The Spiderweb Mercenary: A Renown Title given to Shin despite his low ranking in the criminal world. It refers to his unique usage of puppetry based wire techniques and is mostly unknown outside of the criminal underground. Iga, Yashamaru: An alias adopted by Shin obviously used to preserve a degree of anonymity. Jin, Akira: A secondary alias adopted by Shin obviously used to preserve a degree of anonymity. Bastard | Dick | Asshole: A common insult given to Shin in reference to his rather unfriendly and abrasive attitude. He hears such words so often that he has somewhat adapted them into his own internal dialogue. AGE: Nineteen [19] GENDER: Male [♂] APPEARANCE: PHYSICAL: At the prime age of nineteen [19], the youthful male appears to be the pinnacle of excellent shape, despite the discrepancies that one might expect to be the result of his upbringing. Standing six feet, Shin is quite tall, which in turn gives him a slight advantage towards intimidation. To accompany the feat of genetics that had bestowed his height upon him, Shin possesses what is perhaps a slight unusual frame. Whilst most might expect one of his height to have a wider frame, Shin's form is exactly the opposite. His body appears to have a rather streamlined appearance. Lacking a standard ‘big and tall’ frame, the young mercenary’s height makes him seem to be unusually skinny; far thinner than he actually is. With long legs and a tall body, one might assume that it would be hard for him to run properly or move in any agile way, perhaps crippling in combat, but in truth, he holds no such issues. His frame is lined, not with large, bulky muscles, but with a rather toned wiry type, which only serves to accentuate his unusually slender figure. His body is composed of toned and lean muscles, which allow him to move quickly with ease, whilst still possessing strength despite his lean frame. His abdomen muscles are developed as most Shinobi's should be, appearingto be "cut" all the way; forming the standard ‘V shape’ of one in peak training. His calf and thigh muscles seem to bemore muscular in appearance and he has a long-type calf muscle that is not as short and bulky looking.
When it comes to facial features, it would seem as if his genes wished to give him a rather cruel advantage. Over the course of his youth and teenage years, Shin has been described as handsome, both to his face and behind his back, a fact he never truly acknowledged, but nevertheless he certainly used it to his advantage. He was born with a head of thick head of raven colored hair as opposed to the standard dirty brown of his mother's. He keeps his long hair in such a way that it frames his face in the slightest, accentuating the angular nature of his features with its own messy and a bit butchered of an appearance. Often, when it is not pulled back his hair holds a messy or unkempt aspect to it, but when needed he ties it in a loose pony-tail with a red ribbon, allowing his fringe to cover some of his face.
Occasionally hidden beneath the tuft of hair from his bangs, you will find a set of crimson eyes, appearing much like the well-known Uchiha trait. Yet there is nothing seemingly as special about the pair of eyes through which Shin views the world. Despite the unnatural color, there is often nothing harsh or frightening about them, at least not until he wants there to be. With ease, the eyes of the young male can seem anywhere from kind and warm, to cold and harsh; it all depends on what exactly he wants. Yet, make no mistake there is always that subtle, hidden look of darkness inside his blood-red eyes, the look of a frozen heart, of a man with no problem doing what needs to be done.
His skin is fair, pale, but not to an extent that it would seem unearthly or creepy, it is free of blemishes, the kind of skin that many would spend hours dousing themselves with makeup to obtain. Although the inherited the face of his mother, he most certainly got the nature of his charming features from her, even if they are always constantly in the back glow of the more dark emotions of his father. It is this darkness, which the male wears most often as his face. When he does not need to appear otherwise, his features often appear dead or dark, empty of anything that would give away the thoughts he might be considering at the time. It is not often that the young criminal will allow an emotion show its severity on his features, but when it does break through it appears with quite a fury. When his features do lighten with any emotion, they seem to do so completely.
This can be especially unnerving when one considers the more unnatural aspects of Shin's facial appearance. In an effort to achieve a great deal of shock value, after leaving Kirigakure the male filed each of his visible teeth to a point. Which not only makes a bite from him especially painful, but also gives him a rather shark-like appearance. A trait that some people might find deserving for a man of his caliber.

