- Mission Title: Wanted: Aibori Kaguya
Mission Type: Event Mission Location: Kusa no Kuni - The Grass Country Shinobi Requirement: One per Village Mission Rank: A Mission Objective A: An internationally renowned criminal of high rank has made himself known once more. The former Jounin of Kirigakure, Aibori Kaguya, known for his remarkable abilities with Bone Manipulation, has mercilessly slaughtered an entire civilian village within the Grass Country. With the military of Kusa no Kuni already in shambles, the government has put out a hit on Aibori in order to have this A - Rank Nukenin captured or killed. A shinobi from each village will go out and try to bring an end to the criminal by force. Each Kage will send a single ninja to the Grass Country in order to have this nuisance of a nukenin attended to properly, with the Kage believing that a single ninja will be more than enough to have this nukenin captured or killed. Upon the discovery that other ninja have been sent out to capture or kill the same foe, the individual ninja may decide to team up as a three man squad to squash their foe with ease. The bounty reward will be shared out evenly, with the captured or dead body of the nukenin being delivered to a military outpost within Kusi no Kuni. This objective will see a reward of ten EXP added to additional funds to each individual provided the mission is carried out successfully. Mission Objective B: If a three man squad is not formed, then a two man squad may instead be created between two village ninja in order to establish some form of support for one another. Two heads is better than one afterall. If on the occasion on a two man squad, the bounty reward will be split among themselves, though the one left out may find themselves lucky enough to kill or capture the nukenin by themselves and thus claim the entire bounty. With a bounty prize of thirty EXP being added to additional funds, the victors of the mission shall receive fifteen EXP each or the entire thirty EXP if the single person carries out the mission successfully. Mission Objective C: In a possibly more likely scenario, the three individuals, wanting to claim the entire reward for themselves, have all decided to go at it alone and take the either alive or dead body of the nukenin to a military outpost within Kusa no Kuni. This objective will see the reward of thirty EXP added to additional funds to whoever takes the captured or deceased body of the Nukenin to the military outpost first.

Aries Wildfire Aibori Kaguya A light temperate breeze cut through the warm sun beams as Hisoka traipsed along the dirt roads that snaked through a small village. The Land of Grass would be considered beautiful to most – almost always sunny, covered in green, and full of life. However, Hisoka was not one to take kindly to heat or sun. In fact, he hated it. He preferred the cool damp Land of Water where he had grown up. The thick chilled moister that hung in the air and haunted the waters had grown comforting to the Ryoku. Although, the weather in the Land of Grass felt like a walk in the park compared to what Hisoka had recently been forced to endure. Not long before being sent on the mission he was now on, Hisoka was stationed in the Land of Iron – a god-forsaken place covered in ice and blizzards – fighting a brutal war against an impressive army of rogue ninja and the infamous samurai. Of course, not long after he returned he was assigned yet another mission that required traveling outside of the village. However, his time Hisoka was battling one man, not an entire army. The mission was to find and eliminate a powerful rogue ninja named Aibori Kaguya. Hisoka’s lips curled into a smirk at the thought of killing a Kaguya. Many years ago, when Hisoka was just a genin, he had picked a fight with a young Kaguya girl. Being the reckless, overly confident kid that he was, he foolishly ran head first into battle only to learn that the Kaguya were not to be taken lightly. Hisoka was older and stronger now but the resentment of the embarrassment from that loss still frustrated him; he could not wait to get his hands on this rogue Kaguya punk. Aibori had apparently destroyed an entire civilian village in the Land of Grass so the government placed an impressive bounty on his head to inspire the main shinobi villages to get involved and eliminate the threat. Hisoka understood why he would be picked for such a dangerous mission being one of the few jounin and council member of Kirigakure. However, he did not get why he had to babysit a genin brat along the way that would only get in the way or get killed. Hisoka kept a steady but relaxed pace ahead of the genin boy, trying to forget that he was there. Hisoka’s dark blue sleeveless vest was left open in the front allowing the cool breeze to caress his flawlessly toned abdomen and shapely yet petite pectorals. His shinobi head band as tied loosely around his neck and lazily rested on his defined collar bones. Embroidered on the back of the vest was a golden dragon that snaked the length of his back. A large hood attached to the vest covered his head, shielding his unique, golden, cat-like eyes from the brightness of the sun. Even so, his slender almond-shaped eyes squinted into an attractive glare to avoid too much light to filter in. From his high cheekbones, to his defined jawline, every one of his features was sharp and flawless – almost inhuman. The waistline of his pants hung low, allowing the curved line of his obliques to be visible. His slender legs were lost in the billowing fabric of his loose black pants that were tucked into black shinobi boots that secured around his thigh but were open-toed. One of his favorite weapons – The Death Strike – was secured to his back, just as hungry for battle as Hisoka was. He walked with the same cocky arrogance that had always seeped from his intense aura. The village’s small bar came into view – a familiar scene for Hisoka and a good place to get information. “Stay here, kid.” He dismissed the genin and turned into the bar, brushing back the long pieces of fabric that hung in the door way. Hisoka approached the bar that separated him from the bartender who was casually cleaning a glass. “Yo, Pops.” Hisoka lifted his hand and used his unique ability to manipulate paper to cause the picture of Aibori Kaguya to slip from inside his pouch and into his hand. If there was thing Hisoka loved doing more than anything, it was showing off. “You know anything about this guy?” The older man behind the bar froze as his face molded into a concerned and pained expression. He hesitated before answering. “Yes, unfortunately I do. Rumor has it he is hiding out near Mijikai Lake. It’s not far. Due North from here.” Hisoka smirked before he tucked the paper back into its place. “Thanks, Pops.” The Kirigakure shinobi turned to leave before the bartender spoke out. “The man you are looking for is not to be underestimated. He is very dangerous.” Hisoka’s smirk morphed into the same cocky, sinister grin that defined him. “Good. So am I.” Once again pushing the fabric out of the way, Hisoka left the bar. “C’mon beanstalk. We got a lead. Pops said that he’s most likely hangin’ out near a lake North of here. Let’s get movin’.” He signaled the genin boy to follow and continued down the dirt road and out of the village. *** As soon as the lake came into view Hisoka stopped while still in the shade of the trees, keeping their position from being known for now until they scouted out the area. He turned to address the genin. “O.K. kid. Let’s get somethin’ straight. I’m not here to babysit you. And I’m certainly not gunna save your ass if you get in trouble. I really have no idea why you were even sent on this mission with me in the first place but basically you’re on your own kid. Got it? And don’t get in my way unless you have a death wish.” Name: Hisoka Ryoku | Rank: Jounin | Position: Council |

