Chant Signs

Chanting is an ancient art and language that has been passed down by generation to the Kaiku clan members. Using them, clan members can converse with each other and perform chants instead of handsigns when needed. These chants sound like a gargled language and involve clicks and clacks as well. Though the 'words' to the chants can be said silently, the clicking is extremely loud and can alert people that know a bit about the clan that the Kaiku clan member is using a jutsu. There is a one syllable chant for every kind of hand seal and each one corresponds to one hand seal. A Kaiku clan member must say them in succession in the same way another ninja would have to make the hand seals. This makes Kaiku members able to be combat effective even when their arms are morphed into another shape or just unable to be used.

Inhuman

Members of the Kaiku clan have adapted and evolved to a point that they are almost a different species then most of the ninja race. Kaiku clan members have extremely pale and rough skin along with some reptilian features. Their teeth are adapted to be carnivorous, which eliminates molars and replaces them with more canine teeth. Another particularly strange trait Kaiku possess is their unique love for strong chakra. These strange people have unique taste buds that are receptive to chakra, leaving a taste in their mouth that changes depending on strength and element. This is not a combat worthy ability since to do this a Kaiku has to be close enough (1 meter) to them to physically breath the chakra residue in. The concentration, or density, of the chakra and the strength of it effect how it tastes to the Kaiku. Although certain clan members may have special taste, in general the stronger and more concentrated the chakra the better flavored it is. What kind of flavor this is reflects the individual and their personal preferences; if they prefer sweet tastes preferable chakra tastes sweeter.

Kaiku clan members also lack fingernails and instead have long retractable claws that are as strong steel. Kaiku's also have vertical pupils that are very thin and snake like. Kaiku have an unusual and somewhat primitive instinct. A Kaiku is angered very easily by even the smallest things and something as simple as a touch can sometimes send them into a rage. Along with that, they have trouble speaking other languages besides their tribal chanting. This causes them to flow into a chant while speaking or just have a terrible language skills. These adverse effects can be mostly overcome after living in 'normal' society for a long time but the Kaiku's instinctive behavior can not truly be overwritten. This rage can however be contained and then released when the Kaiku needs it. Every 5 posts a Kaiku must release this rage for a minimum of one post. This is detailed further in the clan jutsu.

Enhanced Muscular Capacity

The Kaiku clan is an extremely strong and extremely durable clan. They are naturally very physically strong and they're bodies use their energy very efficiently. Kaiku have a naturally high muscle to body fat ratio in their body and are very heavy and bulky as a result. This also makes them stronger than the average ninja. Also, the Kaiku's muscles have a high tolerence to lactic acid and are therefore able to take amazing strain without weakening or tiring.

Tough Hide/Tribal Traits

The skin of Kaiku clan members is very rough and durably. So much so that some people compare its consistency with a stone or sandpaper. This skin does not actually give any sort of combat advantage until the Kaiku is A-rank. At that point it has hardened to the point of being able to resist being penetrated by standard weaponry (kunai, shuriken, senbon, etc.) and instead deflects them or at the very least prevents them from piercing the skin. Conversely, this abnormal skin makes medical ninjutsu considerably harder to perform on a Kaiku without prior training and experience. Kaiku also do not sweat as much as a normal person would and their bodies retain water much more efficiently. This allows them to go for extended periods of time without having to take a drink of water. Along with Tough Hide, Kaiku clan members also have specific adaptations that they developed depending on what tribe they are from. There are three main Kaiku tribes in the ninja world not including smaller tribes that are scattered around. In the north tip of Snow country lies the Ice Tribe, deep in the western mountains of Earth Country lies the Stone Tribe, and on the coasts of Wind Country presides the Cavern Tribe.

Kekkei Genkai

Body Metamorphosis

Kaiku clan members can have the ability to morph their body into desired forms or shapes. This is not a ‘basic’ ability and can only be used if the Kaiku has medical as a specialty. Some may compare the Kaiku to 'shapeshifters' of sorts. They are able to reconstruct and alter the very structure of their body with sheer willpower in a short amount of time. This makes them very durable and versatile on the field as close quarter fighters. In addition to this, a Kaiku's body does not follow conventional anatomy rules. Their organs are much more durable to strain and a Kaiku is actually able to move them around inside the body via medical ninjutsu. They can be expanded, shrunk, and shifted as long as they stay in the same general space.

