Physical Appearance
Members of the Uchiha Clan possess black hair which they commonly wear in either long or short spikes. They all seem to have slanted eyelids and deep set eyes, making them appear naturally more sinister even without their 'Sharingan'. Being a clan of exceptional ninja, the members of the clan have very lean and muscular bodies. Although the clan does not contain a traditional set clothing, many members tend to favor black garments with the Uchiha Clan's symbol on their back. This may be a birth of a trend in the clan.

The Uchiha's Flame
All Uchiha Clan members are born with the natural affinity to the katon element, so much that it is even integrated into some of their traditions. Since adolescents the members are trained by their superiors to perform katon techniques at utmost proficiency, more favorably the "Fire Release: Great Fireball" technique which is also a right of passage to adulthood in the clan if performed masterfully. Thus all characters who are Uchiha are required to have Katon as their main element.

Elite Clan
The Uchiha Clan is one of the most powerful and famed clans in the ninja world, stemming from both their talents and powerful kekkei genkai. All clan members are proficient in nearly all forms of the ninja art, which include ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu (This does not mean Uchiha characters can have three specialties however). They are seemingly naturals in nearly everything they do which makes them idolized in their respected villages. Along with their talents, speed is something that the Uchiha also highly prioritizes rather than brute strength. From their training and interest in high speed movement each clan member tends to have special characteristics involving speed and are innatley agile and quick.

Kekkei Genkai:

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any hand seals.

The Mangekyō Sharingan ( Literally meaning Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, and erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be alleviated by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The techniques used by this eye vary from person to person and is limited to one technique per eye. It can be achieved by the killing of someone who is very close to the user as a display of being willing to sacrifice anything for power. This can not be fooled and be a fake friend. It must be a real and true strong connection so it takes a certain kind of individual to be able to get it. It can also be gotten by extremely brutal and long training, taking many years to obtain of constant hard work and dedication, though the person can not be aiming for it and it actually just happens at random. Even with the hardest work, it is possible for an Uchiha to never achieve this level of eye mastery.

While many shinobi envy the Uchiha bloodline, seeing it as model of the ninja way and a clan whose power is virtually undisputed, this power is naturally not without cost. These costs begin when the child is born and end when they die; at no point in-between does a Uchiha know rest from the memories of old pains...and the sting of new pains. It is the way of the clan to suffer and it is the way of the Uchiha to bear this burden. None seems better equipped to symbolize this struggle than the child known as Osore.

Born into a family within the clan who, like their brethren, did not have activated Sharingan. It is an overlooked fact that many Uchiha simply are incapable or ever activating their eyes and this particular bloodline had not done so for a decade now, drawing suspicions as to whether they were 'Doujutsu infertile' or otherwise an inferior part. Osore was a child born after this decade, when the family had begun to make every attempt to induce the Sharingan in their children, through any means necessary.

In the womb, Osore was injected with proteins and chakra supplements, his mother was kept in an environment with as little change or disruption as possible and her diet was similarly designed to aid chakra development. After birth this trend continued with supplement diets as well as injecting more into his mother's bloodstream in the hope that his breast feeding would also nourish him. And this did indeed work, by the age of 3 years the boy was capable of the absolutely incredible feat of performing a raw jutsu.

The boy lacked the finesse to perform handseals, the child body not being developed muscularly to compensate, and in full view of his parents who were watching him play in the yard...he create a fireball. More accurately, he vomited it up unintentionally, having a less than capable control of his greatly expanded abilities and this hiccup of a Ninjutsu was only 'cute' and 'impressive' for a few moments.

His body had been producing chakra for almost 4 years now and none of it was being used, none of it had a way out, and so this little 'fireball' actually engulfed the entire yard and detonated into an explosive force which drew the attention of the entire clan. The fireball had singed away at his vocal chords, leaving the boy hoarse and had dealt severe damage to his body, covering him with burns as well as burning his genitalia so severely that the doctors were required to amputate. It simply had no use anymore. His family didn't survive, both his mother and father being found singed to death and the glass to the home melted away where they had watched their son perform the first, and last, jutsu they would ever see.

Thus at the age of 3 years, Osore was indeed the talent that the clan desired and residing in his hospital bed, with the doctors in full view, he went on to do the unthinkable. His eyes wandered to the administrator nurse who was tending him, opening and revealing the development of a tomoe, seemingly through sheer force of will in the face of this accident.

Nobody could doubt the effectiveness of the family lines techniques.
They'd destroyed a boy's life...
But they got what they wanted...