CLOTHING: In his current life as a Nukenin, Shin's clothing honestly differs very little from his stylistic preferences during his village life. This is simply because he has found little need to change his style of dress as it was first chosen for the ease of movement and level of stealth it granted him, both key aspects he often makes uses of during his present life. As such, during most of his combat or business affairs, Shin dons an outfit of a more traditional style as following: a black shitagi which is a specific style of under under clothing, a black kosode which is a robe with small sleeves, a black hakama which is a type of under-dress designed to cover the legs, a pair of white tabi which are essentially socks, a white obi or sash, and a pair of wooden sandals. The sleeves of his kosode are long enough to cover his entire arm and are also very wide, hanging down when he lifts his arms, which in turn allows him to hide his movement or weapon usage. He also wears black finger-less gloves on both of his hands, as it is a key part of his favorite weapon.
FOREHEAD PROTECTOR: Originally, when Shin was in training and a (not so)loyal shinobi of Kirigakure, he would wear his forehead protector most often in either one of two places. The first and arguably the most common of places is around his neck. When his forehead protector is worn in this position it rest loosely around his neck, either on top of or underneath of his white scarf. The second of the two places is a more situation style of wear. Shin would often don his forehead protector in this location when he is intently focused on something, be it training, battle or some otherwise undetermined situation. At these times, Shin would wear his forehead protector tightly just below his hairline on his forehead, keeping his long hair away from his face and out of his eyes.
As some depiction of his idealism, Shin tossed his Kirigakure headband aside on the same day that he left the village. As such he has not seen the forehead protector after that. Not that he would be likely to wear it anyway, simply because a headband, regardless of having the standard nukenin scratch through the symbol, is a display which marks some form of allegiance. Something that does not serve a blade for hire well.
PERSONALITY:
As a person, it is not quite so difficult to pin him down. In the world of Shinobi, there often seems to be quite a number of people who enact a separate persona for different people or situations. The reasons for this are many, be it to simply mask another, perhaps softer side of themselves, or to present an image they want others to see, it requires no large decree introspection to honestly figure this out. Bearing this in mind, Shin is not one of those types of people. He does not believe in limiting himself in a manner to control the perceptions of others. He will almost always act the way he wants regardless of audience or situation, even if his words or actions are somewhat incendiary and might even result in some degree of personal harm or injury.
With that being said, Shin is an asshole. He is not an asshole as a means of reflection, nor using his abrasive nature to hide a more sensitive side, he is simply just an asshole. Never have been one to moderate himself, the mercenary says what he wants and does what he wants with no true concept of consequences. As a direct result of this, it is entirely expected for almost anyone who meets the young male to refer to him as 'cruel', 'harsh', 'sadist', 'bastard' or any rather negatively inferred adjective one might find in the dictionary. Even those higher in the criminal hierarchy than he, or in some other position which might demand respect, are not likely to be save from his sharp tongue, harsh thinking or poisonous words. To put it simply Shin's interactions with others is marred by his bitter influence. He does not care what he says, what he does or who he hurts. He is always right and as such, everyone else can be damned.
Given his attitude, it would probably come as no surprise that Shin holds very little honest compassion for anything. He does not care. He holds absolutely no sympathy for others around him and with no desire to put himself into their position in attempt to empathy. Unless it bears a direct influence on his continued existence, Shin is likely to simply brush it off and be on his way. He believes in no cosmic overseer nor system of justice, thus had no inherent incentive to help someone as many others might.
However, there are two simple factors which might be capable of motivating the young male into a certain position of false warmth in regards to these manners.
The first of these two motivational boosters as one might call them is the simple gain of power. Above all things, Shin has a deep seated need, an insatiable craving for power. In the criminal underground in which Shin makes his home status is only gained by the strength one possesses. While the simple matter of association might allow one to climb near the top of the ladder, those who climb in this manner are always afraid of the slowly growing power beneath them. Without the power to defend your claim, the claim itself means nothing. Keeping this in mind, if one were to offer Shin a way to increase his own power and by extension his own station in life, then they might find him to suddenly become far more agreeable.
The second of these motivational boosters is far more simple than the previous. As a creäture of material comfort Shin responds entirely too well to money. One might even call it a soft addiction, after all how else would you classify someone who simply amasses material positions while being entirely indifferent towards the needs of others. With that being said, Shin is almost always nearly broke, having squandered his funds on some form of pleasure-seeking behavior, most likely booze or women. As such, he always needs more and will align himself with nearly any cause or purpose to get some. Now, those dealing with Shin should keep in mind that money is not the only valued currency. Shin also deals heavily in information, being intelligent enough to know that you can never have too much as information can equate to power.
