Fionnaidh Clan Vide
PostSubject: Fionnaidh Clan Fionnaidh Clan EmptyTue 09 Apr 2013, 12:58 am

Clan Name: Fionnaidh

Location: Konohagakure

Signature Traits: The only noticeable physical traits are the vulpine ears and tail. This gives clan members advanced hearing. Another trait that most clan members share is that they all have some artistic ability, usually wood working or blacksmithing. They tend to enjoy the company of others and most members have a love of telling stories.

Kekkei Genkai:
The Nature's Tongue: All members of the Fionnaidh Clan have the ability to communicate with animals (however, they cannot control them). This means members can receive information about enemy positions, the local terrain, etc.

Feral Rage: Members fall into a rage, with their faces becoming more fox-like, and their fingernails growing into claws. They are immune to most genjutsu in this state, due to hightened senses. The only drawback to this state is the fact that the user will attack anyone in the area for the duration of the Rage (usually about 10-15 minutes).

History:
The Fionnaidh Clan came to Konohagakure following the First Shinobi World War. Although the Clan has origins much further south, they consider The Fire Country to be their home. Soon after they arrived in Konohagakure, they were much sought after for their metal working skills. However, the clan elders refused to supply weapons for the village, as it went against their pacifist beliefs. Years later, when the Second Shinobi War broke out, the Fionnaidh, with new leadership, agreed to help supply weapons for the Fire Country, on the condition that not one member of the clan would be forced to fight. Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, agreed to the terms, but as the war went on, the clan's more adventurous members decided to join the fight, much to the dismay of the elders.

Soon after the end of the Second Shinobi World War, the Fionnaidh Clan tried to return to its pacifist ways of previous years, which, in part, it had, as they no longer made weapons of war, but that didn't stop the younger generations from joining the ranks of Konohagakure's Shinobi. The clan elders, with the former elders now replaced by veterans of the Second War, although worried about the younger generation, allowed this, partly due to the Clan's belief of contributing to the community in any way they can, and that they felt it would be best to improve relations with the new Hokage, Hizuren Sarutobi.

During the time between the Second and Third Shinobi World Wars, the Fionnaidh clan was as prosperous as ever, with everyone pulling their fair share of work, be it as Shinobi, blacksmith, or carpenter. However, even with this period of prosperity, several clan members felt that the clan had strayed from its original path, and sought to correct it, though any means they could. For a while, nobody within the clan minded. After a few years, this group of individuals, now calling themselves the True Fionnaidh, began to amass a size-able following within the clan. For a while, there were only tensions between the two groups, those who wanted to integrate more into Konohagakure's society, and the True Fionnaidh, who wanted to restore the old ways of peace and seclusion. The tensions continued to grow, until, one day, a fight broke out between two Fionnaidh members, each belonging to the opposite faction, over a simple pot of tea. Regardless of the cause, the fight soon escalated, with more clan members joining, and soon, the fighting took to the streets, with even the Shinobi of the clan joining in. After a good ten minutes, other Shinobi, and the Konohagakure police showed up to break up the fighting. This, however was only the beginning.

Soon, petty fights and crimes committed by members of either faction became common. Soon, the Hokage decided enough was enough, and decided to end the conflict once and for all. He sent ANBU agents to drive out the True Fionnaidh, who then fled to the Land of Wind. The order came just in time for the Third Shinobi World War.

This war, dirung which The Three Legendary Sannin would gain their fame, as well as Minato Namikaze, the future Fourth Hokage. With most of the clan's members having joined the war effort, mostly as Shinobi, the clan began to decline as result. By the end of the war, the clan almost didn't exist, most of the members either having died in the war, or having left the village out of fear.

However, after the attack by the Nine-tails shortly after, despite the heavy damage, the clan began to rebuild.

You're completely aware that we DO NOT follow the manga plotline about Tobirama Senju and the Nine-tails, as examples, correct?
