opponent, mostly just distract, it helped none the less. She mentally jumped with joy. Suddenly, their was a poof- a disperse. It had been one of Tsukina's clones.

She didn't put much thought into it, to be honest. I mean, Kyo had been attempting to fight her off. It was only to be expected at least on of her clones would be roughed up in the process. Those were her thoughts until their was another poof- a disperse. It was not one of her's, though. No, no- It was the Kumogakure Genin. Or at least, who she had assumed was the Kumogakure Genin.

'That guy just... Dispersed?' she questioned herself in disbelief; even shaking her head slightly. Grass and small amounts of dirt were kicked up as she skidded her feet onto the ground to stance herself. She recomposed herself from her rather robust Taijutsu technique. Her assumption proved wrong. She had not attacked Kyo, but a mere clone of him instead. The Sungakure Genin's heart sped up with the sudden realization. She instantly went back to a more alarmed and paranoid state of mind.

'Then where is Kyo Ryuzaki?!' she yelled quite feverishly within her head; the thought bouncing and echoing through out her mind. She cursed herself and her assumption. It was then that a minor sound effect snapped her attention. It had been a rustle like noise which evolved into something cutting through the air. She whipped her head to the sound's location, hoping to see where it had come from.

Projectiles came raining down onto her. Both clones were hit by kunai; vanishing with a small poof of smoke upon impact. That left one final clone who had done the smart move of jumping back a few paces away from the area of impact. Tsukina, sharing a somewhat similar fate to that of her three clones, was struck multiple times. She expected the sensation of cuts; something that she had experienced before, hence the scar across her back. However, it appeared she was not struck by ordinary kunai.

A burning sensation formed: right knee, right shin, left hip, and both left and right shoulder sharing an equal amount of pain. Tsukina couldn't help but to let out a small high pitched yelp in response. The audience promptly let out low gasps and began murmuring among each other. Despite the pain, she quickly jumped back and by her last clone's side, avoiding any more harm from the surprise attack. She had taken a risk and wound up getting burnt.. Literally. The kunoichi winced in pain, once more.

They aren't life threatening and she didn't need any immediate medical attention, but boy it still hurt. 'Mother of Kazekage- Dammit, that hurts!' she mentally ranted while quickly roaming her deep green eyes towards were she was certain the attack had come from. Their had been a rustle; from leaves perhaps? The Kumogakure Genin had to have been hiding in either a bush or tree. She raised her hand and formed it into a fist once more. The jutsu was still active; lightning erratically and hazardously sparking off it.

'Why waste it?' she thought, not really asking herself a legitimate question. With a sharp inhale, Tsukina and her clone split up. She wasn't as fast as before, but the Sungakure Genin still made the effort to land a good blow. She ran and made intention of jumping for a tree branch with her fist ready for another mighty punch; her clone approaching the bush below for the enemy. Neither knew the exact location of Kyo, but both were prepared.

The crowd did get itself to another commotion that could be heard within the stadium. To even its competitor’s ears it can ring to but now Kyo was trying to focus all of his attention to the match. He had just seen his clones disappear from the battle and his thinking of the opponent being a Taijutsu user was almost true. With something of lightning chakra on her fist seems to make it a close range combatant. The use of Raiton jutsu for his opponent was for offence but the Raiton chakra that his mentor has thought him was merely for defense and to blind an opponent. She was also wearing tinted eye pieces so she shourly would be able to get out of his lightning orb jutsu. To think that his common tactics would be off limits well at least for now well it had to be done. Well this was his reasoning to stay with his true nature his Katon ninjutsu. When she had made his clone into the air that’s when he used his other jutsu. The jutsu will make copies of normal projectiles and the projectiles don’t cut instead they burn. Yes burn, it’s a slight burn due to the amount but it will be even more effective since its surprises the opponents mentality and then its body. He watched as his jutsu goes forced and then some of her clones started to get itself cought with the jutsu even its user. There was a clone that jumped back after looking at the projectiles. With this he thought if that was the real one. Got Her! He thought to himself.

As the fact of her getting out of the way he thought that the third phase would help in this plan but instead his eyes focused on the clones that were targeted by the projectiles. One by one the clones started to disappear except for one. The four kunai landed on the ground as the rest disappeared or burned its target. But one of the clones remained intact. There was wincing and movement of pain from the kanochi. Kyo has known that look from his training and his medical help in the hospital. It was the wincing when feeling pain; clones can’t feel pain they disappear. The one within the heat of the projectiles was the real one not the one that got away. There was a clone that got away and then the real her. Unless she would do something else he would know which one is the real one. Another thing he noticed is that her fist was still with Raiton chakra. It was now to activate his next phase before she got the chance to pull herself together. As she yelped he thought to himself. Either way I got you both your in range

