| Kokohi no Jutsu - False Place Technique
Akimaru was having a bad day. Anger and annoyance pulsed through him. There was no particular reason behind his mood, just the fact that he had woken up in a bad mood upset him. Then being upset at such a trivial thing had angered him. All of his negative emotions swirled around his head until he was in the state he was in. He had panda eyes. His eyes were red and puffy from crying a lot, his hair was a mess where he had run his fingers through it many times in a pathetic attempt to calm himself and his nose was running so he had to sniff up mucus every ten seconds or so. Akimaru hated being like this, but there wasn't much he could do to help himself calm down. He liked to go on walks when he was upset like this, which was what he did. It was late at night, waning midnight. Only the shifty types were around on the main streets of Konoha. Those who appeared at night alone, then disappeared. Customers that didn't want people to know what they were buying. The sly, greedy, manipulative types were plaguing the streets.
Not to his surprise, Akimaru found he wasn't the only ninja out for a stroll. Many had been placed on the night guard. But as the ninja force became aware of what steps the shifty people took to sell blatantly illegal items, the shifty people came up with new ways to conceal their activities. It was a strong cycle, which didn't seem like it would be broken any time soon. But the night guard did catch a few dunces who often gave heavily useful information for catching the sharper ones with great bounties over their heads. "Pfft, bounties. Money. It's all people care about." Akimaru thought dejectedly to himself, hating human life. Deciding to have a look to see if he could see first hand what all this activity was that happened late at night, Akimaru dropped into the Merchant's trail, where a lot of the stuff happened.
As he was walking through the area, the stench befouled him. He could barely breathe. "What do they do down here?" he thought in disbelief. Carrying on with his journey, Akimaru took a left, and for the first time in his walk in the underground, came across other people. There were a few stalls, and people loitering around. People were talking about strange things. "Eye of Newt, musn't be caught with that." Akimaru distinctly heard one woman say, amongst all the babble of strange and mysterious things such as plasma pills, kinjutsu scrolls and other weird ninja things. Knowing he was stood around the undesireables, Akimaru's anger turned to paranoia. But then he hated being paranoid, which angered him further.
As he was walking along the area, pushing people out of his way if they crossed his path, a man stopped him. "Oh pleassse, do help meee! Zat sssilly man knocked over all my thingsss! All zat eye of newt! I must have justice! Either kill him or replace my thingsss!" The man pointed behind him. It was an empty tray, which had red stains in it as if blood had been there. The man had spoken in a robust accent, so it was hard to understand what he was saying. But Akimaru had heard enough. The man was either stupid, or he hadn't realised Akimaru was a ninja, and thought by his big build that he belonged in this weird crowd. This offended Akimaru, but he didn't have time. Looking back at the empty tray, he formed the handseals to Kokohi no Jutsu. This was the False Place Technique, which was a basic genjutsu which would make it appear as if the eye of newt, which Akimaru hadn't the faintest idea looked like, so he made the illusion literally look like newt's eyes. This seemed to satisfy the man, but not Akimaru.

He had to take his anger out on someone, so he followed the man who had knocked over the robust man's things. He moved very swiftly, as if not wanting to be caught up, but he seemed to be looking for someone. Akimaru trailed him through the crowd, and was relived when he jumped back up onto the main street of Konoha. He mingled with the crowd as if he knew he was being followed, but Akimaru kept his eye on his bright red hair, which was easy to spot. As if he had read Akimaru's thoughts, the redhead put his hood up, which was black. It was now much harder to trail him in the dark, as he found it hard to see as it was. As the man walked past streetlamps, Akimaru was assured he was still following him. He followed him for around a quarter of an hour, before the man jumped up onto a rooftop. Wasting no time, Akimaru jumped across the street, and landed feline on the roof. The same one as the hooded redhead, who turned around at this point.
The man seemed to growl in a low rumble, then charged at Akimaru. They were under the cover of shadow on a high roof, so no-one would see them. "Good. I don't want anyone to interfere. I'm gonna crush this guy." Akimaru allowed his anger to take over him, and fought to the best of his ability. The man was obviously a shinobi. Akimaru could see the glint of a headband, which did not don the Konoha symbol. He was good at hand-to-hand combat, and Akimaru wasn't sure how long he would be able to last. Angered at himself for allowing his confidence to waver, Akimaru formed handseals for Suiton: Mizurappa. Charging up chakra in his chest, Akimaru released a blast of water from his mouth so quickly, the shinobi didn't have time to dodge, and he was knocked backwards off the roof.
