His eyes hold a blood red hue that seems to eat light that shines into them rather then reflecting it off as normal peoples do and seem to give off an eerie glow in the night or in dark places. The shadows seem to roll off of his cloak and follow him where he goes sliding across the walls in his wake and leaping out where they should not. His perfect smile is only another attribute to his menacing form showing teeth that never seem quite right with fangs sticking out from his lips as he grins. He always wears a smile that never seems to hold mirth or touch his eyes and completely betrays his seemingly calm nature. The only times his eyes show a real emotion is when he is truly enjoying himself
The cloak he wears is black with red embroidery that never seems to stay in the same place. His ears are set back a little farther on his head and end in a crisp point. His hair is semi-long and flows strait and never seems to be affected by the wind at all, or rather always is affected by the wind when there is none present. It hangs strait but always seems to wave as the light changes and the red streaks shift and melt away or reappear. There is a tattoo that can be hidden depending on how his hair that is placed on his forehead. It is suspected to be a seal of some sort because of its appearance. It seems to be like moving water and never seems to stay the same color or shade as if watching the rolling of waves.
Personality: This man has a very strange personality depending on the times at which you catch him. most often he is cold to those he does not know and he rarely shows mirth but rather meets everything with a seemingly harsh logic. to those he does know he can be quite friendly and smooth of tongue, often throwing a quick compliment or a critic depending on the situation. he has a rather short temper and will be quick to resort to violence. there are many times where he will be carefree and quite happy even though it would be odd, and is most often in this mood during a time of combat or shortly before or after.
he loves a good fight and will often times go out of his way to get one. he will be calm about an opponent, sizing them up carefully in his mind to see where the true advantage lies, and will often choose himself as the lesser combatant. He loves a chalange and will often times give himself some sort of handicap if it is needed for a good fight. he will be civil and usually announce himself to an opponent who is not already aware of his presense.

Name: Soldiers Endurance Rank: E-S Type: Taijutsu Element:None Description:Pushing on in spite of all odds is what makes the Ashigaru the true blooded warriors they are. Hours upon hours of battling in formation, and charging enemies lines, has ingrained in them a die hard attitude and endurance far beyond normal capabilities. While this ability does not allow them to heal actual damage, the use of this ability still gives them the energy to fight on when other soldiers would have grown far to tired to even lift their blade in defense. Depending on how much chakra is spent, the effects are varried. D rank chakra: Restores all lost energy due to fatigue or exhastion. This allows them to march all day, and still be fresh and ready for immediate battle. This same amount of chakra can simulate a full night of sleep, however the effect will only last for a few hours. Using it again can allow for this clan to march their army for days straight without resting. C rank chakra: By releasing more chakra the Ashigaru is able to numb the pain coming from wounds recieved in battle. While it will not truly heal, it will allow th ashigaru to fight on, inspite of the pain. B rank chakra: By releasing more chakra still, the ashigaru further tends to their wounds. Bleeding will stop, as well as the pain the soldier is feeling. They will be able to fight on no matter how baddly they are injured. A rank Chakra: By releasing yet more chakra than before, the Ashigaru is able to physical heal small wound. Contusion and abrasions that can not be concidered deep wounds will fade conciderably. Bleeding will cease and all the pain from battle will vanish. This allows the leaders, lieutenants, and battalion captains to lead their troops no matter how damaged they have become. This is how heros are made, and where the tales of their dead warriors come from. S rank Chakra: Like A rank, this will mend minor wounds and bruises, however this will also cause a small portion of wounds to truly be healed. All the effects felt by the previous use of this still take effect, however the Ashigaru will also be able to heal up to a C ranked injury. Use of this ability is somewhat dangeorus as it can lead to excessive injury once the battle is over. Immediate medical attention is sugested as ignoring your wounds can lead to death, or extreme injury.

By expending an amount of chakra, the shinobi is pushes it out into their muscles and joints to make them more flexible and faster. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination.

Name: Ayatsuito no Jutsu - String Reeling Technique Type: supplementary Rank: E Element: none Description: Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing wire. This string can be used in rappeling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent. The Uchiha clan also utilizes the wire in their Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi technique. The wire allows the clan member to pin down an opponent, and then unleash a torrent of fire upon them.