He started to do a hand sign and then focused his chakra on his projectile. The projectile in question was the one kunai that was different from them all. The kunai with the paper bomb was the different one. It was in the mist of the four that landed on the ground, it wasn’t sure if that was the one that hit her because of all the fake projectiles but it was one of the four that landed. As he did his hand sign the paper bomb would fizzle or fire and then explode itself out to form a blast around itself. This blast would hopefully leave the Chuunin exam spectators to shut their mouths for a while. Hopefully the closeness of her being next to the paper bomb would take her out or at least burn her like hell. His other objective was to take the last clone out as he then watched as there was smoke and looked at the same area. He would have looked for a proctor but he did not know what she would do for a counter attack. With her being distracted from his clone and his kunai projectile made it perfect to make a paper bomb explode with a close range of her standing. Hopefully the plan worked but we would have to see how the reaction of the kanochi will face of the paper bomb. Maybe she got out of the way, a possibility that he did not want. Maybe it was too close that it killed her, this was the main possibility that he did not want to happen. Or the third would be she is knocked out, a possibility that he wanted. Then the possibility of her being injured, this was the second possibility that he wanted but not his main one. For now the kanochi would have to move her body and Kyo would have to wait and see how his plan actually worked. With that he did not waste any time to grab another kunai from his holster before her reaction. This exam meant to be ready for anything and if his planned failed it was best to be on guard.

As soon as the Sungakure Genin began to pull herself completely together and run for the tree branch, an attack already prepared for Kyo Ryuzaki; a miniature explosion occurred. The overzealous and rather jumpy audience immediately zipped their lips with an ever growing anticipation. Once again, smoke clouded the area with it's hazy grey color. At least the actual smoke couldn't get passed her goggles to irritate her further. Tsukina had caught just the brim of the explosion; the back of her left leg now burnt. She bit down on her lower lip in an attempt to restrain yelping like she had just moments before. Instead of a yelp, she let out a small series of coughs due to the explosion induced smoke.

Although, she didn't doubt if it would leave or scar or had broke skin. Impact of the explosion made her wobble and loose balance somewhat, almost making her fall face first into the ground. However, she continued to bring herself to run for the branch she was most positive that the Kumogakure Genin had to be on. She was just simply not in the best position psychical wise to be running. Either that, or he was in the bushes, which her clone approached or at least had been approaching until she dispersed. He just had to be; she was just absolutely convinced. Just as the green haired girl regained a slightly more stable balance, her previous lightning laced Taijutsu move grew thin; non existent. This was obviously an unfavorable occurrence.

Yet, she would not lay down and take it. With hazy grey clouds already flooding the area and obstructing vision, the girl brought her hands to body flicker out of her current area. Off she was again, this time flickering into an actual tree and onto a branch. There wasn't that many trees scattered through out the 'Chaos Arena', just two or three here or there particularly close the the Arena's tall looming walls. There the Kumogakure Genin, though; just a branch away on a neighboring tree. She needed to attack. So, she did just exactly that. With a kunai in hand as a precaution; Tsukina jumped off her branch, aiming for Kyo Ryuzaki with a powerful kick using her good leg- her right leg.

“Did I get her? I hope so” These were the words that were in Ryuzaki Kyo’s mind when he set off the explosion. The explosion there was now giving off its grey smoke off into the air. He hated the fact that the smoking game was still being played but he had to risk it in order to take them both down. The crowd was now silent and was wondering the same thing as Kyo, what happened to her. In a few moments there was coughing from the smoke. She was caught within the explosion, but it seemed that she was still functional if she had enough to cough. He gritted his teeth as he thought to himself. Doesn’t she stay down? She spunky, I like spunky but not in this match. Something has to give this game has been going on long enough. She was still hidden from the smoke and he decided to take this chance as well. He looked at his area. He was still in a tree branch; his clone was hidden up in a higher part of the trees. He was hidden with the leaves that were extended so his visual was likely not to be seen by her. He wanted to try to end this exam quickly but he did not want to be cautious. He started to look at his kunai. This kunai held a small circular ball in its circular opening. This was going to be used as another surprise to her if she ever got close enough again. He highly expected that to happen if his theory of her being a close range combatant was right. As he did he noticed that she was coming out of the smoke coughing still and her body damaged.

