Thank you very much for those warm welcomes but I have 2 questions for you all. So first question: If I activate a genjutsu on someone, wouldnt they know they are trapped within it instantly simply because they know how the move works, then simply using kai or injuring themselves to get out which does nothing more to me than make me waste my chakra?
I mean, If I rp'd here (which I will) I'd read up on all the possible jutsu's (and have, for the most part) that could be used against me. Wouldnt simply knowing about a genjutsu render it useless or am I just over thinking things?

and my second question: Those tailed beasts. They are sexy and I want them but it seems most arent in use. One says that it isnt sealed. So does this mean that the bad boy that isnt sealed is running about and can be sealed whenever its located? or are they all running about? And if not then why is one unsealed and the others off in la la land? I also assume the reserved ones are for those creating characters.

Sorry if I seem like a bother but I need to know everything I can before finishing up my character sheet. He will come out to be awesome.

This site is very particularly about metaknowledge concerning genjutsu. Unless your character has some super sort of scholarly knowledge or is they themselves is a genjutsu expert, knowing each and every illusion you might cast is unlikely.

Secondly, even you know how an illusion works, it does not A. Mean they recognize they're under it or B. Stop its effect. If you're set on fire by illusionary flames, it doesn't stop hurting because you think they're not real.

Finally, Genjutsu Kai's cost is equal to the illusion +2 chakra. So, technically speaking, they'll be using more chakra to instantly release than you will. Illusions also have the value of surprise, which you can take advantage of before they're able to use Kai, which requires a few moments to properly perform.

A sealed beast is one that is currently sealed inside of a Jinchuuriki. There are currently 2 sealed beasts, which means there are 2 Jinchuuriki. On that note; the reserved Jinchuuriki are not available to anyone; whereas the unsealed Jinchuuriki you'll need to speak to an Admin about. You cannot just run into a Jinchuuriki in the wild and catch it. As of now, we are only allowing people to begin with a Jinchuuriki. One may not simply find it IC; for it would be severe metagaming. When beginning with a Jinchuuriki, you are required to RP as often as possible to sustain your position. If you take a vacation for a few weeks, odds are your character will be archived indefinitely.

As for the Genjutsu, Shiro explained it quite well. We severely discourage metagaming, which would in Genjutsu's case be discovering the technique immediately after being placed under it. If someone breaks out of a Genjutsu with no explained reasoning; you may attempt to discuss it with the other member. If that fails, consult a moderator and he/she will overlook the situation.
