| KINOSHI, KANATHE INFO. Name:Kana Kinoshi Nickname: Age:19 Gender:Male Appearance:- Spoiler:
Kana is 5’ 7” with an athletic build, think Sai from the anime, and weighs in at 160 lbs. His skin is bronzed from long time in the sun and has acquired a rather weathered look to it. He has big brown eyes like those of a deer that gives him an almost melancholic and scared look at times yet are always piercing and analyzing at others. These are golden brown and have a yellowish star shaped Iris. He has unruly salt and pepper hair past his shoulders. He seldom keeps it combed thinking that cosmetic looks are a waste of time and vain. However, at times, he will pull his hair up in a high pony tail especially when he is about to get serious either in a fight or at work. This gives the appearances as if he is wearing a huge fox tail on his head. His most distinguishing feature is his long curved nose that resembles a hawk. He thinks nothing of it but many a person has commented on it. He has a nasty, bolt shaped scar near his heart.
His clothing is more practical than fashionable. His clothing is mostly grey so as to blend in as many environments as possible with minimal camouflage. He wears a skin tight turtle neck shirt with zippers under both armpits and from neck to high chest for when days are extremely hot. On top of that he wears a medium travel poncho that falls down to mid shin. It is made of impermeable material to keep out both rain and harsh winds. He also wears a long scarf in true shinobi fashion to conceal his face in the dark or to protect it from the environment. The scarf has a built in hood which he wears on missions but leaves down when not in duty status. Finally his pants are also desert style with few embellishments and are relaxed but not loose on him. The have no pockets and are held up by a sash which can also serve as gauze in need of it. He favors long range weapons such as the throwing knives he sports on his body. The only non military item that he carries with him is an across the shoulder satchel in which he carries small snacks for his summons(eagles) and other animals he employs.
Personality:- Spoiler:
Kana is a very studios and diligent person. He believes that anything worth doing is doing right the first time. As such, he takes his mistakes and faults quite hard and will become very serious for a time until he has figured out how to rectify and prevent the same mistakes from happening again. It is because of this attitude that he has few people he considers friends. He has comrades and acquaintances but a person must pass a certain criteria if he is to consider them as friends. He is easy going and will joke and laugh with those close to him. Yet he will act proper and professional among everybody else. He takes pride in his work, especially his medical work, and will be found deep in reading or research when not doing missions.
He is very respectful and traditional and will often be painfully honest and matter of fact with little tact. He believe the life of a shinobi is to serve and that complaining is just a weakness that will lead to dissention which will lead to betrayal of ones village. Despite this, he is very polite and knows when to hold tongue and when to let it do some lashing.
He does know how to have fun and often spends time with his summons and the animals he takes care of trying to build a bond with them as both part of his professional and social interaction. He will smile politely but is seldom heard to laugh out loud and those who have heard it will vouch that it’s more like an innocent kid laughing rather than the studios and serious Kana. He values life, any life, and will often try to do everything in his power to not kill if possible. However, he knows the value of life and when required to save his comrades or required by the mission will take the opponents life yet he seldom has anger or resentment if one of his comrades dies knowing that is the life of the shinobi. He holds most of his emotions in check but has been known to lose his temper a few times and once he loses control its hard for him to stop venting.
He really, really enjoys sweets and though he seldom has them, he will cherish and savor any small morsel he gets. His food palate is quite simple and will often turn up his nose at elaborate and “fancy” meals as to him these are not as filling and useful. He is often seen eating rice and other grains. He is not a health freak but knows that he must keep his body in a mission ready status. He does not mind eating routine and tasteless food as he knows that this is part of shinobi life and has no want for conform, preferring to sleep under the stars than in a fancy inn. Some may say that his clothes are dirty and torn because he will wear his clothes literally to rags, patching and mending as much as he can. THE NINJA. Origin: Kaze No Kuni Affiliation: Konoha (formerly from Suna) Rank:Chunnin Specialties: Ninjutsu, Medical jutsu Elemental Affinities:Lighting, Wind Combat Style:Long range: Kana will stick to his wind style when at all possible keeping to the shadows and using thrown weapons. Much of his wind style is centered on incapacitating as many opponents as possible. As a medical Nin he is able to evade many attacks and does not consider fighint from the shadows as cowardice. Defensive: once the enemy gets in to mid-close range, Kana will evade and place distance between them. He will also use his poison and Raiton jutsu to incapacitate as many enemy as possible giving him a better chance to avoid direct combat. He also follows instructions as much as possible and will allow his platoon members to do their job and will not rush in if he sees them get hurt because he knows that if he gets hurt then they are both dead. his Medical taijutsu also enables him to use others weakness to his advantage hitting key points in the body. Using his superior intellect, he formulates plans and attacks in which the mission can be accomplished with the least amount of bloodshed as possible. he may not be a good a tactician as a Nara but he is not a berserker. Description: The ninja trains their ability in more advanced evasive maneuvers which serves the purpose of avoiding enemy attacks. The survivability of the ninja increases as they are now capable of executing quicker flips and dodging basic forms of physical attacks by reading an enemies movement.
