Location: Kirigakure no Kuni - A remote and tiny island South-East off the main village.

Prologue: Should you require it as a synopsis, or tl;dr: the Profiera Clan is, as the scientific name suggests; a clan to do with the concept of Sponges. Wikipedia defines Poriferas as "multicellular organisms which have bodies full of pores and channels allowing water to circulate through them, consist of jelly-like mesohyl sandwiched between two thin layers of cells." Now let's be serious here. Clan members are humans and therefore cannot be jelly sandwiches; however certain concepts have been utilized and remastered if a human were to be spliced with a sponge. Whilst the Amoebic Cells KKG aspect of the clan may seem overpowered in the concept of Stem Cells; please be aware that they can only be used in conjunction with chakra-draining jutsus. History:
The moon shone timidly on the landscape, illuminating the sheer cliff face that had erupted out of the ground many millions of years ago. The moon, whose face could stare into the heart of any man watched, tentatively at the ongoing of the lone man at the base of the cliff. A tent, a desk littered with a series of decanters, beakers and different objects for torture and science, a pot filled with freshwater poisonous sponges and a lone, mentally-unstable man filled the vicinity. The man was the former Kirigakure Naval Admiral whom had defected upon knowledge of the entities found on his home island some ways off from the main island of Kirigakure no Sato. These entities that he discovered were very rare aquatic sponges found in the most hidden river system of the island - a place never before plundered. This river system flowed only a few meters to where he had set-up his camp and has undergone his experiments. What the man had learnt from studying these sponges was the fact that they were highly receptive yet chemically dangerous; unlike their marine counterparts. He knew that he had stumbled upon something extremely rare and important, and with his highly extensive knowledge in chemicals, aimed to discover the true potential to these sponges.

For over an hour, he had been decanting the sponges in all different mixes of solutions. He was nearing the breakthrough and he knew it. His neck muscles were aching from craning his neck for a long time yet he didn't falter in his efficiency. All of that was about to change in the next few minutes. Recounts of what happened are extremely vague by all accounts as a few minutes prior to, and a few minutes after of memory were lost by this gentleman. From what he had pieced together; he was successful in creating the perfect concentration of DNA-changing amoebic cells previously extracted from the sponges. He then was too eager to discover its effects on a patient and instead injected the serum into his own system. From there, a few minutes later and a few lapse of consciousness and he was a glowing man; literally. He had successfully combined the perfect mix for creating a DNA changing ability and therefore granting him the very rare Kekkei Genkai now known of the Porifera Clan - but he had no knowledge how. From there, many failed attempts to recreate anything close to on a series of rodents and he returned home. The bloodline of the Porifera Clan was passed down through his son and daughter some years later and the next generation on from then. Only three generations of Porifera Clan members have surfaced with only 6 people living in the known world to have acquired this bloodline.

Description: The user removes the tip of their index finger to which it becomes a soft, highly adhesive sponge. The sponge then becomes motile and effectively sneak onto the designated target (within a 15m radius) to which it will remain. This sponge releases a very elaborate and highly distinct (to a clan member) pheromone for which can act as a trail to be followed. The area where the removed index finger was, is then repaired through the amoebic cell trait.

Name: Berunūi no Hōsoku - Bernoulli's Principle

Range: Doubled the original jutsu range.

Description: Using the porous skin KKG and through the use of Bernoulli's Principle, any form of liquid passed through the skin will be placed under pressure from an area of low concentration to high concentration, or vice-versa. For example, if someone were to jet liquid at a Porifera clan member whilst this jutsu is in effect, the pressure will cause the liquid to multiply and cover a larger area with less of a force (like tightening the end of a hose nozzle). The same with if a large amount of water is consumed, the water will be focused causing the range and strength of the absorbed water to be tripled (loosening the hose nozzle to make a jet).

Name: Suponji kabe - Sponge Wall

Description: The user removes plants their hands in the ground below them to which a wall of sponge roughly 4 meters in width and 6 meters high erupts from the ground. From emerging to when completely in place, the sponge is very rubbery and spongy - until it solidifies into a very dense and rough material very similar to marble.

Name: Yūdokuna Mizu - Toxic Water

Description: The user produces a toxin from the glands in their neck to which gets infused with saliva in their mouth. From this, the user will consume and manipulate water to which they expel a jet of absorbing toxic water. The effect of the toxin forces the victim the inability to use chakra for one post.

Description: The clan member activates this technique to excrete the stomach bile (hydrochloric acid) as a sticky liquid on the surface of their skin. The bile is a quick-affecting acid which will corrode anything in contact over a duration of 5 posts. Therefore, because of the molar strength of the bile, it is quite common for a clan member to become stripped from any clothing in contact.

Hey, Dan! So I just had some questions and clarifications that I need to be made. (:

Is this truly necessary? I can't find a moment where I feel like this is an absolute must, resulting in myself feeling like it truly isn't needed.

Okay, and there was another aspect that the staff had discussed when it came to the clan and we felt like it's capabilities for water absorption was not limited or controlled. It should be stated that the Clan member can only absorb attacks that are a Rank below them, and there should be some type of chakra cost along with it.

Amēba Shūri - Amoebic Repair - Make a note, fatal blow would still be fatal, no repairing vital organs.

Nibunretsu - Binary Fission - So you can make permanent copies of yourself?

Suponji kabe - Sponge Wall - At C-rank you'd only be able to defend yourself from what? D-ranks and below? Would would Katon jutsu effect the wall?

The Kekkei Genkai itself - It pretty indirectly states you can absorb water jutsu, if this was the case it would need to be heavily elaborated on, if not you'll need to specify.
