THE INFO.

Name: Yakushi, Zura

Gender:Male
Appearance:Zura is usually seen dressed in a black vest and pants, with a large white coat wrapped around himself. The white coat is decorated with blue wavelike markings at the bottom aswel as at the end of the sleeves. He likes to wear his coat in a laid-back manner, so he's usually seen with only one arm inside the sleeve and the other one tucked away within his coat, normally the arm that's "hidden" is leaning over the black belt from within the coat, with only the hand visible from most angles. Black, white and blue are the only colors Zura likes to wear, unless you count the few red stripes decorating his black vest.

Other than the unussual attire and his silver hair, there really isn't much to say about Zura's appearance. He stands at around 6 feet tall and weighs in at about 150 pounds. He wears a friendly smile on his face at most times and has a few minor scars on his body but none that are out of the ordinary for a shinobi, or even visible to most people. He has a fairly light skintone, some would say he's pale whilst others would say he has a fair skin. Whichever you choose, it comes down that he has a light skintone. While his skintone would indicate that he is rather frail, the opposite would be considered more true, his body has a fairly atlethic build and he has very little fat covering his muscles aswell. The colors of his eyes are blue, and quite bright even, helping in creating a friendly atmosphere when having an encounter with Zura.

The standard look in Zura's eyes are those of an uncaring, apathetic, person. While he almost always sports a friendly smile, his true intentions and emotions can usually be read in his eyes. His forehead protector is always placed around his waist, not directly in front of his stomach but a bit to the right, very near to where his lefthand usually resides, casually peeking out from within his white coat. Some might think it has some sort of symbolic meaning to it, that the emblem of his city is near his grasp at all times. But nobody knows for sure, the only thing that can be said with certainty is that the forehead protector's emblem isn't scratched or cut through. Maybe it's because he will do that after destroying Konoha, or maybe he just doesn't care either way. Again, nobody knows for sure why.

That's about all there is to say about his standard appearance.

Personality:Yakushi Zura's personality is .... complex. He has suffered from an emotional trauma at a young age which resulted in him treating life, not as life. He treats life like he plays a chessgame. Everything has a motive, everything has a reason and everything has a consequence. The way he sees it, life isn't to be taken seriously. A life is just that, a life. Easily given and easily taken. And he just so happened to have found pleasure in taking it. While he nearly always smiles, he only genuinely does so the moments before he plays his favorite game. Taking a "pawn". In his eyes, all the weaklings are pawns. Only meant to be sacrificed for the benefit of other pieces. And while he doesn't mind taking pawns, he enjoys taking the stronger pieces even more so.

He knows that he has yet to gain the strength in order to do so, but in time he will be able to take the King, effectively taking over the chessboard. He has a few things that he enjoys besides killing though, such as eating/drinking sweet stuff and goofing around, cracking jokes and teasing others. To be perfectly honest, Zura is still a child at heart, a twisted and evil child, but still a child. He has yet to learn from the hardships of life, or maybe he has but in a different manner than most since he had nobody to guide him after the trauma. He was on his own from them on and his mind and way of seeing things became distorted because of it. In a way, you could say he's a victim of the Konoha society.

Either way, it's too late to make amends now. He became a Nukenin and has grown extraordinary hate and detest for Konoha and its residents, He won't rest until he has taken over the chessboard.

Combat Style: Zura's style of combat is very planned out and tactical, he doesn't mind playing the sacrifice-game in order to win, meaning that he doesn't mind taking a hit in order to land a harder or better hit, as long as he'll win the "game". He doesn't care about morales, ethics or sportsmanship, they're all self-induced handicaps in his opinion and he doesn't take part in it. He'll do whatever it takes to gain control of the chessboard, even if he has to sacrifice all his pieces in order to win.

He likes to measure the opponent's skill before launching his own attacks, in order to reduce the risk to fall prey to a trap. He will almost never underestimate an opponent nor perform overkill-attacks. Once on the offensive, he likes to mix genjutsu with taijutsu as to keep the opponent guessing what will come next and if the incoming attack is real or not, things like that.

THE BACKGROUND.