- Mental Based:
Name: High IQ Rank: C Type: Mental Based Physical Requirements: N/A Training Requirements: A 600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: The ninja innately possesses a high IQ which gives them great practical and analytical prowess. They have vast knowledge in nearly all forms of combat giving them a upper hand when faced with nearly any attack with being able to execute split second counters. With their high IQ the user can determine weak spots in attacks and defenses and can overcome nearly any obstacle. Like the obvious benefits of being very smart, the ninja is well regarded for their great mathematical and thinking abilities.
THE BACKGROUND. History: - Genesis:
In an attempt to mimic Konoha’s Inuzuka clan’s abilities, Suna started a program that would allow them to match and eventually surpass the “dogs” as some had dubbed the Inuzuka. The program code named “Feralnin” recruited shinobi that exhibited particular attunement to wild life. At first, they attempted to establish connections by co habitation with the animals yet all they achieve was nothing more than master-pet relations with little to no military applications. Then they tried to force the master’s will on to the animal by a form of transfer Jutsu yet all this accomplished was the deaths of many shinobi and animals as their brains were “fried” from too much chakra being pumped into their cerebral systems.
The program was ready to be scrapped when a medical shinobi by the name of Kinoshi Musa suggested taking a more refined and scientific approach to the situation. He argued that animals, like any living organism, have electric currents that travel through their nervous system and deliver commands. If one could find the right “frequency” then relaying orders to the animals would be as easy as relaying the order for your arm to move. Having the affinity for lighting helped but was not required, though more chakra would be required if you were not. This was the birth of the Jutsu “Beast Sync” which allowed the master and pet to communicate and fight as a team.
The first hurdle was surpassed yet there were few animals that were domesticated enough to train with. Musa suggested using summons, as the animals both possessed skill that normal animals did not and were also more mentally capable to follow commands. It was from this procedure that “The Test” was initiated where the aspiring Feralnin would use the summoning jutsu and try to make a contract with the animal they had the most affinity for. Failure meant certain death, if not by the animal from the village as this was still the time that Suna had harsher and cruel ways.
Because of his breakthrough Musa was put as head of the program and tasked with its completion and efficiency. He was the first to employ his suggestions and establish a working and growing relation with his summon. He developed many of the jutsu used by the Feralnin. Though their numbers were small, the Feralnin were a proud group. There was little else that could make Musa Kinoshi proud other than the birth of his only son Kana. Little did Kana know, he had been born into a legacy.
- Destiny:
Kana was a happy baby. He was unruly and his poor mother Atsui Kinoshi, would often be seen running after him and keeping him out of mischief as he grew to be a toddler and young kid. There was little else that could keep him sitting down other than his father’s stories after he came home from his study. The two were inseparable and it seemed that Musa welcomed his time with his boy as a vacation from the pressures of Feralnin. Kana would sit wide eyed as his father’s feet listening to his stories of wild adventures and watching in awe as his father demonstrated his jutsu along whit his mountain lioness summon, Rin. Both child and animal would treated each other like family and in their eyes the only thing that separated them from being just that was physical differences. Kana thought the world of his father and though he was awed by his father’s work he never really felt the need to work hard and live the life of a shinobi. He was utterly spoiled by both parents and even up to the day that he was about to join the academy Kana was a trouble maker and prankster.