| The Land of Grass surely was on Kirima's good side and had lightened her mood considerably. She had enjoyed her traveling there to the fullest; as it had been warm and a very comfortable weather most of the time. Everything looked so alive, so blissfully peaceful that she could have almost been deceived and thought that this was a happy place where people could come to relax and even have a picnic on the grassy fields. But then she remembered her mission, and with a single glance at the piece of paper in her hand, she confirmed again the identity of the man she was seeking. It gave her small chills to think about what he had done, she couldn't... no didn't want to believe that people could be that heartless.. so cruel and blind to the pain of others. Wake up. You know that's just a part of the world. There are monsters everywhere so you better start looking out.
Truth be told, the redhead was a little bit surprised over being sent away from the village and all this way alone to hunt down a Jounin nukenin. Of course she was doing very well with her ninja work and clearly the superiors were thinking well of her... but shouldn't she have someone else with her? It wasn't exactly like there would be no consequences if she got killed. What if the Nibi would escape then? Either the kage -really- thinks highly of me, or I am walking into some sort of a nasty trap. She shrugged with a small grimace before pocketing the piece of paper again while she stopped and looked slowly around. She was getting close to civilization, the smell of food and smoke along with faint echoes of voices were slowly traveling through the air and meeting with her alerted senses. The muscles in her long legs tensed the slightest bit before she started walking briskly again. People meant information, and the sooner she would get to that criminal the better.
What the young woman truly hoped to be able to do, was to get the nukenin to turn himself in (after beating sense into him) and not have to kill him. She hated death, and she had always refused to go down the path of killing another human being. A very naive perspective considering her career of choice. But Kirima simply had seen her share of death and sadness, and she did not want to have blood on her hands. But at the same time, she knew that she would do what she had to do if it came down to it. The man was a murderer, someone who did not share her viewpoint of the world. So if he would absolutely refuse to turn himself in and try to kill Kirima, she would not hold back for one second. She was getting accustomed to tapping a bit into her power as a Jinchuuriki, and that was always a very powerful surprise when in a battle. Even so, the female tried to not rely too much on the dark powers of the Nibi, as she wanted to become a successful ninja her own way. With her own two hands.
As Kirima came to the end of the small path she had been taking, she found herself facing the small gates of a small and seemingly rather cute village. After looking around, she came to the conclusion that there was no guard around and therefore made her way into the village. The atmosphere was ...tense, to say the least. She felt many pairs of eyes resting on her back while she walked confidently ahead and kept her eyes on the road in front of her. But even so, she noticed most things that were going around her. She didn't want to seem too suspicious by eyeing every activity, but that didn't mean she couldn't smell and hear and sense the things that happened around her.
"Oompf." There was a thudding sound to the right, and Kirima's head swung that way to see what was going on. An elderly woman had dropped a heavy bag of grain and was now busying herself with picking up the grains from the ground before seemingly trying to pick the bag up again. Despite the small alarm that rung at the back of her mind, Kirima started to make her way towards the elderly woman and plastered the good-to-old-people smile across her face. "Can I help you?" Two dark eyes surrounded by heavy wrinkles immediately looked up into Kirima's bright face, and for a moment the young teen could see similar feelings of wariness and distrust that she herself had been feeling. But then the old woman shrugged and offered a small smile. "That would be very nice of you." Without waiting for further invitation, Kirima picked up the bag of grain and held it easily before her as the elderly woman lead the way to her home while occasionally glancing back towards the red headed teen.
When they arrived at a small and tidy looking house, the elderly woman stopped and opened the door before motioning for Kirima to enter. For a second, the Kumo ninja looked briefly around and made sure this was no trap; before she entered the house and looked curiously around. She soon felt the small hand of the woman on her elbow while she was guided towards the kitchen where she could put the bag down. "What is your business in this village?" As she had been raising herself up again after placing the bag on the floor, Kirima paused for a moment and looked towards the elderly woman. It didn't seem like she wanted to dance around the subject, and Kirima could understand and respect that. "I'm searching for a man." She went into her pocket and fished out the picture again of the Kaguya before presenting it to the old woman. There was no waiting for the reaction, as the white haired granny jumped back a bit and then her eyes pierced Kirima. "What do you want with that devil?" The words were spat out like venom, and for a moment Kirima thought that this tiny little woman would probably claw her eyes out if she wouldn't give the right answer.
"I'm on a mission to bring him to justice. Either by his surrender or his death." Both females stared at each other for a few long seconds, before a small crooked smile lifted the corners of the old woman's mouth. "Well you should say that right away! I know where he might be hiding." Despite her trying her best to see if the old woman was lying in any way, Kirima could not see even a hint of deceit on the wrinkled face. So she leaned in a bit closer and listened carefully. "Go to Mijikai Lake, it's just a bit up north from here. But be careful, that man is no human but a devil in a disguise."
If only you knew what I have to hide. But Kirima thanked the old woman and bid her farewell before leaving the house in a brisk walk. Finally she had a lead! As soon as Kirima was sure she was out of everyone's sight, she quickly found a place that was hidden from view and made the needed hand signs so that a perfect copy of herself appeared. She was not taking any risks, and surely did not plan on walking head on into any kind of trap. After issuing in a low voice the commands to the clone that it was to take the lead, Kirima fell back and used her skill as a ninja to remain unnoticed in the background; using to her advantage big boulders and the high grass in order to move quietly on four legs. The old woman had been right, it wasn't long at all to go to the lake. And as Kirima had stopped a little distance away and was hidden carefully, she could glimpse the clone as it kept walking, but remain unnoticed herself and difficult to sense.

Name: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow Clone Technique Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original. Because the chakra of each clone is evenly distributed, the user and each clone will contain the same amount of chakra after deducting the initial chakra cost. All remaining chakra on the clone after it is dispersed is refunded to the user. Clones automatically disperse if their chakra supply hits zero, but are not influenced by the 10 chakra minimum for survival. Chakra Cost: 15 (Per clone)

| Many paths could be made for a single journey, it was something well-known. People could all be heading for the same place and get there a million different ways, all of which were perfectly acceptable, just… different. Being different, being unique was something that many people frowned upon nowadays, something that Kimiko was all too aware of. She was a skilful Jounin of her village, Konoha, and had even been given the honoured ‘Master’ to add to her title. In spite of that, she was still only a twenty year old young woman, and many in the village seemed to resent her for the power she held. Especially other, older Jounin who looked at her with frustration when they saw the young, beautiful girl that had once upon time been a delinquent who did nothing better than run around the village screaming at the top of her lungs. She had been determined and it had gotten her to this point in her life today, that was all there was to it. As a skilled Jounin, she was often turned to for missions as a first port of call by the newly appointed Hokage, Senju Morijin. He stressed a mission of utmost importance to the Katsumi female, and given her the mission scroll to study in more depth. What was rather interesting was how other shinobi from other villages would be collating their efforts to try and capture this deadly criminal Kaguya Aibori. In all her time as a high-ranking shinobi (granted, it wasn’t a whole lot of time), she had never been on a mission where other villages were waiting with their own shinobi for the task. She hoped that the others would be shinobi that were serious with a hint of kindness to make this mission much easier on all of them; if there was one ‘off’ person, it would bring the whole thing down as a whole. Working together was a major factor of this, or rather, a choice in this mission that Kimiko was determined to take.
She had read about the monstrous crime that the Kaguya Nukenin had committed in her travels to Kusa no Kuni, barely keeping her attention on the road. She was a regular when it came to travelling to that neck of the woods, so to speak, because the secluded grasslands made for great training spots away from Hi no Kuni when she needed a change of scenery and not so many eyes watching her. The country was small in comparison to what she was used to, and while she was reading the criminal’s profile in more depth, the next time she looked up she was nearing a village already. Her eyes widened in surprise as she approached slowly, much more cautious than she had been only seconds earlier. She may be a high-ranking shinobi with superhuman senses thanks to unique training, so she would have been able to know instantly if any threats were in her location, but being careful always paid off in such situations. She slowly rolled the scroll she had been reading into the left-most pouch situated at her lower back, simultaneously drawing a kunai in the scroll’s place. She approached the village lightly on the balls of her feet, keeping watch for anything suspicious. And strangely enough… the place was deserted. Unbelievably so. She had seen and heard of ghost towns, but never like this.
She walked through the entrance to the village, the sign above having been broken and scorched in a terrible fire. “What on earth… happened here?” She mumbled aloud in disbelief while she walked slowly through the main street of the place. It wasn’t a large village, perhaps a third of the size of Konoha at best. The houses had doors hanging off their hinges, shops had been vandalised and blood stains showed signs of violent conflict that took place here. No, scrap that. It appeared to be a massacre. She spotted the village’s name on the front of a confectionary store that had rocks thrown through the main window, and knew immediately where she had seen the village’s name before.
If she was not mistaken, this was the village that the Kaguya had committed his crimes.
She ceased walking immediately as a hand found its way covering her heart, not quite being able to believe just what had happened. Turning slightly to face the Genin she had been assigned this mission with, her old student Yamanaka Fugaku, her facial expression spoke volumes. At first, she appeared so shocked that all movement in her face her stopped completely. And then, her face distorted into something much more rage-induced, much angrier. It was one thing reading about monstrosities on paper, but it was another kettle of fish looking at the effects caused in person. She could almost hear the desperate pleas for life that Aibori Kaguya would have heard as he slaughtered innocent people’s lives, and she clenched both her hands into fists, forgetting for a second that she still held a kunai blade in one hand. A few beads of blood trickled down her hand, along her wrist and onto the floor. She cursed and unfolded the hand clasping the kunai, shoving the weapon away in anger. It was strange; she chose not to speak. There were few times that Kimiko was lost for words, but this was most certainly one of those rare instances where she was literally unable to say anything. If she couldn’t say anything nice, she shouldn’t say anything at all. At least, that was what she had been taught as a kid anyway. With a bitter sigh, and continued to move with a new vigour now, gesturing with the hand that hadn’t clamped down over the kunai that they should continue. Morijin had suggested bringing Fugaku along for the mission so that the Genin could get much-needed experience since leaving Team Kimiko, and she was more than happy for him to travel with her. She never saw anybody as her subordinate, and everybody was her equal. That was one of the many strange things about the Katsumi.
As they continued following the pathway ahead, it led straight to what appeared to be a large body of water in the not-so-far distance. If what they were looking for wasn’t in that vicinity, they could continue travelling and track down the Kaguya in due time. If push came to shove, Kimiko could track him using her feline senses. From here, she could spot what appeared to be a head of white hair, and she was immediately on the alert. Kaguya kin were famed for their white hair that was such a trademark for their appearances. This head of hair in the distance, however, appeared to have… flashes of blue in amongst the locks. That could be the sun’s rays reflecting off the hair, however, and the Konoha kunoichi wasn’t taking any chances. The pathway they were following led up the rear of the white-haired person up ahead. As they approached even further, a head of… red hair could be seen in the distance too. ‘Looks like this lake is popular…’ She thought, eyes instinctively narrowing and appearing more feline just from that action. If she had claws, she would retract them and start hissing like a very agitated cat. Her mannerisms were notably cat-like since spending a lot more time with her summons, the Lion family. She was still very suspicious about the white-haired male while they continued to walk in that direction. A ticking time bomb with an accident waiting to happen? Well… she’ll see about that. |

