So, Obito finally became like the Rikudo Sennin, having Even More tomoe on his body while somehow removing the Hiraishin seals like they were never there in the first place. One of many things that bother me is that Obito was breaking apart under the weight of the Juubi, yet when people intend to finish him, he just goes "Lolnope" and masters the Juubi right away, doing what took the other Jinchuuriki years, despite the power of the Ten Tails being worlds apart from the others. And another thing, where the fuck did that Shakujo (Sage Staff) suddenly come from? Did he hide it in his pooper?

What I liked about this chapter is that Naruto finally starts showing some brains by taking in the things his father said, mainly about the Flying Thunder God requiring physical or chakra contact in order to work. Seeing some Minato action was long overdue, while I would also love to see more about Hiruzen, Tobirama and Hashirama.... and Madara I guess. Not the stuff he stole from Hashirama, but his own shit, because if there had been a time when he was almost on par with Hashirama, he must have a lot more tricks up his old bag, not to mention that he has the original rinnegan.

Now, one of the things I missed here is Hashirama, seeing as he was rushing over to fight Obito, then got stopped by Madara that claimed he was "Out of time". I get how Hiruzen and Tobirama need to reform, though Madara clearly stated that he would not stand by while Obito got stronger, yet both himself and the "God of Shinobi" are doing what, playing checkers?

In Obito's defense, the Juubi has no soul so the only thing that was working against him was just the sheer amount of power. The other jinchurriki had the beasts actively working against them with their own agendas. Still, bullshit Uchiha powers are likely also at work here. As for the staff, its just chakra. If you look closely, its solid black, like the Bijuudama. He was already manipulating its shape beforehand, so this is just him showing off.

But Hiruzen said that Obito could not control the chakra for too long, which is why I find it strange that this staff suddenly sticks around. It was it's one exposed weakness, though that was just beaten out too, which I find lame.

The resemblance is not that unbelievable, seeing as the Rikudou Sennin was also the Juubi's Jinchuuriki. For all we know, his iconic look only came to be after he made himself into a Jinchuuriki. If that's the case, that explains why Obito looks so much like the Rikudou Sennin. Hell, Naruto bore a striking similarity to the Sennin when he mastered the Kyuubi's chakra, remember?

Hiruzen's comment about how Obito lacked control over the Juubi was because Obito's body was still adapting to the Juubi's presence, hence the random body part expansions and whatnot. Now, with his Rikudou Sennin-esque appearance, it's clear that Obito has more or less become a complete Jinchuuriki, and therefore does not have any problem with controlling the Juubi's chakra now. In other words, that exploitable weakness is now voided.

That being said, I still don't give a fuck about Obito. I enjoyed the scenes where he was being ripped apart far more than I should have.

Honestly, I'm enjoying this, only bec I'm not putting much stock into the chapters. I'm just reading them, I figured out when you stop trying to find everything wrong with the chapter, it becomes much more enjoyable.

Oh, don't get me wrong, someone who is willing to do all of this stuff because he has been unable to tend to his dicky since the death of Rin is about the saddest fuck you'll ever see in this lifetime. I just find the way in which he masters all those powers that are beyond any mortal man... astonishing.
