Shikachi has dark brown hair. His eyes are a beautiful, they are such a shade of white that they actually look light blue. It is as if his eyes have the beauty of the stars, galaxies, and planets. His eyes are his best physical feature. They are almost hypnotizing if you look into them for a long time. He wears shorts, and a Black shirt that has the Konohagakure symbol on the back of it. He wears Black ninja shoes. He wears a black Konohagakure headband with acouple of scratches from all of the extensive training he does. He has perfect lightskin. He wears his kunai, and shuriken holsters on his right side.

He has his special Katana on his back in a light blue sheath. The sword has a Silver blade with a wavy graphic going down the middle of his sword. His sword has a sort of fancy exotic car look to it. Everything about Shikachi is sort of clean and pure, and a little mysterious.. That is the vibe you get when you look at Shikachi. He is never dirty and takes a great pride in his appearance.

Personality:Shikachi is a very nice and calm character. He has a calm personality due to the fact that he is in the great Hyuuga clan. He is very intelligent and tries his hardest on everything that he tries. He loves making new friends. He is very clever when it comes to fighting and is a strong hearted person. He loves to fight and spar and he is always training, to get better of course. Also he loves to learn new jutsu. His most important attributes are his wisdom and his charm, he is very good with the ladies. He is good in school and is nice to the teachers so most of the students call him a teachers pet. Shikachi is strong and has a good sense of humor. He has bad timing though. For example he'll make a joke in the middle of a heated battle or he'll laugh in the middle of class. Shikachi is just an all around good guy who has a good heart and loves being nice to people.

The gentle fist - The Gentle Fist style of combat is based on palm strikes and generally aims to damage the body's Chakra Pathway System, thus creating difficulty by inhibiting an opponent's use of chakra. To do this, the user will forcefully insert a small amount of their own chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. The chakra can then be used to rupture or divert chakra flow, preventing them from using jutsu. Any chakra based substance can be countered/destroyed by using the gentle fist style to force chakra into it. This is done by using the chakra openings in ones hands to shape their own chakra into needles which can cut through chakra itself. It can also be used to attack the opponent's internal organs, to which the chakra pathway system is closely tied. Even the slightest tap from this style can cause major damage, hence the name "gentle fist." Because the chakra pathway system is invisible, the Byakugan is required for this style to be used effectively. Since the Byakugan is unique to the Hyūga clan, it has become their signature style of combat.

Kekkei Genkai:
The Byakugan is a Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai, a genetic trait, that is shared amongst the members of the Hyūga Clan. Those that inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes. It has two different settings, dormant and activated, both of which take a slightly different appearance from the other form. The normal eye for a Hyuuga clan member differs from a normal human eye. The iris and pupil are barely discernable with both appearing a milky white in color. The pupil itself is larger than a typical humans and it is outlined by a black region. The sclera remains normal except the larger size of the pupil reduces ones ability to view it. Once the eye is fully activated, the hidden iris becomes more apparent. Also when providing blood and chakra for the eyes' bloodline vision, veins will bulge lateral to each eye.

The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is having the ability to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person. This is often determined by both rank and skill. At the genin level it can reach up to 100 meters. At Chunin this increases drastically reaching out to 400 meters. At jounin this goes up even more to 800 meters. A Kage level Hyuuga is capable of seeing up to 2km in all directions. However, the third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, as well as the chakra circulation system inside another's body. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. (see Clan Traits above).

This allows the member to see all angles of attack. If an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.

History:

The Hyuuga are one of the oldest and most powerful clans in Konoha, being one of its two great Dojutsu clans. They aided in the founding of the leaf village, though played a much smaller role in its founding then the Senju and Uchiha did. They quickly established a high ranking amongst the ninja squadrons and became well known to all, just the mention of the Byakugan or the name Hyuuga wining an instant air of respect. Their clan is based highly on nobility and even with in itself has its own social structure.

The clan is split into two different families. One being known as the main and the other being the branch. This social division has always been their greatest flaw. The Main family often holds themselves to be higher up and more important then the branch family, and basically the branch is looked down upon like lesser individuals and sometimes even pawns which can be thrown away for the villages sake. To be looked at most appropriately, the Main are the Kings, and the Branch are the peasants. It even goes so far that a destructive seal is placed on the forehead of all Branch family members which can be used to instantly destroy a branch member if they do not follow the orders of the Main family.

In recent times, this wall has begun to get broken down, and the destructive seal is being used less and less. Cooperation is beginning to flourish between the two houses which is leading to prosperous outcomes. It is unknown if this will continue or if it is a momentary laps of peace. It will all come down to the heads of the clan for each generation, and it will be up to them to dictate which path will be taken, segregation, or unity.

Origin: Passed down in the Hyuuga clan. Was supposed to be given to Shikachi by his father but he was killed before given the chance.

Background Information

History:

Shikachi was born in Konoha. He had amazing eyes ever since he was born. At the age of five he began school. Ever since he started school at the academy he was a top notch ninja, a prodigy for sure. He got the top scores in his class every year. He trained a lot due to the fact that both his parents were Konoha ninja. Every night before Shikachi would go to sleep he would go outside with his parents and gaze at the beauty of the stars in the sky. He loved to look at the stars. Everyday he would try to find new stars that he hasnt seen before. Shikachi's Guardian parents taught him many things about how to be a ninja. They taught them there own ninja code, "Always save a comrade, even if you dont leave with your life". Shikachi has followed that ninja way ever since his parents taught it to him. Shikachi's Guardian Father died on a mission to the Kirigakure when Shikachi was 9.