| Evil had been harbouring with Kusa no kuni for some time now. Chaos, anarchy, deception, dictatorship were just a few words to describe its current state. The country was in shambles and civil wars stained a once peaceful reputation causing it to wither away into a shell of its former self. Animosity was almost like a country-wide pandemic. An illness and disease that Aibori Kaguya was going to remedy. The former Kirigakure shinobi’s determination was unquestionable, he considered himself the martyr for this country. Impurity was the Grass nation’s sin and Aibori felt like he its salvation. Everybody has a different definition of purification, most involved cleansing something already impure and because of this Aibori’s definition would seem extreme, yet he felt as if he was just. He felt as if the only way to purify was hit the reset button. There is nothing purer than a blank canvas to create art and Aibori was ready for his masterpiece.
He knew the target he was painting on his back, but he was not concerned. He knew there had to be evil so that good can prove its purity above it. So his rituals would begin with what people would call a massacre. The annihilation of a well-populated civilian village not too far from the Hidden Grass Village. Aibori and his followers had sacked the village within an hour with only minimal defences protecting the seemingly innocent village. But innocence was not the sort of word Aibori would associate with this village. It was a recognized trading centre to many of the shinobi villages which essentially meant that it was supplying the shinobi who were readying for war. Conflict of colossal proportions with hundreds of thousands of causalities. This was the sort of impurity Aibori was fighting against and by taking out one of many pillars was a small victory. The Grass Country had so much promise and untapped potential underneath all the politicking and it was Aibori’s goal to uncover it.
After the purging of the village had transpired Aibori had all of the survivors rounded up. Knowing that the village could not function whatsoever without helping hands it was never his intention to bring the village to ruins he would individually test every one of the approximate one hundred and fifty survivors. The test was nothing barbaric, it was simply a list of questions and if Aibori was satisfied with the answers then they would be allowed to help with the rebuilding of the town. By the end of these interrogations there were barely one hundred left and numbers would dwindle as people would try to escape Aibori’s grasp after being given the chance at redemption. The Kaguya could not understanding why the survivors could not appreciate the opportunities he had given them all. Still a good portion of them remained in check and did what was right for the remainder of the village if for nothing else other than fear. It did not bother Aibori as he could not comprehend what fear felt like.
Word would get out as Aibori had expected and before long Grass shinobi were making attempts to reclaim the village to no avail as each platoon still stood no match for Aibori and his subordinates. Certain Nukenin hearing of what Aibori had done flocked to the village seeking refuge but most were met with the same fate as the grass shinobi. Aibori did not need to bring filth into his ranks. Only the most worthy of Nukenin would cause his numbers to swell. By the end of the week Aibori’s initial six comrades had increased to twenty-one. Each having a certain area to overlook while the Kaguya set up his headquarters in the village where he would strategize on which village he was to purify next.
After garnering the attention of the Grass village however, Aibori’s schemes had been brought to light much sooner than he had hoped and because of this a large bounty was soon placed on his head. Wanted: Dead or Alive. For any potential hunters of this bounty there were two options but for the white-haired Nukenin death was the only route if such a circumstance would arise. Knowing that the Great Nations would be too enticed by their greed and desires for Ryo, Aibori prepared himself for what was to come. Keeping his men at bay, ensuring they kept an eye on things from a distance and made sure their presence was not known by anybody who was passing through. Aibori had made it obvious to as many villagers that he could that he was setting up camp at Mijikai Lake which is where he would set up his ambush if necessary. The usually well-maned entrances to the village were left unguarded, at least it would seem. The men instead remaining hidden in the surroundings and reporting any and all people who entered to a messenger who would relay it to Aibori.
A trio from Sungakure were the first to arrive according to the reports, followed by a Jounin and Genin from Konohagakure. Aibori sent word to one of his generals to get him to handle the trio from the Sand village as he went to watch over the Konohagakure shinobi. The kunoichi was the Jounin and she looked considerably young for the rank. To Aibori it implied that she was very talented for her age which is why she would have been granted such a rank at such a young age but at the same time it screamed inexperience which to Aibori was even more important than talent. The kunoichi and her young male companion thoroughly swept the streets, checking in just about every store, shop and home. In this time Aibori had another report, stating that a single Kumogakure kunoichi had entered the village too, almost slipping in unnoticed. Shortly after, a duo from Kirigakure similar to Konohagakure entered; a male Jounin and a male Genin.
Intrigued by Kumogakure’s urge to only send a single shinobi made Aibori consider to go pick her off first but he didn’t break to desires as easily as most. Knowing that Iwagakure had poor relations with the Kusagakure meant Kirigakure was going to be the last of the Great Five Nations to enter and he’d be smart to the stragglers first, not to mention with their journey being the longest they were more than likely the most worn out. After leaving the Konohagakure shinobi to their boring search through the empty roads, Aibori rushed off to the Kirigakure duo who had found themselves in one of the buildings on the outskirts, a bar if Aibori remembered correctly. The Jounin paced a few steps ahead of the Genin at all times as Aibori stuck to rooftops and back streets making sure to be out of sight. He had made sure he had every street and building memorized to know where to stay hidden or which routes to use to escape if necessary. The Jounin would enter the premises leaving the Genin outside.
Time to strike. Like a flash of lightning, Aibori would dart from the shadows from the Genin right, before he would even take notice of Aibori’s assault the experienced Kaguya had the boy in a rear-naked choke. Dragging him into the alley besides the bar, Aibori was ready to suffocate the life out of him but for some reason he felt obligated as a former Kirigakure shinobi himself to spare the boy who hadn’t had the chance to put up a fight yet. The Kaguya would lay his unconscious body besides a pile of stacked up boxes out of sight. Knowing the Jounin would acknowledge the Genin’s disappearance he Aibori strung together a few hand seals before expelling a small pool of water from his mouth which would engulf the Genin, essentially molding itself around the lad before taking on the image of the Kirigakure Genin he had just rendered unconscious. With a suitable enough doppelganger Aibori ordered the copy of the Kirigakure Genin back to spot the original boy was standing in as it would wait for it's superior.
When the Kirigakure Jounin exited the bar he spoke of a lead and instructed the boy to follow, which the clone would do. Mentioning a lake the shop owner obviously had told her about her Aibori was supposed to be set up and he planned to venture up there. Aibori would stick with the Kirigakure Jounin maintaining a more than safe distance of twenty-five metres knowing that a ninja of Jounin rank caliber would be extremely aware of their surroundings and making sure they were not prone to am ambush, Aibori had no intention to get the jump on this fellow yet he'd wait for the perfect opportunity and did not think such an opportunity would arise until they reached the lake. When they arrived, the Kiri ninja kept hidden themselves, coming to a stop the leader of the two took the opportunity to make sure the kid knew that he wasn’t his babysitter and that he was on his own. How ironic as it was the Jounin that was alone, but as it would seem they would have preferred it that way from the get go.
With Kirigakure, Kumogakure and Konohagakure all hot on his tail now, Aibori anticipated what the what the next move would be. If these guys all could coexist he might be in for a challenge but otherwise it was easy pickings and as of right now the Kirigakure ninja showed no signs of playing well with others which was going to make it all the more easier for Aibori.