The Sharingan.

Osore was hospitalized for quite a time, requiring a full two year recovery project as while medical techniques could heal him, he was too young and removing the damaged tissue all at once threatened to kill the boy from shock. This required a slow process which also accommodated for his growth, allowing him to be returned to perfect health, save for the amputated genitals and damage to his vocal chords. He would forever find great pain speaking and be marked as a literal 'Ken doll'.

Still, his recovery did not stop his education process as the remainder of the Uchiha clan soon found out about the practices the family had used to produce such an incident and were determined to ensure that Osore never again caused such injury to himself or others. The family was tried for their crime of using illegal medical substances and supplements to the effect of damaging one boy's life and killing two Uchiha. They were easily found guilty and were banished from the clan's lands for the rest of their lineage until such time as they could produce a legitimate a three-tomoe Sharingan. This requirement was levied as a sort of 'impossible' statement, ensuring that they never returned but giving the illusion that they were not totally unfair. The bloodline had never produced more than a single tomoe in a hundred years, so fairness was clearly not present...

In order to prevent future accidents, Osore was trained in Genjutsu rather than Ninjutsu while he was in the hospital and took to it very easily. After his recovery he was enrolled in the Konoha Academy, despite the fact that this clan of Uchiha did not live within the village and maintained their own lands and rights independently, and graduated within a year. At the age of six he was a Genin shinobi, half the age of any of his peers and regarded as a 'child prodigy'.

Prodigy was a bit of an unfit word for a biological product...but Osore was content to simply be out of his bed for once. When other children in his classes would tease him, he had a nasty habit of using Genjutsu on them, once making a student walk in a circles in the yard until he passed out, crying to be let go from the illusion for three hours. This didn't stop the little Uchiha. Not even a little bit. Others tried to help...they were put under the same conditions. It wasn't until the night crew came and found the collapsed bodies of the students did anyone realize, but Osore was long gone at that point and was severely reprimanded in the next class session. He made no attempt to hide his behavior and failed to apologize, saying that anyone who failed to respect the Uchiha needed to be taught what it felt like to be subject to the Sharingan.

Thankfully, the boy graduated shortly after this incident and no further 'accidents' occurred during the academy. During his time as a Genin, Osore was trained within the clan's compounds and lands, his records being forfeited in their entirety to the clan as soon as he'd left the academy. They were exceptionally thorough, demanding that the boy's little 'incident' no longer existed on paper. And they made sure of it.

As far as Konoha record could tell, Osore had never been to them and his inability to play nice with others meant he would never return. He received his Ninjutsu training for the Uchiha clan itself and became proficient with Katon and, oddly, Suiton. Though this produced mostly oil and not actual water, making the correlation far more evident.

Further training began to reveal some disturbing traits in the Uchiha child. His sparring partners were often needlessly beaten much harder than was required and he did not seem to rest or enjoy his time away from training. When forced into resting times to keep his body healthy, he would often threaten the clan leaders or others and if not watched, would leave his bed and resume training in his room. At the request of the clan he was eventually bound and examined by a medical professional.

It was determined that his birth had caused certain birth defects, namely that the receptors in his brain which governed the reward system rewarding him for physical exhaustion as well as pain in others. His brain was physically and chemically reinforcing his sadism and if left unchecked, it would spiral well out of control before it ever got better. Surgery could be attempted but it would threaten Osore's life if attempted and was decided as a last resort. Until such a time as it was needed, the young Uchiha was put under the effects of a powerful Genjutsu at the age of 12 induced by the clan elder's triple tomoe.

This allowed the clan to severely restrain the boy's chemical reactions, allowing him to operate without the chemical sadism and allowing the clan to continue training him without fear of potential consequence. The consequences of this Genjutsu meant that the boys mental functions were partially impaired, however, and this greatly slowed the rate of his training. Additionally, maintaining this mental control through Sharingan 24/7 began to wear at the clan elder. After Osore reached the age of 20, 8 long years of training and the Genjutsu's activity, the head died.

It is unsure what the exact cause was, some suspect a simple heart attack or strain, but this quickly became irrelevant. The clan had to act quickly to handle the Uchiha who was no longer being mentally restrained, but any action they took would be too slow. Osore was found crumpled in a corner of his home, his own blood smeared on the walls and his body shaking violently, psyche broken even further than before with the influx of every restrained ounce of neural chemical that had been held back for nearly a decade. It simply broke him.