Kaiku are able to change the shape of their limbs in order to adapt to whatever situation they are in. These transformations usually involve them making their arms into weapons or morphing their bodies in order to more appropriately deal with different threats. However, they are only change the shape or physical properties of their body. Meaning, they could change the shape of their arm and perhaps make it more flexible but they can't add extra abilities beyond the properties and utility of the shape it takes.

Bacterial Hosts

The Kaiku continue their lineage through a very odd practice. In most societies, a child's mother and father are the two people that that combined their DNA in order to make that offspring. However, in the Kaiku society the mother is the one who birthed the child and the father is the one who passes his 'power' to the young one. This means that if the genetic father misses the chance or simply does not wish to provide this for their son they are not the father in the Kaiku Clan's eyes. The previously mention 'power' is not a special lesson or a secret jutsu; it's a special strand of bacteria that they cultivated on their body. If received shortly after birth, the bacteria identify with their new host and begin to grow alongside them. In order to prevent the young ones from interfering with their bacteria's integration they are prohibited to shower or bath at all until a certain level of maturity is reached. By that time, most Kaiku find the action of bathing to be strange and only do it ritualistically in their society.

Depending on the Kaiku, the bacteria varies in shape, color, name, and genetic make up. This makes it impossible to find a cure for a specific Kaiku's bacteria without studying their specific bacteria. However, the effect of the bacteria does not change. All bacteria have both a physical effect on a target along with an adverse effect on their chakra. In addition, the bacteria work to protect the Kaiku in a rather unconventional way. Though they cannot offer any physical protections, they aid the Kaiku in recovery by stimulating the effect of medical ninjutsu on the body. This makes Shousen no Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique able to heal wounds in half the amount of posts; helping to get the Kaiku back into the fray as soon as possible.

[b]Poison Description:[/b] Though isn't really a 'poison', it is actually an extremely contagious bacteria that a Kaiku cultivates on their own flesh. A Kaiku's bacteria only reaches a high enough concentration and strength on their skin at A-rank and is therefore only available at that rank. These bacteria are different than what may be consider normal bacteria and actually aid those who have the Kaiku's chakra signature. The bacteria sustain themselves by feeding off the dead skin cells and filth on the Kaiku, cleaning them in the process. When the Kaiku's infected skin comes into contact with another person, the target becomes infected by the bacteria. However, the bacteria are very lacking in intelligence and only know whether or not to attack an if the object has chakra. If it does have chakra, and the bacteria doesn't recognize it as it's master, the bacteria begin to their attack. If the bacteria can not identify any sort of chakra they simple sit on the surface and cease to become threats. This means that the bacteria must touch flesh to be able to infect a target.

Once infected, the target's flesh will start to be eaten up and turned into a putrid liquid. In addition to that the bacteria attempt to pacify the foreign chakra they are around by devouring it. This causes chakra loss in the afflicted individual and difficulty sending chakra through that point of their body due to this bacterial roadblock. The bacteria continue to eat through the afflicted area unless they are stopped. This process can be stopped by either removing the bacteria with an antibiotic of the Kaiku's level or in more extreme cases the tainted skin. Also, the Kaiku is able to recall them back to himself by putting his hand on the infected area and focusing a small amount of medical chakra into his palm. Since the bacteria recognize the Kaiku's chakra they immediately swarm to it and gather onto the palm.

[ Post 0 / Turn of Infection/Injection] The bacteria situate themselves on the new surface and begin attempting to identifying who or what they are on.
[ Post 1 / Effect] The bacteria begin to break down the skin that they are on and cause extreme pain and visible damage on the skin.
[ Post 3 / Effect] The flesh and muscle begins to be devour by the bacteria and they begin disrupting the chakra of the individual they are attacking. This causes their jutsu to cost 5 more CP, but more importantly it prevents them from maintaining a jutsu that involves focusing chakra on the part of their body that is afflicted.
[ Post 6 / Effect etc] The bacteria eat through the muscle and continue on to the bone.
[ Post 8 / Effect etc] The bacteria finish eating through the body and are then sedated by the lack of chakra and becoming nullified.