In order for this technique to function, the user requires a body of some suit, such as an animal, fish or human. After forming the necessary handseals, the user will envelope their target in a layer of watery chakra that will begin to copy the image of the target. Once done, the water will move itself either to the right of left of where the target is and begin to create a perfect copy of what it had just covered. It draws similarities to a basic Bunshin and Henge combination, however, this 'clone' has no chakra other than the source required to maintain the technique. The 'clone' will be unable to perform any techniques and will be useless in fighting, due to it's watery nature, even a punch will be the equivalent of a light slap. The technique is simply there to create a copy of someone that the user requires. Chakra Cost: 7CP

| Hisoka of the Ryoku Hisoka did not wait for a response from the genin because honestly he didn’t care what he had to say if he had to say anything at all. He quickly slammed his hands together to form several hand seals before several dozen pieces of paper swirled into the air from the pouches attached to his legs, frantically dancing in torrents before they came together to form a large bird - large enough to carry at least four three or four people. Hisoka realized that the unfamiliar terrain may hinder his ability to spot other shinobi before he spotted them. Also, from the air, Hisoka would easily be able to spot any Kumogakure shinobi specifically that might have decided to join in on the fun. Inoshi’s direct orders repeated in Hisoka's head as if reminding him why he was really on this mission. The rogue Kaguya was simply bait for the real motive behind Kirigakure’s involvement. As soon as the news of the rogue Kaguya in the Land of Grass entered Kirigakure, Inoshi had predicted that it was more than likely that shinobi from almost every major village would be sent out to find this man and collect the bounty placed on his head. He was not as interested in the bounty that would come from killing the man but rather in the shinobi from the other villages that may want the bounty. His interests specifically revolved around Kumogakure shinobi. Why? Hisoka had no idea. All he knew were his orders and that was to obtain any and all information regarding Kumogakure and to do so using whatever means necessary. It may or may not have been a mistake to tell Hisoka to use “whatever means necessary.” Then again, the things that Inoshi chose to do were rarely mistakes.
However, this information was above the Kirigakure genin’s clearance and was specifically covert. Therefore, as far as the genin knew, they were in the Land of Grass to kill and collect the bounty for Aibori Kaguya. What he didn’t know was that whether or not they complete that mission would not matter to the Mizukage. The Ryoku jounin steadily leaped onto the bird’s back before turning to update the genin. “I’m gunna try to get a better view from above. Good luck, Kid.” The majestic white wings of the large bird began to beat, causing the tall surrounding grass and plant life to bend and shake. Hisoka and the bird lifted off, leaving the genin on the ground to fend for himself. It only took a couple seconds for the bird to lift above the trees and into the blue skies. The bird lifted Hisoka around 40 meters in the air and continued to hover at that height around the area. Any normal human eye could not see very much detail from that height. However, Hisoka had hand crafted a device specifically for this kind of situation – The Range Finder. Closing one eye in order to allow the other eye to focus, Hisoka adjusted the Range Finder so that he could see anything and anyone on the ground in impressive detail.
It wasn’t long before he spotted a flash of red hair, occasionally becoming vibrant each time the sun had an opportunity to reflect off of it. It was a female, attempting to move stealthily through the terrain but obviously, like Hisoka and his genin, was very unfamiliar with it. She was using large boulders and tall grass in an attempt to hide herself. This was a smart plan for someone that was trying to hide from others on the ground. However, Hisoka had the advantageous position of seeing things from a bird’s-eye-view. Therefore, he was able to spot her much more easily than someone on the ground could. She must have been one of the shinobi that had found her way to the lake where Aibori was rumored to be. By using his Range Finder to zoom in closer on his red haired target, Hisoka was able to see her in a little more detail. Carved into her shinobi headband was the unique symbol belonging to Kumogakure – the village hidden in the clouds. Hisoka smirked. “Perfect,” he muttered in a low, arrogant voice. “That was too easy.” Now, how was he going to “get information” like Inoshi had requested? He was certainly not going to swoop down and shout a friendly hello. This shinobi was sent alone to kill an A rank Kaguya so he was guessing that she was probably highly trained and very skilled. Besides, Hisoka was not the best with words so persuasion or comradery was out of the question. Inoshi was the one that dealt with that sort of thing; so Inoshi would have to deal with this as well.
The large white bird targeted the girl and swooped down toward her. As he got close enough to his target, Hisoka lifted his hands bringing forth a flurry of paper to swirl around the girl. There were several dozen pieces surrounding her and they moved very fast, which would make it very difficult for her see and/or react. Mixed in with this blizzard were 34 exploding notes. The paper would begin by surrounding her in a wide circle before quickly closing in on her, making it more difficult to escape. 30 of the explosive notes would suddenly form into an exact replica of Hisoka directly behind her - the rest of the explosive notes were planted under the clone's clothes as to remain unseen. With movements that exceeded even Hisoka’s own speed, his clone would slam the blunt edge of his blade into the back of the Kumo woman’s head. The impact would be more than enough to knock her out cold. Just as her body would be going limp and falling to the ground from the impact Hisoka’s bird would swoop down and grasp her limp body in its large pelican-like mouth. “Welcome aboard.” Hisoka's cocky words would seep from a satisfactory grin.

Name: Kami Tori - Paper's Bird Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Element: Kami - Paper Range: See Shikigami Clan Ranges Clan: Shikigami Description: This is one of the Shikigami jutsu that was developed and advanced through the ages in order to come up with this final product. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will cause wings of paper to extend from their back, using up to two hundred sheets of paper, and allowing the wings to expand up to two peters on each side of the user's body. Once the wings are completed, the user can fly above the ground at heights of up to eighty meters. What is more, the user can fly at speeds of up to twenty meters per second. This jutsu requires chakra to maintain flight each post; this chakra is drained at the end of the post. This bird can hold up to three hundred pounds and still be able to fly at maximum speed; for every ten pounds over this weight limit that the passengers exceed, the bird's speed slows by two meters per second. This bird cannot hold over four hundred pounds and lift off ground. Chakra Cost: 20 (5 per post)

