Taku SookatoSecondary Title:
Taku has a lean build, which is to say he is quite toned and physically fit enough to suit anyones standards, but he could still be revered as thin. He is all in all quite the healthy young man, though he is not really the age you would consider young. His appendages all mimic this, being long and lanky, including his fingers. He has excellent grip and leverage because of this and can shift his center of gravity quite easily. His muscles are all well defined, but it is easy for anyone to take careful note that he takes more care in speed and agility then he does on brute force. His face is taught and slim in comparison to to others and his skin is quite pale, though not alarmingly so. He is just certainly a white man. It is a healthy color though and does not put him out of place. He has jet black hair that falls in locks that group together in a set way around his head. It is long and falls down to just past his shoulder blades.
He wears a black gi suit that is almost kimono like in some ways, but definitely more resembles the gi. The garb is all fairly loose fitting, only being tight where it is a must. The coat is held together with a white belt wrapping around it and tied in a special fashion at the waist area. The trims are all white. Also he wears a white vest over this with a high collar that goes up to his cheeks and flows down to almost his knees. There is also a black diamond upon the back of this in the center of his back. He also wears a white silk scarf which has a very high dollar rate and has made Taku the victim of many attempted robberies and muggings. It is estimated the thing would go for several million Ryo easily in any auction or even more for a private buyer. He also has two white hair pieces which funnel strands of his hair both over his face and down the side of his head in a distinct fashion. Personality:
For one word, Multi-Faceted. That is if you just had to sum it up quick and easy for someone. That word in and of itself constitutes a much grander explanation than that. First however, for a man like Taku, or rather, any Sookato, a brief overview should be given perhaps for some clarity to the mess of contradictions that make up such a man. These contradictions however, will not contrast one another, and instead, find a way to intertwine and find peace, working in cohesion. This being that as a man of vast intelligence and substance, is able to no the constitution of circumstance. Appropriateness and control, the two primary basis to dictate his actions above and beyond his personality. Though he may act a certain way in one situation, he may not act that way in others, again, fully on the ideology of circumstantial procedures in life.
Given in social situations, his attitude and way of acting tend to resonate his stature. He is alarmingly wealthy, enough money to take care of himself and many others with out needing any additional income for the rest of his life if he so chose. This is not to say he is uptight or snobish, nor does he look down on the wealthy for their financial situation. The only time he looks down upon someone based on class is if he knows, or there is concrete evidence to show that the person is worse off because of foolish actions they took, or if they deserve it. Rather, he is simply, to be put, sophisticated. He likes to have extravagant things, not that he needs them or feels uncomfortable with out them. He just enjoys any luxury he can afford when he can. Though, he is also generous and will include others in his frivolous life style, barring they meet his standards for a decent human being. However, his way of speaking is not seen as cool and the like, so the company that does opt to spend time with him is rather small and few in between. He is a powerful figure, politically, physically, and in the personal sense. His way of being can be off putting, but for those who can see past this and understand him and that he is not being snot nosed, can learn a great deal from him and his wisdom.
Taku quite enjoys philosophy and theory, so long as theory and ideology it is founded upon holds a common ground with logical thinking and facts. He is not one to make too many assumptions based on nothing, though he does draw conclusions from facts. Facts are not always relevant though, so he has been found to be wrong before, but this does not bother him as he feels his thoughts are fueled only by what information he is equipped with so he does not view himself as wrong or as having made a mistake, simply mistaken due to lack of information to go off of to come to a suitable conclusion. He quite enjoys critical thinking and using his head to come to solutions of problems. Strategy is a strong suit for him, as he analyzes nearly everything. It is all of these cumulative mental attributes that also make him quite the political man as well. Though not tied in directly at all times, he stays well informed and usually has a good idea about the correct political moves. This makes him a valuable asset to any army he so chooses to fight for.
Furthermore, he is a natural leader and father esk type figure. He can be quite comforting and motivating when someone is in need of such words of warmth to get them along. He has compassion that is far beyond the scope of most shinobi of his stature. Taku himself has not had the most joyful as childhoods, so he is very understanding to the infliction of emotional pain and is not blind to the effect it can have on peoples hearts and psychology. However, on the flip side, he can be quite stern and hard on people as well. Though he can be sympathetic, his patience has its limit as to duriation, and to what it will be expanded. Though he had moments of warmth and compassion, well in an outward sense, 80% of these situations he will be the hard man, who will lecture you and tell you to grow up. Though he does understand plight, he also has no place in his heart for the weak. It all banks on circumstance as to who he extends the warmth in his heart to, and also how long he extends it.
Finally to be noted is his lust for battle and conflict. Typically this is the attribute of serial killers, criminals, etc. However, in the mind of Taku, this is not the case. He keeps his calm and his collectivity, but rather, the battles are tests to him. It is in his blood as a Sookato. While the Sookato were traditionalists, they were not all as calm and laid back as he is. They were often hot headed even, to a certain extent. His ability to channel his lust for battle, simply makes him stronger, especially by keeping it in check, allowing it to be strung out and constantly active. This keeps him constantly alert and ready for action at any time, there is no tradition phase, and it is nigh impossible to startle him, or cause him to hesitate. He is quick to act, but even quicker to think. This is yet another personalty attribute that makes him a deadly warrior above and beyond his proficiency at the ninja arts.
The final twist in all of this, is anger, the last piece of the puzzle. Any other emotion can be kept at bay no mater how much of it is felt, hidden by a stoic face. The exception is rage. The Sookato are a raging battle fed race of men. They are predisposed to frustrating impulses to attack. A lot of them, as previously stated, are hot tempered, and almost all are easily bated and goaded into a fight, which is usually a bad idea for the one who laid the bait in the first place. However, with Taku, this works in a somewhat different manner. It takes a lot to anger, and he is not so foolish as to fall for simple taunts. One thing that he will not tolerate is disrespect. Disrespect sends him into a cold, calm rage. Thought calm and rage can be often used to contradict each other, in this case, they coexist, and borderline on down right scary. Looking into his eyes you would see nothing but emptiness with no place for the likes of you should his feelings be geared towards you. This is also reserved for disrespect that was intentional to degrade etc, simple smack talk, at least at first, will do nothing but roll off of his shoulder. The one other thing to set him off in this cold rage, would be to attack something he holds deep to his heart, such as family or close allies. It is highly unlikely for him to be ever be pushed into a full on heated and uncontrollable rage which is typical of most people.Catch Phrase:
"Those who showboat strength.......are the weakest of all."
"Any time you want to defeat me, you have an open invitation........if you think you can handle it"