Shin is what a great many might refer to as 'morally flexible'. While he does hold some degree of (minor) moral restrictions, he is largely indifferent when ti comes to tasks or crimes he is contracted to commit. He holds no religious belief nor 'herd instinct' which might make him act more squeamishly towards some actions. This is to say that he believes profoundly that there is no sense of things such as ‘good’ or ‘evil’. As he lacks a standard belief system that many have used to guide their action and instead believes that each action can only be ‘morally’ acceptable if it increases either one’s power or pleasure. Further, morally unacceptable actions are the opposite, if they subtract from either of one’s power or pleasure. Whilst others may have a ‘god’ or a set of rules they must follow, Shin’s only true ‘god’ is himself. His pleasure. His power. His survival. These are his only 'religious' testaments.
Clearly with his views on morality as a witness, Shin is a man of great pride and arrogance, one might even say it rivals the size of some of the larger Shinobi nations. This arrogance might be the byproduct of a fascinating level of intellect which grew despite the impoverished conditions of his youth. Or perhaps it is his manner of fronting in a world full of those with more power. Whatever his reasons, it comes with no doubt that his pride or arrogance will likely get him into trouble some day.
Shin is perhaps a frighteningly driven individual with an impressively one-track mind. This is to say, once his mind has been set on a task or goal, he will not waver until he has sufficiently completed it to his own rather high standards. When you couple this driven nature with the young man’s constant curiosity and quest for knowledge, you must certainly understand how he has acquired a most impressive base of knowledge and understanding. Always he has possessed an innate intelligence and capacity to understand beyond that of many others, setting him apart from others with his high aptitude and ability to learn and improvise quickly and under high stress.
Further, Shin is honest to god riddled with a great deal of “negative personality traits and attitude problems” as according to his personality field test. He is narcissistic, self-obsessed, conceited and is hindered by trust issues and a dark attitude, trademarked by a sardonic and sarcastic sense of humor, edge with a bitterness and shined with a touch of hating the world. He is far from your cheerful, happy-go-lucky shinobi, rather he is not only dark, but also moody and at times depressing. This attitude has been with him since a very young age and cannot be singularly attributed to the shit he has experienced over his young life.
Bearing any of the above in mind, Shin has absolutely no honest close personal relationships. He views them entirely as a weakness only serve as something that can be exploited by any enemies. He often acts in the same manner of a lone wolf, keeping almost no connections, doing his best to clear out debts and only seeking the assistance of others in moments of extreme duress.
If you are in need of a man who is willing to do anything for a bit of coin or a bit of power, Shin is most certainly the guy you would be willing to contact. However, be wary, his loyalty only goes to the highest bidder.

THE BACKGROUND. "The destructive character lives from the feeling not that life is worthing living, but that suicide is not worth the trouble."
HISTORY:
- The Tale of a Mercenary:
- Stability was never something Shin could have hoped for in his youth life. He was born nineteen years ago in the depths of a frozen winter. To put it lightly, one could say that he had been an unplanned child; to put it harsher you could say that he was unwanted. His mother had been scarcely into her teens and his father… well it is easiest to say that he obviously didn't stick around. Thus from the date of his birth, it would have been clear to anyone that he wouldn't be one of those children with a normal and happy childhood. There would never be a house with a white picket fence for this young child. His mother was at best description a poor woman willing to do anything for her survival, at worst description, she was a shameful prostitute who was making her rounds in Otogakure at the time. His father had been a rather distasteful Shinobi from a neighboring land. To this day the only thing Shin has left of his father (beyond the obvious genetic inheritance) is his last name and a rather old sketch of his appearance.
- As one might expect from the events surrounding his birth Shin's life as an early child was not one of health nor happiness. Given that caring for a child as one might imagine tends to hinder the activities of the working prostitute he was often left in the care of a number of different 'uncles'. Each of these false relatives inflicted some degree of cruel punishment or torture upon the small child, but given his small size and apathy expressed by his mother, there was little he could do it escape his fate at such a young age.
- By the age of five Shin had done is best to flee the cruel infliction brought upon him by his 'family' quickly fleeing his home before his mother could leave him in the company of these various false relatives. At such a young age he took to the street in which he was forced to very quickly adapt or die. After being caught and nearly having his hands removed (two parts of his body he was very attached to) he was rescued and taken under the wing of a professional thief who made his home in Kirigakure. Not knowing whom his father was, Shin attempted to use a picture he had been given of the man to locate him at this point.