It was not until a day he was skipping school and decided to drop in on his father that his childhood ended. Musa, spoiling his child as always, did not make Kana go back to school as he should have. Instead, he allowed him to stay and watch the proceedings of their most current experiments on a new jutsu. As always, Kana was awed at the talents of his father and was proud of him. He was so engrossed with the proceedings that he did not notice his mother arriving on the scene with lunch for his father. After a good scolding and lecture his mother gave up on trying to make him go back to school. So they both sat and munched on a few snacks Atsui had also brought with her. One second his mother was smiling at Kana eating the rice cakes she had brought and then screams and shouts would break the peaceful scene. It all happened so fast yet so slow. Kana’s head would snap to the direction of the working shinobi and his doe eyes would swell up to their fullest at the sight he witnessed. Before him stood no longer his father but a grotesque amalgamation of both Musa and Rin. It had a humanoid built but it was covered in fur and had the claws and head of what should have been a mountain lion. The jutsu had technically been a success except for one small flaw, the base most instincts and animalistic tendencies had taken over the mind of both animal and man. Musa, or being know as Musa, started attacking the other Feralnin and their summons. Atsui would grab Kana and place him behind her as Kana would yell out for his father to stop and to the other not to hurt him. The other Feralnin tried as much as they could to avoid wounding their leader yet it was not until the Musa Hybrid lunged for Atsui and Kana that they other shinobi drew their weapons.
The strength and speed of the beast was amazing and on a scientific standpoint the jutsu was a success. Yet at the moment, it was proving to be deadly. Atsui tried to plead with her husband as he kept coming despite the injuries suffered from those trying to placate him and still trying not to kill, but Musa was non responsive. His wild eyes and foaming mouth a testament that the man was not in control anymore. He brushed her aside with little more than a flick of his arm. Kana would watch her fall like a rag doll a few feet away and his eyes would come face to face with the salivating jaw of the monster that had once been his father. His eyes in tears and whimpering Kana uttered the that would come out of the frighten child “…dad?...” in that split second, the berserk eyes would truly see Kana for the first time and Musa would recognize his son. Yet the man had gained control too late, a sword was already piercing his side aiming for his heart, the shinobi acting to save the child from what he believed was still a rampant beast. The life escaping his body, Musa would release the Jutsu and once more, there stood a wounded Rin and wounded Musa.
Kana would rush to his father’s side and hold on to him. The shinobi which had delivered the deadly stroke simply said horrified “ I’m sorry I’m Sorry” Musa would shake his head “It was not your fault Konata, you did your job and saved my son.” He would turn to his son and place a hand on his cheek “Remember Kana, remember me as your father, not as the monster I turned into. Remember that I will always love you and I am sorry I did not get to see you grow up into a fine shinobi.” Then he placed his hand on his son’s chest “but I will always be here and I will always answer if you need me” Musa’s hand suddenly fell limp and his eyes lost their shine as life escaped them.
- Legacy:
Kana had been marked by that terrible day when his father had succumbed to an experimental jutsu. Yet his father would not be the last to do so. The village elders had deemed the jutsu valuable and of military applications so they research and testing continued. Many Feralnin would be scarified in order to perfect it. The once playful and mischievous Kana was gone. The boy from that day on had devoted himself to the perfection of his mind and body. He had taken it upon himself to one day be able to do the jutsu his father had died creating and discovering the way to control it. He was haunted by the deaths of those that had died attempting to perfect it. He would be found in the training grounds of the academy long after others had gone home. His poor mother would wait up restless and worried but Kana hated coming home because it all reminded him of his father. He came home only because of his mother and he would apologize sincerely for leaving her alone in that house.
The boy had grown up and perhaps that is when his salt and pepper hair started to acquire that tint. The weight that he had put on his own shoulders was crushing yet he no longer shied away from it. He graduated among the top of his class yet he was by no means a child prodigy. He had achieved all he had due to hard work and determination. His mother was extremely proud and the few Feralnin that remained had congratulated him whole heartedly. Konata had taken over as leader of the Feralnin and had come to see Kana as his own son and looked after him. He was proud of the achievements and had done all he could trying to dissuade the child from his self imposed punishment and when he could not, he did all he could to help him train and master all that Kana set his mind to. Before he could become a Genin Kana had to take “The Test”.
- Renaissance:
Kana was delivered to the village by a dying mother. A medic named Akuma, and who would later become the young ones mentor and family, tried his best to save her but failed. Kana had lost all his memory and decided to start a new life in Konoha. He was given the title of Gennin after passing a series of test to evaluate if the young man was capable of being a shinobi. His career as a Gennin found him doing varied missions and earning his apprenticeship as a medic. Due to his memory loss, the then head of the medic department sent kana on a long journey to try and find his past and to learn medical procedures from diverse lands. This was to be his Chunnin exam and he was to travel under the guise of a practicing physician. Only the head medic and the ANBU would know of his mission. Kana has returned and ready to impart all he learned in his travels.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1

Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Ninjutsu Techniques

Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals and objects to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature. Signing this contract also allows the animal to reverse summon the human ninja to their location. Chakra Cost: 5 (C Rank Summon), 10 (B), 15 (A), 20 (S) Name: Gamayudan - Toad Oil Projectile Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: The user converts their chakra into an extremely sticky oil and spits this out as a huge mass. The consistency of the oil can then hinder the movement of some materials, such as paper. If a Fire Release technique is thrown at the target after this technique is used, they will be enveloped in flames in an instant. Chakra Cost: 7 Name: Hari Jizou - Underworld Guardian Spikes Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: This is a technique where the user encases themselves in a countless number of sharp needles, but in truth, the spikes are the user's hair. Chakra grants the strands of hair the hardness and shape of needles, endowed with a capacity to injure and kill on par with that of metallic weapons. In addition, if activated in response to an opponent's attack, it can also be used as a counter. The hair is made hard enough that it can withstand blows from certain types of weapons such as arrows. Chakra Cost: 13 Name: Hari Jigoku - Hell Needles Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: This technique first requires you to preform the other technique known as Hari Jizou (Underworld Guardian Spikes). After that is done, the user may then launch a torrent of hardened hair in the form of needles towards his or her target. Chakra Cost: 8 Name: Burēdo no Ha - Blades of Leaves Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0 - 5m) Element: - Description: Burēdo no Ha is a ninjutsu technique utilizing leaves. By using the leaves that are scattered across the ground in the surrounding five metre radius, the user is able to lift ten leaves by using chakra alone and launch them at their opponent. If contact is made, the intended target will suffer from small scratches that the leaves have to offer. The technique will only be able to lift ten leaves at a time, it's also not strong enough to kill, only to scratch the flesh to the point of blood being drawn. Chakra Cost: 4 Name: Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu - Chakra Absorption Technique Rank: C-S Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: After activitating the technique, the user's hand will glow with chakra. By reducing their chakra, it greatly increases the user’s advantage over his or her opponent. Name: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow Clone Technique Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original. Because the chakra of each clone is evenly distributed, the user and each clone will contain the same amount of chakra after deducting the initial chakra cost. All remaining chakra on the clone after it is dispersed is refunded to the user. Clones automatically disperse if their chakra supply hits zero, but are not influenced by the 10 chakra minimum for survival. Chakra Cost: 15 (Per clone)
Name: Kekkai Houjin - Barrier Method Battle Array Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: Kekkai Houjin is a high-level Ninjutsu trap technique. An array of explosive markers are jointly placed around the boundary of an area. If any opponent walks through the boundary, the seals will activate and explode. Chakra Cost: 12

