Takin a break

I'm gunna be taking a break for a bit, I've lost the muse for Naruto RP at the moment. And add in that I've lost interest in my character, things just get worse. Hopefully after a few days the muse returns. If not, I may consider requesting to work on a new character that'd I'd fully be interested in RP'in. So, see ya'll in a few days or so.

Ever considered just roleplaying to get out of this issue? Such as the OOC Battlezone board or maybe even trying to find a 'partner' to do a lot of RPing for, for jutsu and that! ;D

Like Dan said, there are many alternatives than just waiting for inspiration. Sometimes you have to go out (into the cyberworld, in this case) and get it!

Waiting for inspiration is literally the worst thing you can do to get inspiration. It's like sitting on your hands and waiting for an opportunity to come to you instead of seeking it out. Writing should be your muse, focus on it. Write anything, whether it's Naruto related or not and the passion will resurface. Then you won't have to leave, as for your character if it's a serious problem you can kill it off and make a new one.

I can sympathize with your problem. The suggestions given so far are quite sound. Some additional advice: if you plan on taking a break, then use it to plan out a story for your character, or anything else to develop him. Like Adam said, don't just wait for the muse to come back. Force it to. That's what I did during an earlier leave of mine, and now I've got a bunch of sub-plots and ideas for my character.

I'm back, sort of. Essentially I'm just lingering at the moment trying to straighten my current thoughts which seem to revolve around my current character. While my muse here had died, I had tried to get myself posting elsewhere only for those threads to come to a halt for whatever reasons(they weren't here), thus halting the muse somewhat again. As a result of that, I took to Ulkira's word, sat myself down and tried to plan out something for my character, and I came to a conclusion. I never took the time to create a character I'd be fully interested in.

Whilst trying to create plans for Iori I had sat and looked through his app a few times, in the end realizing my lack of muse is my own fault. Why? Simply because I didn't take the time to create a character I'd fully be interested in. Mind you, I also didn't have a Naruto RP mindset when I made him as this was and still is my first Naruto site. So having thought things through, I'd much like to take the time and create a character I'll actually be interested in/have a plan/plot for. (Mods/Admins if you wish to speak to me about this, PM me please)

Either way as of right now I'm lingering. Hopefully I'll be postin again soon.