This is one of the most fundamental ninjutsu of the Shikigami clan, as well as all of the paper users. This jutsu does not require hand seals in order to activate, and instead uses the hand's movements, in most cases, to conduct movement and control. This jutsu is simply the ability to move the paper of the Shikigami clan. The paper will move freely, and without the need to be constantly moving. This jutsu works by covering the paper in a tiny sheen of chakra and manipulating that chakra to move, taking the paper with it. Because of this layer of chakra, the paper is much more water resistant, more dense than normal paper, and very sharp around the edges. This paper moves at different levels of speed, depending on the user's rank. At genin rank, this paper moves at the pace of five meters per second; at chuunin level, this paper moves at eight meters per second; at jounin level, this paper moves at twelve meters per second; at kage/sannin rank, this paper moves at thirteen meters per second. Because this jutsu requires a constant output of chakra in order to maintain this jutsu, every post that this jutsu is used, it will require an upkeep of chakra to be pulled from the user's chakra tank; this chakra is taken at different levels depending on the rank of the user, and thus the amount of paper that he or she would be manipulating. Chakra Cost: 3 (1 per post)

The user will cause thirty sheets of paper to form a single clone of themselves. This clone looks identical to the user, and is a solid clone, able to interact with the environment. This clone shares all of the same combat abilities as the user of this jutsu. What is more, because the clone is created from nothing but paper, and thus lighter then normal humans, it is able to move at speeds that exceed the user's by 10%. What is more, this clone is able to take a substantial amount of damage before dispersing back into its natural, paper state; it has more endurance than the normal Shadow Clones and doesn't disappear when hit by the enemies' non fatal attacks. A naturally fatal attack, obviously, will destroy this clone. This clone is unable to use jutsu. This clone can be created with the use of explosive seals in order to make it more lethal; number of explosive seals added into this clone is decided by the user upon the clone's creation. I gave Coconutly full consent for whatever actions she took, and therefore do not protest to anything that was done in her post. I assume if this action of hers did indeed count, then this will be my exiting post from this thread since there's not much to do when my character has blacked out. But if need be, I will defend my character and act as the Nibi would do if danger would fall upon Kirima.]
Kirima's clone had come to a final halt, and stood now silently..observing the surroundings. In the distance, it seemed as if more people were approaching and that wasn't really a good thing; considering the mission at hand. Everybody were considered a foe at this point, and if these people would be hostile it could severely jeopardize the mission in itself. The perfect replica of Kirima did not even glance in it's owner's direction so that it wouldn't give any hints of another presence. Since even if there were no other people out in the open, that didn't mean they weren't skulking around and hidden from plain view. Just like Kirima herself was.
And speaking off, the Kumo ninja was gradually but slowly inching a little closer; while also circling like a cat that was stalking it's prey. She did not like how easily she had gained her information, even if she did trust that old lady. Something smelled foul, and it was certainly not the nature around her. Perhaps I am being too paranoid like usually... but he is after all a Jounin so I will have to take into account that there will be surprises waiting. I doubt he's been sitting on his ass doing nothing and just waiting to see if somebody will come trying to collect his head.
That thought had barely escaped Kirima's head, when suddenly her eyes opened wider and she pressed herself flatter against the ground. What is that? A giant white bird had suddenly appeared not too far off, and onto it's back jumped a white haired man. Is that him? No, the physical description did not match.. not at all. So who was that? Another ninja on a mission? Or a friend of the perk perhaps? Shit this was not something I had hoped would happen. On that bird the man would have a big upper-hand, both if it came to combat and also in simple observing of his surroundings. If she could have, she would have made herself invisible; but instead lay without even breathing as her eyes followed the bird. If it would look like he was leaving the area or even seem to be slightly sidetracked, she would try to make for a cover. Kirima's heart was thumping loudly in her chest while her eyes stayed glued on the bird. Right now she was painfully aware of how little battle training she had received in her life, and for the second time she wondered why the Hell she found herself alone from her village.
All plans of strategy escaped her mind at once when suddenly the bird swooped down in her direction. Again, she was painfully aware of how easily she could panic in a dire situation and how she was lacking skill of any sort of preparation. She had been warned; her grandfather and whatever friends or comrades she had left. She had been told to go on more missions like this, get used to real combats and learn how to kill and defend her own life. But the young teen was scared to do so.. she was scared of losing control of herself and falling into a pit of darkness and blood-lust. It wasn't that long ago that she had had no faith whatsoever in herself, and up until recently she had found herself a new boost of courage and confidence. So was it any wonder that for a precious second, she fumbled and wasn't sure what to do?
I will die.
The terror in her eyes was probably very plain to see, as she stumbled up on her feet and started to make hand signs.. for anything really. Fire. She had to rely on fire. But again, she was thrown a bit off balance as suddenly paper of all things was flying towards her and surrounding her. Kirima's heart was beating painfully fast in her chest, and something was starting to stir. Her fright, and the possibility of her losing her life were both prodding at the beast which lay sleeping.
I don't want to die...
Before she could manage to finish the hand signs though, a sharp pain made her stumble forward and things got blurry. Out of the corner of her eyes, she noticed that her clone got dispersed and that could only mean that she was going to be blacking out.
I don't ...want to...
Darkness swept upon her, just like the huge white bird had done; and the Kumogakure ninja was at the mercy of the man who was trying to capture her.
One might wonder why the tailed beast did not burst forth at that point? Maybe the Nibi simply did not like the mission and it's dangers at all, and mixed with that was the obvious fact that no hint of a killing intent was to be spotted from the man. So the beast remained where it was, one eye open while it felt around a bit. So long as it's host would stay in one piece, so would the Nibi behave.

| It seemed that she and her companion could approach entirely un-noticed from behind the white-haired stranger. Kimiko glanced at Fugaku, giving him a string of hand signs that basically translated to ‘Get down in the long grass over there and leave this to me’, basically by jabbing a thumb in the direction she wished for the youth to hide in. She could sense the tension hanging in the air like a cloying veil, and it didn’t sit well with her, especially not since she could sense hostile vibes up ahead at the back of the white-haired man. Intuition told her as much, and she may be wrong, but it was better to err on the side of caution, especially in these kinds of situations, for sure. She moved silently, stepping on the balls of her feet and moving her body ever so slightly as not to cause her clothing to rustle or anything else that give her position away. She gave a sidelong glance in the long grass that her companion had taken cover in, just to make sure he was okay, and continued to approach the possible enemy up ahead. That was when a strange burst of movement was made from the man, flying through some hand seals as… paper started to flutter around him. It looked like paper at least, she may be wrong, but the rustling sounds told her otherwise. The paper began to form a large bird, looking like a lovely origami figure from this distance. As she had gotten closer, the ebony-haired Jounin could see a smaller figure alongside the taller man; giving away the fact that he was there with somebody else.
That, teamed with the fact that he was able to use paper Ninjutsu, confirmed in the young woman’s mind that this wasn’t the man she was looking for. Even so, he could be looking for Kaguya Aibori; that was always a possibility. The strange bird started to flap its wings after its creator boarded its back, and Kimiko swiftly leapt into the mixture of long grass and shrubbery, taking cover behind a thick-trunked tree. She pressed her back flat to the tree trunk, glancing up slightly to take into account that the leaves were closely packed and would work well at shielding her from prying eyes up above. Either she had hidden herself well, or she was of no interest to the stranger, she wasn’t entirely sure, because he seemed set on focusing his attention on the red-headed kunoichi not far away. The Konoha shinobi glanced up, crouching her body slightly to allow her a better view between the tree branches and leaves so that she could keep up with all the movements that transpired in the area.
The white-haired stranger manipulated more paper at ground-level, surrounding nothing from here, it seemed, as all Kimiko could see was the girl slightly ahead. As the man continued his assault, it became obvious that the ‘girl’ in view was in fact a clone, and the ebony-haired woman hadn’t been able to see the kunoichi herself because she was hidden from view behind a crop of boulders and other natural shields. The bird swooped down and used its beak to pick up the now-unconscious girl, and now that he was closer, she could see how he grinned to himself at the capture. What on earth was this; a free-for-all? She felt very unsure of whether to trust this stranger or not. He may have just taken down a possible ally, or a possible enemy. She wasn’t able to see any form of identification from this distance; all she could see was a headband hung loosely around the man’s neck, not the specifics on the plate that would identify him properly. She narrowed her eyes a little, trying to make her eyesight reach further somehow, but to no avail. She twisted her body to hide at the other side of the tree now, wishing to observe for a little longer before she made any fast reactions, quick judgements or wrong moves.
In such a situation, it was difficult to make the right call, she knew that much. She started to formulate plans in her mind for if this man was indeed an enemy, and liked the odds of her winning a fight if it came down to that. But she wasn’t here to fight strangers; she was here to fight, kill and/ or capture Kaguya Aibori. She didn’t wish to expend un-necessary energy in a mere ‘warm-up’ fight in preparation for the real thing, because she would need to conserve all the chakra possible.
{OOC: I know this is short, but Kimi hasn’t been involved in any interactions yet so it makes it difficult to write for. Just a note, Megs, can you please use a chakra count when using jutsu? Thanks.} |

