Appearance: Nao stands at 5 feet and 9 inches which can be considered the average height in the shinobi world. His physique is borderline muscular, and is the reason he’s won himself admirers. His weight is around 160 pounds, which is the proper weight for someone his height. His physical attributes would be considered intimidating to people who have just recently met him, which Nao likes to consider an useless advantage.
Just by looking at Nao, one could tell that he was a man who liked to properly groom himself, personal hygiene was also of great significance to him. He would openly admit to being a metrosexual, and considered it to be a rather wonderful thing. However, Nao does not consider it to be even slightly feminine, which is arguably correct.
Nao has a rather fair complexion, and it becomes quite obvious to observe that he took good care of his skin as there are absolutely no blemishes he makes visible. Since it is a Kessho clan trait, Nao possesses the same eyes as his father, shiny dark brown. On top of both eyes he has perfectly shaped eyebrows that have an unusual grey shade. Below the right eye, a scar is visible, which is from something he does not remember, and chooses to keep it that way. His hair, which should originally be dark blue, was dyed white as an attempt to be rebellious during his adolescent years. It was due to his rebellious and secretive nature that he decided to go against clan traditions and change the color of his hair, as this would not tip off the enemy of his abilities. His hair was usually rather long, and straight, as he would groom it religiously. His hair is coiffed in such a way that that it has the ability to catch anyone’s eyes.
In his early days, Nao could be seen wearing a dark blue collared robe with a black fishnet shirt, with the symbol of Kessho proudly showing. However, after leaving the village he had decided against it. His apparel now consisted of a black collared jacket, and a casual plain black colored t-shirt underneath. He considers himself to have a great sense of fashion, which according to others is untrue. Nao's apparel constantly changes as his metrosexual nature would not allow him to wear something twice in a row. Thus, he would switch t-shirts and trousers quite often.
Ever since the beginning, Nao had not been interested in anything but combat. This lead to a development of scars all over his body. A medical ninja once revealed that 80% of the back of his body was covered in scar tissue. However, this was something that no one knew. He made sure that the only scar visible was the one below his right eye, and he didn’t want to compromise his comfort in order to hide it. Scars were something he considered should be kept unrevealed, as they are sometimes signs of weakness.
Just like his back, his forehead protector was unusually scarred. The symbol of his former village, Kumogakure could hardly be seen anymore. As far as accessories go, Nao considered them to compromise the the ability of a ninja, one would have to converse with him to realize what that meant. Thus, there were no visible accessories except one, his forehead protector. The only reason he would still keep that is to show that he was indeed a shinobi. One would have to look hard enough to realize it was a Kumogakure headband.