This was not to say she was badly damaged but her body movements left a lasting impression on Kyo. She started to wable out of the smoke as she made a run towards his tree. His eyes started to widen as he thought I was here to long, she found me. As she was making way he held his kunai tight as he was about to throw it again until she disappeared in thin air again. He knew about this, it must have been that same trick she had used to get away from her purple smoke bombs. This time she used it in mind that he would see, and within the cover of his smoke. So she was gone again and into the surrounding area but he did not know exactly. He tried to calm himself down to sense her but that wasent going to happen this time. The reason for this was that her presents was subtle but known at the point that she appeared because it disrupted the quietness when the smoke bomb was thrown. This time she used it to get away from his sight and thus cannot sense her, as of right now. He looked around and then started to think. Alright. Think things through, stratigise what is her cource of action. Well that’s easy to find me and take me down. Okay okay stupid question what can you do and what have you done. Maintain distance, used a few jutsu and have my hands and legs engulfed in flame. Alright so you have an active jutsu and your arms and legs are on f…f…fire…?! You left yourself exposed?!

He was right with his arms and legs on fire he left himself exposed like Rudolph’s nose on a cold winter night. So she was hiding and he was making himself a human target. What could he do, the only thing he can do is expect the unexpected. As he was looking around the area he looked down at the ground and noticed the peace of his branch was getting darker. He knew that his sunglasses was making things dark, but if it was getting darker something was up, he looked back and saw her and her extended leg coming at him. There was not much time for a counter attack, instead he motion his body to a block and prepared for impact. He used his arms at a cross position to protect himself as her leg came down on his top body as the cross protected him a bit but the force was enough to send him off the branch and away from her range. As he was falling down to the ground he had to figure out a counter to her move. The only thing he could use was his kunai. The kunai with the bomb in it! Thats It! He motioned his hand and threw the kunai at her and when it was in range he made the bomb go off creating an explosion that would force him to the ground faster. As this happened he landed on the ground as she, if she was caught, would be caught in an explosion were it was a medium size blast and she will be engulfed in flames.

He let himself be caught by her. The reason is so he knew that he was close enough to get her in range of the bomb. He might of gotten close to the jutsu but it would be hard to get out of the bomb. He started to get up slowly as he then started to jump back to the wall’s direction. He was still ways away from their first place they were stepping in but he was still close to that tree. He started to cough and wait for her actions as he thought to himself. Even with my block the attack was strong to send me out of my balance and from the tree. It was good that I was not high as my clone but still. If I was not prepared that attack could of done more then it could have. My arms are a bit in pain even when I threw the bomb but mostly my back is hurting a bit. The slam to the ground wasn’t so kind to me. I give it a few minutes before the pain goes away. No broken bones or injuries just pain. She has to be experiencing more she was in range of my potassium bomb she should be engulfed in flame right now. If she last too long the match has to be over due to multiple burns. Then there is the kunai, I don’t know what happened to it, it must of blown up right after the bombs detonation so I doubt it reached her body to slice her. He started to pant as he then looked at the tree to see what have happened to his opponent.

Finally, the kunoichi had landed a direct blow on the Kumogakure Genin. It hadn't been at full power for he defended himself with crossed arms, but their was enough force behind it to at least sweep him off his feet. In fact, he fell off the very tree branch he was standing on and was now descending to the ground. She mentally threw her arms up with a little cheer. It wasn't an appropriate time to do such a thing, even mentally, but Tsukina did it, none the less. The Sungakure Genin planted her feet upon the tree branch with a large thud; green leaves rustled and miniature branches that spawned from the larger branches snapped and fell to ground just like Kyo Ryuzaki. She winced slightly as the burns from before continued to hurt her.

She let out a somewhat held breath while attempting to determine what more to do. That was until her deep colored eyes hidden by her red goggles spotted the Kumogakure Genin throwing a projectile at her, once more. She immediately went to jump back and off the branch, but it was too late. The kunai was not just a kunai, but a kunai laced with a bomb; a bomb that promptly activated that which she was in range of. Fire erupted from it and Tsukina was burned, specifically most of the damage done to her legs. Having already been burnt, then being burnt again; the young green haired girl was definitely not having a pleasant time. Then again, she wasn't really supposed to be having a pleasant time, anyways. She hissed and let out a yelp once more despite her attempt not to.

Some of her precious vivid green locks singed at the ends, bits and pieces of clothing articles had turned brown and black, and different areas of the girl's body became really quite red and pink. Tsukina rolled around a small bit onto the ground, putting out the small fires that had caught onto her; legs being the most in pain at the moment. How was she to continue with such a fierce radiating pain in her legs? Having jumped from the tree in a vain attempt to avoid the bomb only to loose coordination and harshly land on the dirty ground; Tsukina's back and the back of her head ached. A head ache quickly began to sprout and take it's toll. Her legs were one of her most important attributes, them being burnt so much was not good at all. Was their really much more damage she could perhaps cause to her opponent without becoming in even more physical pain herself? With a distressed sigh and pained voice, slowly bringing herself to sit up before he perhaps attempted to harm her again...

"I forfeit this round to Kyo Ryuzaki: Genin hailing from Kumogakure no Sato!"