| Hisoka of the Ryoku Lifting back into their position in the sky, Hisoka and his large paper bird returned to their comfortable hovering height of about 40 meters. Hisoka then remembered the genin that he had left. Might as well go check on the brat. The white haired man rolled his eyes and traveled in the direction where he had left him. Little did he know, the real genin was still back at the small grass village and the one that he had left behind belonged to his target. Holding the red haired girl in his mouth, the large white bird rode the wind slowly and quietly. Meanwhile, the clone of the Ryoku man acted as the eyes on the ground, following the bird's movement and staying in range so as not to disperse. Having the clone allowed him to be able to cover both short range and long range with attacks from the ground as well as attacks from above. Hisoka silently applauded his cleverness with an over-confident smirk. He almost felt sorry for the next poor fucker that got in his way.
If the Kumogakure ninja was here, there were most likely others close by as well; not to mention Aibori Kaguya was most likely tooling around somewhere close. Although Aibori was not necessarily the main objective of Hisoka's mission that did not imply that he had no intention of collecting the bounty. Hisoka still had plenty of fight left in him after dealing with the Kumogakure shinobi. Bringing home a hefty bounty would mean more to brag about. Also, Hisoka would get the opportunity to kill a Kaguya first hand - something he had been dying to do for a long time. He craved the adrenaline high that a challenge provided like a drug. He craved to prove that he was more than capable of taking down any threat in his path.
Hisoka’s paper clone moved quickly but quietly through the terrain, keeping its golden demon-like eyes peeled on the environment around him; senses crawling with definition, trying to pick up even the slightest abnormality. Meanwhile, the actual Hisoka observed the grounds below in detail with the help of his Range Finder, trying to pick up on anything out of the ordinary. Hisoka did not know it, but by returning to the genin, he was getting closer to Aibori.
The clone pushed through some tall grass before stepping into the shaded clearing where he had left the genin. Of course, the genius was still standing in the exact same place that he was when Hisoka had left. This kid was obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed. Hisoka’s clone raised his eyebrows, mocking the boy with disappointment and judgment as he approached him. “What are you still doing here? You get too scared and decide to hide out? Some shinobi you are. How about you actually make yourself useful and help me find this pussy Kaguya. You got any ideas on where to look first, genius?”

| [OOC: As I don't want to break the posting order or just completely disregard the event, I will be posting about her unconsciousness state until otherwise decided.]
There was a blue light at the end of the tunnel.
Perhaps it would be weird to call it a tunnel, but what else was there to be used? Am I dead? Everything was pitch black around Kirima, except for that faint blue light which was drawing her towards it like a moth was being drawn to a porch light. Warmth was seeping into her stiff limbs and entering her mind the closer she floated towards the light, and yet Kirima felt hesitant to go any closer. After all, she knew what warmth and a blue light meant. Blue fire. And who else used that except well, herself; and then the Nibi.
Why is she opening up for communication now?
Carefully the girl reached her mind out towards the light in order to see if something would happen. But there was only silence. She couldn't even feel like there was any life at all within that blue light.
So perhaps I -am- dead?
It felt like hours that she had been floating around in the darkness, slowly inching closer and closer towards that light. It was giving promises of comfort from the dark and the cold that was trying to bury itself into her body and lodge itself into her bones to seep at her energy. And completely against her will, the girl wanted to go closer to that blue light. She wanted to embrace it, feel it in her hands, feel it in her mind; become one with it. And as she thought that, so did she feel that she was moving a bit faster through the endless darkness. Like her own willpower was pulling her out of there with strong, invisible arms.
Why am I here anyway? What happened?
Last thing she had remembered was pain, and then she was here. If she was unconscious how come she was having this experience? But Kirima didn't really need to be asking that, because she knew who was controlling her and her mind right now. It was a dreadful feeling but she knew it was true. The Nibi was strong, and the cat was cunning. They both knew who was stronger when Kirima had no control over her own body or mind.
I have to wake up.
And to what? Was she perhaps being killed right now as she was floating here? Was her useless shell of a body just laying on the ground, and waiting to be trampled upon by her enemies? It was suffocating the redhead slowly, those endless thoughts and wondering. To not know what was happening outside of her body, to be blind and alone in here... with a monster that certainly wasn't on anyone's side but its own.
The light was starting to become almost blinding, causing the teen to raise her arm up in order to shield her eyes with a small grimace. The light seemed so lively, so warm and so beautiful; and yet there was still no connection. Is she going to just leave me hanging here? Literally? What was the Nibi doing, if she wasn't paying attention to Kirima? The thought that perhaps the cat was paying more attention to what was happening outside of it's jail made Kirima bite lightly on her lower lip while a small pang of hope sprang forth in her chest. The feline creature knew that in order to keep its existence in this world, it would have to look out for Kirima since she was basically its lifeline. Does that mean I am saved for now? Or even more screwed? For all she knew, the Nibi might find someone else she liked more and could get herself pulled out of Kirima.
And that did not bode well for the teen.
I must know what she's doing. What she's thinking. Forcing herself to stare at the light while moving closer to it, Kirima doubled up the force of her mind probing at the light. She could almost see the bars now, the huge bars which kept the beast at bay. But there were no eyes watching her, nor was there any answer to her call. But the Nibi was mistaken if she thought that Kirima would simply give up like that. |

| Kimiko kept herself well-hidden, also monitoring her breathing to ensure that it was undetectable. She was rather satisfied with her hiding place, and judging by the fact that she had not yet been found, it was proving to be rather successful. She followed the clone around the area as it seemed to be searching for something, or rather, someone, of that she was sure. It reached the clearing that was literally only a few feet away from the ebony-haired Jounin, and approached the child. The clone didn’t hesitate to become abusive towards the child, who was more than likely his accomplice.
From here, the Konoha kunoichi started to evaluate her options again. She would have a very clear shot if she chose to destroy the clone and assault the child, and because of the way the clone interacted with the child, she decided to follow this course of action. It may give away her position, but she was sure that she could live with that much. If worse came to worst, she could use the long grass as cover to hide elsewhere in the area, after all. She channelled Fuuton chakra into her palms and created two blades of wind, one meant for the clone and the child. If the kid was any true shinobi, this wouldn’t kill him, and if it did… she would possibly feel remorse for a second or so before getting over it. She had a mission to do, and she shouldn’t be getting attached to anyone, let alone a possible enemy. She fired the two wind blades, both barrelling clean and true at their targets. She knew that this jutsu easily sliced through Kage Bunshin, so she was rather confident that the clone would be sliced, unless it was withheld by the caster currently flying about on his paper bird.
As for the child, she really wasn’t sure what would happen there. She averted her gaze briefly and dropped into the long grass, crawling through it to the next tree, hands over her head and keeping her body low to the ground to avoid being seen. Because of the leaves above her, she was hoping that the man up above wouldn’t see her, even if he had seen her attack only moments ago. His attention would perhaps be focused on the original tree, as opposed to the one she had just reached. She sat at the base of it, pressing her back against it and pushing herself up, peering around the side to examine what had been done with her earlier jutsu.
Little did she know, of course, that the child was actually a water manifestation of sorts, and probably would have taken the hit head on as it didn’t seem to have the ability to move.

