Clan Name: Shizukana Location: Konoha Signature Traits: Sufuku Fighting Style, Hotokegan. Kekkei Genkai:Hotokegan (Buddha's eye) The Hotokegan is a Doujutsu Kekkei Genkai which has been passed through the generations of the Shizukana clan since the first one reached enlightenment. When Activated the users eyes become a dull shade of black from whites to iris and seem completely featureless. While this Doujutsu does include a profound level of chakra visualization, it does so much more than this. More a deep sense of understanding than actual chakra sight, while the Hotokegan is active the user sees the world as the transcendent Buddha would, not through eyes but through their center, through their heart. They open their perceptions to the whole of the world, and gain a potent sixth sense. This sixth sense gives an effective 'Chakra Sight' out to a range of 50 meters, and allows the users mind to perfectly visualize the chakra where ever it may be located. The sense is not affected by physical matter and can sense through walls, floors, ceilings, and other nouns which may block normal vision. So keen is the users chakra 'sight' that they are able to pick out the individual tenketsu within the human chakra network of those very close to them, and watch as chakra travels through it with each motion and each fleeting thought. This sort of sight brings with it many benefits, though they can be easily summarized as two different manifestations of the Doujutsu. Each one is active whenever the Hotokegan is active, and serves to give the Shizukana a huge edge in any manner of hand to hand combat, even against their unofficial Hyuuga rivals.
The first manifestation of this Doujutsu is their chakra sight, which while described as chakra "sight" is actually anything but. Instead this is a strange and powerful sixth sense which was was awoken in the bloodline when the founder reached enlightenment. This sense is so powerful it seems as though the user can see all chakra. It is so precise that it can pinpoint any source of chakra within 50 meters of itself, and can sense through all normal objects, substances, and things which may be blocking normal line of sight. This is a sort of sightless x-ray vision which lets them feel chakra both above and below ground, as well as through walls and through other people. While the precision of the sense is keen, it is only able to sense the finer details of the chakra network at ranges no further than 5 meters and may even detect illness and injury to the chakra network itself. At any range up to the maximum, however, the user is able to sense the chakra's location, it's general strength and capacity, as well as any other anomalies such as demonic chakra, a second chakra source, or other such oddities. Very familiar chakra signatures can be picked out of a crowd, but only very familiar signatures.
The second manifestation comes in a sense of oneness and understanding with the entire universe. The Hotokegan is well named for the preternatural awareness it gives the person, allowing them to sense the build up of chakra within an opponent even as they are forming the attack it will be used with. They can 'watch' the chakra build up in a body and see which limb it is going into and how that limb is moving. This does not give them a truly predictive ability, just the ability to react far quicker to an attack, then another may be able too. Instead of waiting for the external manifestation of an attack as the limb moves, they see the chakra being focused and pushed towards the limb. Because it is still a reactionary ability it does not allow them to move faster than their opponent, but they can move in almost perfect synchronization with them, giving their fights a very choreographed look to the audience. Because of this, the Shizukana are forbidden to ever take a speed modifying jutsu or special characteristic, however they are able to perfectly match the speed and strength of any of their opponents so long as they are not more than 1 rank in skill above the user. This bonus applies only to techniques stemming from use of the Kufuku fighting style practiced by the Shizukana. This chakra control comes with other benefits, most of which are most noticable when the Kufuku style is pitted against the Juken style. Shizukana have the advantage against Hyuuga because their superb level of chakra control enables them to not only still the flow of chakra in areas paralyzed by Juken, but goes so far as to allow them to completely absorb the chakra used to stun tenketsu points. In doing so the user is able to slowly repair their own chakra network and continue on fighting. This Doujutsu requires 2 chakra each post to keep active.
History: Often disparaged as the Kyuketsuki, literaly the Vampire clan, the Shizukana are far from those monsters of myth and dream. Literally the Tranquil, the Shizukana would be renowned for their stillness and virtue if they were not such a small and relatively unknown clan. Instead very little is known about this clan. Scholarly speculation proposes that this clan is related to either vampires, the Kami, or the oni. Truth is much stranger than fiction, as this clan was actually founded only two or three hundred years ago by a single man. He was a pious monk who practiced both meditation of mind and perfection of body. He spent most of his life seeking enlightenment, and unlike many others he managed to achieve it. Upon his moment of enlightenment he was struck with a profound understanding of man and nature and the way the entire universe fit together to form a single seamless entity, instead of the perceived mass of unconnected people and trees most of the world saw. Of course the man became something of a prophet, preaching unity and peace to any who would listen, while continuing his own personal quest of inner perfection.