With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds.
Name: Kiyomaru (Cleanse) Rank: C Type: medical Element: none Description: It is not always possible for a medical nin to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This technique has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user‟s hands, lower arms, and face. It also insures that any breath that comes from the user‟s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease.
Name: Wound Cleansing Technique Rank: C Type: Medical Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: The Wound Cleansing Technique is a substitute for disinfecting wounds without using medical fluids such as alcohol or any antiseptic liquid. The user simply gathers the significant green shousen chakra to their palm and holds their palm over the selected wound. The wound them cleans up after a few minutes (1-2 posts) depending on the size and depth of the wound. This technique is great for when a medic doesn’t have or is short of supplies. This technique is used in preparation for other medical procedures. As a genin, medics cannot use any healing jutsu to speed up cell division, but most use this in prep. for stitching, wrapping, or anything for the closing the wound. Medical use/Bastardized use: The use of this jutsu is to disinfect a wound without medical fluids of any sort, nor supplies.

With this technique a medical nin temporarily increases their resistance to diseases and poisons. It has no effect on diseases or poisons already affecting the medical nin. Name: Tekishutsu (Extraction) Rank: C-S Type: medical Element: none Description: : When a patient‟s body has a foreign object in it, such as the point of a shuriken, a senbon needle, or an arrow, it is important to remove the object without further harming the patient. Using this technique the medical nin places their hands on either side of the injured area and uses chakra to very carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues in order to remove the object without causing any further damage. Depending on the severity of the wound and nature of the object, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to remove it. Name: Gantai no Jutsu (Bandage Skill) Rank: D Type: medical Element: none Description: Bandages can mean the difference between life and death but unfortunately bandages can run out. Medical nin have learned to make temporary bandages from their surroundings. Objects such as grass, sand, water and many others can be woven together over a wound to create a temporary bandage. The bandage lasts for about five minutes without a supply of chakra from the medical nin.
Name: Sansokyoukyuu (Oxygen Supply) Rank: C-B Type: medical Element: none Description:While it is possible for anyone to do CPR without chakra, this technique is an improvement. By holding their hands over a patient‟s chest a shinobi is able to use chakra to very carefully massage the heart and lungs in to functioning. This technique is not effective if for some reason the air passage is blocked, it does not provide oxygen or blood, only forces air in and out of the lungs and makes the heart continue to beat. A Chuunin is able to perform this technique on two patients at once if the need should arise. This technique requires that patients be unconscious and still before it will work and as such it will not work to disrupt the breathing and heart rate of anyone who is awake
Name: Keksuki Gyouko (Blood Coagulation) Rank: D Type: medical Element: none Description: A simple healing technique. The user uses his chakra on a wound to make the blood there coagulate and stop bleeding. This is primarily used as a preliminary treatment option as it does not close wounds. The bleeding from superficial wounds can easily be stopped but deep wounds can require several minutes to stop. Ranges on severity of wound
Name:Kuchiyose No Jutsu (Summoning Medical Tools) Rank: C Type: medical Element: none Description: This technique allows a medical nin to summon some of the tools of their trade. It is not practical to carry around mortar, pestle, and other tools but a scroll that can be used to summon these and other similar objects is both practical and convenient. A higher ranking nin can use this technique to summon more specialized and advanced tools for poison creation and ninja medicine creation but at this level it is only good for medicine creation.
Name: Kigusuri Souzou (Medicine Creation) Rank: C-S Type: medical Element: none Description: A medical nin has learned to study the effects of various naturally occurring compounds on the human body and how they can be combined in order to create medicine. In spite of increased knowledge of medical techniques there are times when mixing a medicine is the only solution to a problem. Medicine creation has a variety of uses, such as creating poison antidotes, healing ointments, and disease fighting. Medicines can also be used to treat minor every day ailments such as an upset stomach or cold. A Genin using this skill has only rudimentary knowledge and often requires a small guide in order to find and create basic medicines. A Chuunin will know how to prepare a medicine for any normal injury, poison, or disease. Advanced and highly specialized medicines, such as those needed to counter act the negative effects of the Akimichi 3 color pills, require the knowledge of a Jounin who has learned more through experience than could be found in any book.