Personality:Similar to his looks, Nao has a mysterious personality. His emotions are not entirely predictable, his wants can differ by the day. As they say, change is constant in nature. Consistency is something that Nao had loved. However that was not the case earlier, change is what Nao had to go through every single moment in life. Change helped him let go of his need for approval, it let him develop his individuality. He had changed from the time he was a child and an adolescent. Initially, this was something that disappointed Nao and made it frustrating for him. So to change that, he learned to embrace the change and allowed it to control his actions and feelings, making it easier to live his shinobi life. However, during this time, the only word which made any sense to him was indifference, as it was also something that can be constant. He felt comfortable knowing it was present. It was something he could rely on to not change. Change is a different kind of constant, thus, it has its exceptions, like almost everything else.
As far as morals and values go, they were not something Nao believed in anymore. He believed that there are many things which influence morals, and it makes a person weaker. Nao was someone who couldn’t afford to become weaker, not with the plan he has for himself, thus he chooses to ignore such “trivial things”, as he likes to call them. People can only take so much before they break, for Nao that point came at the age of 16 when he decided to leave his village after his mother broke his father’s heart by revealing her secret, and after watching his mother be killed with the intention of doing the same. However, as a child, Nao had been emotional, which is completely opposite from indifference, but one couldn’t blame him. He found it hard to make friends who could put up with his need for attention and sympathy. Luckily, having a younger sister had compensated for the lack of friends. Even from that moment, the only thing he focused on was acquiring knowledge. He would often find himself reading instead of playing, eating, or sleeping. As a stubborn child, Nao was typical.
Materialistic, sensitive and unreliable, luckily these characteristics didn’t last in the long run.
Circumstances had changed drastically, and Nao started realizing all that he had thought was important, which is family, wealth, country, friendship did not stand a chance against the evil and power in the modern world. Being familiar with love, compassion, sympathy, etc. is what made the transition extremely difficult, but at the same time, the circumstances made it much easier. He had never been extremely close to his mother, but she was such. And if there was anything that book had taught him, it was that one should respect and listen to one’s parents no matter what. But, that all had changed when he found out that her love for his father and his sister was non-existent. He no longer cared what she had thought about him, and let his own father murder her. However, he didn’t blame his mother for doing such a thing, he blamed the people who pressured into doing what she had done. He wanted to get vengeance for not being able to have a healthy family like the rest of the shinobi.
Nao himself is not aware of what he feels about something before it happens, but what he has to do, after he’s almost certain with. His likes and dislikes are unknown even to him. It is that goal to achieve power and vengeance, which drives him to work hard and stay motivated. His hard working attitude has allowed him to gain experience in combat that is unmatched by shinobi his age. All the nights he spent alone without friends, reading about combat has helped him acquire immense knowledge in the field. It has helped him become better at what he considers to be the true purpose of a shinobi, combat.
Socially, Nao had no experience, he didn’t know how to talk to strangers and make friends. But, he wouldn’t make a fool of himself either. He was patient and calm when it came to conversations. He feels they are the best way to extract information from someone, which he claims to be the only reason as to why he would ever converse with strangers. As a kid, Nao would constantly work for the approval of his peers and elders, but now none of it mattered. His demand for attention had become completely non-existent. He mostly keeps to himself, unless the circumstances require otherwise.
Nao was able to develop patience and stability at a higher level than anyone at his age. Due to his immense knowledge of the shinobi world, he could always be calm under high-pressure situations, and would always remain calm and collected. Due to always being superior from the start, Nao had never felt true fear, and what makes him nervous is that he knows it exists.

Combat Style: Nao has a combat style similar to that of the Nara clan. He uses the power of knowledge to attain an advantage over his enemies. By knowing the weaknesses of most of the bloodlines, and abilities, he considers himself to be immune to confusion. His intelligence combined with what he knows helps him be the strategist that he is. Nao is able to perform better than most under pressure, this is due to being able to resist and deny the importance of emotions. His actions are always calm and collected. The only time that Nao becomes worried is when he isn’t one step ahead of the enemy.
Being born in the Kessho clan, Nao has the ability to crystallize any substance or manipulate any existing crystals. Thus, he prefers long-range battles. He is also an avid genjutsu user, which is another long-range specialty. However, his crystal release abilities helps him defend against short-ranged attacks.
His strong will, determination, and discipline along with the desire to fulfill his objectives gives him the most extreme form of mental power, which lets him fight with all his will. Though he doesn't know it, that fire is what has given him most of his success in combats. Nao believes that impossible tasks do exist, only if they are only for a certain period of time. Thus, he allows himself to believe that he knows when to when to give up.

