Shikanatto Nara Nickname: Nato Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Shikanatto is a thin and long face gentleman with blue eyes and short brown hair. His eyes are a big bigger then average and narrowed slightly down towards his nose. The color of his blue eyes are rather striking but aren’t notice able until you look. His hair is a dark brown, and rather messy. He never really takes the time to style it since he is one of the lucky few who wakes up each morning with perfect hair. He also doesn't mind it a bit messy, and it often ends up looking like a styled, spiky messy look. His hair comes down to the middle of his neck in a short cut, with some strands of hair in his face and eyes, not much, but enough to gently float against his skin. He is quite a clean person despite his raged and laid back look which also applies to the clothes he wears. Coming from a rich family does not change the fact that he likes loose relaxed clothes. Despite his small slightly pointed chin, he has a nice sized squared jaw which is usually more distinguishable once you fallow the line from his chin to his ears. The square-ness to his jaw is easer to see in a profile view. His nose is long, small, and round at the tip. The body type of Shikanatto is tall, slender and strong. He isn’t the pumping iron type, more of, relaxed, laid back but knows when to get work done, type. Although he is slender and tall, being at 5’8”, he does have a nice tone to his muscles, creating quite the nice shape threw out his body. The more toned parts of his body is his arms, legs, and back. His abdomen only has a small out line of toned muscles, everything else pops a bit more. Shikanatto is more of the stereo typical kind of attractive. For example, the type of attractive men you would normally come across in a popular magazine. Yes they are attractive but nearly to attractive to the point where you sit in the background staring, wondering how this kind of person exists and as you continue to stare and begin to find them less attractive because of how un-unique it is. It tickles and woos you but never satisfies you. He is always caught in a soft smile, which is coy and playful, often giving off the sense of an alluring trap, yet some how welcoming and friendly. His eyes rest softly and are never tense how ever are always sharp and watching for any detail in any moment of anything or person. His expression is often kind and friendly but has his moments of what appears as casual spacing out or gets distracted. To sum up his general look, he is sharp with out being sharp. Relaxed with out being relaxed. Generally one would view him as a very simple, easy, attractive, nice guy to talk to, but calling him just that would be a lie. Forehead Protector: Worn at the forehead. Personality: Hm, personality for Shikanatto. Lets start with what you usually see then move on to whats actually going on. Shikanatto is an up bet, friendly, quiet and relaxed person. He tends to nearly always know what to say in most situations and gives great advice. Growing up he was the type everyone liked, had a crush on or admired from a far. Of corse there were the few who hated him because of that, but it was hardly the case, if anyone ever disliked him he never really mind anyways. He has this charm to him that eases you, and he is never the type to hate or gossip about others. He is also surprisingly smart and understands mitral and situations unlike others and often faster then others, but never flaunts it. His unusual high IQ is not that special to him its just as exciting as his brown hair color. Other words to describe him would be, a bit of a space cadet, and a calm, helpful, sweetheart. Also, do note, he loves hedgehogs. He is the crazy cat lady to hedgehogs. Now, what’s actually going on is he’s slowly going threw and dissecting anyone’s brain based on how they speak, act, stand, anything. Even nothing is something. His favorite hobby is to lay out in some field or nice park and space out, it looks like there is nothing going on and he’s just being lazy but actually his brain his constantly contemplating and dissecting the area, environment, people walking by, even goes as far as contemplating every living cell around him. He spends hours on hours simply spacing out and works very well with quiet but can work well in situations where he has to think fast. Typically he is seen as a friendly, social guy who gets along with everyone but he’s in a way putting up a friendly mask to try and figure out people. He acts and says things usually to pick at peoples brains, but actually is social with close friends and people he respects. At points he doesn't know when to stop his brain picking, but has learned how to calm it down and just act like a normal socializing guy. When he drops the mask, he’s not to different, just a bit more real and doesn’t speak in fixed conversation. All in all, anything and everything interreges him and is constantly perusing to learn everything. Only time he gets a bit lazy with it is in typical non challenging schooling. Origin: Mizu no Kuni Affiliation: Kirigukare no Sato Rank: Genin Specialties: Genjutsu; Ninjutsu Elemental Affinities: Fuuton; Katon Combat Style: Since Shikanatto’s over all personality is trying to get to know people and pick their brain, he tends to fight this way. Typically in the first few seconds of battle he picks the offence and studies his opponent in anything they do. He often looks like he has a low guard or just completely casually standing waiting for the opponent the make the first move. In actuality his guard is quite high, he sometimes tends to use the casual appearance to see what the others reaction is whether that it upsets them, does nothing to them, or his illusion is saw threw and is laughable. Any of those reactions, even no reaction, is information for him. He keeps his first moves low to non and does mostly defense to properly understand his situation before attacking. This doesn’t mean he wont attack in the beginning of a fight, he just prefers to wait for a long while and enjoys taking his sweet time figuring things out. Because of this typical first strategy he tends to have rather fast defense or dodge. After this typically he uses Taijutsu to get up and close and personal with his opponent to gather information and as he discovers their skill level and how deep in shit he is in or not, he strategies a way to end the fight. Also using Taijutsu is sometimes another nice reaction gather to see what the person will do after he has been on the offence for so long then suddenly be attacking. His Taijutsu isn’t pertically fast, his fast points are with defense and quick thinking. After this he goes to long distance using either Genjutsu or Shadow possession jutsu. His Taijutsu is by far the less practiced and not his best card. All of this is his typical way of fighting but he can always bend his strategies based on the situation. - Grew up in a very rich family.
- His father worked under the Daimyo as a protection unit.
- Shikanatto is a master at Shogi because his father taught him. It was there only way of bonding considering his father hardly talked to him but non the less Shikanatto respected him so much.
- As a young child he didn’t socialize much only when his parents made him for important meetings or get togethers. He developed his mask with fake socializing because of this.
- As he grew up he made two best friends from the academy, who are now in his team.
- In his time in the academy he never was a good student, grade wise, despite his high IQ, and the only way he actually passed was because his father bribed the head of the academy.

