Clan Name: [Kyattsu]{Cats}

Location: Scattered, originally Konoha

Signature Traits:
Beastly Physical Properties. The Kyattsuai all share physical qualities with their specific type of cat. Whether it be lion, leopard, or commong house cat. The type of animal is determined by the dominant gene from their parents. For unknown reasons, and despite years of thinning out the clan's blood, intermarriage with other clans has shown that the Kyattsuai clan is extremely dominant. Especially in male parents and male children. Common physical traits that are inherited include fangs, fast-growing and naturally pointed nails, slim and finely muscled bodies with long legs and arms, and the clan symbol located on the back of the neck that possibly knocks them unconscious when hit if 75% or more of their body is transformed into their beastly form.

Cat-like Behavior. Once again, this is mainly determined by the specific breed of cat. Common qualities that stand out are social behaviors. Lions, for example, are strongly social animals and crave the attention and strong family connections in a sort pack setting. Leopards are mainly solitary creatures, as are most other cats like common househeld types and bobcats, though may stay permanently with a chosen mating partner. The Kyattsuai show strong animalistic qualities and tend to be quiet, yet quickly angered or provoked, individuals. Shows of their cat-like nature vary in form from their facial expressions to their relaxed yet unnaturally fluid movements that seem as if they have control over muscles regular people forgot they had. Children have been known to hiss and growl in their immature years, yet have a faster rate of maturity; About the ages of 10-13 years of age for both girls and boys. 13 would be the equivilant of 18 for average humans, though exceptions occur as with all beings in the world. Everyone is slightly different.

Kekkei Genkai:
[Neko no hen'yo]{Transformation of the Cat}
Essentially, Neko no hen'yo is the ability to transform parts of the body or it's entirety into the breed or 'flavor' of the individual. This is done by using a unique series of blue print like codes hardwired into their chakra that forces it to deconstruct and then reconstruct the body into the predetermined shape. As all the 'blue prints' are unseeable by the naked eye or recognized by the conscious living, it is impossible for either the user or another person to change their flavor of cat. The body parts appearance, size, lethality, and use may vary from person to person all only play a major part in the ultimate end process; 100% transformation. This is essentially reshaping the body using the materials it already has and hardening the chakra in their body outside their skin in a fashion to form their cat. It's common sense that a male lion would be bigger then a house cat, or a cheetah faster then a bobcat. Specific modifications to jutsu must be made by the users to fit their cat type.

The 4 different stages are rated by percentage; 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% transformed. Each would be a different jutsu unhindered by specific body part jutsu, and would cost more chakra then normal even at a lower level to maintain all the body parts at once. 25% is essentially retractable claws in their hands, longer and more lethal fangs, and enhanced speed and vision to an extend. 50% includes larger enhancements in movement speed, stregnth, and a closer tie to their inner beast's mentality. This means that they are less stable, and more easily provoked then normal into close combat situations. 75% includes a loss of speech, lengthening of claws and their capabilities depending on the jutsu's rank, increase speed and stregnth, and the ability for the clan mark on the back of their neck to render them possibly unconscious if struck very precisely. 100% transformation status forces the body to be pushed to it's absolute limit, forcing the chakra out and into a physical form that solidifies into a cat-shaped armor around their body. They are still able to move freely, and depending on the rank of the transformation determines what weapons and jutsu can break through it. Hitting the clan mark on the back of their neck will render them unconscious, but the opponent must get through the armor first.

History:
It is unknown how the creation of the Kyattsu came around, it is just known that they started writing down their history long ago when they were just a scruffy bunch living in Konohagakure's outskirts. A man by the name of Taisetsu Kyattsu was the first clan leader, and he seperated the different breeds of cat out and labeled them by their best qualities. The leopards with their assassin like skills, the cheetahs and their speed, the lions like himself who were strongest, the house-cat types who were mainly woman and were valued for their tactical skills, and the lynx for their mastery of stealth and aversion. There were other breeds of cat, but they were essentially outcasted for their uselessness in the eyes of the others. This created an internal seperation between them, and eventually led to the first official splitting of the clan.

The first split was more of a civil war then anything. Taisetsu's great-grandson attempted to eradicate the lesser cats who had by now become greater in number as they were the sort of commoners of their kind and were not forced into fighting for their clan or village. Their numbers had a devastating effect in the battle until both parties beat the other into a treaty that led to them going their seperate ways. It was written that if the warring factions should ever meet again, an honor bound battle to the death should ensue immediately. This gave them and future generations the insentive to relocate as far away as possible. With both sides numbers greatly diminished, they seperated for the first of the two times this would happen.

Many years passed before another internal conflict turned to a civil war. The cheetahs, who over the years had grown jealous of being cast down into the lion's shadows, tried to overthrow the great beasts who were fewer in numbers. The power of the lions beat the cheetahs back in to submission for a short time before they declared their independance and took many of the remaining species with them. With their crumbling way of life and their numbers growing ever fewer, many other groups splintered off away from their own species group and move to other villages or entire countries. Little is commonly known to any single village as the children don't usually tap into their transformation abilities without being taught, though exceptions do occur.

NOTE- ALL CLAN JUTSU DEPEND ON THE PERSON CREATING THE CHARACTER TO CUSTOMIZE. BASIC GUIDELINES ARE ABOVE THAT TELL WHAT JUTSU ARE REQUIRED TO BE MADE TO BE USED. This includes the 4 stages as seperate jutsu with appropriate rankings and such. Each person will usually have a different species of cat, so their jutsu will each be a little different. This is to shape the combat styles and applications of each to the user's preference. Once someone accepts being part of this clan, it's in the admin's and mod's hands to decide if that person's jutsu fits site rules. I'm not responsible for OPness and abuse of my basic guidelines as they are OPTIONAL unless someone wants to use the KKG. No copy-pasta happening here. I want to enforce creativity.