Description: The ninja innately possesses a high IQ which gives them great practical and analytical prowess. They have vast knowledge in nearly all forms of combat giving them a upper hand when faced with nearly any attack with being able to execute split second counters. With their high IQ the user can determine weak spots in attacks and defenses and can overcome nearly any obstacle. Like the obvious benefits of being very smart, the ninja is well regarded for their great mathematical and thinking abilities.
THE BACKGROUND.
- History:
Nao was born on January 1st, in the village of Kumogakure. He was the heir of Isoya and Kumari Kessho. Nao’s father was a jounin and was a well -known shinobi mainly due to the immense respect he had for his village and the undying love he had for his wife. Almost every genin of the village had aspired to become a shinobi having such unquestioned valour. However, Kumari did not have much of an identity of her own, and that was just how she liked it. She was only known through her husband.
During Nao’s academy years, he was just learning about his new life, and was growing up as any normal shinobi would. A few months before graduating from the academy, his parents had another baby. Nao had now become an elder brother to one Shikani Kessho. At the time, Nao had little concern for her baby sister, she was almost completely non-existent till the night started and he got home. As the academy years progressed, Nao become more and more obsessed with the shinobi world, the number of abilities one could perfect, and the number of clans there were gave a feeling of excitement to the young boy. This curiosity to learn more helped Nao pass the academy easily. Instead of spending his days playing outside with the other kids, Nao would sit with his father and listen to stories of his adventures and experiences. This way, he was able to acquire a lot of knowledge regarding the unusual abilities.
Being promoted to a genin was not of much significance to Nao, this was due to the knowledge he had attained by that time. He knew that becoming a genin was just the stepping stone of his career, and he had a long way to go. During these years, Nao demanded attention, to compensate for not getting it at home. Having a baby sister meant that he was always going to be of second priority, and from almost every book he read, he knew that the second priority was of no use. This need had drove off almost any friends he had made. He was stuck with only his teammates to converse and practice with.
His teammates were unlike the rest of the genin, they had considered Nao to be a friend, but it was not the same for Nao. However, he never let any of that get in the way of his goals. He went on numerous missions, and was even considered the strongest genin of his batch. During this period, Shikani had also passed the academy, and had become a genin. However, the fact that no one could match his level had made him cocky, but it didn’t compromise his ability in anyway, just his impression.
As the new batch of genin had come to light, the chuunin exams were being hosted in Kirigakure. As expected, Nao would go on to be the star of the event, and became the first one to be promoted to chuunin. Things were looking up for him, he was close to attaining the power he had desired since day one. With such power, he wanted to become the leader of his village and make it extraordinary.
However things had changed drastically. The mother that he thought played no important role in the family, had become the reason for the overwhelming evil that would later grow and overtake Nao completely. During the time Kumari and Isoya had met, Kumari was working as a spy of Kirigakure, and was ordered to gather as much intel as she could on the plans of Kumogakure. Kumari had thought the best way to do this would be to marry one of the most reputed jounins of the village, who was one of the trusted advisors of the Raikage. She had later revealed to Isoya, that she hadn’t loved him from the beginning, and that his kids might not even be his own. Her whole life had been a lie, and she wasn’t ashamed of it one bit. The guilt had overcome her and she forced herself into telling Nao’s father the truth, is what she told Isoya. However, she had been instructed to do so, knowing the risks of such a feat, she decided to do . This only angered Isoya, who later went on to murder his wife and flee the village.
Things had changed so quickly that Nao was not given any time to react. He had started realizing that everything his dad held important had ceased to exist in a matter of minutes. He didn’t worry about the children, as he ceased to believe they were his. Isoya would go on to be rewarded for his sacrifice by the Raikage, and would move out of his house.Nao pondered over the selfish nature of his father who had not for a moment stopped to think about Nao or Shikani after learning the truth. This disappointed him.
For the first time in his life, he could not use the knowledge of books to find answers. Confusion had taken over Nao. He was left with no mother, no father. Nao decided to take drastic steps as well, two days later after his mother was murdered, he decided to leave everything, and everyone. He fled the village leaving behind the house where his family once lived happily, and a sister whom he had loved. Nao would then go on to engage in criminal activities, his hatred for his mother, father, and Kirigakure would help him become indifferent to what happens around him.
Currently, Nao is not someone who wants to be found. He finds himself travelling to places that even he didn’t know existed, he trains by himself and continues to grow stronger. The most recent plan that Nao has conjured, is to create a criminal organization. His reasons for this are unknown to the general shinobi world. His reputation has been ruined in his home village, and he’s considered a huge threat, after all he was one of their finest. His popularity in the criminal world is not in an international standard. He is relatively small.