Name: Formation Yari Quantity: 1 Rank: D Appearance: The formation Yari for the ashigaru clan consists of a 17 foot long pole of laqured and leather bound bamboo. It is strong, ridged, and topped with a foot long metal spike. The spike is a three sided metal blade, who's point is razor sharp and constructed to punch holes through armor and horses alike. Special Abilities/Characteristics: The reach of this weapon makes it ideal for dealing with mounted troops. The bamboo the poles are contructed from is cut into strips, assembled in a tight pole, and bound with long strips of leather. After being carefully laquored the weapon is rendered almost unbreakable. Origin: The Ashigaru clan has a large collection of talented metal workers. Through out the years they have established a massive armory of ancestral weaponry. These weapons are guarded well, cared for, and repaired free of charge to any Ashigaru clan member that is still in good standing with their family. Showing cowardice, or losing a weapon, is sure to get you out of their good graces. Every Ashigaru is issued ONE long Yari. If this weapon is lost, you better find it.
Name: Footman's Yari Quantity: 1 Rank: C Appearance:The Footman's Yari consists of a six foot long staff. The staff is constructed of strips of bamboo formed into a tight shaft, and wrapped with long leather strips. It is then laquored, which renders the weapon almost unbreakable. A long blade is afixed to the end of the staff that can varry from between 1 to 2 feet long. The footman's yari does not have a single thrusting tip. Instead it is topped with a strong double edged blade that can be used for slashing as well as it can be used for piercing armor. The blade has a conciderable tang on the end, which when inserted into the shaft makes it very hard to snap the blade off. Special Abilities/Characteristics: This weapon has impresive reach, but is still light, strong, and perfectly balanced. It is the halmark of the Ashigaru clan and a very deadly tool in their hands. It has no special properties, however all Yari from this clan are made with perfecting expectations. Any weapon with even a minor flaw at creation will be scrapped and it's blade recycled again. This weapon is a fine example of it's kind, and is razor sharp and much harder to break than a regular one. Origin:] The Ashigaru clan has a lrghe collection of talented metal workers. Through out the years they hav established a massive armory of ancesral weapony. These weapons are guarded well, cared for, and repaired for free to any Ashigaru in good standing. The Footman's Yari is the only weapon that is constantly being made new in the clan, as more and more often these spears do not return. When an honorable and heroic Ashigaru dies, this is the only weapon they will be burried with, which draws them out of circulation more than the swords or axes. This spear is he ashigaru's life, and losing it is the largest disgrace an ashigaru can face. Better to be seen a coward, then to lose your spear. An Ashigaru is issued ONE Footman's Yari when they become a soldier.
Name: Fine Throwing Axe Quantity: 4 Rank: D Appearance:This weapon is forged in whole from a single peice of steel. It is well balanced, a little heavy, and has a razor sharp cutting edge. It can be used as a melee weapon in a pinch, but is made to be throw with speed and presicion. This is a heavier and more damaging form of a typical ninja's Kunai, and can be treated just as such Special Abilities/Characteristics: This is just a throwing weapon. It's heavier weight does make it harder to deflect with another smaller thrown weapon, but it is still just a throwing axe. If it hits you in the face, you will likely have a bad day. Origin: The Ashigaru clan has a large collection of talented metal workers. Through out the years they have established a massive armory of ancestral weaponry. These weapons are guarded well, cared for, and repaired free of charge to any Ashigaru clan member that is still in good standing with their family. Showing cowardice, or losing a weapon, is sure to get you out of their good graces. An Ashigaru is issued 4 throwing axes when they are assigned to a company. These may be replaced, but their size makes them relativly easy to collect after a battle has ended. Extra and replacement axes are sold for the value of their metal to Ashigaru soldiers.
Name: Footman's Sword: Katana Quantity: 1 Rank: B Appearance: This is a finely crafted longsword with a graceful curved blade. It is forged of solid steel and folded over and over to give it suprising durribility in spite of it's light design. It is a common weapon among warrios all over the various ninja nations. The Katana of the Ashigaru clan are almost all very old. Ancestral weaponry is issued to the soldier, however is expected to be returned. This weapon is not owned by the Ashigaru Soldier, it is owned by the elders of the clan. The weapons perfect functionality, as well as it's time tested and battle proven edge, make it a lethal and dangerous weapon in the hands of a skilled warrior. This weapon is a fine example of it's kind, and is razor sharp and much harder to break than a regular one. Special Abilities/Characteristics: N/A This is a well made katana of great age, but nothing more. It has no openly magical powers, and can not channel chakra, but the sword is almost unbreakable. It is much lighter and much sharper than even a good quality katana, and is a perfectly crafted weapon. Origin: The Ashigaru clan has a large collection of talented metal workers. Through out the years they have established a massive armory of ancestral weaponry. These weapons are guarded well, cared for, and repaired free of charge to any Ashigaru clan member that is still in good standing with their family. Showing cowardice, or losing a weapon, is sure to get you out of their good graces. Every Ashigaru is issued ONE katana by their squad commanding officer. If this weapon is lost, pity the EX-Soldier.
Name: Ashigaru Chain Tunic Rank: C Type: Armor Natural Abilities: This suit is made from tiny steel links that have been woven together. Each suit is tailored to the wearer and provides a great amount of protection. While the links can be weak on their own, they are light enough to be worn beneath more traditional leather types of armor. It helps greatly in reducing the damage done by slashing of peircing weapons.
Name: Ashigaru War Armor Rank: C Type: Armor Natural Abilities: Ashigaru armor is light. It proctes the vitals from serious injury, while allowing free mobility of arms and legs. Armor from the Ashigaru family has seen countless repairs, however still maintains it's masterful quality. The clan usualy designs it's armor to take the appearance of an oni or an ogre to help instill fear in their enemies. Most soldiers wear a traditional helmet with metal face plate resembling such a beast as well.