- Although he could not entirely escape the clutches of his mother, Shin spent less and less time with her as he grew attached his newly chosen guardian. Under the tutelage of Yamamoto Shin became a very accomplished thief and to some degree found a passion for all bladed weaponry. During this period Shin entered the Kirigakure Shinobi Academy, his decision being influenced by Yamamoto, who believed that it would greatly increase the skill of a child who already had a fair deal of potential.
- During his period of the Academy, Shin made almost no honest personal attachments, he simply focused on learning and adapting himself to every bit of educational material presented. During this period Shin took a deeper interest in weaponry as well as the usage of puppetry. At the age of eight he built his first puppet [who was the initial basis for and eventually, through modification became the puppet Karite].
- At the age of eleven, when Shin was nearing his graduation for the Academy, his mother died due to some unknown illness that she could not afford to treat. Given his detachment from his mother, this death did not shock him as much as the death of Yamamoto which followed a few weeks after (via a rather gruesome knife wound as a result of him picking the wrong pocket). With no honest guardian to claim him one of his more abusive and cruel 'uncles' stepped forward in attempt to claim guardianship over the young Shinobi in training.
- Rather than be forced to endure living with another one of his mother's contacts or his 'family' Shin sneaked away from the village by hiding himself within the company of a traveling circus on the day before his Academy Graduation. To this day he is simply thought to have gone missing, either murdered or kidnapped by someone in the Kirigakure Ghettos.
- Shin stayed with the traveling circus for quite some time in the more developmental stages of his youth, using his skills in puppetry to earn his keep. During this period he developed the prototype model for his scorpion puppet. He became close associates (unwilling to commit to an entire friendship at this point due to the loss of his mentor) with the knife thrower and weapon master in the circus who schooled the young Nukenin thoroughly in the usage of close and mid range weaponry. It was during this period that Shin began to develop the usage of weaponized wires as an extension of his skill with puppetry.
- At the age of fourteen Shin left the circus on rather friendly terms, with the intention of locating his 'father'. His first destination was Amegakure simply due to the close proximity of the small village from where the circus was currently located. In Amegakure, Shin did not find his father, but rather fell in with a guild of Thieves and Mercenaries. He initially put his already accomplished thieving skills to good use for the guild and utilized this time to increase his talents. He initially lacked the stomach for mercenary work, but after a year or two in service to the guild he began to perform both sets of tasks.
- After three years of working under the service of the Guild Shin left intent on continuing his search for this father. Armed only with a faded and old sketch he continues his search moving country to country, intent on delivering a fair degree of vengeance upon the man who left him to endure such a cruel fate.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
- An Evening Meeting:
A sigh escaped the young Genin's lips as he looked around at the training field.
'Here we are again... The training ground was becoming an all too common sight for the young Senju after the past several weeks. He had well memorized the layout by now. Once again he was here, the scene of one of his least favorite memories. The kind of memory that he always attempted to push out of his mind, but no matter what it would always claw its way back in. He shook his head once again trying to push away the thoughts he always seemed to tiptoe around and looked around the small training area, examining the area despite his already present familiarity.
The late evening light reflected off of the mist as Atsuhiko looked around the training field in this district. If one could see it through the mist, they would be able to tell that the sky was lit with a display of orange and red as the sun had already begun to set. As usual it was the thickness of the aforementioned stereotypical Kirigakure Mist what obscured a good deal of what Atsuhiko could see as far as the features within the training ground. Despite this he knew it would be quite adequate to his needs and began to recall the features from memory alone and if he could not see the features, his other senses clued him in well.
He could feel through the small holes in his sandals that the ground was covered almost entirely in thin blades of green grass which in turn were slightly damp from the mist and atmosphere of the late evening making them a bit more slippery than normal. It was from memory that he knew there was small pond which was well suited for the usage of Suiton techniques roughly ten meters to his left. Other than he could well remember two more dominant features, the training ground was populated with both trees, which were few in number and planted sporadically and training dummies, which were more common than the trees, but still well spaced out.
