Appearance: Rika has long brown hair. She keeps it in a long ponytail so it doesn't get in the way. Her hair is extremely thick and beautiful. She has two dazzling blue eyes that could be compared to an ocean blue. Her breast size is about average. She keeps herself in top form so she has a bit more muscle than the average girl and has a flat stomach with a hint of muscle if you look hard. Her hips are rather wide for her age but are a proud statement in her clan. For it would be easy to assume she could produce a child sometime in the future. This could keep the clan going and thus is thought to be a great trait on a Asuha female.
She is a woman and has worked hard on her body so she tends to show it off. She wears hip hugging jeans and tight belly shirts that show off her flat stomach. It's pretty normal for ninja females to wear revealing clothing but Rika tends to keep it modest enough to leave to the imagination. She likes to wear necklaces and arm bands to keep a stylish look about her. She's about 5'1 and about 120 lbs. Her clothing however, varies on the occasion. She also has a tattoo of a bird with chains falling off it's wings, as if it were flying away from it's chains, on her right side below her breast and above her hip.
She can usually be seen with a slight smirk on her face. Her sword is attached to her waist and she carries a headset around her neck. However, it's not like any normal headset. It's rather thin and despite looking like a normal headset, it is in actuality a set of earplugs. She uses the disguise so that she can seem like she is listening to music when she is in a fight when in reality she is preparing for a certain technique... She can normally be seen with her "headphones" on in a fight with her signature smirk on her lips. This punk like attitude can really piss off her opponents and she loves doing it.
The female usually wears her ninja gear but can be seen around her village without it. She likes to wear dresses but her favorite is to wear her kimono around town. It's very long and a dark pink color. The obi is a softer Sakura Petal colored pink and the trim is of the same color. The designs are a silver and are of sakura petals. When she wears this she tends to put a small sakura barette in her hair to hold it back from her face. She then wears high sandals with her kimono to finish off the outfit. She usually wears eye makeup such as bronze eyeshadow and black eyeliner. She will also wear mascara and some slight blush to make her not seem as pale.

Forehead Protector: She wears her Kirigakure headband around her waist like a belt. The material tends to make her itch when it's touching the delicate skin on her forehead or neck.
Personality: Rika is mischievous and loves to do anything she pleases. She's a pleasure seeker and is hedonistic. She does what she wants when she wants. There are very few whom she will take orders from and even fewer whom she respects. The easiest way to impress her is to show skill, dedication, and strength. Friendship wins over family in her opinion, due to her past. Friendship is something to be earned while anyone such as a rapist or murderer could be your family member.
She used to be rather sisterly when she was younger. Due to her not liking bullies she was always like an older sister to her dear friend Okugi. They both gained something from this relationship. Rika felt like she was truly needed while Okugi had someone to rely on and protect him in times of need. She would wipe his face off if he got dirty, give him piggy back rides, etc. Most villagers really did think they were related when they saw them together. However, as both children matured Rika began to realize that Okugi could fend for himself.
He began to stick up for himself and others. She would pretend not to see this type of behavior but when a rather obnoxious and annoying ninja decided to pick on a very small academy student Okugi pushed Rika behind him and defended the other student himself. From there on she had more respect for the boy and in fact their friendship deepened. She no longer doted on him and gave him more space. She and Okugi would have discussions about the world and how they would change it if they could.
Around this time was when she began to become more interested in the male species. She still only saw Okugi as a sibling but that didn't stop her from chasing after the boys in school. This is normal for a tween girl. Her eyes sought the handsomest boy in her class. He was a Hyuuga and popular with all the ladies of the classroom. Rika was easily captured by his pearlescent eyes. She would do everything she could to win his favor. She began to wear makeup, began to act more self confident, and began to be more feminine around him. Her breasts had grown faster than most females in her class and this was what attracted the Hyuuga boy to her. Her personality was still that of a young girl. She was less sisterly and mature and more feminine and eager to please.
She was easily manipulated by the older boy and lost her virginity at an early age because of it. From that point on Rika vowed to never let herself be the one seduced, instead she'd be the seductress. That day onward she seemed more experienced and more mature in a way than other girls. She began to be more flirtatious and despite toying with the opposite gender she wasn't that interested in finding a boyfriend. Because she lost her innocence so fast she began to take life slower, to enjoy the little things more. She wanted to try everything once and knew that once something was lost you could never get it back.
She vowed to enjoy her life and as she matured began to learn what it meant to be a ninja. She took being a kunoichi more seriously and because of her loss of innocence early on she could see things as they were instead of what most girls see through a rose colored lens. Once she graduated she found something she really wanted to live for. Her friends. She wanted to live for her friends and protect her village. She may not act like it but she still reads shojo manga and secretly wishes to find that special person. However, it will be hard for she has trust issues.