Akimaru heard a thud. Wasting no time, he dropped down from the roof into the garden the shinobi was sat in, propped up against a tree, dazed. "This is a citizen of Konoha's garden. I musn't be seen." Akimaru formed the handseals for Jubaku Satsu. Caught in Akimaru's genjutsu, it seemed to the dazed shinobi as if Akimaru were emerging out of the tree he was propped up against, a kunai in his hand, ready to kill. When it would seem Akimaru was going for the kill, Akimaru thought the victim would let out a scream maybe, but all he did was grunt lowly. The shinobi's dark eyes shut slowly. "Justice will be served." Akimaru said bitterly, knowing his previous jutsu had been successful.

Deciding to use a jutsu he had only thought up in his own mind, Akimaru pointed at the further dazed shinobi and spoke. "Crucio." he said firmly and anger pulsing through him. Starting off small, Akimaru allowed the man to feel pain, all in his mind. Akimaru found it theraputic, releasing his stored up anger. First, he allowed the man to believe he had head-lice, sucking the blood out of his head. Then he made his skin dry and flaky. As he released more anger and above, more chakra he made the man believe his skin was peeling off a little, and cuts started to appear. Clenching his fists, Akimaru pumped more chakra into this jutsu. He was now at the C-Rank stage of the jutsu. Akimaru made the shinobi believe his cuts were lengthening, and becoming septic. He also made him believe a hornet stung him on the arm. Sickened at the fact Akimaru was enjoying this, which led to more rage, Akimaru pushed the jutsu as far as he could go, which was B-Rank, for the amount of chakra he had exerted, made the malovolent man believe his fingernails had fallen off.
"Stop." Akimaru could hear a voice in his head. "Stop darling, this isn't right." His mother's voice echoed throughout his head, and Akimaru faltered. Then Lilium popped into his mind, and Akimaru fell on to his knees, relieving the man of his mental pain. His eyes were wide a bloodshot, and he was most definately unconcious. Akimaru felt terrible, for testing such a jutsu on an innocent man. Trying to justify what he did, Akimaru thought to himself. "Well, he wasn't exactly innocent..." Tears rolled out of his eyes, and Akimaru dashed away from the scene. He ran, his heart pumping fast until he was back at his house. Akimaru's mother was awake, as she had evidently noticed his absence. Sweating, Akimaru explained everything to her. It was probably the most they had ever spoken in front of each other. She sat quiet, listening. She remained expressionless, even as he got to gory parts of his midnight tale.
When he had finished, his mother consoled him in a gentle voice which only she possessed. She told him that he couldn't control his bipolar condition, and the Hokage would be informed by her, but he was aware, so she stamped out his worries that he would be fired as a ninja. She told him the man had partly deserved what Akimaru had given him, but that didn't make it right. She expressed how proud she was of him by being able to execute three genjutsu in one night, all of which he had only read in theory once, or made up in his mind. It was only then that Akimaru realised how the adrenaline had helped him perform Kokohi no Jutsu - False Place Technique, Magen • Jubaku Satsu - Demonic Illusion • Tree Binding Death, Crucio - Kōsa Noroi [Crucio - Cruciatus Curse] all in a row. He had read about Kokohi no Jutsu and Jubaku Satsu in a genjutsu book in the library the night before, and had scheduled to practice them today. But he had already mastered them without meaning to.
Crucio - Kōsa Noroi had been made up by Akimaru himself when he had wanted to inflict as much pain as possible on someone because of his anger. His mother said to him. "I wouldn't use that jutsu unless you really have to honey." Akimaru agreed, and locked it deep away within his mind, to be called upon in life-or-death situations, or to prorect somebody he loved. "Maybe more good came out of today than you thought it could ever have." Akimaru Kiyo's mother said positively, leaving the house, presumably to go to the Hokage's office, despite the fact it was now 2am. Feeling consoled by his mother, Akimaru ran upstairs, and went to bed.
