The Shōkan are a rather unique group of people; often more so slim, and physically underdeveloped compared to others due to their unique society. The Shōkan are known to have dark-to midnight black hair, and strangely colored eyes ranging from yellow-to deep sea green. Mostly related to their primary style of attack; or most closely related animal. Shōkan eye's are known to change from the more common yellow to a dark blue upon reaching maturity; also known as the Awakening. The Awakening is a ritual in which the Clan Member is capable of fully mastering their animal-companions family, and often features various dances, rituals, and unique rites of passage.

The Shōkan feature large; and often flaunting Robes and Kimono's compared to the normal Village Attire, and are known due to this fact. Anyone knowing of the people can easily tell them from a normal Shinobi. Shōkan are also known to carry various seals located around their body; arms, legs, and chest covered in dark ink tattoos, and markings. The Shōkan also commonly adorn a pair of Clogs, and a large Straw Hat to protect their often delicate skin.

As easily known The Shōkan are quite inferior in the usage of Taijutsu but aren't banned from its usage; instead allowing each member to attempt to push the odds and achieve their dreams.

Kekkai Genkai l or Unique Trait

The Shōkan are a unique clan of Summoning Specialist; born and raised into this unique training, and fighting art form. The Shōkan possess nearly unmatched levels of skills in this trait; so much so that is actually passed along genetically to those of true blood. Each Shōkan is different however as each member has a different natural level of skill or unique animal or summoning-type that they are naturally inclined into using. Such as various animals or Clan-unique summons. One could have a natural incline to Crabs and another Cockroaches. It is variously determined at birth through the unique rituals and birth ceremony.

The History of the Meaning

The Shōkan or the Family of the Summoning has been around for nearly six hundred years; hailing originally from the Land of Tea, and the Land of Snow. The two families eventually meeting in the Land of Water, and thus the first meeting of the Families was born. Every ten years both groups send one member to represent them in a test of skill. The Family from Snow being experts in Taijutsu and the Family from Tea being experts in The Art of Summoning. This continued for many years; and still is rumored to occur even to this day.

Both Families were forged back in the days of peace, and are rumored to have really begun in The Land of Stone before a Clan-wide argument broke them into two groups; this is true. Originally a single family; the group broke apart when two tiding members valued the position of Clan Head, and a massive battle assured. The "war" raged for nearly eight years; both members never breaking hope as they attempted to claim the head, and thus a hidden art known only to the Leader of the Family. The two families secretly met under a large oak tree, and sealed away this art to avoid the continued war; leaving both tiding "Leaders" out of the ordeal.

This leading to the eventual separation, and dividing of the families.

Since that day they continue to test each other in an attempt to seize control of both families, and every year the two seem to tie in battle, and thus it continues. While this is the truth of the family; the two groups have begun to break apart, and divide over the lands. Only a few true members capable of continuing the clan's heritage due to the years of blood-dividing, and only those true to the clans heritage can understand. Once every ten or twenty years a true blood member is born, and thus the cycle begins again.

No matter what happens, nor will ever happen. The members understand the value of the battles that are undertook, and know that it will never end. Only when one member truly values honor over revenge will this endless pain finally end.

Description: The Nine Divine Walls of Peace l Shōkan Clan Technique & Hidden Style is an advanced technique that requires extreme focus. Once the set technique is used. (Nine Divine Walls Falling Technique) The user applies a surge of elemental Chakra around the formed structure, and forces it to slowly sink into the ground. This takes a few moments of time and can be quite setting for the user if lack of defense is held, as the structure sinks into the ground and slowly vanishes it begins to absorb all outer-forced Chakra, and thus any type of Ninjutsu or Elemental Effects Taijutsu contained while the trapped person attempts to break from the box. The only assured way to break the box is from the outside with a single well-placed S Ranked Technique or two A Ranked Techniques. Anything less is absorbed by the structures mass. Once forced underground; the user begins to slowly suffocate. A B-ranked Drilling or Compacted Impact based attack can break the wall as well but only the directed segment of wall.

Description: The Nine Divine Walls Falling Technique l Shōkan Clan Technique & Hidden Style is an advanced Summoning Technique of the Shōkan Clan by prepping the technique before hand the user can apply a special "Summoning" seal in the midst of battle to summon forth the pre-made structure of choice or well the walls capable of being manipulated to form it or any shape they desire. The most commonly being a box like structure of five to nine walls. Each wall acts as a separate section but can easily connect, and forge together to form solid single objects or various smaller ones. First the user completes the required set of seals, and slams their hands against the ground. Beneath their hands a massive seal is formed, and as the seal is completed does several walls expand, and come forth from it. Due to the complex nature of this seal; and the exhausting cost for its usage. It is commonly considered a Kinjutsu. The walls can be formed either around the user or anywhere within five meters distance. Allowing for sudden ambushes, and surprise attacks.

I am also confused as to where those wall/barrier techniques come from as you have only specified your clan being able to have animal partners?

The Summoning of the Walls is pretty much just normally summoning something, aka the seal on the ground around the user. More like just unscrolling something but using a seal to store them instead. aka requiring prep work and the like. But I'll fix et up :3

You're going to need to go into A LOT more depth on each of these three abilities. Also, I'm not fond of this clan granting 3 separate and relatively unrelated abilities. Pick either companion, summons or "natural level of skill" which I fail to understand the meaning of. Companions and Summons are treated entirely differently both in the Canon and on the site. You cannot have both, the same way an Inuzuka cannot summon their dog. Please also go into detail about why your clan gets to pick from ANY companion they want. That seems very overpowered in my eyes. Usually clans are focused on one specific area, not a multitude. It would be unfair if a member of this clan could have say, a dog companion or chakra eating insect companions yet not be a part of the corresponding clan. I highly suggest (this usually means you should do it) that you focus this clan around one single species, genus, family, whatever of animal instead of every.

Do remember, all members are already allowed to start with whatever summon contract they want. I don't know what benefit this clan provides in that respect.

This has literally nothing to do with the clan. It's just some sort of Fuuinjutsu. It's also labeled as a space-time technique which MsMoney already mentioned is denied on our site unless it has ungodly strict limitations and virtually no combat purpose.

I just don't.. really understand this at all. You're summoning hunks of stone in the shape of palisades? What does this have to do with your KKG. This would also be a Fuuinjutsu, not a summoning jutsu; as you're unsealing a pre-sealed structure; or rather, activating a fuuin seal which states it summons five to nine (you need to be specific) walls. Either way, it's a fuuinjutsu and unrelated to your clan. I'm also curious how a character in this clan would designate the spawning location of these walls, and what exactly the purpose is (defense, offense?). The jutsu is a little vague in exactly how it does what it does, and also how strong the walls are.
