Beetle Contract [WIP] Pict1

Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Technique
Rank:C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element:N/A
Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. There are many ways in which the ninja can sign a contract with a summon but it is usually done with the ninja signing a blood contract with the animal species. This allows the user to summon different size and skilled animals to fight along side them, or on their behalf.

The Beetle Contract is a very old contract, dating back thousands of years. The setup of the contract has multiple portions, each one relating to a main and common specialty: Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu. Based on a signers specialty, they will sign the contract in that section, in blood. The blood is not only used for signing, but the contract senses the elemental affinity of the user and assigns the beetles for Ninjutsu based on that.

If someone signs the contract in the wrong specialty area and tries to summon, the contract will be revoked by the beetles upon realization that their summoner does not share that specialty.

Also, to allow signers who do not have one of the three specialties to sign, there is a unique section off to the side for generalized summons. These are messengers, scouts, and distraction summons, and can be used by anyone who signs the contract.

Once a person signs the contract in their specific section, they cannot sign any other section, otherwise their signature will be negated. The beetles are very particular about this contract, often revoking of killing summoners who disregard these rules.

Genjutsu Summons

Name: Shin
Rank: D-Rank
Appearance:

Beetle Contract [WIP] 113_7

Shin is a small gold/silver beetle, small for a summon anyways. He is gold and silver, with a shell that shines like metal, and is approximately one foot long. His main use in combat is to ensnare the opponents in illusions, hence the shell. The coloring is extremely useful in the desert, as he blends in with the sand easily.

Contract Type: Blood
Species: Beetle
Speciality: Genjutsu
Elemental Affinity: N/A
Special Abilities/Characteristics:
Shiny Shell: The shell of Shin is shiny, to the point it can reflect light across the battle field. This allows Shin to catch opponents in Genjutsu due to the refraction of light. The opponent must look directly at the light though, peripheral glimpses will not ensnare the opponent.

Personal Information: The Beetle Contract was found stored in a temple outside of Suna. Over the years since the temple had been abandoned, the sand storms had slowly swallowed it up, leaving nothing, not even a trace, of its existence. For centuries the temple remained undisturbed, until the sand storms returned and the temple was slowly uncovered by the same forces that hid it from this world. The scroll was untouched by the sand due to being in an enclosed room in the center of the temple.

Shin himself is a very quiet beetle, rarely speaking and preferring to bask in the warmth of the desert. He becomes quite agitated and snappish when he is summoned in colder areas, such as Kirigakure or Kumogakure, mostly because he just doesn’t like the cold.