The head medic watched as Kuroi pushed himself in both physical training and his medical work. so he had a special sword forged from this material as a gift in replacement for missing in the tournament due to his abilities as a medic.
Name Rope dart/meteor hammer Quantity 2 (one of each) Rank C Appearance These two weapons are very similar, each consists of a long rope ranging from 10 to 25 feet. and each has a metal piece attached to the end, the rope dart has a 5 pound metal dart at the end of it, and the meteor hammer has a 15-20 pound lead weight attached at the end. both have a red ribbon tied around the rope 5 feet away from the weighted end. special abilities none Origin a gift from his trainer in the Ashigaru keep. He noticed that Kuroi Hinode had a talent few a few "odd weapons" so he got some for Kuroi as a simple addition to the ancestral weapons and armor that was given as custom when he left the keep.
[center] Background Information History: Ceremony Kuroi Hinode was born on the day of a solar eclipse. His parents thought this to be a bad omen when the child took its first breaths. As all children, he was dressed in the ancestral warpaint, but for the occasion in a strait black color. As he was laid to rest on the ancient shrine the child quickly found peace and was soon still from his crying, the elders saw promise in this newborn. Those who were present to give his name thought to the solar eclipse and arrived for the name Kuroi Hinode, "black sunrise". "Young child, you are to be a warrior, your meaning to bring death to your enemies and uphold the honor of the Ashigaru" With those words spoken, it was finally time for him to brought before his mother, the woman beamed as her child was brought forth, taking only a short time for the ceremony was filled with a pride in the child she had brought forth.
Childhood Being raised in this group of children rose no problems with the young child. He watched learned and cooperated with the "den mothers" set to take care of them and wass very appreciative. he got along well with these other children, and often times would wrestle with them to test eachothers strength. Boys and girls alike joined in these small frays and those who watched over seemed simply ammused rather then angry, only stopping a match when there was a risk for true harm to one of the children saying "battle scars will come from true battle" he looked up the first time he had heard this saying, not truly knowing its meaning but had began to form a close bond with the cildren of his small group, his "family". He couldn't wait for what was to come, he had heard rumors from the adults talking about promise from the pack he had been raised in, and when they all came of age it would be a glorious training.
His true birthday At the age of five his small family was seperated for another ceremony. At this time he was given his first sword. "Now your life truly begins. At your birth there was a right given to you, and it was to be a warrior. Now is the time to take up that right" Kuroi nodded slowly and bowed and attached the scabbard to his waist and went forward to reunite with his family. The other children came forth with a different veriety of weapons and warpaint across their faces, showing the diversity among the clan, but one that was good, it showed the true strength that they were all able to come together. Before them stood an elderly man, one who stood with such a deadly form that it was known even to the new warriors his capability. "from this day on, you will live as true members of the ashigaru clan." the older men and women who had performed their rites let out a roar of bestial wrath that would striek fear into those who knew such a word. and the young ones quickly joined in
Training Kuroi learned quickly in some areas and lacked in others, to him the katana that was given to him seemed almost natural, and something that seemed off was that he was able to specialize in ranged weaponry as well. this was somewhat odd to the elders training him. he wielded a blade with such alacrity that those around him could not keep up, but fell short with other traditional weaponry, and the array of ranged weapons also surprised those who oversaw his training. This strange boy was able to pick up a bow and mark a target 50 yards down range without any real thought to it, and perform wonderfully with a few of the more strange ranged weapons, ones very rarely used such as the Rope dart and Meteor hammer. It took some time but they eventually began to think that this child might be of the few that have another talent other then weapons, and so took him to the medical branch of the clan. Inside were a few people that did not seem to wish to be there but obviously dealt with it. "ahhh a new possible student for us, this should be interesting" Kuroi looked up at the people and let out a long sigh "but I want to go fight". they merely replied to him "without medics any army will fall, your path is your path" with that they turned and left