[b]Description:[/b] Primal Instinct: Kaiku's Wraith is a technique that sends the Kaiku into an uncontrollable rage. Once this is used the effects last 2 posts. When a Kaiku is in rage mode they become an unstoppable force of pure strength and vitality. They're pupils dilate and they're bodily functions such as salivation go out of control. Kaiku in rage mode gain a huge boost in strength, making them much stronger than they previously were. In addition, they also become faster and have heightened senses. Perhaps the most fearsome part of this rage is that they are completely impervious to pain while in this state. They completely ignore any sources of pain and instead continue to fight. The downfall of this rage is that the Kaiku is incapable of complex forms of thought and are unable to use their chakra. Planning anything while in this mode is borderline impossible and instead the Kaiku charge straight for the enemy and attack them in any way possible like a wild beast. This means using jutsu is an impossibility while in rage mode due to the thought put into making the handsigns and the chakra used in the jutsu. Also, if the rage is used more than once in a topic the Kaiku rapidly loses energy from their body and quickly tire when they leave this rage . Most Kaiku consider this a curse but others base their entire fighting style around this uncontrollable burst of energy.

[b]Description:[/b] Metamorphosis: Cosmetic Alteration is a justu that allows a Kaiku to alter their exterior appearance. This metamorphosis can change their bodies shape, height, and even face. This can conceal almost everything from their original state with the exception of their eyes. The Kaiku's snake like eyes ruin the overall transformation if the Kaiku were trying to impersonate someone. To transform into another person they need to have actually seen the person a topic and the transformation takes one full post. Besides that, Kaiku clan members usually use this metamorphosis to change from their normal fearsome appearance into something more suiting for people.

When used, the Kaiku's skin covers the wound up and heals it with a mixture of chakra and skin. This jutsu is used to patch up light injures and can be used all over the body with one use.

Bone Reconstruction however, repairs the bones in the same way that Chakra Skin Bandage does. This only fixes bruises and other small injuries in the bones. It needs no handsigns and can be used in a pinch.

[b]Description:[/b] Bacterial Breath is a simple jutsu utilized by the Kaiku clan that utilizes the massive amount of bacteria in their mouth to attack the enemy. When they breath out using this jutsu, the Kaiku breaths a spray of air that is as hot as fire. This attack can not light things on fire, but it can burn an opponent. It can also infect any open wounds and cause them to not scab over and continue to bleed.

[b]Description:[/b] Organ Transfer is a medical jutsu used by the Kaiku clan. This jutsu is somewhat simple and requires no handsigns to do, seeing as it needs to be done in the blink of an eye. By using their KKG, the Kaiku move their organs away from their original place. This makes fatal moves aim towards major organs fail because they will fail to hit the organ and instead hit the spot where it should be. These movements can be in the form of shifted or just shrinking them temporarily. This internal movement creates a nauseous feeling and therefore prevents the Kaiku from being 'combat able' for one post.

[b]Description:[/b] Great Sword Arm is a jutsu that utilizes the Kaiku's body morphing abilities in order to transform one of their arms into a sharp scimitar shaped weapon with a hook on the blunt side for catching weapons. When this jutsu is used the skin that forms the blade is hardened to the strength of a D-rank weapon unless the user is S-rank, in which case the arm is scaled up to C-Rank.

When encased in this harder skin the Kaiku is able to survive much stronger impacts and concussive damage. This substantially increases the Kaiku's survivability. Conversely, this layer of skin actually covers the Kaiku's original and therefore prevents the effects of their bacteria. The Kaiku is able to revert back to normal, but it comes with an extra chakra cost if done mid topic.

[b]Description:[/b] Body Repair Transformation is a jutsu used by the Kaiku clan to fix fatal injuries to their own body. To use this, the Kaiku must have a spare body part in hand. Using eijutsu, they attach the body part to themselves to either add an extra limb or replace a damaged one. This limb is then overcome by Kaiku’s skin and morphed into an exact copy of their original body part. This new appendage can do nothing the post it is attached, but gains full function ability after being attached for one post. These limbs are not permanent and cease to function after a day.

[b]Description:[/b] Organ Multiplication is an eijutsu used by the Kaiku clan. This jutsu is used when the Kaiku suffers fatal internal damage that is targeted on one of his organs. Once the Kaiku finds the damaged organ they begin making a copy of the organ inside their body. This spare organ takes one post to completely assimilate and once it is ready it takes over for the damaged organ. The damaged organ is then broken down harmlessly by the Kaiku's body. This internal movement creates a nauseous feeling and therefore prevents the Kaiku from being 'combat able' for four posts.

Chant Signs
I really don't like the idea of being able to chant hand signs, you'll be at a great advantage in terms of timing for the technique to activate and as you mentioned, if a persons hands are out of use then they'll be able to activate techniques without a hassle. I'd much more prefer it if this wasn't in the clan at all.