But broken things were dangerous, like glass, and he was similar. The investigative party sent to check up on Osore after the death of the man holding the Genjutsu were the first to find themselves killed by the reawakened Uchiha. Acting quickly and using the training he'd received over the years, he broke into the clan's records and Kinjutsu stores, stealing a summoning scroll and destroying any signs that he had ever existed. While this left the living people as evidence, he resolved to solve that problem later, fleeing from the clan immediately afterwards and never looking back.

Fleeing from his village Osore quickly found himself caught up in the need for money in the shinobi world away from the villages, starting to find work with other 'Missing Nin' despite finding them to be mostly repulsive. Many of his peers continued to claim their innocence or expressed pity or remorse, the Uchiha finding such things to be childish in the face of what they now were. He still required funds, however, and thus worked as quietly as possible, mastering his Summoning contract slowly but surely as he worked and using his Sharingan to control the creatures it conjured forth. The scroll was very specific about these procedures, making it a fairly simple task even if he had not been more or less a gifted shinobi.

Using his new found Summoning abilities and already powerful Genjutsu Osore was able to carve out a name for himself and fund himself for a few years. During this period of time, however, he began to encounter a specific shinobi during his assignments. This individual was what he could only describe as an eye sore, even to his Sharingan, and though he was easy enough to deal with via Genjutsu, he was persistent. They conflicted on numerous occasions, hired out by different individuals with clashing goals, though Osore always won out, binding him with Genjustu and continuing his job as normal. This meant that while he was consistently aware that this man was butting heads with him, he could not account for how it looked like from his end, though it likely involved substantially more torture devices and rage at being enthralled by the Sharingan.

Unfortunately, no scenarios afforded him the chance to actually kill him as he found himself exhausted just holding the man still for hours at a time while he worked, meaning that they both came out alive. He'd made attempts to cut his head off, or blow him apart, but he seemed very resilient to injury and whenever he would assume that the man had died, things just didn't work out that way. Osore decided after the first few attempts that it was easier, quieter, and cheaper if he just Genjutsu'd him into submission and left him there. Killing him seemed to be an impossibility and even if he removed limbs, they came back the next time they saw one another to his frustration.

This individual would eventually be hired alongside the Uchiha for a job involving obtaining a Jinchurriki, promptly causing Osore to take his new found companion aside and 'make a better deal'. Not wanting to continue to fight someone he had difficulty with but also deciding that going on this sort of suicide mission would be a reckless task, he convinced the man to work with him on a more monetarily lucrative task. The employer was only privy to this planning when the kunai had found its way through his throat. A man with enough money to pay for the removal of a Biju was wealthy indeed and removing this man from the picture granted them a portion of that wealth from his person and home, allowing Osore to live comfortably for the foreseeable future only taking jobs that interested him from that point onward and not caring about the payout.

With his newly created ally these tasks became much easier as well and Osore began to adapt his arsenal of jutsu to better match his partner, allowing both of them to function as a unit to frightening effect. With this pairing, their total success rate on any mission is an astounding 100%. They have never failed a mission that they have taken and while this might be diminished by the fact that the Uchiha is picky, he is picky with the casualty count, meaning that this success rate represents an even larger body count.

Still, despite being the pretty one, he is also the short-sighted one and while he has no problem aiding in the ambitions of his partner, he seems to have very few of his own for the future...although a recent task has shown that Osore has some degree of future-sight, hiring other Missing Nin to eradicate what was left of his weakened clan and burn what remained, ensuring that the only people who know he exists are his partners in work and himself.

The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper which has a script on it that serves to facilitate its explosive properties. The ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log. When the note is set it begins a slow burn which results in a large explosion. These may be activated by a small flame or through the usage of an Academy Jutsu.

Explosive Pouch
Small pouches that are filled with gunpowder. They explode at half the strength of an exploding note, and require an active flame to set off.

Smoke Bombs

Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed.

Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original. Because the chakra of each clone is evenly distributed, the user and each clone will contain the same amount of chakra after deducting the initial chakra cost. All remaining chakra on the clone after it is dispersed is refunded to the user. Clones automatically disperse if their chakra supply hits zero, but are not influenced by the 10 chakra minimum for survival.

Description: The One-Tomoe version of the Sharigan is accessible to young Uchiha who skills have deemed them C-Ranked in power and skill. Like all versions of the Sharingan, the user is able to see the flow of chakra whether it be internal or external. Such skills derived from his ability include being able to identify clones, detecting chakra barriers and genjutsu, and even telling if someone is placed under a genjutsu by detecting chakra irregularities. Being the beginner form of the Sharingan, the One-Tomoe form grants the user the basic skill of the Sharingan which is being able to grant its wielders incredible levels of perception and clarity. In a more simplistic explanation, the user's vision is now able to see perceive things in slow motion. From flying weapons, to enemy movements, everything is slowed to a speed readable of that of the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.