History:There isn't much to say about Yakushi Zura's history, besides that one...fateful...event. His parents, they were both shinobi of Konoha and, Zura remembers this vividly, one day they came back from a mission that had sent them beyond the borders of the Land of Fire. While they greeted Zura lovingly and heartwarmingly when they came home, he remembers feeling that something was wrong. Like something was being kept secret from him, and when they came home and his mother hugged him...The hug felt like it lasted ages in the embrace of his mother, and if his eyes hadn't deceit him, he could swear that he saw his father's eyes get teary.

This went on for several more days, days where all kinds of little telltale signs were noticeable that something was being kept a secret from Zura, whether it was something that had gone wrong during the mission or something else, he did not know. Until he went through his parents' dresser when they were out. He found a little book bound in brown-red leather with a black lint wrapped around it, showing all who saw it that this book was not for them to see. Zura, foolish Zura, unwrapped the black lint from the small book and started to read in it.

Only one page, at the end of the book, had been written in. But what was written, was too much for Zura to handle. He didn't understand most of what was written there, but he had understood the underlying message, the words between the lines. His parents were traitors, spies. Shaken and dazed, Zura pushed the book away from him. First slightly, then with a hard shove and then picking it up and throwing it against the wall, screaming his lungs out while crying his heart out.

He knew what he had to do, what any person of Konoha had to do.

It took them less than 10 minutes after showing the book and telling the guard what he had read, to round up his parents. Zura stared wide-eyed and with disbelief as they shackled his parents in front of him. His father tried to speak to his son for the last time, but he wasn't given the chance, he was taken away before he or Zura had a chance to speak. His mother, simply wept and sobbed uncontrollably as she looked at her son. Just before she was taken away aswell, she mouthed/whispered to her son...

" It's a lie. "

After that day, nothing was the same for Zura anymore. He thought he had been tricked by Konoha, by the people he had trusted with everything he had, with his parents' lives! He couldn't break away from the belief that he had been mislead and lied to, so he became a Nukenin with only 1 ultimate goal in mind, to make all children feel what he had felt, that someone took their parents from them.

That's why he almost never kills children, not out of compassion or anything like that, but because he feels he could cause greater harm by taking away their parents and loved ones.

NOTE: I'm gnna play out the details and post-history events through In-Character roleplay, if that's ok.

Roleplay Sample:

Zura was running in a forest, he couldn't remember why he was running or from what/who, but he knew that if he stopped moving his legs he would, without a question, die. Roots, branches and shrubbery were plentiful and obstructing his escape from whatever was after him, but he kept on running, scratches and bruises were starting to appear on his legs, arms, hands and face but he still kept on running. He felt like he was about to collapse and suffocate from lack of air from the exhaustion aswell as the tension, but no matter how far he ran, he never felt safe. The sunlight was shining through the leaves but most of it was blocked by the dense foliage.

After what seemed like an eternity, he slowed down his pace but the moment he did so, he heard a large growl from behind him and trees being ripped out from the earth or torn to shreds. Too scared to look back, he started to run again. This time, the threat was very real and very close, there was some sort of enormous wild animal coming for him, and he had lost all hope to escape. So after coming to a halt and placing the palm of his hand against a tree, he closed his eyes and let out a small sigh before turning around and facing whatever was coming at him, head-on.

But when he turned around, there was a bright flash of light and he was almost completely blinded, shielding his eyes with his hands he tried to see what was causing this, but all he could see were 2 silhouettes, coming closer and closer. He had the feint feeling that he knew those 2 people, and with each step taken closer towards him, he felt more at ease and at peace. And just when he thought he was about to see the faces of those 2 people, they were incinerated on the spot by a huge flame, engulfing them both as they silently stood there.

He had the idea they were crying but he couldn't see properly, but just before they vanished, he saw their faces.

Heart beating like crazy and bathing in sweat, Zura found himself in his bed. Shook up and confused, he sat there. First staring blankly at the wall, then a smile crept on his face, ultimately resulting in a maniacal laughing that resonated through the night.

Enchanting Comfort / Nousatsu Anki no Jutsu: This jutsu, though unassuming, is much too powerful. It'd be better if you removed it.

Also, in your justu number listing. When you put 8+) it makes the Cool

face.
