The Profile But I know, all I know is that the end's beginning Name: Viera Yamanaka Nickname: Vivi Alias: “The Lost Girl” Gender: Female Age: Fourteen Birthday: January 12th Zodiac: Rabbit Apppearance:The first thing to be noticed is that Viera is very small proportioned – she looks more like a doll than a young kunoichi. This petite girl has relatively fair skin and a clear complexion, neither tan nor pale. Her skin remains smooth and soft, seemingly never having been scarred. Viera doesn’t have any markings or piercings. Not even her ears are pierced, which are usually hidden beneath her radiant locks that range from platinum blonde to gold in different lighting. And to compliment these features are her sparkling blue eyes, appearing like shallow pools of light. Despite her rather frail-looking physique, she is actually quite fit and flexible. And although her muscles may not appear as well toned as most in her profession, she should not be underestimated – she is quick on her feet, and has exceptional natural balance in her movement. However, that doesn’t mean she can’t be a bit clumsy here and there.
Her hair is commonly left down, and appears somewhat untamed. Sometimes she even tucks a flower in her hair for an added touch. She normally dresses simple and comfortable, ranging from plain dresses to pieced clothing. Another consistency in her attire are the colors pink, purple, and even blue – which only brings out the color of her eyes even more. Viera may wear sleeves, and sometimes even knee high stockings and hooded jackets depending on the temperature. Her shoes almost always match, but are chosen more for comfort, protection, and ease of maneuverability rather than style. She keeps any useful items she might have in a backpack she sometimes slings over her shoulder, but keeps most of her weapons in a conveniently placed pouch strapped around her upper left thigh.

Personality:If Viera were to be described in one word, it would be “backwards”. Even before the unfortunate events of her past, she had always been quiet and extremely shy. She has always been extremely sensitive when it came to herself and others, and can often times read people like a book. However, she often refrains from sharing her intuitive feelings and thoughts to others. Nonetheless, she’s astonishingly intelligent and wise far beyond her years. She is also considerably mature for her age, but also tends to be naïve and childish at times. Due to the fact that she is abnormally empathetic, she may become easily attached to things and others, often times presenting a longing to make friends with those she just met.
Another thing to be noted is her gentle nature. Although she isn’t really outgoing or talkative, she’s genuinely kind to others and happens to be a very good listener. She also isn’t one for violence, preferring healing over harming people; hence her choice is specializing in medicine. She only fights when she deems necessary, or to defend those she holds dear. Viera would never want to cause anyone pain and feels guilty if she does, likely due to her acute sensitivity to others’ feelings. In hopes that she doesn’t burden others by projecting her own feelings onto them, she often keeps to herself and wears an indifferent expression.
She is almost always calm, though she does get a bit flustered when she becomes the center of attention. If she ever gets really upset or frustrated over something, she has the tendency to cry. Though she doesn't necessarily blubber like an idiot, her eyes do water. This incidentally only makes her feel worse, because she hates crying, as she finds it utterly embarrassing and a sign of weakness. Very rarely will she raise her voice; she always speaks in a light and almost melodic tone. Viera also daydreams a bit, and has the tendency to pause frequently mid-sentence when deep in thought. These traits may make her seem a bit aloof.
As for things that she likes, there are plenty, as she is easily content. However, there are a few things that make her significantly happier than most. First on the list is her love for flowers and herbs. She loves their variety of color, scents, and all around appearance. Viera also likes moderate temperatures and fresh air; therefore she isn’t too fond of extreme heat or cold. One of her favorite things to do is lie in the grass, and watch the clouds in the sky pass overhead. This is when she does most of her thinking and consequentially, daydreaming.
Believe it or not, there are also things she doesn’t like, and some that she particularly hates. She doesn’t mind the rain and in fact finds it refreshing, but she is afraid of especially violent storms. Due to a traumatic event, she is also terrified of fire. In fact, fire often times brings back unwanted memories. Another big fear is being alone, although she herself may not realize it. A few other less prominent fears include utter darkness, losing those she holds close to her heart, and what she doesn't know or can't seem understand.

Viera's style of combat consists of avoiding just that, combat in general. She isn't very violent by nature, so doesn't fight unless necessary. Given her abilities, she's more fitted as providing support, or retrieving valuable information. However, if she does find herself caught up in a battle of sorts, she often relies on mainly evasive maneuvers and attacking her opponent by less direct means. Because she is very intelligent, she can even have amazing problem solving skills if she actually fully applies herself. This may even provide her means of taking her opponent off guard.