Combat Style: She likes her enemies to believe that she's hot headed and attacks before thinking. However, she tries to carefully plan her moves so she can surprise her enemy. She likes to be up close when fighting and likes her opponents to do the same, because her clan techniques are perfect when fighting against a taijutsu user. However, when the games turn to Ninjutsu or Genjutsu she pulls back and tries to keep distance between her and her opponent until the perfect moment to strike. She'll do all she can to make the opponent attack her. She will look for any weaknesses she can and sometimes she'll even create some. She tends to like creating weaknesses in her opponents five senses. She likes to take away sound and sight mostly. Without those two senses most ninja are very weak. She also uses her superior strength to her advantage. Like most ninja she has been taught the basics of defending herself without a weapon but her strength really surprises most when she finally has to use it. She uses ninjutsu mainly but also uses her weaponry. With her clan's abilities her strikes are harder than most. She may look fragile but she surprises her enemies by her vast strength and speed. Her battoujutsu allows her to have fast hands. She has prepared herself against Uchiha and other genjutsu users as best as a genin can. She likes to be prepared and you can see that with her arsenal. Above all she likes to catch her enemy by surprise.

Description: The first level in the art of speed accessible to those who have undergone intense training in high speed movement. The possessor of this talent has an increased speed of 20% which makes them slightly faster. They can cross distances quicker than others would expect and outrun others with little effort.
THE BACKGROUND.
History: Rika was born to the Asuha clan. Her mother had run away from an arranged marriage. She met a low ranked ninja from kirigakure who brought her home with him. She took on a new identity and eventually became the mans wife. She soon gave birth to one child, a baby girl whom she named Rika. The child was raised as a normal ninja but was given secret training by her mother about her clan techniques. Rika worked extremely hard to make her mother proud of her.
On her tenth birthday Rikas mother passed away from cancer. Rika was left with her father. The young woman was picked on when she first joined the academy. However, she quickly put this to a stop when she showed the other students her clan Jutsu by picking up a large boulder that someone their age couldn't possibly do. The downside to this was that the whole village found out about her heritage. Rika was taken to the mizukage at the time and was given a choice. She could use her Jutsu to protect the village and have a home there or be handed over to her clan. Rika took the former choice and continued on with her ninja training.
During the academy she met two people whom to this day are now her friends. Taizen and Okugi were very different people. Okugi was her first friend. She met him when he was first being picked on. She felt for the boy, she had dealt with the abuse before and had a soft spot for him. She then urged him to stand up for himself, even a few times went so far as to do I herself. She began to act like an older and VERY protective sister to him. It helped with the bullying for a while but Rika soon realized she was holding him back. It took her a long time at the academy to realize this fact. The boy had grown into the beginnings of a man in front of her. She reluctantly stepped down with her protectiveness. This had helped him grow even more so than before.
Taizen was a different story. She met him later on during her academy years. He was a rather quiet boy and Rika hadn't paid much attention to him. That is until the fellow kunoichi in their classroom began to pair them together as the "silver haired" couple. They were cute together, at least that was what the females of the class thought. Rika would sniff indignantly every time they brought it up. The boy was cute, but he was too quiet for her tastes. Eventually, she decided to speak to the boy. He surprised her by holding a conversation and being rather intelligent. She liked that he hated bullying as much as she did, and thus their friendship was born. They have been friends since.
Rika has now been working on becoming a better kunoichi that can protect her village and her loved ones. She wants to experience more of everything and thus wants to go on missions and find a mentor whom she can learn from. However, lately she has been wondering if the village is really what it seems. Sometimes it seems like she can't be free to practice jutsu the way she wants with the government watching her. She could just be paranoid and itching to be outside the gates but then again...