The rain continued to pour down on the village of Kirigakure. Kira liked to think of it as a way the heavens would repent for their mistakes. Their mistakes mainly being: taking the lives of the innocent and leaving the dreadful on the Earth. It would seem that they have finally realized that their decisions will only cause more pain and suffering to others. Thus, they cry. Crying would be a symbol of asking for forgiveness, hoping the people don’t lose their faith in them, hoping they also do not become the ones to start causing pain. But again, this was only the boy’s opinion, he had many more like these, but he never shared for the fear of people talking about him in a negative manner. That was always something he could never learn to let go, at least not yet. The general desire to be liked by everyone was something Kira considered as a weakness.
cold water would keep falling endlessly on to the ground , by this time 3-4 centimeters of rainfall would have accumulated, and the rain was still strong. His shoes would only cover a third of his bare feet, meaning his feet would be going a little numb now from the coldness. Just so he could deal with it, he would bring up his feet and sit on the bench crisscrossed. He hoped that the girl wouldn’t feel comfortable, however the bench was big enough so it shouldn’t be much of a problem. He then takes a quick glance at the girl who would appear to be doing something eccentric. Curiosity would get the best of him, as he would then ask her what she was doing. “What was that?”, he would ask with a genuine look of curiosity that could be read from his tensed face.
Though it didn’t seem like she would answer his question, she would turn to him with a bright soft smile on her face. He listened as the girl would tell him to respect his elders, and that he would need to pay up first. But the truth was, there was no payment, there were probably no drugs. But they both insisted on continuing the topic the same way they had started. He would look away for a moment and stare at the streets next to the park. He followed its path to see it lead to some shops. It was quite obvious that a park would be located at such a place. However, the evidence of life would start to deteriorate as the rain would start falling harder by the second.
“I don’t respect the elders that ask for respect. Especially when they are selling drugs to minors.”, he would say with a serious face. The girl didn’t seem to be much older than the girl, maybe a matter of few years..but he could never be sure. “You can either show me the package, take the money and leave..or I shall find a different vendor.”, he made sure to bite the inside of his cheek to make sure he wouldn’t burst out in laughter. Things would be getting more amusing now.

Placing his/her hands against the dome he/she is able to suck out the chakra from the people trapped inside at a rate of 7CP per post and bring it into his/her own body. At the same time the user will use his/her own chakra to spread throughout the dome, this allows him/her to repair any damage his/her opponents manage to inflict on the inside. The chakra is not evenly spread out though, as the chakra flows away from the user, it becomes more and more weak. Allowing the dome to be broken on the far side if hit by a hard enough force.

Once the opponent is under the effect of the genjutsu, he will notice the formation of two trees to either side of him. After the opponent is completely trapped, the trees start to move in the opposite direction from the user, making the opponent feel as if their body will be ripped in half. This genjutsu is relatively easier to break free from as compared to others, however it is hard to be detected. If the user has made the doton and crystal release abilities, the opponent will be forced to think it is a real technique. The genjutsu lasts for a duration of two posts.

The user must also remain stationary while this genjutsu is taking place, it's typically used to make their opponent fear their power and force them to flee the scene.

| Hey Drake, nice profile. I know we talked on skype about how long things needed to be but at the time I hadn't known you were going to be at B rank (you told me later in the conversation and I forgot to go back over this) but as a B rank shinobi you will need to expand your appearance, personality, and combat style a bit more as you aren't a simple genin, rather you are a chuunin which is a privledged spot. I know you can do it! So far your writing is looking good and I can find no problems with any other part of your application. Expand the sections I listed to 3 to 5 good sized paragraphs and you'll be good. Sorry for the confusion. |