However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Name: Shinranshin no Jutsu | Mind Transfer Jutsu Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Description: Mind Transfer Jutsu is a technique used by the members of the Yamanaka clan. This technique allows the user to enter the mind of another person or even an animal. The user transfers their consciousness to the opponent, giving them complete control of the body for the duration. Their original body is left defenseless while this jutsu is active, leaving it susceptible to attack until they return. The mind transfer is quick but moves in a straight direction, and takes a few seconds to return to the user's body if it misses. Should any physical injury befall the victim's body while the mind-link is active, it would cause the user's body to also receive those same injuries. For example, should the victim's arm be detached, the user's arm would be detached as well, leading to the conclusion that, should the victim die, the user would also die. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Kaze Baria no Jutsu - Wind Barrier Technique Rank: C-A Type: Ninjutsu Range: The barrier can only form up to 5m away from the user Element: Fuuton (Wind) Description: The user pushes wind chakra out in front of them from the palms of their hands. They then mold it into a two meter tall, half meter thick wall of wind chakra. Although this technique does not require hand seals, it is a purely defensive technique, therefore takes concentration and the user cannot perform another technique at the same time without disrupting the barrier. Name: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu - Water Clone Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: Suiton (Water) Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state. Name: Suirou no Jutsu - Water Prison Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Suiton (Water) Description: Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby. Chakra Cost: 7 [2]