Keira stood on the beach looking out over the ocean. The waves lapped against the shore getting closer and closer to Keira's shoes with each wave. She was tired and her eyes burned from crying for so long earlier that day. The rose haired girl had spent all day walking from beach to beach looking for any way off the island. Once she realized that there was no way off she began to cry.
Keira had never cried in front of anyone before, at least not for many years. She wasn't really a cry baby but who would be able to hold it in once you realized you were basically sentenced to death on an island inhabited by dinosaurs and other such beasts? She'd been like this for almost an hour and now was the time to calm down and think rationally.
She wiped her eyes and looked around at the beach. "First thing's first, I really need to find shelter or make some. I can't just sleep on the beach." The pink haired girl began to walk towards the forest edge and grabbed as many sturdy sticks as she could find. The girl began to dig a hole into the sand as she worked on a shelter. It would shelter her from most animals that searched the beach for scraps. It was only temporary though. It would easily be washed away with the rain.
She worked until the sun began to set. That was when she heard a growling sound behind her, coming from the ocean shallows. She turned slowly dreading what she would see. A large brownish grey beast with flippers was staring at her like a killer whale would stare at a fat seal. It looked like a sea faring crocodile from the jurassic period! The teeth even had bits and pieces of meat sticking out from them.
The beast stared Keira down, damn her pink hair, she was sure that was what gave her away. This animal was looking for a meal and it had decided on Keira. She bolted for the treeline nearby but slipped on a large rock buried in the sand. She fell into the ground but quickly tried to pick herself up. This was all the beast needed to gain ground on her. It was almost at her heels. She had no idea if she could outrun it now that she'd given it time to get closer to her! "Help!" she screamed loudly as she picked herself up off the sand. It was the only thing she could do other than run. She hoped someone would come to help.

Any weapon attacks thrown by the mist clones will, although appearing real, only disperse into mist upon contact with their target; posing no physical threat. However, because they constantly reform, they are near impossible to get rid of, and offer a constant confusion factor.

Description: Battoujutsu is the art of drawing sword. It uses a speed draw technique to bring the sword from it’s sheath quickly in a strike. Normal eyes can’t follow it, those who have been trained in similar weaponry may be able to follow the strikes. Doujutsu like the sharingan can follow depending on the sharingan user though at most times they can't react fast enough unless the opponent is highly skilled. The user after drawing the sword will resheathe it or leave the blade out to block oncoming attacks. Battoujutsu is mainly an offensive style.

Description: This is opposite of the battou. It’s where you sheathe your sword quickly creating a high pitched sound. This sound can make the person unable to hear well for two posts. Though the user must have ear plugs in their ears or else it will make them hard of hearing for that long as well. Rika has a special set of earplugs just for this technique. Which is why she can use it so well. The guard of the sword hits the sheath. Hana's sheath has a metal lining on the inside. Making it tough. The guard is also metal which makes both hitting together a loud sound. This technique ONLY gives someone hearing loss.

The user is able to manipulate the pull of gravity on their body to either reduce or increase their weight on either their entire body or on selected parts. By lightening their body, they are able to move faster and leap farther, however they also are knocked back further by attacks and their own attacks are weaker. By increasing their weight, they sacrifice movement speed for power. A simple punch can feel like being whacked with a bat, or even crush stone. However, missing, or even striking can have consequences such as too much momentum causing the user to lose their balance or striking a very hard surface and cause damage to the user.

The user is able to manipulate pull of gravity on an inanimate object to either increase or decrease its weight. - I want to ask you to add more into appearance and personality. Your appearance is only about 264 words, and that would be like a single paragraph. We usually ask for at least two paragraphs in appearance and personality.

The way you word this technique makes little sense to me. "The user can send chakra to whichever body part touches the bird, and use it to ride and fly" < - huh?
Also, water is really heavy and this bird has to be pretty big for your char to be able to ride it... so I'm just wondering exactly how it can fly without it being a tremendous task for both the water creature and the user who has to pour chakra into it.
(You also don't mention the size of the bird)

I want this to be reworded a bit, and each thing you mention in here should be made into a technique.
- I want you to take out the 'godspeed' part, as frankly that's a no no and sounds super OP.
- Edit it so that normal eyes can't follow, but those who have received training in weaponry for an example will be able to note what is going on. Doujutsu users should be able to see the move, but it depends on their skills not ranks if they can react or not.
I want her to take 'godspeed' out of that description, and say that normal eyes can't follow unless they have also received the same training in regards to weaponry, a doujutsu user should be able to see and follow even at the same rank I think

You can't reflect genjutsu, and you have to have a special SC to be able to infuse chakra into items/weapons, or the item / weapon needs to be B rank to have any special ability.

| Took out the water bird technique, because you're absolutely right, it should be more draining on your chakra.
I changed up battoujutsu but it is a sword style and not exactly just one technique. The way you sheathe the sword is considered a technique.
Kami Chisoku Shi-Su already pretty much states that it makes it hard to hear. lol
"This is opposite of the battou. It’s where you sheathe your sword quickly creating a high pitched sound. This sound can make the person unable to hear well for two posts."
Took out the sword block technique.
Oops, I took out the old genin kit and replaced it with the canon one. It was located in my old app so I didn't think about checking to see if there was an updated one.
Took out the sunglasses as well. |