medical Kuroi stayed and trained as a medic as he was told, but never stopped going to the fields to practice with his weapons either. he put a large amount of work into both of them although dreading the book work of becoming a medic did so without complaint. he would still be able to wreak havoc on the battle field, and now was merely given a different tool in which to do so. He studied hard and learned the anatomy required and how the human body worked as well as how to manipulate it to do his will in another target. he studied hard and trained hard with his strong suits, the blade that hung at his hip never left even in sleep as it became a part of him, he rarely removed the ranged weapons wrapped about his body unless for training or combat and practiced everyday and often times at night. his main focus remained his weapons but he never slacked in his medical training, advancing quickly as the years went by and was respected both as a warrior and one of great knowledge and medical capabilities
parting It finally came time where Kuroi was contracted with a shinobi village Kirigakure at the age of 9. Those he had trained with had small gifts for him, a seemingly normal katana made of a different material. "this will absorb your chakra's nature and allow you to incorperate it with the blade, how to do so will be yours to find out, its balanced as well so you may use it off hand just as effectivly as strong hand" from his medical teacher who had grown somewhat fond of his young student. and as he left, the man who he spent most of his time training under with his weapons presented him with the traditional ashigaru equipment as well as a few other choice weapons. a Bow and set of finely crafted arrows, as well as the two other ranged weapon Kuroi enjoyed using, a rope dart and meteor hammer. "may these weapons serve you well on the battle field young warrior" with that, he was applied the traditional warpaint of their clan and sent forth to his new home
academy He did not take part in the traditional combat given his unique talents as a medic, and was saddened by this, but he was still chosen to go to an academy, he was trained in their secret jutsu, and took to them quickly given his knowledge of medical jutsu, as well as was able to pic up a few other useful jutsu taught to basic academy students. he was able to learn, shunshin, string reeling, and Bikou Ninjutsu - Shadowing Stealth Technique. in this new home he got along fairly well, and even heard rumors of another from the ashigaru clan here. he was now interested in something that would keep his old roots alive, and someone as drawn to battle as he may be here. he went along with the academy for 4 years until finally he graduated to become a genin.
Role-Play Sample: Kuroi Hinode sighed as the next patient was brought in from the arena, his eyes looked on the combatant with scorn and jealousy. He had not been allowed in the fighting merely on the basis he would be more use for this, cleaning up the messes that their opponents left. As a medic he was not in alot of the fighting, though he wished to be, and was refrained from most of the training. Luckily he was able to find a man willing to teach him at nights after he was done with his book work. But now the task at hand was to prep these who were beaten in combat for treatment, and the wounds were in no way simple to clean. Wounds ranging from large gashes to simple cuts littered the body of the losers and often times just as many as the winners.
He took traditional means to clean them instead of using the simple jutsu that he was taught, taking alcohal and sometimes salt if the wound was bad enough to cleanse and prepare the wound, and often times if there was the time he would stitch them together himself if his teacher was busy. He sighed with a steady hand as he took the needle to the wound that needed them and bandaged the rest that did not. he was not gentle about treating these patients and they knew it, and quite often didnt expect it. There was a pause before the final bout, in which time he was lucky enough to quell the flow of injured and was able to watch this final match from the sideline. he stood watching the two fight, picking out several weak spots in the attacks and defence of either side with a sigh. "both use swords... and neither could come close to matching me... why was I stuck here" he whispered to himself and turned to walk away before seeing the outcome of the match "there are only two left, I will leave them to you sensei... I'm gonna go practice more." He stalked from the room at a steady pace, his teacher knew the dislike of being unable to participate in the tournament but let it go unsaid, he was more use here judging from the wounds the combabtants held, and his teacher feared he would have killed several of his opponents.

| Your sword styles... I believe you should put them in the jutsu template. Something kinda like this -

| they are not jutsu, any person in real life could do them, its simply a reference I use when fighting with a sword to assist in description of what I'm doing. if it would be better for me to remove them altogether I will do so, most sites likes them in the char app though, so I put them in
edit- just removed them for simplicity, its not exactly the kind of sword style you all looking for anyways |