Name: Oshi Tezawari - Pressure Touch Rank: D Type: Eijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By emitting a pulse of chakra through the finger tips on the patient’s head pressure points, the user is able to relieve the headaches of any person, regardless of cause (stress, migraine, other ailments, alcohol consumption, etc.) The technique can have an offensive use as well, by altering the effects of the pressure exerted. The pressure will cause a severe headache at the target. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Onnetsusei Nami - Thermal Wave Rank: D Type: Eijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The purpose of this technique is to return needed heat to the patient's body. The user sends a chakra wave to the patient’s chest to increase the blood flow, thus increasing the body temperature. The offensive use of this technique would be the heat wave causing the effects of a hot flash on the target. The sensation of heat usually begins in the face or chest, although it may appear elsewhere such as the back of the neck, and it can spread throughout the whole body. The heat can cause the target to feel light headed accompanied by a rapid heartbeat and sweating. The effect can last for 2-3 posts without interference. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Seiryou Nami - Cool Wave Rank: D Type: Eijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The purpose of this technique is to cool down the temperature of an overheated body. The user sends a chakra pulse to the patient’s body, in order to open up the skin pores, pump up blood to the skin and widen the blood vessels nearest to the skin, or increase sweat production at the said area. All these effects cool down the body and make it return to normal temperatures. The offensive use of this technique would be of the similar origins, through contact the pulse emits a wave which cools the body where contacted. This effected area is no more than 40 cm in size and the affected area reacts much like any part of the body when cooled. Initial or brief contact merely cools the area, numbing it slightly to pain and reducing its speed of movement by 10%(in the case of limbs). If contact is maintained for more than one post, the limb or affected area will be further numbed and become slightly more brittle, making bones easier to break. The effects last for 2 posts after contact is broken. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Shindan Shuhou - Diagnosis Technique Rank: C Type: Eijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: After performing the needed handseals, the user releases a pulse of chakra through the patient’s body. The pulse then returns through their chakra network back into the user’s palms, giving them a mental image of where the chakra network seems to be flaring or lowering. This can give the user a better idea of the location and injury type that has been inflicted. For use in offense, this technique is capable to present a map of the opponent’s chakra network on contact which can be used to determine chakra natures and levels. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Kisoku Kuchidashi - Airway Interference Rank: C Type: Eijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user will focus chakra to their hands and release it to either the throat, in order to loosen the air ways, or the chest, in order to help the lungs expand. This will help the user or the patient breathe easier. A bastardized use of this technique causes the airways to constrict making it much harder for the target to breath. This technique lasts one post without continuous contact. Chakra Cost: 4 [3]
Name: Shousen no Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique Rank: C-A Type: Eijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Shousen no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands. If the higher the medical ninja's rank is the quicker they are able to heal more critical and serious injuries. Injuries of equal rank may be healed in 1 post, and completely restored in 2. If choosing to heal a wound higher than the rank of the Shousen used, it requires 2 extra posts per rank. Thus C-rank Shousen healing an A-rank wound would require 5 posts to fully heal, while a B-rank wound would require 3 posts for instance. If healing a lower-ranked wound with a higher-ranked Shousen, the wound is fully healed in one post as opposed to two. Chakra Cost: C- 6 [2], B- 8 [4], A- 12 [6]
The Past All is lost, hope remains - and this war's not over - Lost Childhood Arc:
Airi Yamanaka, a rebellious young kunoichi, ran away with her beloved Kaito Uzumaki to the Wave Country, ignoring her parents' wishes. They were determined to start a life of their own, without their parents' constant bantering. And so they settled down in a remote village, and nine months later, Airi gave birth to a baby girl. In hopes of giving her a normal life, they decide to raise her in the small, peaceful village, away from the shinobi world. They named her Viera, meaning 'faith', in hopes that no matter the obstacles, she'd never lose faith in herself.
Neither of them were prepared to take care of a child, but even as an infant, Viera was surprisingly easy to handle. She was a happy baby who giggled more than she cried, and never fussed during nap time. The only thing that worried her parents were her curiosity and clumsiness. Other than that, for the most part she was very low maintenance and easily content. She developed like every other child and began walking and talking by the age of two.
Upon turning five, her mother insisted that she attend the local school to not only learn, but make friends with other children her age. She not only excelled at learning, but was adored by many of the villagers for her positive attitude and overall friendly personality. When she wasn't playing with other kids, she found herself aiding her mother and father, and even some villagers with simple chores.
At the age of nine was when she realized her love for nature. Her father had recently cultivated a small patch of land where her mother planted some peculiar seeds. To Viera's surprise, trees and flowers began to sprout over time and eventually grew into a bright and plentiful garden. She found herself captivated by the natural beauty, and sought to learn how to nurture seeds into such miracles of life, just as her mother did. It wasn't long before she discovered her green thumb.
Some years later, the village they were settled in was attacked and burned to the ground when they refused to ally themselves with criminal shinobi who intended on proclaiming war against their allies, the Fire Country. Kaito manages to protect Airi and Viera at the price of his life, only giving just enough time for the two to run away from the tragic demise of the only home the young Viera knew.
She and her mother fled to another village just off the shores of the great island that was the Water Country. They managed to take refuge there for a few months, but Airi knew they weren't safe as long as they stayed in the Water Country among strangers. In an attempt to escape ever-looming conflict and finally return to her parents in Konoha, Airi decides to sneak Viera and herself on a boat headed for the Fire Country. Unfortunately, before the boat can reach the shores of safety, it is overturned and defeated by a violent storm...
- New Life & Academy Arc:
Viera is alone and shipwrecked on the coast of the Fire Country when she is found unconscious by a rescue team from Konoha, whom tend to her on their way to taking her to their village's hospital. She spends weeks in a comatose state while her body recovers from the extensive emotional and physical trauma her body had endured. When she finally awakens, she finds that she is suffering from amnesia and has lost her ability to speak. Her childhood prior to waking up in a hospital bed is a blur - the only thing she remembers is her name.
Upon recovering she retains her ability to speak and shares her name with her caretakers, and so the Yamanaka clansman of Konoha felt obligated to take her in. The eleven year old Viera is soon adopted by an elderly couple by the names of Haruko and Daisuke Yamanaka. (Neither realizes that in reality she is actually their granddaughter. Because her mother had ran away, and in the process cut all ties to her parents, neither knew the other existed.)
As months passed and she still failed to regain her lost memories, Viera decides to make new ones. Being the outsider she was, it was difficult making friends, especially when children at the Academy often referred to her as “The Lost Girl” rather than by name. But with her bright personality, it wasn't long until the people of the village began to warm up to her. Even so, she still longed to make friends with more people - people that weren't her age, people from different places. In the back of her mind, she desperately hoped that in meeting more people she might find clues to who she really was, and whoever her parents might be...
- Genin Arc:
To give back to the people who had saved her life, the thirteen year old Viera decided to pursue the life of a medical ninja and volunteer a great deal of her time to the village hospital. In the process of learning the basics of the ninja life and how to become a well-trained field medic, her will to protect her fellow shinobi was quickly acknowledged. Soon enough she became a recognized kunoichi of the Leaf - she graduated the Ninja Academy and was given a headband to further identify her affiliation to Konohagakure no Sato. Her parents would have been proud, even if it wasn't the life they had chosen for her. If only she knew that.
Without realizing her own talents, she further trains in both Ninjutsu and Eijutsu with ease. It becomes apparent to her peers that she has outstanding chakra control, and she is soon after referred to as a medical prodigy. She might not agree with their speculations, but she still continues to further expand her knowledge in the medical field and hopefully travel the world someday. And maybe she'll even discover scattered pieces to regaining memories of her past...

