Nickname: Due to his name being quite short, most already call him Sao, but to his few close and trusted friends, some call him "Aki."

Appearance: Sao was known as quite a small character at an early age and was picked on quite often by bigger bullies. He quickly learned to defend himself and when he eventually caught up with everyone else in his year, he stood at 5ft 8inches; and has stayed at that height ever since. Most believe to his average height, they can easily beat him. Most are wrong and normally leave the "dispute" with a broken arm.
Sao weighs 150 pounds and is well built - he neither has large amounts of fat on his body, nor does he have large muscles. Once again though; this surprises anyone who wishes to get on his wrong side. He uses his technique and skill to be able to beat any opponent who has a weight advantage over him.
Sao is often wearing the same clothes, but changes after they are torn apart due to fighting. His normal clothes are: old sandals (which he has had since his high school days), baggy green trousers, a black long sleeved shirt (which he often rolls the sleeves up with) and a red headband which covers his shoulder length hair, it also stops his fringe from blocking his eyesight.
Having spent most of his time outside, he has gained a natural tan and people often comment on this. Beyond the tan though there is many scars on his back, in where he has gotten into fights. He is bruised and scarred outside and inside. Although he often gets into fights, he has a well rounded face and doesn't have any ugly features, this once again confuses people and they take him to be quite amateurish within fighting. Only himself knows about the scars on his body; hidden by scars.
Personality: Sao has a very strong personality and is very blunt and straight to the point. This has caused him to loose friends and has often caused him to get into quite a few fist fights. Which often leaves him wearing bandages around his fists. His "straight-to-the-point" attitude leaves him quite lonely at times and often misunderstood, but after years of this, he has developed a strong interior and now prefers to be alone.
He was in several clans before becoming independent, but most members came to despise him and his strength. This often caused commotion and assassination plans, all failed; but caused enough trouble with the leaders to ask him to leave. Although he wishes to be in a strong clan, he realizes his attitude leaves him hopeless and has become reliable only on the sandals he wears. Everything else is disposable.
His serious attitude to life has made him one of the most sought after mercenaries and due to his strict approach, he succeeds. This reputation follows him and most townsfolk have heard of him and his name. For those which don't and try to approach him, often leave bruised.
He has interior motives and is searching for something which can set him free from himself; but no one knows what. This interior motif makes him leave towns behind and why he is quite lonely.

Combat Style: While being trained in several areas, Sao prefers to fight with his Katana and focuses his techniques around this. Originally being trained in Kendo, Sao pushes himself to new limits every time he trains and fights and learns from his battles. While focuses around his sword, he also trained himself within Ninjutsu so that he could remain silent and vigilant when he was assigned a mission as a mercenary. Using a combination of both of these two, he can stay silent and agile, while still holding his own within a close quarter fight.

Description: The first level in the art of strength accessible to those who have undergone intensive training in increasing their raw power. The possessor of this talent has an increased strength of 20% which makes them slightly stronger. They can lift larger objects such as large rocks and toss them considerable distances. They can also now naturally deliver more powerful physical blows that can cause agonizing damage to targets.
THE BACKGROUND. History: Birth Akiyama, Sao was born in the small village Konohagakure. Immediately after his birth he was sent to the main city in which he abandoned on a door step of an orphanage. This is where the bullying began and a search for himself.
Academic Years Due to the constant torture of the older boys within his orphanage, Sao became a quite timid and shy character and did not often approach others. This caused concern for the teacher, but this concern quickly disappeared when he quickly picked up things and learned at a more than average weight. Of course this didn't help with the bullies. His first few years of school left uneventful and he made very little impact on anyone, until a new transfer student arrived, who became Sao's only close friend and the only person he trusted with his life.
Sao met Kenji after he transferred and they became quickly inseparable. Kenji had a very relaxed attitude no matter what the situation, and often song melodies of old myths and legends of the past. Sao was fixated on the myths and became quickly interested with the legends from the old days. Kenji preferred not to fight and was often at the wrong end of a fist when he used his witty and charismatic attitude in the wrong way. This is when Sao decided to fight for him rather than for himself. He often defended Kenji and he didn't know why. He came to the conclusion in his head that it was because Kenji became his friend when know one else was.
During the last years of School, Sao has already gained a reputation as the "kid not to mess with." This often led to more fights than he wished though, due to other children in his year (or below) looking to become the best. Kenji had made several songs about him and the most popular was titled "Sao the Great" and was often hummed around school. Sao hated this attention and become even more shy. He didn't know how to deal with the popularity.
Sao left school after his final exams and began training within Kendo. He loved it and his ability to pick up things quicker than most had helped him progress faster than anyone else. He honed his skills and left the city in search of the myths that Kenji used to sing about.

He hated the stench of the others around him and wish to be on his way, but his head was telling him otherwise, due to his pursuers. He has noticed them when he left the last ramen bar and they had been following him ever since. Sao wasn't yet comfortable with this village and he has just been walking around aimlessly in public areas to prevent the assassins from taking the final shot. From not taking the kill at the ramen bar when he was defenseless, he had already knew this much; but what bugged him was why were they following him? He had no time to speak, after turning another corner, it seemed to lead to a dead end and the pursuers had already jumped on the opportunity - it seems Sao was going to have to fight his way through another bad situation. "When will it stop?" he thought to himself...

The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature. The icon will be concentrated with a high temperature of fire element, if the user were to place this on human flesh it will burn the symbol into their targets skin scarring them with the symbol for life. After performing the required handseals, the user will be able to fire out a small burst of fire taking a cone - shape. This fire will then reach fifteen metres exactly before it explodes into a ball of fire, covering a one metre radius. The technique itself is commonly used to make allies aware of your location, which is why it's typically shot into the air. However, this can also be used offensively by firing it at your opponent and it will still explode when it makes contact to a surface. Anyone caught within the flames could face first and second degree burns. If the explosion occurs in the air, then the ball of fire will last for two posts.