He married and had children and passed on both wisdom and abilities to the new generations. The clan grew, however it never over grew, only reaching a number of about 15 at any given time. This included, typically, the 2 eldest of the clan, their children, their grand children, and a small litter of toddler great grandchildren all learning the same teachings in the same methods passed down from the enlightened monk. This included a particular form of mobile meditation which drew upon the powerful inner forces to bring health and wellness to body and mind. Shinobi nations were quick to spot potential within the clan, and in time they began to recruit the Shizukana with notions of protecting and doing good. Of course as time passed the levels of enlightenment found within the original monk receded down until the clan was little more than a group of compassionate priestly types more inclined to help and heal than fight and yell. This started off a breif, but great tradition of Shizukana medics who used their particular senses and famous chakra control to stave off injury and root out even the most tenaciously hidden opponent. While most of the clan still understood the precepts of enlightenment, few actively pursued it, and none except the founder ever truly achieved it.
The family became wandering prophets and priests, bringing stories of peace and unity to any who would listen. While the message was a positive one, few ever found the time to truly listen to it. Most went about their lives ignoring the wandering monks(bums) and giving them no ear, or bread. Others, though, always a small number, would hear their message and accept it as truth. There the family often found lodgings and preached in exchange for food and temporary shelter. The family flourished most during its early years when it occupied a small sheep herding community in the midst of the land of Grass. Here they found pastoral people who readily accepted the ideas of peace and contentment. They already enjoyed the idea of having no needs, no desires, to just exist as the world, instead of just a piece of it. The sheep herders already spent most of their time just sitting on the rolling country side watching over sheep as they gnawed on grass.
This natural fit with the country gave the Shizukana a solid footing on which to grow, and grow they did. The generations passed slowly here, but in the blink of an eye. Parents preached to children, and grandparents passed down the sacred meditations, a method of movement, a series of slow and precise movements which assisted in gathering the internal chakra and smoothing it out inside of them. This careful exercise brought the clan longevity and health, but also assisted in the creation and cultivation of their Hotokegan. Inherited by the first of the clan, this evidence of their patron's enlightenment gave every member of the clan a powerful and mystical ability which often gave acute credibility to their words. At the same time, however, their black eyes tended to give the superstitious an innate mistrust of the Shizukana and all their nice words. Life was not always easy for the Shizukana, but it was good. As the generations pass the family eventually gave in to more nomadic urges and departed for new sights and new cities.
Arrival in the large city didn't go well at first, though the Shizukana clan adjusted well enough. They took up a familiar practice of preaching, and spoke to others of kindness and acceptance. They advertised their knowledge of grasslands medicine and with their particular abilities they managed to heal quite well. Teaching special breathing techniques and methods of meditation to followers they passed the test well as doctors, and managed to feed themselves well enough in the Land of Fire. Eventually the shinobi forces were able to pick up on the Shizukana usefulness, and began efforts to recruit them into the ranks of Konoha's shinobi force. Only the Hyuuga, a long established clan, seemed to really put up much of a fuss, and again it mostly stemmed from the easy smiles, the pretty words, and the ever black eyes of the Shizukana. The rivalry between Hyuuga and Shizukana became mostly irrelevant as the Hyuuga clan continued it's dominance in Konoha, and the Shizukana dwindled down in numbers to only a small handful of active agents at a time. It took an entire generation to convince the Shizukana to join, but when they did it was as medics. Their natural chakra control made them experts in this feild, but generations passed and children moved on to learn other talents as well.