The user will place one hand near the heart and the other on the side closer to the heart to jump start it. In battle applications, once the user has activated the jutsu, the charge can be discharged directly unto a foe with shocking results. Though death is very unlikely, the user will get a substantial charge, extreme shock. Only those with improved endurance or resistance from either a SC or protective clothing will be immune. All others will be momentarily stunned(unable to react normally)(one post). Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Electro Surge - Erekutto Harou Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: 05-10m Element: Raiton Description: the user will perform a series of five hand signs, ox, ram, tiger, dragon, ox, and slam his palms into the ground. The resulting charge will spread outward from the user to in 360 degrees. If the target is standing on a wet or conductive surface such as metal, the damage will be doubled. Target has to be in contact with surface to be affected( stunned(unable to react normally)(one post). Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Live Wire - Raivu Sen Rank: C-A Type: Ninjutsu Range: 0-5m at C rank, 5-10m at B. 10-20m at A. Element: Raiton Description: Based on the electric Arc principle, the user consentrates all their chakra on a single point, like a finger thought this might cause some burns if done continuously, or a kunai, which may explode if used continuously. The build up electricity will be released like an arc and jump across the space, depended on rank, and shock the target. At the C rank level, the charge is unstable and will not discrimate between friend and foe. At B rank, the user may volunatarily aim the arc. At A rank, the user may voluntarily direct the current towards a single enemy or various, up to five with all currents having the same effect and potency( stunned(unable to react normally)(one post). Name: Electro Web - Erekutto Amaimono Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: 0-5m circumference Element: Raiton Description: By placing conductive items such as senbon or kunai around the target the user may create a web of electricity which will trap the target and continue to shock them for as long as the charge is being held. At least three points are needed to make a 4m radius with each aditional point allowing the radius to increase by 2m. Should the charge be held for more than two posts, the target will start to aquire first degree burns. Target will become stunned for one post if they do not posses higher constitution or protection from either a SC or protective clothing. Jutsu may be charged by direct contact or through a wire. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. Name: Wind Blanket Rank: C Type: Nijutsu Range: mid 5-10m Element: Fuuton Description: Wind blanket follows the same nature as a dirt devil or small wind vortex. The wind wall will extend outward at speeds of 15-20 mph to the maximum range of 10 meters and to a height of 20 meters. The wind will pick up dirt and debris light enough to be swept away by a regular gust of wind. This will cause a small dust could that will linger for two posts. Those with proper eye protection will not be affected by this jutsu. The wind is not strong enough to sweep any one of their feet. The rotating vortex may be maintained by the user with an applicable cost of chakra and varying speeds withing the range. The user may not move if the wind is being maintained. All incoming sound is negated, if the subject is particularly attent they might notice this change but if not there is no other effect that may signal the subject something is wrong. Name: Sensori - Neural Deafness Rank: C Type: Medical/Ninjutsu Range: Personal. Element: N/A Description: The user must be medically trained to be able to use this jutsu because of its complexity. After performing two hand sings, Ram and tiger, the user will draw chakry to their two pointing fingers in each hand. Upon placing them just ouside the ear chanal, the chackra will be transferred to the inner ear. The purpose of the chakra is to forcefully shut down the hair cells in the Cochlea. This will cause a medically induced deafness. The use for this in the combat sense is to make the user immune to sound jutsu and sound based Genjutsu. This jutsu may not be used more than four post at a time. The user can release the jutsu in same post without any lingering effects. Can be used no more than twice per thread or there is a risk that the hair cells can not be restarted. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Hagfish Slime Rank: C Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: 0-5m Element: N/A Description: The user uses chakra and body mucus to release a sticky slime that is able to clog nostrils and mouth as well as making it difficult to see. The substance is sticky enough to weigh down senbon. It is not water soluble so it cannot be washed off unless a soft acid, such as vinegar, is used. The stream is released through the mouth and it can be up to a foot in diameter. Ram hand sign. Viscosity and stickyness will wear off after two posts. Chakra Cost: 7 per shot.

Name: Doku Kiri - Poison Mist Rank: B Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user concentrates chakra in their gullet and lungs; before inserting a toxin into their mouth. Upon exhaling, the toxin is transformed into a gaseous state, and expelled into the air to create a 5 meter radial cloud resembling the characteristics of the poison used, in its gas state. The cloud diffuses through the air into a harmless chemical combination after five posts. The poison must be inhaled for a minimum of 2 posts total to take effect, unless stated otherwise in the poison description itself. The poison used must exist in the user's arsenal and be readily available. The properties of the poison must be stated in conjunction with this jutsu. If the poison has no gas state, or the gas state requires a high boiling point, this technique cannot be used with the corresponding poison.
Name: Chakra no Mesu - Chakra Scalpel Rank: B Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: After forming the needed handseals, the ninja will focus chakra to their hands. When their charged hands reach the body of their target, they can extend the chakra internally into the targets body to cut and neatly slice their muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle. Chakra Cost: 10 (Additional 3CP Per Post)
Name: Saikan Chuushutsu no Jutsu - Fine Affliction Extraction Rank: B Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Saikan Chuushutsu no Jutsu is a skill used by medical ninja to remove harmful poisons from a patient's body. The ninja will infuse their chakra into liquid, which they will insert into the patient. They will then use the liquid as a medium to draw out the poison from the cells. This mix can then be removed from the body. Depending on the deadliness of the poison, further treatment with an antidote or medicine may be required. C and B rank poisons may be removed via this technique. A-rank and S-rank poisons will be negated for 3 posts via this technique, but on the fourth will become active again. Chakra Cost: 13
Taijutsu