Description: A Katon technique which relies on an explosive tag or other explosive device, triggering when the explosive activates by converting the energy directly into heat and flame, creating a much larger and more dangerous fireball that erupts from the tag. This fireball sets ablaze whatever it consumed and deals heavy burn damage as well to any victim caught within it, but is slower than a normal explosion. The rank of jutsu determines the number of tags which can be converted at once (and must be converted), the explosion acts not only as a jutsu of the appropriate rank but also deals the damage of the exploding tags as well, making the jutsu more powerful than others of its rank but making it more set up intensive. At B Rank+ it covers longer ranges as well.

Description: A simplistic illusion which does not require handseals (just a physical gesture) and which causes the appearance of a projectile weapon(s) (up to five) to be fired from out of sight and intercept the opponent, either aiming to stop them from moving or aim to force them to move. Typically large projectiles such as Windmill Shuriken are used, and the illusion can cause the weapon(s) launched to appear anyway desired (Ex. dripping with poison) to make them appear less desirable to not dodge. The caster may choose to either have the projectile(s) dodgeable, or undodgable, with different uses. Dodging forces movement, whereas undodgable naturally reveals the nature of the Genjutsu but can convince an opponent that future projectile threats are also illusions or, at the very least, make the distinction hazy.

Description: A nervous system based illusion which creates the illusion of a figure which the target finds attractive tilting their head, commonly by the chin, to look them in the eyes. If visual impediments are in the way (ex. special glasses) they are removed. The Genjutsu applies pressure to the nervous system along with the visual illusion to convince the body to go along and move in the real world with the illusion, even removing their own equipment as the illusion does for them. The jutsu's illusionary female's eyes line up with the caster's and once contact is made, they may immediately switch to another Genjutsu which requires eye contact. This Genjustu ends shortly before the secondary one is started, providing a short-lived realization of what has occurred, making the new illusion far more obvious as a consequence. May only cast follow up Genjutsu up to one rank higher than the rank used.

This Genjutsu is commonly used to create false credentials or paperwork and because of its subtle nature, and the fact that it is owned by a shinobi who remains unknown, no safety measures yet exist in most villages to check paperwork for this Genjutsu. This can allow the caster entrance into places or events which they normally would not be able to enter.

The technique is commonly used to distract an opponent so the user can follow up with an attack or flee the scene. If the opponent were to touch the leaves, they would be able to walk out with ease and cancel the illusion without being harmed.

Description: Shinrin Gādian is a genjutsu technique. After performing the required handseals and direct eye contact has been made with the user, they will be able to create three average - sized male lions that are made up of leaves. The illusionary lions will appear by walking from behind the user, each one having a mane made up from more leaves. They are able to run up and attack the users opponent, but once bodily contact has been made by the lions, they will simply fade away like normal clones. An advantage to these fake lions is that if attacks are thrown at them, they will always be able to dodge by avoiding the attacks or having the leaves form gaps so something such as a kunai doesn't touch them. They are used for distraction purposes and possibly for the opponent to flee the scene.

It is intended as a momentary but critical distraction, requiring the target to turn around to face their interfering party and opening them up for other attacks. Even if the target does not respond to them, they are still physically paralyzed for the Genjutsu's duration, opening an attack window either way. This Genjutsu requires the caster to sit still and perform constant handseals for the moments it lasts however, meaning it cannot be used to protect the caster with any degree of efficiency. Ends if the conjured individual is properly handled or removed.

This Genjutsu's only true purpose in battle is to provide another barrier to purging the body or fixing injuries and otherwise has no noteworthy effects on an opponent. The jutsu becomes more obvious the more severe their injuries or effects were prior to casting, as is obvious by its nature.

The target's vision is overriden by the caster and they percieve time more slowly than normal, muscles in use within enemy bodies light up, clones are outlined in a blue hue, and the chakra flow appears lines of flame throughout their body, simulating the primary information the Sharingan normally gives. Because this jutsu relies on the caster's vision, they must have Sharingan active and be able to see whatever the target sees in order to accurately relay this information. Inversely, this is infinitely faster than sharing information verbally and can greatly improve an ally's combat effectiveness at the cost of the caster's chakra.
