Clan Name: Murasaki (Violet)

Location: Kumokagure

Signature Traits: Clan males tend to be more aggressive than usual. All clan members aside from albino have a shade of purple hair.

History:
The Murasaki Clan bloodline was once one of the most powerful genetically potent Ninjutsu users in Kumo. Many generations ago, their young would easily learn B and even some A rank jutsu long before it was time. 'Genius' was the word on everyone's lips those centuries ago, whenever a new student from the clan would join the local Ninja Academy. The family had a large house, one the biggest with the obvious exception of the Raikage's building which can easily been seen from far away. Many of the clan took the guard of the village as the family tradition, covering their signature traits will full attire to look just as any other guard.

As with every large family, there was a bad apple, way back then. Konosuke, he was called. Like many of the clan males, patience was not his virtue, and he was green with jealousy. Konosuke, by some fluke of nature, could not use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. It was never discovered the reason for his inability, as skilled and devoted as he seemed to be to learning the techniques. This fact drove him to one day seek out a band of Missing Nin from the Village Hidden in the Mist. Their leader specialized in long-duration or bloodline curses. Fueled by the mistreatment by his lack of skill, he took away their birthright. Being the first one to see the Agreement Seals, the black ink of the cursed markings wrap around the hands and fingers, preventing chakra from reaching the hand seals. Several chakra pressure points also have a triangular black marking over them, preventing use of many traditional jutsu.

Having paid everything he owned as a fine for the deed, the Missing Nin, with the offered blood of Konosuke, sealed the ability to use any sort of offensive Ninjutsu and any kind of Genjutsu. This is known as the Night of Quiet Death to members of the Murasaki. It is known by the name for what Konosuke did next: massacre majority of his extended family within Kumokagure with his powerful life-long practiced Taijutsu. Shocked by their inability to defend themselves with even a simple fireball, the clan's losses were devastating before anyone from the village was able to slay Konosuke in his fury.

The events leading to that horrible night were eventually discovered, though no one specifically was ever held accountable for the mistreatment of the outcast. Much of their wealth was spent rebuilding their estate before what seemed like destiny destroyed their efforts. A year after the home was erected, an accidental fire took it back down.With the total loss of their investment, the prestigious Murasaki family faded into poverty. None of their sons or daughters were called 'Genius' in the academy. Many took to being homeschooled by their shinobi parents since they could not learn majority of anything from the instructors without the ability to perform even the simplest replacement jutsu.

To this day, the clan has never fully recovered from their losses, however. The family is not disliked, but not very well respected as their mainly contribute physical labor to the village. The curse does not seem to apply to Medical jutsu, allowing some of the more naturally skilled members to seek out a profession as a combat medic.

This does not mean that modern clan members have no way to defend themselves. To the contrary, the entire family studies martial arts extensively and trains their bodies to peak conditions. With their entire chakra pool internalized for good, their stamina seems to far outmatch the typical similarly ranked shinobi. Their strength from brutal weight training is commonly underestimated until single blows break the bones of their opponents.

After the curse was implemented, the Murasaki developed their own unique martial art, The Way of the Falling Sky. This style utilizes a combination of the Earth's natural gravity and the speeds reached when terminal velocity is reached with the already brutal striking power of their clan members. Predictable to a fault, the style makes up for it in open devastation of their single targets.

Clan Jutsu:

Unfortunately, because of the way that Way of the Falling Skies is fought, the only thing passed down from mentor to student is training regimine. A variety of martial practices, but no notable jutsu. These are acquired by the individual. Every Murasaki arsenal is as unique as the clan member because they all each create their own library of jutsu (cue the motivated battle theme from Naruto). The clan member starts with no jutsu of any kind and must learn their special Taijutsu techinques through training.

(It's also requested that Murasaki clan members begin RP with 2 C-rank special characteristics due to the single-mindedness of their physical prowess, however if self imposed limits are simply that, it's already understood.)