The young Senju was well dressed for the slight chill in the weather with his most standard clothing. He wore; a white shitagi,a black kosode and hakama, a pair of white tabi, a pair of waraji, a white obi, and a pair of wooden sandals. For the most part, much of his outer clothing was a bit too big for the young Senju, draping and giving him a very baggy appearance. His sleeves were just long enough that they could hide his hands if he desired and of course his gourd was strapped to his back, the top reaching to roughly his shoulder level and the bottom extending to just above his butt it was not large in size and thus no too hindering of his movements. He had recently come to realize that his clothing did well to obscure his movements which in turn applied well to his standard strategy of combat, but in truth it was not so much his movements that the young Senju wished he could hide of late.
As he took a careful and counted number of steps to the edge of the small lake Atsuhiko remembered exactly why he was here tonight. In what seemed like years ago from the Genin's perspective, he had promised Kirima that he would meet her here three days after their first meeting and that had been just shy of two weeks ago. 'Just two weeks...?' He felt like it had been so much longer, but at the same time he felt rather apprehensive about meeting the female even now. He pulled a small pack of newly bought cigarettes (something he could not even be sure exactly why he had bought) out of his left pocket and mulled them over with his hand as he began to remember why he had avoided seeing Kirima for so long.
Only two days after Atsuhiko had met the red haired woman, he had fought Rukasu in this very training field. What had started as a friendly spar had became something else entirely, only to end with Rukasu's charred and burnt corpse being somewhere fifteen meters below the general area in which the young Senju was standing.
It was an event he was still struggling to come to terms with and the young Genin did not feel as if he was worthy to see Kirima for a long time afterward. In some form rationale that would make little sense to others Atsuhiko felt as if he now lacked the innocence that had seemed to appeal to the female in the conversation of their first meeting and as such he was afraid of seeing her again. He was not sure he could hide such a thing from the woman and had no way of knowing how she would react to such a revelation. It was because of these reasons that he had stood her up on their second meeting and avoided contacting her since, as a means of putting off a future meeting. He was not sure he could handle it if she reacted badly, but at the same time he didn't know how to keep a secret. When they first met he felt as if she had seen a light in him and he felt a strong need to be able to see such a thing in himself or in the world at all after recent events.
As such, it was only with a great deal of courage that Atsuhiko had sent her a letter asking her to meet him here, although the act itself was quite cowardly because the young Genin could not bring himself to seek her out and talk to her face to face. On some level the Senju hoped she would not show, something that would allow him to avoid putting off the meeting, but on the opposite side of the same token, he knew he would feel like rather heartbroken if she did not. He was stuck between in a chaotic mess of fear on both ends of the spectrum and in many ways he felt as if he needed some form of light to see his way back to who he was in the past. COMBAT STYLE: While it is true that the aged fighter is skilled in two areas that give him great versatility in the field of combat, he does not consider either one of these to be anywhere near his main specialization or primary focus in battle. Much like anyone who hopes to be a skilled combatant, Shin revolves his combat style upon emphasizing the areas in which he skills and in turn, utilizing those areas to counteract the strategies of his opponents. With that being said it becomes obvious that Shin values his inherent intelligence far more than any other area of 'skill' he might possess. While utilizing his 'most valued skill' Shin's combat style focuses on countering and controlling the opponent. Despite possessing two of the most varied areas of skill specialization, Puppetry and Weaponry Techniques, the elder male does not focus on using such skills to overtake his opponent by means of brute force. That is not to say he wont use force when necessary, however Shin would much rather prefer to study and incorporate his opponents actions into his own strategy and allow their own actions to inevitably lead to their defeat. Despite the sadistic tendencies in his personality and as a result, a strong desire for him to 'play with his food', Shin generally tends to end every combat situation quickly and efficiently.
During the training of his youth, Shin found himself quite overtaken with the art of weaponry. His favorite areas of further study within this area being close range weaponry, with items such a swords or various other bladed objects (such precious things as they are); as well as, mid range weaponry, incorporating spears and fans into his arsenal. Given his training, his skill and adept usage of bladed weapons comes to no surprise and Shin is most likely to use this area of 'expertise' to compensate for his lack of close range specialization. One of Shin's primary trademarks is his usage of a specialized Boken rather than a more standard Katan, however his opponent should not underestimate him because of this as the weapon is deadly in its own right. He also prefers to fight with a bit less honor and utilize a number of rather sneakily placed knives and daggers to give him the upper hand in a fight. On the other end of the spectrum, Shin utilizes his skills in mid range weaponry to control the ebb and flow of the battle in some sense. Given that his weapon of choice (and true trademark weapon) is a set of specially adapted wires, they allow him to control the direction of the combat quite easily, while still delivering a deadly amount of damage. In a 'game' which such focus is geared towards blocking and/or entirely dodging such attacks, Shin chooses to use his skills to guide and manipulate the position of his opponent, only utilizing them to cause lethal damage when he is certain to have a clean shot.