| What was unfolding before him didn’t seem to surprise Aibori. As his water manifestation of the Kirigakure Genin he had replicated watched as its Jounin superior bailed out on him to get a better view of the landscape, he knew chaos would surely ensue. With so many of the Great Nations shinobi gathered here Aibori knew that they would not be able to coexist. How right he would be. As Aibori and his clone observed from the distances they were at, the Kirigakure Jounin was manifested paper from his body which took the form of a large bird which he then rode into the sky. Paper Release wasn’t a challenge Aibori had faced before but he was confident it wouldn’t be too much of a problem. As he absorbed all the information possible about his fellow countrymen.
Before long the Jounin had spotted something that intrigued them, creating a clone which leapt from the bird high in the air as the Jounin himself swooped down on his giant featherless bird in an attempt to attack assumingly somebody. Was it one of the Kaguya’s subordinates? Surely not, the elite group that he had assembled would not allow their positions to be so easily noticed. Or was Aibori underestimating this Jounin’s ability. Moments later, the bird resurfaced and Aibori had a visual once more. Squinting in an attempt to focus he noticed the bird carrying an extra passenger, and it wasn’t the clone. In the birds mouth was a head of red hair. The Kaguya’s messenger noted the Kumogakure shinobi had signature red locks. Was this the kunoichi of the Cloud village that the Mist shinobi had so easily immobilized? Perhaps she was not as special as Aibori had hoped. He wasn't sure whether or not to be insulted by the lack of talent that had seemed to have been sent to collect this bounty on his head. This ninja of Kumogakure had been taken out without Aibori lifting a finger and if the Genin Aibori had taken out earlier was any sign of the product coming from Kirigakure these days, Aibori was severely disappointed.
The Kiri Jounin’s clone had met back up with who they had assumed was their Genin comrade. If Aibori had any sense of humour it may have amused him that the two ‘clones’ were interacting without any actual physical being present, but amusement wasn’t an emotion Aibori knew how to feel. The situation was very serious and Aibori stood ready to strike down everybody before him, truly believing that the showing of his opposition thus far solidified him as the indisputable victor.
As good as Aibori may have been he could still get caught off guard like anybody else and while he was so focused on what the Kirigakure ninja was doing he forgot about the Konohagakure shinobi. Aibori remained hidden but the two ninja from the Leaf village had spotted who they would believe to be the two Kirigakure shinobi and as far as Aibori could tell neither his copy of the Genin nor the Jounin’s clone had noticed the ambush that was about to occur. Fuuton chakra stirred around the Leaf kunoichi’s hands, she appears to be young but of Jounin rank. Her Genin flanked her, remaining a considerable enough distance behind waiting for instructions. Aibori had to think fast, it was about to be revealed that the Kirigakure Genin wasn’t the Kirigakure Genin after all.
The kunoichis blades of wind were direct and fell directly to purpose. As the Aibori’s manifestation of the Genin clone turned around due to the commotion it was too late, the blade of wind struck true and the perfect replica was soon nothing more than a small pile of water, being absorbed into the Earth. As all this transpired, Aibori would counter knowing that things were about to escalate it was time to for him to enter the battlefield. The Kaguya would draw out one of his shuriken. His middle finger would loop through the hole of the throwing star while he gripped it the projectile carefully. Utilizing his speed, Aibori darted out from his cover and lunged at the Konohagakure Genin who stood approximately ten to fifteen metres from their leader. As Aibori’s left hand would slip around the boy’s torso and left arm, pinning it to his body the Nukenin would stand to the right of the boy utilizing his hips to pin the boys remaining arm to his sides. Most of his body would be covered by the Genin’s figure as his right arm was raised with the shuriken in hand pressing against the front of the Genin’s vulnerable neck. It wouldn’t even take him a second to cut the lads jugular and paint the countries flora in red, leaving him to bleed out in the grass. Surely his superior would be cautious to proceed, Konohagakure ninja valued their comrade’s lives, so it was the Kirigakure shinobi Aibori was interested in. No words were necessary, he didn’t feel the need to explain to them what the situation was. He felt as if it was more than obvious what would happen if anybody attempted to advance.
Check.

| Hisoka of the Ryoku Before Hisoka's clone could wait impatiently for the genin to answer he heard a deep hum of torrential air collecting behind him. The brush rustled violently in reaction. This was no ordinary breeze that was blowing through. No, this had to be something dangerous. Did the coward of a Kaguya finally decide to throw an attack? Or was this yet another shinobi looking for his bounty? The clone, not really caring what happened to the genin, made no conscious effort to protect him. He hoped that he was at least smart enough to dodge whatever it was that was coming their way. If not, he wasn't worthy of carrying the title of Kirigakure shinobi in the first place. The paper clone, being faster even then its owner, reacted quickly to the threat. Jumping into a tree to his left the clone barely evaded the attack. He landed in a crouched position on one of branches as the wind blade that was supposed to hit him went barreling through the tall grass and into a tree. The clone briefly glanced at the genin to see what had become of him. The wind attack had sliced through the fake genin before it dispersed into water. A fake? Damnit! How did I miss that?! Hisoka scowled. He didn't have time to think about the genin now. He had a much more important matter on his hands now.
When the attack was fired through the tall grass, its destructive power heavily disturbed the surrounding plant life leaving an obvious imprint of where it had come from. The shinobi in the shadows had just given themselves away. Now that he knew where to look, Hisoka could spot subtle movement through the thinnest part of leaves that covered the path that they were traveling - the area between the two trees that they were moving between. He could only have done this with the help of his Range Finder that allowed him to see incredible detail from far distances. The battle hungry grin that defined the Ryoku stretched across his face. "You're mine now, bitch," the real Hisoka muttered from his areal position as he and his bird continued to circle the fight, keeping an eye on what went on below.
Effects from the wind attack caused the surrounding plant life to rustle and crack. The tree that had been in the wind blade's path bellowed a deep crack before falling to the ground. Hisoka's clone used the noise of the surrounding environment to cover any brief noises of his movement from the tree that he was on to the one a few meters ahead of him which was in the general direction that the real Hisoka had spotted the person moving. The moment that the clone had chosen to move was not long after the wind blade had been fired and therefore the attacker would have been looking away briefly in preparation to change locations. He moved carefully keeping his footsteps extremely light and making sure not to disturb the environment around him as to keep from warning his enemy of where he was. A surprise attack is the best way to get the upper hand in the beginning of a battle. Because the clone was made up completely of paper, it was much lighter than the average human, making moving quickly and quietly much easier. From his position in the trees, he hoped that he could better see where exactly the cowardly kunoichi was headed in the tall grass. However, as he looked down, he realized that this tree was in fact where they were heading. The clone was crouched on a branch only about 12 meters above his target - just far enough away so as not to be noticed but just close enough to do some damage. However, his target was not the white haired Kaguya that he was expecting but rather a raven haired female kunoichi from the leaf village.
The clone kept itself hidden in the shadows of the tree. "This turned out to be quite the party." The real Hisoka muttered arrogant words from his position in the sky, almost laughing to himself about how predictable it all was. "Inoshi was right. Guess I'll have to finish them all off." The 34 explosive tags that made up Hisoka's clone quickly peeled away, layer by layer, until all that remained was a collection of explosive seals now at Hisoka's disposal.
In less than a second, 25 of the 34 the explosive notes would be inches away from the girl below - allowing no time for hand seals or even a reaction other than a sudden gasp, a surprised look, a moment of realization. The remaining 9 explosive notes would travel back up to Hisoka atop his bird so that they would not get caught in the blast and he would still have access to some of his explosive notes. 20 of the 25 explosive notes would surround her directly, trapping her against the tree that she once thought of as safe, while the remaining 5 would create an evenly spaced barricade about 3 feet away from her and the other tags, covering every base of escape. Hisoka was not the kind to feel remorse for taking the life of an enemy. He was a solider, a shinobi. He had killed and watched others be killed too many times to remember what remorse really felt like. However, that didn't stop his conscience from trying to justify his actions. It was her choice. She had thrown the first attack. And now she was going to pay for it. Since only 3 explosive notes could be detonated at a time, Hisoka had to choose wisely. The moment that the tags were in place 2 of the 5 on the outside and 1 of the 20 only inches away from her detonated. This would create the desired chain effect of explosions that Hisoka planned for. The additional 5 tags on the outside were more of insurance than anything else. 20 explosive tags were enough to obliterate a human body. If Kimiko were able to somehow dodge the paper and find a way out, Hisoka would not detonate the explosive tags and instead plot a different move.
The seated position that she was in when the attack had originally ensued would make it much more difficult for her to react with much haste. If the attack was indeed a success, she would be extremely lucky to be alive, let alone in one piece. "That's what you get for fucking with Hisoka Ryoku, little whore."
Hisoka noticed a man with long white hair dart from the brush, grabbing the genin that was some distance away from the Konoha jounin. Hisoka instantly recognized the signature markings and long white hair of the Kaguya. The slinky bastard had finally shown himself.

