To add to what Aaron said, there are some topics in the villages that you cannot view unless you are a member of that village. For instance, I cannot see the current Topic of The Month since it is in the Kumo forum, and I'm assuming members who are from Konoha and Kiri cannot read it either.

So, if you want to read TOTM, I believe you would either have to join Kumo, or become a Staff member.

Why do we just not move TOTMs to a part of the forum every one can see, once we've established them as a TOTM?

All they would really have to do is just adjust the permissions for each of the User Groups (as I believe there is a user group for Newbies as well) to see whatever forum the Topic of the Month was in, providing Forumotion's set up hasnt changed recently.

Though I don't really care about such things, I guess this would be the best way to deal with stuff. Things will eventually get archived anyway, so why not just put them in a special spot. Just saying...
