Saya looks down at her mask with a grin, adjusting the elastic straps to fit just right. She preferred to keep them just a little on the tight sight, better to ensure the tight seal when she’s wearing it. The filters were fed by small slots on her mask, and had slightly more surface area than a typical gas mask would. The soft leather padding that cupped around her face was soft enough to not cause any irritation, but also flexible enough to ensure no outside air got in to disturb her eyes or mouth.

After pulling the mask on over her head, it’s a little obvious the steel thing is a little over sized for her. Once the dome shaped helmet is pulled on over it, however, the appearance seems more fitting of her size. After her cloak is in place beneath it, she seems quite nature behind its steel armoring. She takes a few breaths, the filters working well enough, and clearing the air she breathed with little trouble. Of course, common air was no test for the filter.

She reaches beneath her cloak and pulls out a small canister, a little gas bomb she’d picked up at weapon shop. The gas inside it was caustic and hard to breath, and as soon as she pulled out the pin the grenade started to smoke. Saya tosses it just a few feet away from her, the thin grey smoke it was releasing soon shifting to a thin purplish haze. The cloud quickly engulfs her, enshrouding her in the cloud of caustic smoke.

Behind her mask she doesn’t even notice the effects, the air filter and eye protection enough to keep her safe from the effects of the gas. She can’t help but smile with a little satisfaction, hoping this might give her a bit of an edge over people who try to choke her with gasses. Combined with the rest of her armor, her over all protection was quickly growing.