With some degree of abnormality, Shin has also chosen to invest a large amount of time into the study of puppetry and their usage of combat. This decision came about as a result of his already extensive study into weaponry, because in the grand scheme of things the usage of puppets is simply an extension of weaponry. With that in mind, Shin not only utilizes his puppetry to restrict or damage his opponent, but also as an extension of his weaponry skills. As a result it might not be uncommon to see the mercenary using his weapons not by hand, but rather by means of puppet strings.

Poison Name: Nijimu Rank: C Poison Description: The poison is developed from a simple natural compound which when ingested into the bodies natural systems inflicts Diplopia upon the target. This poison can be inflicted upon a target in number of different ways depending on state of it's usage [each infliction manner is defined with the description of each state], but regardless how the poison is injected into the target's system, the effects are the same. Diplopia, also known as double vision, is the simultaneous perception of two images of a single object that may be displaced horizontally, vertically, or diagonally in relation to each other. This poison induces a dual degree of Diplopia, altering both the horizontal and vertical perceptions of those infected. Solid State: In the solid state, this poison is in the form of a powder. To effect the target in this state the poison must make contact with either an open wound or an open orifices, be it having been ingested through the mouth, inhaled through the nose, or caught in the eyes. Liquid State: This water must be combined with boiling water to give it a liquid state. In liquid state the poison can only be injected into the user's system by means of an open wound and as such is most effective used on the edges of bladed weaponry. Gaseous State: To create a gaseous state of this poison, the user must first create the liquid state and then boil it at high temperatures while containing the gas. Name: Ninjato Rank: D Type: Close Range - Short Blade Quantity: 2 Description: Short and straight, this blade takes a similar form of a katana, but without the curvature in the blade. With the blade measuring no more than one and a half feet, and a square guard on top, this weapon has been popularized by many ninja, especially the ANBU, hence the name.

The tomahawk due to its size is able to be wielded with great ease and can be stored quickly. This weapon is versatile in the fact that can be fashioned as a ranged throwing weapon, or for quick close-quarter strikes.
Name: Boken Rank: D Type: Close Range - Club Quantity: 1 Description: A Boken is a Japanese wooden sword used for training. It is usually the size and shape of a katana. It has a curved, slender, 'blade' that is three feet in length, with a small circular guard, and long grip to accommodate two hands. Shin's Boken is unique in the fact that it is constructed out of entirely metal, which grants it a more club like nature, which allows for more blunt damage, but also makes the weapon slightly heavier.

Used with one hand, and has a variety of possible uses; such as disarming, whipping, binding and even wrapping ledges.
Name:Kokujou Rank:C Type: Mid-Wire Quantity:2 Storage: Worn on his wrists. Description: Kokujou is a simple wire based weapon which gains most of the initial inspiration from the usage of puppet strings. The wire itself is constructed of steel and by extension both fairly durable and flexible. This wire can be manipulated by the user to bind or otherwise inhibit opponents. Although it is thin, it is capable of handling a large amount of stress when the stress is dissipated through multiple points of the wire. As a result of the thin nature of the wire, it is also extremely sharp when under the influence of momentum or force. This wire can also be coated with poison. When not in use the wire is stored in a tight spool around the user's wrists which allows it to be called upon and manipulated at ease. Each set of wire is woven around a set of fingerless leather gauntlets,extending from wrist to forearm when not in use, each gauntlet holds 76m of wire. Although the length of the wire seems excessive, when considering the binding nature in which it is used, the length is appropriate. The wire itself is entirely black which prohibits it from gleaming in the sunlight and makes it difficult to see.

PUPPETS:
- Sasoriza:
Name:Sasoriza Rank:C Appearance:Sasoriza is a rather large offensive puppet. The puppet itself is designed to look like a giant scorpion, with the following dimensions; 10ft |3m in length from the tip of its head to the beginning of the tail and a tail length of 5ft|1.5m, the claws are two feet in length of 2ft |0.6m. The puppet body is composed of compressed blackened wood, with a plated structure of wood forming up the outer shell which, not only adds to the toughness of the outer body, but also grants the puppet with an appearance similar to that of an exoskeleton of a scorpion. Befitting of the scorpion motif, its eight legs are segmented four times, which in turn grants it a quick crawling like appearance while in motion.
