| Yoroi Kaguya | | | On his way back home from Kumogakure no sato, he could not help but feel incredibly disappointed in his experiences. Sure, he had met with several massive creatures in some kind of hidden grove near the village, he had collected a lot of seed and plant samples he could use to grow his own with back home, spreading their numbers beyond the lightning country, rather then condemning it to slowly go extinct. Yoroi knew that some of these plants had medicinal purposes, others having poisonous properties that would be well worth exploring when he had the time to do such a thing. He was not much of a medical shinobi just yet, though he really wished to explore that field more and more as time passed. It was his wish to become stronger then the other Shinobi in the fire country, becoming wiser and smarter then all of them so people would look up to him and be afraid of him, leaving him to himself in the woods. There were but a few people he wanted to have close to him, these people being so diverse in number that he could count them on two fingers.
Through it all, he started missing people like Kimiko and Viera, having had little to no social interaction with anyone in the land of lightning. They were among the only people he truly enjoyed being with, Kimiko being like an older sister while Viera was more like a younger sister to him, being the family he never had. Sure, he had met some people, though none of them seemed very welcoming or willing to talk for more then five seconds. He was a stranger in their lands, something he understood very well as a hermit that had set up his camp in the woods close to Konohagakure no sato. He missed his little home quite a bit, only speeding up his feet and getting closer and closer to home with each step he took. There was really no time for him to waste looking back at all, having to get back home so he could plant his seedlings before they withered from the heat in his pockets or the cold air from the snow country he had to pass through. Shakreido was slithering by his side, still digesting some of the rabbits it had caught in the lightning country.
Having taken up a good deal of heat to warm his blood, it was about time for the two of them to make their way through the snow and ice yet again. They were both conserving body heat and energy for the long march through the tundra, pushing through the snow and getting home as soon as possible. Leaving the hot lightning country for the wintery wasteland of the lands of snow, he sent Shakreido underground. Closing his cloak and putting on his hood, he wanted to make sure that the harsh environment would not get the better of him like it did when he first passed through the land. In hindsight, his trip to the land of lightning had not been very helpful for him at all, for the only thing he had managed to get out of it was a pocketful of names some actual pockets full of seeds and plants that were considered to be rare to the people of Kumogakure.

| Yoroi Kaguya | | | Very much to his surprise, the land of snow was incredibly calm and peaceful while strolling through it this time. On his way to the lightning country, the harsh winds and sharp blizzards had been raging so hard that they almost buried him under several feet worth of snow. In hind sight, maybe he should have taken it as a sign as to not go to the land of lightning. The things he had done there had been a fun experience, though there had not been much of a learning experience going on for him at all. Pacing through the snow, he was all alone for the time being, at least until he got to get out of this rotten country that had so little to offer to him. Had it been up to him, the entire place was to be burned so frequently that there would be no room for the snow to fall, hating it more then he could possible describe with mere words or gestures. With a look in his eyes that could kill, he just kept on walking for as long as he needed.
It came to mind that he was probably being overly negative for spending so much time in the god damn snow, trying to bring his mind to sum up some of the good things that had come to happen to him when travelling across the lightning and snow countries. When he thought about it, he had learned how to become better at tracking and navigating, he had gotten to converse with people that stood far out of his comfort zone, even getting a couple of bags full of seeds and rare plant specimens he was going to plant right outside of his little forest home. There was no doubt in his mind that with these things, he would be more then capable of helping Kimiko and Viera out, knowing full well that the rare healing herbs would be able to help a lot of people in the fire country, while the rare venomous plants could most certainly help out Konoha’s shinobi by devising powerful poisons.
The way he saw things, there was no point in conserving his strength nor his energy any longer, starting to run through the snow as fast as his legs could carry him. Yoroi wanted to see Kimiko and Viera again so bad that his body felt hot, even though the snow and the cold winds were not very warm at all. It was illogical, though the warmth he felt when thinking about his friends, the people he considered to be his family was greater then that which his fur cloak could grant him. This kind of talk had always seemed like some stupid kind of fairy tale, though to experience such a thing for himself was way better then any bed time story. Dashing through the snow, he knew that the land of fire was only mere hours away now.

| Yoroi Kaguya | | | Several hours later, Yoroi finally stepped out of the bloody annoying snow that kept clinging to his fur clothing and boots. The hatred he felt towards the snow was so terrible that the snow almost melted right off of him the moment it hit him, though his anger passed away the moment he something up in the distance. Spotting a bird laying under a pile of snow, he figured it would have already died as a result of the cold. Stepping towards it, he figured he could just cook it up once he could find some dry logs, some flint and some tinder to burn it with. To his shock, the bird was still moving once he put his warm hands around it. Preparing to break it’s neck, the falcon looked him into the eyes with fierce determination, something Yoroi could respect more then anything else. He could tell by the look in it’s eyes that this creature was a loner and a fighter just like him.
Taking a piece of dry roasted meat from one of his many satchels, he fed some to the creature, hoping that it would like it. After looking at it with a somewhat stupid look, the bird put it’s beak into the meat and started to slowly devour it. At first, the falcon ate rather slowly, though he was slowly regaining more and more of it’s strength while doing so. Eating more and more of Yoroi’s rations, he himself figured that he would not miss it much at all now that he was so close to his home. From what Yoroi could tell with his limited amount of medical knowledge, the bird had just been deprived of food and water as a result of staying in the land of snow for too long. Therefore, he figured that this falcon probably hated the country just as much as he did, pressing on towards the land of fire with the bird still in his hands. Due to the lack of a name, he just called the peregrine falcon “Kaien” .
It made him wonder if the bird wanted to stay with him and Shakreido if it managed to get better soon. It would be a big adjustment for Shakreido if a bird was going to join the two of them, snakes and falcons generally not being the best of friends. Still, if Kaien was going to stay with Yoroi, Shakreido and Kaien just had to get used to one another, though nothing was sure yet. Taking the bird and putting it inside of his coat, he fed it a last piece of meat to digest before he would trick the bird into thinking that night had fallen. Animals were generally stupid enough to believe that if all they saw was darkness that night had suddenly fallen. It threw of their senses, just like it did for Kaien, swiftly putting him to sleep in the safety of Yoroi’s fur coat. Because the young hermit had put so much focus on the bird, he had not even noticed Shakreido, nor the tall trees that meant but one thing, welcome to the land of fire.
Finally he had made it back into the country of fire. Having Shakreido by his side and a still weak Kaien resting under his fur cloak, the trip to the lightning country had gotten him another animal friend on top of the large amount of vegetation he had to start planting once he got back to his camp on the graveyard mountain. When he thought about it, he was not even sure if the place was still intact. If it was not, he would just have to fix the damage that had been done to it, though he was not the least bit worried about it. With his bird and his snake friend, he felt strong enough to take on the entire world.