From medics the Shizukana quickly found their ability to sense chakra in the world around them made them as exceptional scouts as it did medics and soon more often the Shizukana would find themselves beyond the first line, and witness to some of the atrocities of war. This did not dissuade them, and some even brought more active jutsu into their growing and effective fighting style. From that point on the Shizukana became full fledged ninja, accepting any roll on the shinobi force and readily learning from any of the shinobi traditions. Most rare are those Shizukana puppeteers, but they have been seen in history's annals. As they grew in familiarity with the shinobi world they came to understand their own true usefulness as well, and most of the clan abandoned the single role of scout or medic and became roving explorers, willing to both seek out the enemies hiding places, but to do so alone and not fear for being caught. Taijutsu because their focus well over the application of medicine, and the clan managed to perfect their bodies as well as their mind.
Clan Special Characteristic Name: Stillness Rank: C Type: Physical Physical Requirements: Hotokegan Training Requirements: 600 words Description: Instead of focusing on Speed or Strength, this SC focuses on acuity and physical precision. Instead of overpowering enemies or out running them, this SC enables the Kufuku practitioner to move slowly, but with enough efficiency and timing to effectively defend against the attacks of faster and stronger opponents while using the Kufuku fighting style. This skill allows the user to have extremely fine accuracy with their taijutsu attacks. This also enables a user of the Kufuku style to perfectly match the speed and power of any opponent up to one rank above their own, but prevents them from every purchasing any strength or speed increasing Jutsu or Special Characteristics. On top of that, all Shizukana clan members have a -10% penalty to their speed for all movements and actions not stemming from the Kufuku style. Likewise, these shinobi are more prone to walking instead of running, and can come off as being very lazy, or unmotivated.
Clan Fighting Style: Name: Kufuku | the Hungry Fist Style Clan: Shizukana Emphasis: Chakra Theft Requirements: Must have the Hotokegan (Activated). Stillness Special Characteristic. Must know: Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu - Chakra Absorption Technique. Description: The Hungry Fist is an internal fighting style which draws completely away from the concept of dealing damage to their enemies. Practiced exclusively by the Shizukana clan, mastering this style requires a life time dedicated to perfection of mind and body, as well as a passive nature and keen sense of empathy and intuition. With philosophies in the fighting style are rooted deeply in Taoist thought, This fighting style has an acute emphasis on the internal control of chakra to exclusion of almost all other tactics. Relying heavily upon a strong control over their own chakra, masters of this style are able to physically move their chakra throughout their body through force of focus alone. Eventually the Shizukana become so connected to the flowing chakra in their body that they are able to completely open their awareness to the chakra flowing through the universe around them. Because of this, the Shizukana are able to disconnect from their sense of self and form a sort of union with the universe which manifests as the Hotokegan when active. This is the hidden secret of the Shizukana which allows them to feel the chakra within their opponent, and allows them to draw out their opponents chakra with a touch and pull it into their own bodies. This same very advanced level of chakra control allows users of Kufuku to manipulate their own internal chakra in surprising and highly effective ways. This gives them many preternatural abilities which rely on the precise movement of their chakra to alter the hardness of their flesh and their center of balance.
Natural Jutsu: Name: Kufuku Rank: D-S Type: Taijutsu Description: This is the basic fighting style which the Shizukana use to defend themselve and those around them who need defending. Through their perfect control of chakra this style allows for graceful and slow maneuvers which still hold enough force to deflect or block even fast moving assaults. While users of this style are able to force chakra into their extremities to literally add weight to their feet and root themselves in place, the most common application of this fighting style is in making contact with their opponents and directly tapping their own chakra networks to that of their opponent. In doing so, the Kufuku devours a bit chakra out of the area touched and draws it into their own body.
