Description: By charging a good deal of wind chakra into his abdomen, Kūki infuses the nozzles running along the lower half of his body with power. This chakra causes the nozzles to spray a strong blast of pressurized wind, which propels the wasp through the air at truly amazing speeds. Upon activating this jutsu the wasp receives a 50% increase to its flying speed and flight agility. Blasting so fast has a detrimental effect on his combat ability, making of biting, grabbing and stinging all very difficult. Because of this, Kūki is incapable of attacking while Riding the Wind.

Description: Kūki charges his wings with wind chakra, and then begins to buzz them much faster. This technique only works if the wasp is stationary, and causes the wings to generate great amounts of wind blowing away from the wasp in all directions. The wind is short ranged but places Kūki at the center of sphere of compressed turbulence which deflects incoming projectiles before they can strike him. This will effectively neutralize all small projectiles coming at him, while rendering him still, hovering in place.

Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures.

Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread.

Description: Often times a wasp will have a landing which is less than ideal, often plummeting from the sky at high speeds, or slamming into walls and windows for no apparent reason. While the wasp’s naturally hard shell helps protect their bodies from such impacts, this jutsu allows Kuku to take the protection a little further. By infusing his chitin with chakra he hardens it just a little bit more, enabling him to come out of almost any crash with little to no bodily injury. Of course, such an impact still wreaks havoc on the bug’s small brain, leaving him dazed and mostly useless for the next post.