Name: Oni Suzumebachi-Demon Wasp Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: Personal 0-5m Element: N/A Description: This special type of Taijutsu, though low in level, is only taught to medical students. It teaches the various pressure points and sensitive areas in the body. By using Acupuncture needles, the user may be able to cause nerve damage and also cause muscles to become numb. Using the medics training of evasion, as this jutsu is close-ranged, the user must avoid the opponent's strikes while slowly pin cushioning the target. Chakra Cost: 3CP (1 additional per post).

Weapons [spoiler] Name: Washi Rank:D Type:Exotic Appearance: Washi is basically an obsidian flute that also doubles as a blowgun. Being made of a single piece of obsidian, it is quite resilient and black in color. Washi is about 10 inches in length and about 1/2 of an inch in diameter. It is has an eagle motif with a small one perched on end close to the mouth piece and an eagles head at the end where the darts are loaded and expelled from. The mechanism that allows it to be both a flute and a blow gun is inside. When one twists the small eagle perched near the mouth piece, another thin sheet of obsidian inside the flute shifts to cover the finger holes and expands the mouth piece to allow for a good blow. Quantity: 1 Storage: Carried inside Genin pouch along with the darts. Special Abilities: A flute that doubles as a blow gun. When used in conjunction with the Wind Stream Release jutsu the range of the darts go from 10m to about 20m.
Name: Blow Darts Rank:E Type:Exotic Appearance: The darts are basically pieces of bamboo shaped almost like a senbon with a length of 3 inches to include the fletching. The darts are about 1/4 of an inch in diameter. The fletching is made of bull thistle fluff to provide and air seal and to aid when blown. Because of these simple materials, darts can be manufactured in the wild with little to not extra materials needed. Quantity:10 Storage:In Genin pouch Special Abilities: When dipped in poison, they can deliver the poison below the skin. Easily manufactured.
Name: Modified Accupuncture Needles Rank: D Type: Long Range Appearance: These modified needles are about 5 inches long and the same witdh as a 42 gauge needle. They are specially made for Kana using aluminum and copper metal tips as shown. They can be delivered using his blow gun or via special taijutsu to certain parts of the body. They are quite fragile and will break which means that the tips can stay in the body until removed. This may or may not be dangerous to the target as the tips will continue to sink in through the skin just like a splinter would and perhaps even fester. Quantity: 15 Storage: On the left arm worn as a bracer. The needles are held together by elastic bands. Special Abilities: Made out of extremely conductive metal. Kana uses this as a focus for his Raiton Jutsu. The tips can also be coated with poison. Just like any other acupuncture needle, it can be used to relieve stress or to numb certain parts of the body which can be helpful in medical and combat situations.
Poison. [spoiler]Poison Name: Scombroid Poison Rank: C Poison Description: In Scombroid poisoning, the poisonous ingredient is histamine and similar substances. Normal bacteria on these fish create large amounts of this toxin after the fish dies if it is not immediately refrigerated or frozen. Scombroid poisoning usually occurs in large dark meat fish such as tuna, mackerel, mahi mahi, and albacore. Since this poison develops after a fish is caught and dies, where the fish is caught doesn’t really matter. The main factor is how long the fish sits out before being refrigerated or frozen. By gathering and mixing pieces of the rotting fish, usually left for a few days out, with oil, the user can make this sort of poison. Scombroid poisoning symptoms usually occur immediately. Liquid State: In a small jar about an ounce, the oil can be carried. Weapons are dipped into this oil. Medical Equipment

Name: Medical Flak Jacket Rank: B Type: Clothing Appearance: The Medical Flat Jacket is an iconic equipment piece amongst combatant medics who have been certified within their villages to serve on the field. These variants of the flak jackets are tan. They have three scroll pouches on each side of their chest for herbs, medicine, and other medical tools. For protection they include a neck guard and extra padding over the shoulders. They also have pockets on each side and a zipper down the middle. It also features a red cross on the back and left breast of the jacket that identifies them as a medic amongst others. Special Abilities: The Medic who wears their flat jacket shall gain honorarium for their services. For each person they heal on the field (besides themselves) they are refunded 5CP as a result whether it's by Shousen, delivering antidotes or bandaging. Moreso when the medic heals a target with a Shousen technique, they themselves also slightly healed by the effect. In addition to those, the potency of the medics healing techniques are increased.