As soon as the sun rose, peeking through her window, and shedding some light in her dim room, the setting seemed to take on new colors and shades. It wasn't long before the rays reached her closed eyes, forcing her to open them. She sat up, like every morning, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It was always the same - staying up late, and sleeping in. However, this time she seemed to have woken a little earlier than usual, and for this she wondered why. As she got out of bed, and made for the kitchen to prepare herself a healthy breakfast, she slowly came to realization of her change of sleeping habits. Summer was approaching - beautiful, warm summer. The season always seemed to bring pleasant weather, and with it, appealing scenery all around. With spring coming to an end, all the flowers were in full bloom, and at their most lively. She could already imagine the sites outside her front door, just begging for her to take a step into this world of vibrant color. The thought alone made her shiver in excitement, the beauty she would behold on this fair day. So she lightheartedly finished a small breakfast, and ran to her room for a change of attire.
With the new season, came a change of wardrobe. She would be wearing lighter colors now, to keep from getting too hot, and to compliment her environment so that she might blend right in. Today she wore a light purple, short sleeved hood over a white tank top, with jean shorts, and open toed shoes. Lilium was already welcoming the fine weather, and couldn’t wait to actually go out and enjoy it herself. Before she made way to the door, she made sure to grab her backpack full of art supplies, and useful, or otherwise fundamental items. She was completely prepared for whatever the world might throw at her on this bright day. As she successfully made sure all she needed was where she wanted, she walked back down the hallway, to the main entrance of her house, and exited through the front door, locking it behind her. She knew her parents were likely out enjoying the favorable weather, seeing as she hadn’t seen them yet this morning. So to make sure all was intact, she secured the door as she left – a daily procedure, and practically part of her routine by now.
Her footsteps were muffled with the crowd, as she made her way through the busy streets of Konohagakure no Sato. She didn’t exactly have a destination in mind, but was looking for somewhere quieter; more tranquil. Possible scenarios ran through her mind, as she tried to think of a pleasant place to spend her day. The park was likely full of noisy children, eager to play, and enjoy the sun. She could already tell the marketplace was packed, as that’s where most of the traffic was headed, probably anticipating the arrival of imported exotic foods. With it being such a nice day, there was no doubt in her mind that the majority of the village ninja were at the training grounds, if not on a mission. At last, the perfect place to come to mind was Hokage Mountain. Not many people climbed the earthen monument, and most certainly not for leisurely reasons. It was likely to be the least busy place of all in the lively village. And with that thought, she made haste for her destination.
Even after having been stuck in the house on the rainiest of days, attending to housework, she still managed to keep in shape. Climbing the stairs was still no obstacle for this kunoichi, and she made it to the top in what seemed like no time at all. As she did, she proudly stood over the railing, looking down upon the village with a smile. Everything seemed so much more peaceful from here. Lilium pulled herself over the railing, sitting on the very edge of the cliff just below. She hugged her knees a moment, and with a content sigh, then pulled out her sketchbook and pencil from her backpack. While the rest of the world was busy with the days’ chores, she sat, drawing the image before her radiant, emerald eyes…

| Your application is looking really good!
There are just three things I wanted to mention;
- You are missing the headband section of the template, and also are missing your FC.

Water doesn't really amplify sounds except for things that happen -in- the water (like when you are in a bathtub and you can't really hear anything that's being said to you when someone is standing next to the bathtub, but you can clearly hear the echoing sounds if you tap on the bathtub in the water). But if you would maybe explain better to me how this works, like you said the water takes the shape of an amplifier? Can I get more details on this?
- In your history you never state that she joins the academy, and thus she wouldn't really be graduated as a Genin.

| Where her headband is located is specified in her appearance. As for a Face Claim, I don't have one - my images were edited by me, so as long as they don't use my exact images, which I don't think anyone in their right mind would do, I have no intentions of putting claims on the original images. As for the water technique, I borrowed it from a friend with his permission. Considering what you brought to my attention, the technique itself doesn't make much sense. I'll simply remove it. And she did graduate from the Academy, I simply stated in indirectly. I'll further elaborate on her graduation to avoid confusion though.

| - I was under the impression that you shouldn't mess with the original template, even if it got prettified. =O So the part with the headband should stay where it was, I'd think.
- And we still need you do to the FC thing, just say it's your work/that the original is edited and link us to the image you use where it is uploaded so we can make your FC in the list.