Within the puppet there are a total of four weapons. In the claws of the scorpion there are two separate Senbon launchers. In the place of its mouth there is a single Shuriken launcher and at the tip of its tail there is a small mechanized slot to launch a grenade or vial filled with a gaseous based poison. While this puppet might seem to excel long-range, it is designed to rapidly close the distance between the user and his opponent and utilize all of it's ranged capabilities up close making them far more difficult to dodge.

Up to five needles can be launched at once, resulting in deadly surprise. The needles can be poisoned; the device holds up to 40 senbon.

This launcher can be used to send shuriken at the opponent at high speeds with great accuracy. Up to 12 shuriken can be launched at once, and the launcher can hold up to 60 in total.
Name: Poison Smoke Bomb Launcher Rank: C Slots Required: 2 Type: Long Range Quantity: 5 Description: Typically affixed to the arm of the puppet, the this poison smoke bomb launcher can fire up to 5 projectiles. These come in the form of metal canisters filled with compressed, thick black gas. Once released, the gas will begin to quickly seep out into the environment. After only a post, it will cloud an entire 5m radial area with a thick dark smoke which takes 3 posts to disperse, or can immediately be dispersed with a wind technique of any rank. This bomb can be equipped with and poison which primarily exists in a gaseous state.

Name:Karite Rank:C Appearance: In a striking difference between the last puppet, Karite takes on a more humanoid appearance rather than one based on an arachnid. The appearance of this puppet is best described , to mimic that of a Grim Reaper Much like the previous creation, this puppet is also constructed of a treated black would, making it fairly durable. Its head is rounded at the top, but grows narrow at the bottom,with two fang-like points taking shape at the chin. The puppet is marked by crudely depicted facial features, with two simple holes as representation for nostrils and two small painted eyes which are capable of rolling around should the puppeteer desire. In a more lifelike feature this puppet also has a small mouth hole that can be opened or closed at the puppeteer will.
The neck extends downward to connect into the main torso of the body, to which are attached two long arms, design to hold the puppets primary method of attack. Beyond the torso of the puppet it loses it's humanoid definition, with spinal cord extending downward in which it can act like the tail of a scorpion. However, bearing this in mind, the anatomy of the puppet is mostly hidden behind a tattered black cloak, leaving only the face and hands outside the cloth. Furthermore, upon it's back is holster for the scythe the puppet carries. Because the puppet does not have legs, the puppeteer must create the illusion of its ability to hover via their own control.
Within this puppet there are three weapons. The first and most obvious is a scythe which is built into its hands. The second is a Shuriken launcher which is hidden inside the head of the puppet and can be fired while the mouth is open. The third is a smoke bomb launcher hidden in the bottom of its torso. The puppet is designed to get close to the opponent and keep it occupied with it's dangerous scythe whilst prohibiting their vision with the smoke bombs.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Name: Youji - Toothpick Rank: E Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: Though the toothpick looks like it might be a quirk of user’s, it actually functions as a weapon in battle. Similar to a senbon, the user can spit the toothpick at his/her opponents to injure them. He/she can also spit it at incoming projectiles to knock them away. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Supin - Spin Rank: D Type: Weapons Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Taking a throwing weapon, senbon and kunai generally working best, the user throws the weapon with a slight spin to it, akin to a bullet. The spin stabilizes the thrown weapon, increasing it's effective range and power. For example, a kunai thrown at long range would hold accuracy and damage close to that of being thrown at mid-range. Name: Ayatsuito no Jutsu - String Reeling Technique Rank: D Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a technique utilizing wire. This string can be used in rappeling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent. Name: Kage Senbon no Jutsu - Shadow Senbon Technique Rank: D Type: Weaponry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 1om) Element: N/A Description: This technique seems to be a variation of the Shadow Shuriken Technique, replacing shuriken with senbon. The user throws at the same time a senbon with a distracting item attached to it, and another one without it, so that the opponent will only react to the more obvious projectile and won't notice the other senbon. However, if the opponent recognises the trick behind it, this technique is easy to evade. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu - Shadow Shuriken Technique Rank: D Type: Weaponry Range: Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: N/A Description: It's an extremely simple technique where two shuriken, like the Fūma Shuriken, are piled one onto another and thrown simultaneously. However, depending on the way it's used, it can prove its absolute efficiency. The trick is to somehow draw the enemy's attention towards the upper shuriken. Then, to deal with the path of the lower shuriken. If the enemy notices both shuriken, the technique ends up losing all of its efficiency. Chakra Cost: 3

