"Alright. Let's get this over with." Shizo stepped forward and stretched his arms upward then outward away from his body. He quickly dropped into a low crouch and rolled a scroll out on the cavern floor in front of him. 'Doro Gaeshi a low ranking earth technique and nearly perfect to increase my defensive arsenal' He closed his eyes, blocking out every sound within the training cavern around him. The bright lights of the cave, the clang of weapons together, slowly each detail faded as Shizo focused. He blocked out everything except for the feel of the earth beneath his feet.

He knew the jutsu was fairly simple in, creation, it would require the focus and molding of his chakra to create a wall of earth. The technique could then be used to protect the user from attacks lower in strength. 'Alright, first step: gather Chakra.' With his eyes still closed, Shizo closed his eyes and made hand signs, he began focusing chakra within his hands. 'Second step: mold the chakra into the earth.' He slammed them onto the earthen floor of the cavern, focusing on moving the chakra from his hands and into the earth in front of him. 'Third Step:Mold the earth into the shape I need.' Shizo focused on controlling his chakra, molding it upward and outward from the earth with shape manipulation within the doton chakra. Quickly an earthen wall began to grow in front of him taking the dimensions it quickly grew in size until it was six feet tall and nearly twice as wide as Shizo, with the chakra required for the technique used up the growth stopped. "And that's that." he said, taking a step back to admire the wall in front of him "Doro Gaeshi - Mud Overturn"

He took a step back from the wall and dug deep within his tool pouch, retrieving a long strand of wire and turning it over in his hand. The metallic nature of the wire reflected the light shining in the cavern and the reflection bounced off the cave floor before Shizo set out towards his next step of training. Reaching into his pouch with his other hand, he pulled out a Kunai. "And now for Jutsu number two.", he spoke nonchalantly to himself as he began to wrap one end of the wire tightly around the Kunai, it was an old habit that sometimes made him receive disturbed glances from those around him, not that it bothered him if people though he was insane. After Shizo had wrapped the wire around the handle of the Kunai several times, overlapping the wrap so that it would stay in place well and did not come loose mid training.

Turning the Kunai, now attached to the wire over in his hand, Shizo examined his handiwork, "Not bad. Not bad", he spoke to himself, giving a small nod as he spun the wire around in a circle, testing to see if the Kunai stayed attached. After he was satisfied with this final test, Shizo gripped the Kunai by the handle and plunged it into the earthen wall in front of him. With some effort he managed to lodge the Kunai within the earthen structure. Stepping several feet back, Shizo tugged on the wire with a small amount of strength, only satisfied when the Kunai did not come free from the wall.

Crouching down, Shizo held the end of the wire firmly in his hand as he rolled out another scroll. 'Ryuuka no Jutsu ' His eyes absorbed all the information within the scroll, before he kicked it out of his way and stood to his feet, Holding the wire taut wrapped around his wrist, he made several hand signs as he sucked in a deep breath of air, his frame expanding as the air filled his lungs. Holding the tiger seal up to his mouth, he focused the chakra and released the air within his lungs out his mouth. When the air hit the chakra from the handsign it ignited, into flame, utilizing control over the Katon Element, Shizo molded the flame to travel down the wire towards the Kunai at the end. When the chakra set aside for the technique quickly ended, the flame's sputtered from Shizo's mouth, but the wire was burning with fire traveling down it. 'Success' With a smug and confident smile, Shizo released the wire, letting it fall to the cavern floor as he moved onward.

Shizo couldn't sit around and be idle all day. If he was going to become a strong shinobi that was noticed by his village he would have to toughen up and do it quickly. However, there was something stopping that. His current strength level with Katon techniques wasn't where he needed them to be. Shizo crouched down, keeping a safe distance from the flaming wire as the flames slowly burned out. Reaching into his small pack, he pulled out a bottle of water, snapping the cap open and quickly guzzling down the clear liquid, the training making him parched. Crushing the empty plastic bottle in his hand, he shoved it down into his pack and pulled out another scroll. Rolling the scroll out on the ground in front of him, he examined the contents. 'Endan' This one was a basic fire technique, Shizo categorized each word on the scroll within his mind for recall while practicing before pushing it to the side with the other two.

Standing up, Shizo closed his eyes again, planting his feet firmly on the ground.Making a series of handsigns he focused chakra within the center of his body and let it flow upward into his mouth. Upon the completion of the hand seals, Shizo felt the chakra in his mouth, liquify becoming an oil as the technique perscribed. Holding the tiger seal up to his mouth, he spit the oil from his mouth, launching a fireball at the earthen construct in front of him. He looked with satisfaction as the fireball exploded. "Endan" he reached in "Now on to the next one."