Inhuman
I feel that your clan members will have too many features across their entire body and some of them don't really blend in together. You've got rough skin, steel claws, canine teeth, snake eyes, bat wings and a tail. Far too many and they seem differ from animal to animal. The Bat Wings also seem quite pointless, not only will they weigh you down quite heavily but they also serve no purpose other then decoration. I don't really seen any need for them. I'd say stick to one animal and have the hybrid forms based around that certain animal. The rage will place your members at a disadvantage at times, perhaps you should possibly lower the rate down to once per topic?

Tough Hide
So to say a character of S - Rank had this passive ability, that would mean that they could automatically block any A - Rank and lower metal weaponry from touching them. That's far too overpowered and I don't really like the idea of the ability all together, the furthest it could reach would be to only be able to block E and D - Rank weapons, such as Kunai, Shuriken and Senbon. This would only be allowed at A or S - Rank level though.

Tribe's
I don't quite like the fact that all three tribes have different styles of Kekkei Genkai within the surrounding area. I understand that you're going with the idea of adaptability, but the fact that the clan already has so much seems to be going a bit too far. Like I said about the Inhuman section, stick to one animal for all of the clan and build around the hybrid. The Night Vision is also an automatic denial since the Bushidoo Clan have that as their Kekkei Genkai.

Body Metamorphosis
This is a definite no - no, not only are you giving your clan far too many abilities as it is but now you're also giving them a technqiue where they are able to alter their own appearance that is far beyond the capabilities of Henge no Jutsu. Fox has created a similar technique, but has really downgraded it's abilities and capabilities. I don't really think this needs to be in the clan at all to be perfectly honest.

Hyper Evolution
Once again you're giving this clan far too much in terms of abilities and techniques, halving the chakra cost will not be allowed even if they opposed element is doubled. Once can simply not go into the opposite element and avoid the downside towards the technique, it's simply too much to allow. I also desire techniques to be made for the following elements as well if you want them to be approved.

Katon
Everything seems more or less fine with this, apart from the reference to your spine. This would seem more like a trait that a Kaguya would possess since it's using the bones of the body, so have that removed please.

Raiton
So potentially you could become invisible with this ability by reflecting light off your body? If so this is also a denial.

Fuuton
A bit pointless, but I guess it's fine.

Suiton
As long as they don't also grow gills then I guess so.

Now I understand that you're capable of creating more then that and if you wish for all these traits of Kekkei Genkais to be approved then you'll need to place in some more work with the history as well. I look for at least three paragraphs worth of history for a clan and considering that's how much we ask for a Genin character, I think it's a fair deal.

Well, this is a mess... Let's do this.

Chant Signs: The chant signs are there compliment the morphing ability of the Kaiku. If they were to morph an arms they wouldn't be able to use most jutsu without one hand seals; if they changed both arms they'd be without those jutsu period. With that being said, there are a lot of jutsu that require arms either way and those would still not be able to be used. Like most fire and earth jutsu that usually involve shooting the fire through your hands or palming the ground. I do understand that this clan has too many abilities, but with my edits I think that this trait should be acceptable.

Inhuman: Removed the wings and tail. I don't even know what I was thinking. However, I've added that they have can 'taste' chakra. This is not a combat worthy ability since they have to literally be right next to the person to do it. This is mostly to retain the idea of being sensitive to chakra after removing the entirety of Hyper Evolution.

Tribes: The tribes are mostly supposed to add 'uniqueness' to the individual character as well as give a basis for a backstory. Although the abilities are different, I don't really think any of them are particularly KKG worthy; especially considering the restraints. Speaking of restraints, I've added lose of peripheral vision to the night vision.

Body Metamorphosis: Well, seeing as I've removed Hyper Evolution and this is the only KKG is it reasonable to say that it's okay to keep in? Also, with the cosmetic alteration I'm honestly not clear on what is so wrong with it. It doesn't change anything but how you appear and it also takes a whole post in comparison to the almost instant Henge. I'm not sure what Fox's justu is, but I think it would be helpful if it could be linked to me.

History: Yeah... I just copied it from the previous Kaiku clan. I'll be sure to flesh that out. I'll probably end up rewriting it.

I wasn't aware this was employed before, but I think how it is done in your clan is a bit different; Using noise as a genjutsu medium is performed in the canon by the woman from the Sound Village. What I have done here is replace individual hand signs with certain chants. But, regardless, thanks for the input!