This jutsu requires no hand seals. After activation, the user will rush towards the target and make a giant swing with massive power in order to try and cleave them in half. This swing will be powerful enough to crush rock, depending on the size and momentum of the sword. Instead of using hand seals, the user will gather chakra within their arms before use. Name:Live Wire Technique Rank:C Type:Weaponry Range: Close (0-5m) Mid (5-10m) Element:Raiton Description:A lightning alternative to the previous jutsu. This technique grants the user some degree of control over the flow of the wire through the application of the lightning element coating the length of the wire. By utilization of the this element the user can control the manipulation of the wire up to a 10m range, allowing it to act in resistance to equal rank wind techniques or even travel through water or earth without resistance. After the small lightning charge coats the wire, there is enough of a charge into the technique to cause a mild numbness (a simple loss of sensation in the area effected, similar to when your limb falls asleep)and a minor shock over areas which come in contact with the wire. Name: Soushuriken no Jutsu - Manipulate Shuriken Technique Rank: D Type: Puppetry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: N/A Description: After hurling his/her giant shuriken, the user can control their path and movements by using wires which run from the shuriken itself back to his arm. Because his/her opponent will think they are normal shuriken, they will be off guard about their ability to redirect themselves. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Kugutsu no Jutsu • Puppetry Technique Rank: C Type: Puppetry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to use a puppet to attack from afar in battle. This is done by using chakra and forming them into strings which are then emitted from the fingers to the puppet. Should the user’s hands become disabled, either through physical injury or chakra impairment, this technique becomes neutralized. Chakra Cost: 5 (2 Per Post)
Name: Soushuuha - Manipulate Advancing Blades Rank: C Type: Puppetry Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to hover multiple kunai in the air with their chakra, and direct them to an opponent. Using this technique, the user can unleash a torrent of kunai much more quickly than if each one was thrown individually. By using the Puppet Technique with this jutsu, the user may control discarded or already used weapons. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Kawara Shuriken - Roof Tile Shuriken Rank: C Type: Puppetry Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: This jutsu is similar in principle to Manipulating Attack Blades, but uses spinning tiles instead of regular weapons. In addition to being able to control the tiles remotely, the user can pressurize the tiles with chakra to make them far stronger than normal and capable of dealing the same damage as regular shuriken. Chakra Cost: 7

Name:Fūton Kugutsu no Jutsu | Wind Release Puppetry Technique Rank:C Type:Puppetry Range: Close (0-5m) Mid (5-10m) Far (10+m) Element: Fūton Description:Similar in nature to the Kugutsu no Jutsu this technique acts initially on the same principle as the Puppetry Technique as once connected the strings are capable of controlling a puppet or item from afar. This is done by using chakra and forming them into strings which are then emitted from the fingers to the puppet. Should the user’s hands become disabled, either through physical injury or chakra impairment, this technique becomes neutralized. However, the initial placement of this technique differs from the parent technique. Where Kugutsu no Jutsu requires contact with the object to attach the puppet strings, this technique through application of the wind element allows the user to propel a chakra string outward to their intended target by infusing the strings with the wind element. This allows the user to attach the chakra strings to any object at a distance, much like a spider may attach its web. By utilizing the wind release element they may reverse the flow of the string allowing the user to either pull and object towards them, or themselves towards an object. Chakra Cost:6 (2 Per Post)

Yes and if I recall there is a section in the staff lounge which dictates who has and has not been given approval as well. Which (unless Darius was dishonest) should have been updated yesterday with approval for said permission.
It saves time and prevents rather pointless posts. |

That is literally all I can find wrong with it at the moment. Sure I will when I read it again tomorrow but for now that is all. |

I fixed the grand total of five [or possibly six] instances of double words, beyond that, to fine tooth the grammar to the Nth degree is an asinine act of moderation. There were a few instances which I fixed, but beyond that a large majority is passive voice, complex phrases or my comma abuse. None of which does much to infringe upon readability.
With that in mind I have completed this pointless and time-consuming task of moderation. However, I fail to see why it needed to be conducted as a separate step from all the other moderation that may or may not be required.