Jutsu D Rank- Spoiler:
Name: Grass in the Storm Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Like grass in a storm, the user of this technique bends with force instead of breaking. By shifting their chakra through out their body, typically concentrating it in a single area, the user of this jutsu is able to drastically alter their center of balance. In doing so a user might force all their chakra into their feet to maintain their balance when bending completely backwards. In effect, application of this jutsu allows the user to maintain their balance so long as a single foot is touching the ground, the ceiling, or any other solid surface, no matter how off balance it seems they should be. This technique can not be used while water walking. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Snake among Reeds Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Able to twist their body into unthinkable configurations, users of this jutsu are able to bend their bodies so fluidly they seem to slither and ooze around their opponents. By shifting and bending and turning around, this technique allows the Shizukana to twist in between multiple limbs or attacks coming from one or more opponents. Even when not using this for defense, when using this technique a Shizukana may bend their joints in any direction except directly against their normal plane of balance, with no ill effects on their body. This gives them an almost rubbery, double jointed ability most skilled contortionists would envy. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Summer Windmill Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Like the motionless arms of a windmill, this jutsu accepts incoming energy and turns it to the user's own advantage. The Kufuku adept will not block an attack, but will instead intercept the attack with a slow and fluid motion. Instead of trying to stop the attack they just gently guide the attack off to one side with a carefully practiced sweep of a limb and twist of their body. This typically sends the attacker following the force of their attack in the direction the Shizukana deflects them into, and the more force applied to the attack, the more exaggerated the off balancing effects of this defense. While the maneuver itself does no physical damage, opponents can often be sent flying after this defense, and slamming into trees and boulders is often quite painful. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Breath of the Earth Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: While neither attack nor defense, this fluid motion of kata combined with meditative breathing forces the Kufuku user into a state of stability and tranquility. This opens both mind and body and allows the user to harvest chakra from the world around them and increase their available chakra. This requires one post of concentrated effort and careful application of a Kufuku kata and costs it's chakra even if interrupted. This is a very slow method to increase their chakra supply, but it is faster than no method at all. Chakra Cost: 3 chakra (User gains 5 chakra)
Name: Two Rivers Merging Rank: D-S Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: A technique strikingly similar to the Chakra Absorption Technique, this jutsu is actually its less invasive and much gentler counterpart. Instead of drawing Chakra away from an opponent, this technique allows the Shizukana to connect their chakra network to another person's. In doing so they drip a steady flow of their own chakra into the other person, assisting in restoring allies who may be near chakra exhaustion. This technique requires steady physical contact between the two for the duration of a whole post, and is typically not something done on the battlefield. Chakra Cost: D - Costs 3 chakra, restores 2 chakra C - Costs 5 chakra, restores 4 chakra B - Costs 8 chakra, restores 6 chakra A - Costs 10 chakra, restores 8 chakra S - Costs 12 chakra, restores 10 chakra
C Rank- Spoiler:
Name: Winter Windmill Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Like the motionless arms of a windmill, this jutsu accepts incoming energy and turns it to the user's own advantage. The Kufuku adept will not block an attack, but will instead intercept the attack with a slow and fluid motion. Instead of trying to stop the attack they just gently guide the attack off to one side with a carefully practiced sweep of a limb and twist of their body. This typically sends the attacker following the force of their attack in the direction the Shizukana deflects them, and the more force applied to the attack, the more exaggerated the off balancing effects of this defense. While the lower level technique merely deflects an attacker away from the Kufuku user, this technique actually draws off chakra used in the attack and siphons it into the user's body. In doing so they are able to steadily deplete their opponents chakra supply and achieve a victory through exhaustion. Such chakra theft is only possible while using the hands to block or deflect an attack, and requires bodily contact(though not skin to skin) with the opponent. Chakra Cost: 6 (steals 4 chakra, Steals 6 chakra if the attack was a chakra fueled taijutsu attack, such as one from the Juken style, however the cost of the jutsu is stolen before any is taken from the attackers chakra pool, which means the attacker may not end up losing any chakra beyond that spent for the attack.)