Name: Teika Herb Rank: D Type: Herb Appearance: The Teika Bush is very simplistic in terms of its appearance with little to no distinctiveness that would set it apart from other forest bushes. The bush is a nicely toned fern-green and because it's cordate leaves point downwards it in turn causes the bush to look slightly round. The Teika Herb itself is actually the leaves of the bush which have been plucked from it's stems. A typical quantity of Teika Herbs is about a handful of leave. They produce no traceable odor to the common nose, however a creature with a heightened sense of smell can indicate a faint sappy allure. Quantity: 1 Per Thread. Storage: Medical Kit. Special Abilities: The Teika is a habitual herb that is easily found over most habitats within the ninja world. It is used in nearly every society and village for different purposes whether it be medical or nugatory purposes such as food flavoring. However in terms of medical use, a specialist within the field is able to use it's special properties to the field of toxicology. The herb is very sensitive chakra, shoushen chakra to more specific. When the herb is exposed to healing chakra it is able to produce a liquid extremity that is able to sink into the the pores of the skin. The common application in which a medic would use this on a patient would be to apply the herb on an area of the skin and proceed to use the Shousen Jutsu over-top of it. When the herb has secreted into the pores and has entered the bloodstream, it is able to reverse any poison within the person's body back to its [Post 1] state. Although it doesn't remove the poison, it does provide a lot of usefulness when wanting to prevent death or severe harm from a intoxicant in the later stages.
Name: Moeru Herb Rank: C Type: Herb Appearance: The Moeru flower is often mistaken as a Amaryllis because of its large exotic petals and petite size. The petals come in a variety of shades of red but the seeds which are embedded into the veins of the plant are tinted yellow. These seeds are actually the key ingredient to the herb of the Moeru, which is the mushy mixture of its leaves, petals, and seeds. This greenish-red mishmash produces an unpleasant smell once created, which can also be used as an indicator that the mixture is complete. Quantity: 2 Per Thread. Storage: Medical Kit. Special Abilities: The mixture has the ability to fully numb an area that is rubbed into after a few seconds. It's effect wears off after four posts where it must be re-applied to sustain the numbing effect. In addition, the Moeru it is able to cure first and second degree burns within a few minutes of its applications, making it a great pain reliever and burn treatment.

Name: Satchel Rank: n/a Type: Storage bag Appearance : The satchel is a one strap cross shoulder storage bag. it looks similar to an old wine skin yet instead of having a spout for an opening it has a zipper horizontally close to the top about 4in wide for the user to pack food through. The satchel is mainly used for storing grains or nuts, about 10 lbs, in separate containers or bags for cumsuption of kana’s summons. Yet the foodstuffs are also used in an emergency for consumption. The satchel is impermeable and though not air tight will keep dust and rain out. Those with a very acute nose may be able to smell the food though kana tries to stay away from pungent items and prefers dry grains. The only item he carries are candied walnuts which one of his summons loves. Because of the design, Kana can not store weapons as they may pucture the bladder that makes the satchel impermeable. quantity:1 Storage: Across his back or across his chest when he has a mission backpack on. Special Abilities: None.

| Are you aware of the medical professions update? I mean, did you get the profession before your character was archived? If not, you'll have to remove everything related to Eijutsu (Medical Ninjutsu), and get it for your character after you acquire the profession IC.

| You don't request Face Claims e_e You look through the Face Claims to see if the one you desire is in use, and if not, you claim it. |

| ok, I added the Chunnin kit straight from the site and I also added the face claim. Does this seem ok? |

| Just one more thing,
Chloroform Smoke Bombs: For how long (post-wise) is this going to put the one inhaling the smoke to sleep. Also, is a single breath enough to make a person speel or do they have to inhale a decent amount? Is there any smell that would give the smoke away, what color is the smoke? And finally, doesn't something like this have to be based on a poison? |
