Through the forests, towards the Waterfall Country. [Aaron, Break, Klown & TNT - Mission]

[Travelling to a neighbouring territory (territory whose border touches the one you are in or is the nearest one by sea travel in a certain direction) – 24 hours. Requires thread in travel forum (300 words min)]

Elated from his recent achievement, Akimaru felt the confidence build slightly within him, as if a small building block had been added to his small house of confidence. It was a good feeling. As the team were walking towards their destination (the Waterfall Country) he noticed positive things. The cloud hadn't yet set in before the sun, so Akimaru could still bask in it's warmth whilst walking. He knew this would change once he reached his destination. The clouds would set in and the weather would drastically change. Whether it would storm or not, he was still unsure, but it looked about 90% it would. Those cirrus cloud did not look friendly.

As they continued, the trees bustled as if whispering to each other. Birds tweeted, chicks hungry for their regurgitated food from their mothers, others squaked as they fought over territory and other issues. "Pitiful." Akimaru thought sadly to himself. But wherever there was love, there was war. It made Aikmaru think about this mission. Why would children be so hell-bent on being horrors, to innocent people? Akimaru desperately wanted to know some sort of validation of their reported actions. He considered asking the kids directly, and subjected to his recent elation, he decided he would.

Whether it would be the first thing he did upon meeting the children, he highly doubted. Even in his head, he reffered to them as "children" or "kids", but they were reported to be 11 & 12, only 2-3 years younger than him. Also, they had earned a reputation as C-Ranked and D-Ranked missing ninja, so they wouldn't be a breeze. They were ninja, and were most likely to put up a fight. Even though he was officially ranked B as a ninja, and had another B Ranked ninja and two C Ranked ninja with him, Akimaru was still nervous.

Zetsumei walked with Akimaru and the others, the sun was still quite bright and the warmth glazed the back of Zetsumeis back, it was a good feeling. Zetsumeis confidence had grown since the fight with ling as he nearly killed him and had gained the third tomoe, Zetsumei was ready for battle. Zetsumei was a warrior, born to kill he figured soon his destiny would to leave the village and become a top class bounty hunter with some of his desciples by his side, but this was way off and all Klown could do is wait for that day to come and until it does he will be amember of konoha loyal like any other.

Zetsumei just walked on rather swiftly and would slowly break into a jog then a run with the others, now the clouds had set and the mean cirrus clouds were rampaging. It was raining mercilessly and Zetsumei was getting soaked sadly for him he was a fire shinobi but he was trained well and luckily enough his fire would still be powerful, just not as much which was a major downside. As for the others he knew nothing about them except for akimaru who was a water and earth shinobi.

They were now in the waterfall country and it was quite clear that the hairy lad would be annoyed by the rain coming down and hitting his furry coat. Zetsumei knew he would be able to take the D-rank ninja by himself most likely but that wasn't certain. Zetsumei knew that a strategy would be needed. Zetsumei was just about to to speak when he thought about the strategy and once he was certain he spoke saying "Alright so for our strategy as you Akimaru are defense based you will take no one just protect us. I will take the 3 d-ranked ninja and the to gening will take the C-ranked, got it! good." Zetsumei felt obliged to protect them and by doing so he would take on 3 people.

Fang thought back on what had happened. He had charged his comrade and had just in time dodged a ton of spit from the other. He was pleased that he had stood up for his race. Of course, as always, the humans blamed him, though he was provoked. Humans always made it not their fault and Fang had learned to expect it. As he took a far lead from the others, using his superior senses to their advantaged, he cleared his head of what had happened. He wasn't through with that human, not by a long shot. He smiled at how lucky the punk was. If the bastard were Ookami, Fang would have challenged him to a king's duel. King's duels rarely happened now a days because if the Ookami couldn't stick together as well as humans did, then the race would die out.

Fang would not let that happen at any cost. If it took killing himself to save his race, he would not hesitate.

In the lead with him were two wolves that he had summoned. They had better senses than he did, so he figured it would be nice to have them when they were close to their destination. Both were busy sniffing and listening to the surroundings. Fang's ears rotated backwards and caught the end of what his squad mate was saying. He looked over at one of the wolves, whose ears were pointed back at the Chuunin.

"What did he say?"
The wolf repeated the plan. Fang looked back, raised a thumbs up, and returned walking on all fours, sniffing and scanning the environment.

The rain would be on top of them then. He smiled to himself. He enjoyed the rain. It cleaned his fur and made smells stand out better. It made the birds come out and sing. It made the world happier. Humans just couldn't grasp how wonderful rain truly was. For this, and many other reasons, such as false honor, he pitied humans. They pictured themselves as the dominant race, but all that image is is an illusion. An illusion of power, which is all power is. An illusion. It was a weakness. Just another advantage Fang had.

Remember Fang, a wise man knows he's weakest when he thinks he is at his strongest. Don't lose that in this up-coming battle.

Stepping on the small stones that were impeded on the ground. The rain poured down on them, and Break didn't want to risk getting his shoes wet and gooey and full of mud. He looked down at the ground with a smile on his face, as always. He heard one of the chunins plans and he looked up to see the back of their heads. He was far behind them so he skipped on the rocks to catch up to them. "Hey, who died and made you leader, Klown? I though that Akimaru was the leader of this mission!" He hollered at him. The path of stones came to an end and he frowned, looking down upon the mud. He looked ahead and saw that after a mildly wide gap the path continued. He took a deep breath and leaped forward. Sadly, a part of his shoe hit the mud and he sighed. When he got home, Milly would be mad that he ruined his shoes. That would be far worse than getting beat in this mission.

The group was still walking along, now in Waterfall Country. As Zetsumei has said the orders to the rest of the team, Akimaru was supressing slight annoyance, but Xerxes raised the issue. Rather than taking sides, Akimaru just stomped it out. "Leave it." he said firmly to Xerxes behind Zetsumei's back. He didn't want disturbance within the team before they had even reached their destination. The rain was falling down heavily now, and Akimaru was getting steadily wetter and wetter. Akimaru liked the rain. It felt good on his hair.

It was easier, things. In the rain. Akimaru felt more agile in the rain, for some reason. Although the rain had nothing to do with his speed. He also felt more confident in the rain. It was stupid reasoning, he guessed, but still. It was an emotion he found hard to suppress, because it was a positive one. The team crossed a bend in the road and it was clear they were now off the beaten path, heading towards the village in which these kids were causing trouble.

"Why would a child want to throw away their future like this?" Akimaru thought wildly to himself. They were now in a forest. Only Akimaru knew the way from here on, but it did not matter. His team were loyal and they followed without much question. In the forest, under the cover of the trees, the area was much drier. If there was going to be battle, he would want to draw the opponents out in to the open. Either that, or he would use Doton to move the trees. But he didn't like destroying the environment, so he decided to tell his team.

"Right guys, if we are going to battle, I would much prefer to do it out in the open due to obvious enhancement to my Suiton element, and the fact I have a better view of the three of you." Pausing for breath, Akimaru continued; "Also, if I have to use Doton element to smash these trees out the way, there's a chance I could injure one of you guys. I don't want that." It was probably the longest sentence Akimaru had ever said, but he was proud that he did. It had been reported that the reason the kids managed to stay near the village is because they had a guarded camp in the forest nearby, and they stole food from the village.

Now, the mission really began.