| "Finally you're here."
Finally? A slight shiver, like cold water running down her back, made Kirima shudder as she was presented by that powerful.. ancient sounding voice. During what had seemed like hours, Kirima had finally gotten to the bright blue light that had been her -flashlight of guidance' through the dark. It had been like moving through a thick pudding of never ending black, but her limbs did not ache nor shake. Maybe because she was stuck within her own mind? And as she had suspected, she was standing right in front of the huge prison bars which held the Beast at bay. All she could really see was a constant blue glow, and if she looked really closely she could make out the outlines of the huge creature from within the shadows. Strangely, she felt less scared and anxious than before. Am I growing more comfortable with this, or am I simply over confident? Either way, she was here now...
"What do you mean finally? Was I supposed to meet you again earlier? Have I neglected my training as a whole when it comes to our ... agreement?"
What exactly did the Demon Cat mean with her statement? Kirima's mind was buzzing with questions, while she also wondered if she had been wasting time by not training more vigorously in -this- area of expertise. All she really knew was that she wasn't supposed to take things too fast, according to sources... but how did she know when she was taking them too slow? Have I been just growing weak with each passing day? She could still remember the confusion and fear, along with the anger and strength, from when she had last confronted the Nibi and gained her first tail. When she had almost gotten Kaze killed... when she almost got consumed by the darkness... But I have become stronger. I must keep stepping forward.
"Easy on over thinking it, fire-head. I simply meant it took you a while to get to this point of your mind after being so ... easily knocked out. It was rather entertaining to observe."
Was it possible to blush furiously from shame within the borders of your own mind? Apparently so. It stung how easily she had been over-powered, but she also wondered how that had happened in the first place. With a ..well guard cat so to say living inside of her. Did I overestimate how much she wants to keep me alive? That was an alarming thought. Very alarming. For all she knew, this could be some part of a puzzle for the Nibi. A plan that had been set in stone without Kirima so much as suspecting anything. Not that she could even guess when that kind of plotting could have happened.
"Why don't you just ask? It's kind of annoying to have you standing there with that stupid expression on your face, like you are desperately trying to think too hard."
Yet again, the young teen turned red; but this time it was from pure anger. Who the heck did that over sized mammal think it was? Kirima didn't care if she was a powerful beast that one should fear and respect, at this moment she only wanted to do an honest attempt to throttle the being behind the bars.
"Well then. How come you didn't protect me? You completely failed in your part of our contract didn't you?"
"Contract? Don't make me laugh." Kirima could almost feel the demon roll its eyes at her, even if the shadow still hadn't moved at all to indicate that the creature was a part of the conversation in the first place. "Seeing that I am the only one thinking here, how about you just calm down and let me deal with this situation. I didn't do anything because I -knew- you weren't in any real danger. Even if I can't completely figure out why that man has taken you captive, then I can't find it in me to act out just yet. Perhaps I am simply bored with how slow things have been...and perhaps I am also driven by curiosity."
Great, I'm at the mercy of an arrogant cat that's driven by boredom, and a random stranger that might just as well be a fucking creep.
"How exactly do you know that he wont, you know ... try to take you out..of me?" Wow that felt weird to say out-loud. There was something greatly disturbing about the deep chuckle that followed the question. The Nibi had a -very- powerful voice, even if she always seemed to barely even bother to speak loudly or try to sound intimidating at all. I guess that's what size, age and arrogance get you. The chuckle rumbled throughout the cave and made Kirima almost want to hold her ears, as if that could actually protect her from the immense power that was before her.
"Don't overexert your pretty little head. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Consider this a step two to your training."
That didn't sound comforting at all. |

| As she stood with her back to the new tree, she carefully moved her head round to the side to inspect the area that her earlier blades of wind had been sent for an attack. What surprised her was that… nothing was there. The clearing was empty; the clone wasn’t there, and even more worryingly neither was the child. Surely they didn’t have a chance of escaping, especially not the child at least. She frowned to herself; something was up. There would have been a tell-tale sign if she had hit both her targets. Because of the clone’s nature, being made up out of paper (she had seen that much when the poor red-headed girl was knocked out), she should have heard slicing, especially with her slightly more advanced hearing. That immediately put her on high alert, and she pushed herself away from the tree, albeit slightly, awaiting any movements around her. She was aware that the real shinobi was up above on that bird of his, and he might have caught sight of her by now by some quirk of fate. In spite of not knowing which direction an attack could come from, she was ready.
Kimiko thought she heard the rustling of paper above her, but put it down to the wilderness and the grass rustling in the slight breeze. As such, she was rather surprised when a great number of tags surrounded her. On closer inspection, they weren’t just harmless pieces of paper; they were explosive, every one.
She didn’t panic. If she panicked, she would lose all direction and act rashly. She stood entirely still, eyes fixed on the explosive tags that surrounded her. Any big jutsu at present would be a mistake; not only would it waste time, but it would cause even more disruption and possibly cause a mess. She wasn’t particularly worried about the explosions themselves, because any kind of fire that touched her skin was something she couldn’t feel. Many years of training hard in the arts of her Katon Ninjutsu gifted her with immunity to fire in many cases, as long as the fire wasn’t of a higher rank than her. Normal fires, like ones created from explosions or typical heat sources, didn’t affect her. She couldn’t just stand there and leave it all to chance, however, because the force of the explosions would prove to be a problem. And besides, she would reveal one of her favourite party tricks far too soon.
She was aware of numerous defensive Doton Ninjutsu she could use as a shield, but it would take too long. But she knew of one quick jutsu that would allow her to avoid the explosions entirely, and she took that route above the others that presented themselves. She made the few required hand seals and sunk down below the ground, everything from above being blocked out as she had brought herself to safety. Down here, she could stay hidden for as long as needed, and even move around so that her location couldn't be pinpointed. It would take a lot of fire power to unearth the entire area, and that was her playing field while using this technique.

| After much discussion with various staff members and MsMoney it's time to finally put down the verdict of what transpired in this mission.
Kimiko and Hisoka could not get on the same page from the get go and ended up fighting amongst themselves as well as Aibori. After Aibori killed the Genin that accompanied Kimiko (Aries' old character) a lengthy three-way fight ensued. Aibori managed to escape during a moment where both opponents were more focused on each other rather than him. Once Aibori had escaped, Kimiko made her exit as well. Pulling Konoha out of the hunt, ultimately failing the mission. Hisoka would then attempt to look for Aibori for another hour or so, heading back to the village only to realize it had been completely cleared out by Aibori's men. Hisoka would start heading back to Kirigakure with Kirima still in his custody. |