Amongst the dead and mist filled forest, where the only noise heard for miles was a simple deer desensitized from the forests’ constant eerie feeling, sat a dark and lonely cabin. The cabin was obviously old and appeared abandoned as if it were over run with vegetation that came to claim its piece of the forest back, and lingering entities who simply can not leave because of their inability to except they do not own this cabin any more. Despite its appearance, this cabin was indeed inhabited by something of the physical world and not disembodied previous owners. This current and living owner sat at his work desk by the only large window in the whole cabin, tinkering away at yet another project. Around him was a clutter of a mess of herbs, jars of strange things, potted plants, scrap metal pieces, a mesh of assorted tools, empty jars and animal furs. His clutter of things almost seemed unnecessary but to him every single piece was extremely necessary. Seeing as this young mans’ life currently revolves around, inventing, botany, and alchemy every piece around him is impotent to his livelihood.
The room he sat in, despite the large window, was still a dark room and required plenty of lit candles to keep the dark and musty feel away. As he tinkered away with a newly brewed poison, nothing fancy simply for a headache, he sat back in his old wooden rocking chair to run his fingers threw his short, dark brown hair. The longer part of his hair, which laid in the front of his skull, similar to bangs, flopped back into his face as he let out a long, slightly irritated sigh. Glancing to the window with a tired look that always seem to sit on his young, thin face, he wondered how long he’d been sitting there letting the time pass carelessly. Although why should he care how long he’d been spending doing something he really enjoyed. Then again, there are other needs to take care of instead of, inventing constantly all the time. And with that, his stomach rumbled. Letting out an annoyed grumble and relaxing back in his chair, as if to melt into it out of how badly he did not want to move. Despite this lazy impulse he stood, wobbling at first, one would be surprised this guy could stand at all seeing as he was quite the thin looking guy.
Before he could move the sound of creaking wood echoed threw his house sending shivers up his spin. It was behind him. The sound moved faster then he could think of a reaction and his heart pound against his chest. Please no. Not again. He turned at the sound of the door swinging open.
“William!” A tall dark haired women with a bright smiling face came bursting threw the door, speaking at an unnecessary loud tone, “I couldn’t find that weird herb thing you told me to find, what ever its called,” the woman said rubbing the back of her head. William slumped where he stood, dear sweet Jesus he is way to paranoid to be living with someone else so soon. He sighed looking as if he was about to speak but the woman continued.
“Are you sure you told me the right place to look? Because I couldn’t even find weeds where I went. You’ve got to come with me! It’s a lot more fun with you anyways,” he voice trailed off a little as she moved her hands together gingerly, giving him a soft smile. William pinched the bridge of his nose sighing once more, “Isa…Holy shit do you ever knock?” he said as he placed a hand over his heart as if to calm the tiny heart attack he nearly had.

Description: Kage Mane no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique used by the members of the Nara clan. It's original purpose was as a skill to help delay any pursuers. After forming the needed hand seals, the clan member is able to manipulate their shadow along any surface. They may use other nearby shadows to further extend the reach of their shadow, however they are limited to the surface area of the original cast shadow (They may not exceed an additional 15m of shadow this way). Once the clan members shadow reaches the target shadow, it will attach itself. While attached the target will be frozen, only able to replicate in mirror form the actions of the clan member. If the clan member is low on chakra, the Kage Mane will falter and the shadow will return to its normal form. The time of day should be carefully noted by those using this technique. If the sun is setting, the shadow will naturally be bigger, and thus able to hit the maximum range. If the sun is halfway across the sky, than the shadow will be much smaller, and incapable of reaching even the 5m limit. Additionally, if the struck member exerts 14CP of chakra (Whether it be physical force or some other In Character method), they may reject the shadow binding and free themselves. Though free, it does not prevent the user from catching them in this jutsu again.

Description: Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique used by the members of the Nara clan. Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. To perform the technique the clan member will first bind their target using the Kage Mane no Jutsu technique. Once the target can no longer move, they form the needed hand seal to initiate this technique. The clan member uses their shadow to form a hand which will creep up their opponents body to their neck. Once the hand reaches the neck, it will constrict in such a manner so as to strangle the opponent. Opponents may break this technique by exerting 14CP after the strangling process. Breaking of this technique also dispels the Shadow Possession technique.

Name: Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique

Description: Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

This mist is extremely difficult to see through from someone not of Kirigakure, who are used to looking through heavy mists, and are more able to do combat while within said mist. The jutsu involves kneading chakra into the mist, allowing the user to create extremely thick or thin levels of mist. Those with doujutsu or chakra sensing techniques are also able to see through this thick mist but without any aid, then you'll be blind within the mist. A C-Rank Fuuton Jutsu can dispel the mists.

This genjutsu will cause the noise of dripping water to echo steadily through the target's head to the degree that it becomes hard to hear themselves think. Because of the steady pattern, it is extremely hard to fall asleep with this dripping, and thus it can be used as a torture method against many. The jutsu ends at the end of the topic, if not otherwise dispelled.

This genjutsu works in a way to enter the target(s) head and find their darknest fears before creating them and having them emerge from the black mist. Basically, this jutsu is a jutsu that does nothing more than create optical illusions of what the target(s) fears the most in order to pray on their weaknesses and fears during combat.