Name: Foot of the Mountain Stance Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This useful technique of the Shufuku style enables the user to push a great amount of chakra into their feet, and use it in a form similar to the water walking technique. Instead of keeping themselves above the surface of water, however, this technique infuses their chakra into the ground beneath their feet like a strong anchor. In doing so the user assumes a motionless defensive stance and becomes a nearly unmovable object. It takes a huge amount of force to move the Shizukana after they have assumed this stance, however it does render them unable to move anything but their arms, and even then not very quickly. Because of this the Shufuku user is able to withstand huge gusts of wind, water, or other such similar forces without being pushed away, or off their feet. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Tiger Chasing the Wind Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: One of the first truly offensive powers of the Kufuku style, this attack still does no physical damage to their opponent. Instead only gentle contact is required with their opponent, and it provides them a chance to siphon off a small amount of their opponent's chakra. Because this attack is somewhat slow it is somewhat easier for the opponents to evade, however even blocking this technique is next to impossible. Only light contact must be made by the Kufuku user to initiate the chakra transfer, though the opponent must come into contact with skin, or the user's clothes. Very thick articles of clothing such as flak vests and Anbu masks will provide enough space to block the chakra absorption, but only such very thick garments protect against it. Chakra Cost: 6 (steals 5 chakra)
Name: River Breaks the Dam Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: By forcing their chakra through their chakra network, users of Shufuku are able to overpower the effects of the Juken style. Forcing the tenketsu back over and ejecting the chakra from their bodies is a difficult process, however with the use of focus and a the Heaven hand seal(Both hands together, flat as if in prayer) the user is able to restore the flow of chakra in any one limb per use. This means with one use of this jutsu the user could clear the tenketsu in their torso, abdomen, their head, or a single arm or leg and restore it to a healthy flow. OF course, while using this technique the Shizukana may not attack or defend, due to their hands being locked in a seal and mind focused on their own chakra. Chakra Cost: 4
Name: Lion's Mighty Roar Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: The most Ninjutsu like technique of this fighting style, this jutsu actually requires a series of 5 hand seals before application. Once the seals have been made a good amount of chakra is pushed into the diaphragm, the lungs, and the throat, and all serve to greatly multiply the volume and force of their voice. Those within close to medium range of the sound will be nearly deafened by the terrible roaring sound and will feel the earth shake around them. While this technique deals no physical damage it does have two noticeable effects. The first of which is anyone with a sense of hearing within 20 feet will find themselves stunned for the duration of the roar. The second effect is the sheer range of the sound, which enables the user's roar to be heard clearly as far away 10 miles. Of course, no words can be used, just a very loud and bestial roar, like a lion claiming its territory. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Road to Heaven Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: By releasing chakra from their hands or feet, the user of this jutsu is able to literally hang in air for a brief moment in time. This technique does not allow for persistent levitation, and instead gives them a single moment of simulated ground, on which they can stand, or leap from. This technique can not be used while falling, and is instead used most often at the top of a jump, to once more leap forward. Of course, because of the force involved with the Rising Wind technique, it can not be used with the Road to Heaven. Chakra Cost: 5
B Rank- Spoiler:
Name: Arms of the Serpent Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Neither an Attack or a Defense, this technique still siphons off a small amount of the opponents chakra. Only able to be targeted at a single enemy at a time, this technique involves slow and careful motions of the body, and a fluid circulation of the arms. The patterns of movement are paired with the force of chakra which physically moves outside of the body and reaches out towards an opponent that is within 10 meters, and not attacking. With a quasi-genjutsu like effect, this numbs the mind slightly by encasing senses in a bubble of the user's own chakra. This has no effects against most people, however will deny use of Perceptive special characteristics. True to the nature of the Hungry Fist style, the chakra bubble will devour the enemies chakra and cause it to leak out of their body and into the air. Because of the range involved, the chakra stolen from the enemy does not make it back to the user, and instead is simply drained away from the enemy. Of course, the user will have a difficult time in defending or attacking while using this technique, so it's usually only used against those enemies who refuse to attack the Shizukana. Chakra Cost: 10 (Drains 6 chakra from enemy)
Name: The Rising Wind Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: By infusing chakra into their legs and feet, the Shufuku user is able to amplify their jumping abilities to unthinkable levels. Their jump becomes so powerful they can almost vanish from sight among the clouds, but not quite. After leaping a jet of chakra leaving their feet propels them slightly higher up to a maximum height of 300 meters. Of course.. nothing in this technique ensures a safe landing if they proceed to fall from that height. Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Falcon's Fall Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Often paired with the Rising Wind technique, this jutsu enables the user to fall from any distance and survive with little to no damage. A large amount of chakra must be forced into the feet, and when they land they land very hard. The chakra forces all of the energy from the impact out of the body through the feet, and often has devastating effects on the landscape. Should this fall from be over 100 feet, it will cause a large crater on the ground, and shake almost anyone within 20 meters of the impact zone right off their feet. Should this technique land directly on top of another person, the force of impact is truly devastating indeed, and likely to crush the life out of even the most stalwart of shinobi. Chakra Cost: 8
Name: The Scorpion's Sting Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: One of the most aggressive applications of the Skufuku style, this single strike is the most feared weapon in the Shizukana arsenal. With but a single touch the user can cause huge amounts of chakra to be spent by the opponent. The technique involves a quick strike of the hands to any exposed skin, and results in the infusion of a small amount of the Shizukana's chakra into their opponent's body. This chakra does not block the flow of chakra in the body, and instead acts as an opening through which chakra will begin to pour out the moment it is applied. If successful, the enemy will bleed out their chakra over the next 3 posts, until they are either exhausted or the Shizukana chakra in their system fades away. Opponents with advanced chakra control, or other methods of repairing or controlling their own chakra may close the opening with a single post of concentrated effort and no further loss of chakra. Chakra Cost: 3+5 (Opponent will lose 5 chakra each post for 3 posts if successful. If unsuccessful, only 3 points of chakra are lost from the Shizukana, due to not needing to infuse their chakra into their enemy.)
