| center>Yoroi Kaguya | | | The Snake Scroll At the end of a very heated fight, the two finally fell down to ground, completely tired out and having nothing left to give. It was the way they did things, never backing down until they had not a shred of stamina and chakra left to throw at the other. Having tested the full extent of his new speed, Yoroi was more then happy with the results of his training. He had managed to improve his use of the Shikotsumyaku like he had hoped he would, just like how his speed had been taken to far greater levels even he believed were beyond the reach of mankind. By outrunning a snake in terms of striking speed, he had sufficiently increased his speed to be far superior to anything Shakreido could keep up with, augmenting his physical strength and endurance with his high density bone structure. Whenever the snake timed his actions right, he could just block his teeth from penetrating his skin by making a thin layer right beneath it, causing his teeth to only scratch the surface and not the flesh.“Master, it seems like the time has come for you to learn a bit more about my kind. You see, we snakes are rather reclusive and proud, not accepting everyone into our ranks without them going through the trials myself and the others agree upon. I have been watching your daily life for several weeks now, and I can honestly say that you've managed to persuade me into believing that you are ready for what we have in store for you. Stand back”Wondering what it was that Shakreido was being so incredibly secretive above, the animals stomach suddenly started to bulge up, almost as if it had swallowed an entire log. Starting to regurgitate, Yoroi took a few steps back, not really feeling like being covered in spit and puke for no good reason. To his surprise, the thing that came up from his body was not a half digested animal or a log, it was a black scroll the size of a log. Wondering what he was going to do with it, he remembered that this was the scroll he had signed when he made a pact with Shakreido and his family of snakes. For a moment, he just stood still and looked at the black scroll, though Shakreido broke the silence by tapping the tip of it’s tale on top of it, causing it to unfold and open up completely. He could clearly see the signature written in blood on top of the contract canvas, his being the only one in the entire scroll. It made him feel special to believe that he was the first and currently also the only known summoner.“This is the scroll you signed once before when you and I made our pact, though there is more to this scroll then you think. When you signed the scroll with your blood, the only thing you signed off on was to be able to summon me to your side as a means of aiding you in battle. Now that you have proven yourself to be worthy of the title, I hereby pronounce you Master of the Bronze scales. It is an honorary title mostly, though you will be allowed to use our secret snake techniques and summon others from our den. If you sign this page, the deal will be finalized”Letting Shakreido’s words sink in for a bit, he wondered what it meant to be able to use the secret snake techniques, as well as the other kinds of snakes that he would be allowed to summon to him if he signed the other page. Biting his thumb, he sat down and wrote down his signature in the blank space. If it was required for him to learn an entirely new branch of techniques and get into a new form of relationship with Shakreido and his snake family, a bit of blood was easily spent. Shortly after signing, the scroll poofed away to the place where it had been stored for safe keeping. Now, he would seek out means of using this new form of ninjutsu, either learning these things from Shakreido or from someone else entirely. Seeing the twinkle in Shakreido’s eyes, it seemed that he was more then ready to teach him how to do this thing.Exit topic | | |
