Appearance: Picture A small animal roughly the size of a large fox with brown and black coloring. Black banding on his face gives him the appearance of a Raccoon by which his species is named after. Inu weights about 13 pounds and is fully grown. He has a thick weather resistant fur that is soft to the touch. Dark brown eyes away seem to hold a mischievous look reflected in them. Around his neck is a thick leather buckle collar. The collar has Inu’s name stitched into it along with a golden bell. The bell has a very unique chime to it that is quite soothing to listen to. He doesn’t walk but seems to trot where ever he goes, and can’t seem to run for long periods of time.

Personality: Inu is inquisitive creature, prone to wondering off to investigate anything that seems to catch the Tanuki’s eye. A quick whistle will bring him to his owners’ side but his fascination often leads him into more trouble than not. When his owner is anger or in trouble, such wanderlust disappears and he becomes extremely loyal. Inu has a calming effect on Ronin, weather it's because they have been together so long or possibly the Tanuki species connection with Shukaku is unclear. If threatened Inu tends to run and hide, most notably behind Ronin, if he is able to get to her. Inu is also a chow hound and will eat anything that looks edible. If someone is in possession of food he normally sits and begs for it before stealing it when someone back is turned. He isn’t an overly intelligent creature but he does understand all basic dog commands but has been known not to follow commands should something catch his interest.