A Rank- Spoiler:
Name: Consume Vital Essence Rank: A Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: True to it's name, and perhaps the technique leading to call the clan Vampires, this technique is able to consume large amounts of chakra from an opponent over time. Victims of this technique are doomed without outside intervention, as the Shizukana must manage to grapple and hold their opponent in place for at least one post. Once their opponent is locked tightly in place the Shizukana begins drawing large amounts of chakra out of the opponent with each passing moment, quickly depleting their energy until they fall unconscious or die. While their chakra is being drained, the victim suffers from a large amount of internal pain which reaches every point in their body, as they can literally feel their own essence being torn forcibly from within them. Most victims without increased toughness or some resistance to this pain will only writhe in agony and remain paralyzed while the vampire feeds on them. Chakra Cost: 15, 5 per post (drains 10 chakra each post, restoring it to the Shizukana)
Name: Wolf's Careful Assessment Rank: A Type: Doujutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: By focusing on their Hotokegan and empowering their sense of sight with chakra, the Shizukana is able to focus on a single person at a time, and completely assess their current status. This reveals physical injury and sickness, as well as poisons and disease within person as a slightly corrupt flow of chakra within afflicted areas, but also reveals a huge amount of other information. This allows the Shizukana to precisely measure a person's remaining chakra supply, as well as the particular elemental affinities found within them. Further it increases the range at which a Shizukana can examine someone's chakra network from 5 meters out to 10 meters. In doing this, much like a wolf, the Shizukana is able to pick out the weakest, most injured opponent within an entire crowd of people, and deal with them first. Inspection with this technique requires only a brief moment of time per person. An entire post spent using this technique requires only one expenditure of chakra, and enables the inspection of three people. If the person is more than 10 meters away from the Shizukana they will be unable to get an exact count on remaining chakra supply. Chakra Cost: 12
Name: Disassociate Rank: A Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Two strikes are needed to place this jutsu, though they need only be light contact between hand and the opponent's body. Both strikes set up a chain reaction within an opponent which can lead to a dire situation to some. When placed this jutsu has no affect on most people, however anyone with a secondary chakra supply will find themselves completely cut off from it for two full posts. The chakra spent by the Shizukana forms a barrier within the opponent which dams the flow of chakra from a fuuinjutsu seal, a spirit or demonic possession, and even the second chakra source of a bijuu, rendering techniques which rely on that chakra unusable by the opponent for the duration of the technique. Chakra Cost: 15
S Rank- Spoiler:
Name: Damnation Rank: S Type: Taijutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: The penultimate expression of the Shizukana's control over their opponent's chakra, this single technique will almost always end a fight the moment it is used. It is also heavily damaging to the opponent, so it is rarely used by the Tranquil clan. When needed the user of this technique strikes the oppenent in four major tenketsu locations and inserts a large amount of their chakra into each spot. This technique, like the Juken style, completely paralyzes the chakra circulatory system, and separates it from the physical body. The result is a shock of pain followed by complete paralysis within their enemy. Death by chakra exhaustion is quick to follow for those unable to receive medical treatment for the injury, as their body will be completely unable to access their chakra network at all the moment the fourth strike lands in place. Deprived of chakra the victim will suffocate in misery as their own essence is simply stunned within them. Chakra Cost: 25