Shikachi was in a slump in many things for about a year. His grades had fell, his skills began to decrease, and finally he didnt talk to anyone. Until he turned eleven when he realized that the he needed himself since he had no one else to depend on. He began to get his grades back, His skills were better then ever, and he began to make new friends. His Guardian Mother resided as a ninja when Shikachi turned eleven because of her illness. Shikachi trained harder and harder every day until he finally passed the academy exams to become a genin by the time he turned 13.

His Guardian mother died on the day of his 13th birthday. Shikachi met a ninja in the park 5 days after his mother died. This ninja gave him a katana that was very unique and had special abilities. This sword was passed down from generation to generation the ninja told him. His father died before he had the chance to give it to Shikachi. Shikachi Practiced with the weapon not knowing about its origins.One day he was training in the forest and loved it ever since then he's battled with it. Shikachi was so in love with this weapon that he carried it with him everywhere he went, when he was sleeping, whenever. He trained too much one day and over exhausted himself dramatically, only to be brought to the hospital by a fellow ninja.

He woke up in the hospital three weeks later with his sword by his side. He asked a nurse what happened. She told him that some strange ninja picked him up after he fainted from training too hard. Shikachi had a thought that it was the same strange ninja that gave him the sword after his mother passed away. Shikachi Stayed in the hospital for another two weeks before finally having enough energy and the doctors permission to leave. Shikachi trained more after he got out of the hospital but was careful not to over work himself. He never participated on missions or anything that usual genin do until recently, Shikachi mainly trained for the 1 year after his mother died learning how to use his clan jutsu and Sword hoping to achieve greatness. Shikachi has become very skilled with this weapon and it is now his main weapon. Shikachi uses it a lot of the time. Shikachi thinks of his sword not only as a weapon but sort of as a constant reminder of who he is and who his parents were. Shikachi is now a 14 yr old Genin and is a very skilled shinobi.

Role-Play Sample:
Shikachi was laying in bed, listening to the sound of his alarm. He was tired from all the training he did the day before. Man i shouldn't train so much, im sure its not healthy he thought to himself. After 5 minutes of hearing his alarm he finally got up and turned it off. Shikachi had his headband on before he even brushed his teeth, he took a shower and got dressed then went out to train. You should take your own advice some time kid, said a voice in Shikachis head. "Shut up Sake" Shikachi said in a joking manner, ever since Shikachis mother died he'd been having a voice in his head and eventually welcomed it and named it Sake. Sake is Shikachis only friend since he lost both of his parents, so he's never mean to him or her or whatever it is just so that it'll never leave him.

Shikachi walked out his house and headed straight for the training grounds. When he got there he began right away by pulling his sword out of his sheath and cut down a diced a couple of trees into pieces. "Eh, that was alright i guess" Shikachi said to himself. He then began focusing his chakra, into his sword atleast. Within a second the sword was engulfed in lightning.
Shikachi walked up to a tree and thrusted the sword into the ground maybe 4 ft from the tree. He created his handseals and used his Element Wall jutsu to send a thin wall of lightning straight up the middle of the tree cutting it in half and burning it simultaneously. Shikachi just lost his urge for training after that. He picked up his stuff and headed home for some ramen.

For Lightning Touch, when you deactivate, do you have to use more chakra?

For Lightning Pulse, if the electricity is spread out in a wave, why is it stronger than a direct hit? It should be weaker seeing as it is spread out, otherwise it'd be B rank.

Also to have the sword, you'd need weaponry.

For lightning touch he has to use a little more chakra to deactivate it, but seeing as it doesnt take much chakra in the first place, it takes about the same amount for both activation and deactivation.

I'm sorry, I miss worded it, when you reactivate, deactivating shouldn't cost chakra.

Keep in mind that the katana mentioned in special Characteristics would have no abilities beyond being a sentimentlal value, otherwise you would need the weaponry specialization to wield it.

I think it would take a little more chakra to re activate it because he would have to sort of redistribute the chakra through his body again. But it wouldnt be much of a difference. And wait so i can keep the sword if it's just a strong blade?

Lightning Touch is too powerful for a D Rank jutsu, also, as I'm commonly repeating directly targetting the nerves is for medics only, paralysis caused by Raiton techniques is a side-effect, not a direct effect, the main things are burning and pain.

Lightning Pulse, seems more B Rank, too much chakra control for a C Rank jutsu.

Edited hopefully complete. Lightning touch isn't an extreme amount of chakra so i think it should be a C rank. If it were a huge amount of chakra i'd put it as a B rank. The lightning pulse also isn't that powerful. It doesn't have an extensive reach. Fixed the Taijutsu.

I wouldn't necessarily consider this a 'B' ranked technique due to the limited ability of it.

This is more or less the exact same ability as the previous one mentioned. I don't believe it's necessary for it to be there, given the fact that it can only be used when the context of the RP allows it. Furthermore, you could just say you used the other ability to knock them into a wall. A whole new juitsu isn't needed.

I believe those two are from the clan information, so edits to that need to go up in Staff rather than on application posts. Anyhow, the lightning jutsu I addressed have yet to be edited as I directed and your post hasn't done anything to change what I've stated, or even address it. The second jutsu is B for chakra control, no quantity.
